Charlie was silent after what the nurse had just said to him. In response, he then had nodded his head.
"Yes I am.",he said.
That was when the nurse walked up to him.
"Sir, Ms.Beauragrade is going to be in the emergency room for a while. She needs surgery due to her injuries. We are going to have to ask you to leave.", explained the nurse.
This caused Charlie to be in shock. He looked over at Violet's body then looked back at the nurse. He nodded once again.
"Okay, I will leave.",he said.
He left the room. This was the hardest thing he had to do. He thought if he left, something could happen to Violet. He just wanted her to be okay. The nurse nodded. Now she could take Violet to the emergency room. This way they could perform the surgery on her. There were too many questionable injuries . As Charlie left the room, he could see the nurse pulling Violet's bed. They were on the way to the emergency room surgery suite. Four different people ran to her gurney with different medical equipment to attach. One person was yelling to her.
"Violet, can you hear me? Violet, stay with us, we are going to fix your injuries now!", shouted the nurse.
Watching this made Charlie want to cry.
