Caitlin was still driving to work, and she began to talk to Frost about the entire situation with her having sex with Iris. "Was it right of me to have sex with Iris?" Caitlin asked Frost.
"Caitlin I refuse to let you beat yourself up for what you did, you even asked Barry if it was okay if you had sex with Iris." "I think it was perfectly fine what you did, especially since Barry gave you the go ahead to have sex with Iris."
Caitlin sighed, I suppose you're right." "Also what do you think about Iris saying she will be sending Barry divorce papers?" Caitlin asked Frost.
"Well like you told Iris Earlier, it's best she divorces Barry now then have her be in a marriage she is miserable in for years."
"That's true" Caitlin said.
"Yeah don't fret girl, but I do feel bad for Barry though" Frost said. "I'm always here if you need to talk about anything sis"
"Yeah I feel bad for Barry too" Caitlin replied.
"Thanks sis" I really appreciate it."
"No problem" sis" Frost replied.
Caitlin then pulled into the Star Lab's parking lot, and she then exited her car. She then closed the car door behind her, she then entered the Star Lab's building.
Cisco was talking to Barry about the entire situation, as Caitlin entered the main room of Star Labs.
Caitlin felt very awkward as she entered the main area of Star Lab's. Caitlin avoided talking to both of them, and she went to her office in Star Lab's.
Meanwhile Thawne had gone out to get the divorce papers. Thawne had dropped the divorce papers back at Barry's apartment, and he then quickly drove to The Citizen.
He then made it to The Citizen. He then made it to Iris's office, and he apologized to Allegra and Kamilla for being late.
"Why were you late boss?" Allegra asked.
"It's personal" Thawne replied. "Oh and by the way I'm going to write an article today with me coming out as a lesbian."
"Oh wow boss, that will make a great story" Allegra said.
"Yes I can't wait to read it when you finish writing it" Kamilla stated.
"Thank you both, and I'm getting started on the article right now."
"Oh alright boss" Allegra stated.
"Sounds good boss" Kamilla said.
"Me and Kamilla are going to go out, so me and Kamilla can continue to work on the Carver article." Allegra said.
"Yes Allegra has an interview with one of the Black Hole employees, and we think it will be a big break through for the article" Kamilla said.
"Oh wow that's good, good luck with the interview Allegra."
"Thanks boss" Allegra said. Allegra, and Kamilla got up, and left to so Allegra could do her interview with the Black Hole Employee.
Eobard was glad he had the place to himself for a while. "I can't wait wait for anyone who reads The Citizen to know Iris is a lesbian now" he whispered to himself. Thawne began to write his article on Iris being a lesbian now, when all of a sudden he heard a knock at the door.
"Come in" Thawne said. He was wondering who had knocked on the door, and to his shock it was non other that Cecile Horton.
Thawne knew Cecile could sense emotions, so he knew he had to be an even better actor than ever before.
"Hey Iris, I wanted to say I'm very happy that you came out as a lesbian." "It's better than you hiding your emotions, and bottling it up inside until you burst." "Just know me, and Joe support you coming out as a lesbian 100%."
Eobard was grateful to have Cecile, and Joe on his side. It was one last headache that he had to worry about, but little did Thawne know that most of Team Flash was suspicious of Iris's recent behavior. The only members of Team Flash that weren't suspicious of Iris's odd behavior recently were Caitlin and Frost.
Cecile sensed Thawne's emotions, and Thawne was good at hiding his true emotions. He was able to make himself feel happy instead of nervous.
"I just sensed your emotions, and you feel so happy." "May I ask why you feel so happy?" Cecile asked.
"Well I'm so happy before I'm writing an article about the fact that I'm a lesbian now, I want all of The Citizens readers to know my new sexuality." "I don't want to hide my sexuality from the public's eye." "The Citizen is all about writing about the truth, and I hate hiding secrets from my reader's" Thawne said.
"Oh that's wonderful sweetie, I'll let you get back to it then." "See you" Cecile said.
"See you later Cecile" Iris smiled at her.
Cecile smiled back before she left Iris's office.
The rest of the day for Eobard was uneventful, eventually it was time for him to go home.
Caitlin texted Iris "I'm waiting for you in the parking lot" the message said.
"Alright be out soon" he typed back. He, Kamilla, and Allegra all exchanged goodbyes before he made his way to Caitlin's car. He then entered the passenger side of the car.
"Want to go out to eat?" "I know you must be starving" Caitlin asked.
"I would love that girl" Thawne said.
"Is Big Belly Burger fine?" She asked.
"That's perfect" Eobard said.
They eventually make it to Big Belly Burger. As a waitress was walking them to their table, Thawne cheekily slapped Caitlin's. Caitlin was blushing so hard, especially since she had slapped her ass in front of the waitress. Thawne sat in front of Caitlin, and the waitresses asked what they wanted to drink.
"Water for me please" Caitlin.
"I'll take a sweet tea" Eobard said.
"Alright I'll have those drinks for you shortly" the waitress said.
As the waitress walked away, Caitlin asked Iris "why did you slap my butt."
"Hey you have a smoking hot body if I couldn't help it."
"Caitlin's face went flush red at Iris's comment.
"You really think I have a hot body?" Caitlin asked.
"I really do yes not only your ass is great, but your boobs are pretty great too."
Caitlin couldn't stop blushing "thank you, you're too kind."
"No problem girl, and I have a question for you." "And you can tell me no if you want to."
"What's the question?" Caitlin asked.
"Well would you like to be my girlfriend?"
Caitlin was so red in the face, and she replied with a "yes of course I'll be your girlfriend."
Eobard didn't expect that answer, "well I'm the happiest person alive then to call you my girlfriend then" she smiled at Caitlin.
"You're just amazing Iris" Caitlin stated.
"No you're the amazing one" Thawne replied back.
Meanwhile at Star Labs, Team Flash had made a plan to see what was truly going on with Iris. "Me and Chester built this device together, and it will let Barry enter Iris's mind." Cisco explained to Barry, Joe, Cecile, Ralph, Allegra, and Kamilla.
Chester asked Cisco "how do we get Iris into this device?"
"We have to sneak her here, as she sleeps" Cisco explained.
Barry nodded. Barry didn't like the plan, but he knew he had to do something about the situation.
Meanwhile Caitlin, and Iris were both enjoy their time at Big Belly Burger. They both got 2 bacon double cheese burgers with fries in the side. They were nearing the end of their date, and Thawne ended up paying. He also tipped the waitress 20 dollars.
Thawne opened the restaurant door for Caitlin, "why thank you" Caitlin said.
"Anytime" Eobard replied.
Thawne and Caitlin then made it to Caitlin's car, and he opened Caitlin's car door for her.
"Awe you're too kind, thank you" Caitlin said.
"Anytime" Eobard said.
They both got into the vehicle, and Caitlin began driving to her apartment.
Thawne then told Caitlin about the article she was writing, and she would be honored if she could name drop Caitlin in the article.
"I would be honored if you named dropped me in the article" she said. "Also you admitting to all your reader's that you are a lesbian now takes a like of courage, and I really admire you for it" Caitlin said.
"Well I hate hiding the truth from my readers, and the world deserves to know that I am a lesbian now" he replied.
When Iris, and Caitlin got home they watched a movie on the couch for a while, and after the movie they both turned in. Caitlin and Eobard both agreed that since they were both dating now, that they would sleep in the same bed as each other. By now they were both asleep in Caitlin's bed. Barry snuck into Caitlin's apartment, and he made sure to run so fast that time seemed like it was frozen in time.
He grabbed Iris, and made sure not to wake her up. He made it back to Star Labs, and Cisco put the head device on Iris's forehead.
Cisco then put another head device on Barry Allen, and it then transported Barry inside of Iris's mind.
"Well, well, well, it took you like enough Barry" Thawne said.
"Thawne you, you are the cause of my wife acting so odd."
"Yes I've been possessing her body for the past almost 2 days now, and it will be a full 2 days on the stroke of midnight that l'll be in this fine sexy body of mine."
"Also at the stroke of midnight I'll have complete control over your wife's body, and she will be trapped in here forever." "Your wife is over there having to relive her biggest regret, and if she doesn't overcome that regret by midnight I'll be your lovely wife forever" she chuckled evilly.
Barry rushed over to Iris's side, and he was seeing her biggest regret, she was reliving Nora disappearing in her and Barry's arm's over and over again.
"Baby it wasn't your fault, it was Nora's choice to not enter the negative speed force" Barry said.
"Iris, it was Nora's choice, it's not your fault" Barry said.
Iris was in tears, as Barry hugged her. "It's not your fault." "Come back to me, and the rest of the team."
"It's not my fault, but it still hurts" she replied.
"I know babe, now come back to me and the team, and we will help you get through this together."
Iris nodded, as her and Barry both saw Thawne started to disappear.
Thawne began screaming "no, no, no."
Thawne disappeared, but he wasn't dead.
Iris appeared in Star Lab's, "wow that was insane." "Thank you all for freeing me from Thawne's control."
"Anytime" Barry said. "The team is just glad to have you back, isn't that right team?"
They all agreed with Barry on that one. Iris said she had to go back to Caitlin's place to explain the entire situation to Caitlin. "Mind rushing me back to Caitlin's place, so we can explain the entire situation to her?"
"Oh and babe Caitlin, and me sort of are dating because of Thawne."
"Oh crap, I don't want Caitlin to be hurt" Barry replied.
"I don't want her to be hurt either" Iris said.
Barry rushed Iris, and himself over to Caitlin's place. They both woke her up, and explained the whole situation to Caitlin.
"It was Thawne who had feelings for me, and not you Iris" Caitlin said in a stunned tone.
"That's exactly right, and are you okay?" Iris asked Caitlin.
"I'll be fine" she said even if it wasn't true.
"Yeah we both want you to be okay, and if you need anything never hesitate to come to us about anything okay?" Barry said to Caitlin.
"Y'all are both so sweet, but I just need some alone time okay?"
They both nodded, and they both went back to Star Lab's.
Chester informed Barry that Thawne was still alive, but he just didn't have a host body.
"So he could become anyone, we have to be prepared for the next time Thawne strikes" Barry said.
I know this fanfic most likely ended a lot sooner than a lot of y'all wanted, but I do plan to make a squeal fsnfic where Thawne becomes Nora West Allen in season 7 of The Flash. Well if y'all want to see the fanfic that is, it is a fanfic I'm interested in making. On that note, I hope y'all enjoyed this fanfic, and I hope I did this last chapter the Justice that it deserved.
