So here we are with the last chapter of my story. This is the very last story from me, because I don´t watch SWAT anymore... Thanks for all the reviews, I was very happy about everyone :-)
Later that evening, the mood is still as great as before. Everyone is having a great time and even little Ruby seems happy. She hardly cries and smiles almost all the time. In the meantime she has landed with Luca and he doesn't want to give her up either. With her big, blue googly eyes, she captivates everyone.
"So my dear Luca, now I have to kidnap the little one because I think she's hungry." Bonnie leans over his shoulder and smiles lovingly at her baby.
"Ok that's a good argument to give her to you, I'm afraid." He grins and hands her over to her mama.
Bonnie goes into the hosts' bedroom and breastfeeds in peace. Just before she finishes, Tan walks in.
"Hey." He whispers. "Is the princess asleep again?" He wants to know.
"Yes. Deep and sound." Bonnie rocks her back and forth in her arms. As Tan stands next to Bonnie he puts an arm around her and kisses the top of her head.
"Well, I have to say that Ruby has done really well for us. Your eyes and nose and my thick and dark hair."
"Yeah, she's just perfect and I think we really need to keep an eye on Street." She looks at Tan with a raised eyebrow and tries to stifle a smirk. "He's so infatuated with her that I wouldn't put it past him to kidnap her one day." They both look at each other and have to laugh.
"It's so nice that Ruby has a second family here who will always have her back." Tan adds, and the two enjoy the moment for a moment before rejoining the others.
The months just fly by.
Chris and Street have gotten used to living together and they harmonize wonderfully. At SWAT, everything goes without a hitch, even though Street sometimes worries too much about her when she's on duty and he's not by her side.
Today they are taking care of Ruby so Bonnie and Tan can have a few hours to themselves. The little one is now 8 months old and busy crawling around. When the two arrive at the front door they can already hear her cooing from inside. A smile comes to their lips.
"Hey you two, come on in." Tan greets them and immediately George comes running towards them.
"Hey you cute bear." Chris crouches down and greets him with a hug. George is just over a year old and in the midst of puberty. He has reached the size of a Labrador and has soft, thick teddy fur. "It's too bad you guys are taking him. I still would have loved to watch him, too." Chris notes.
"Oh believe me, you'll be busy enough with Ruby." Is it Bonnie who just comes walking up to the door with the little one, laughing.
"There's my princess." Street adores the black haired girl and as soon as she sees him she reaches out her little arms for him.
"Ok darling, I think we are now written off with our daughter and can go." Tan rolls his eyes playfully after saying that and all four of them have to laugh.
"I also can't help it that all the women are into me. Must be my irresistible charm." He winks at Chris and goes inside with Ruby. Immediately he sits her down on the floor and starts playing with her.
"Actually, I might as well go, he won't miss me." Chris remarks and again everyone laughs. "Have a great day, enjoy it."
"Thank you so much. We'll be back around 8 tonight at the latest." The young couple grabs George and they are off. A nice hike is planned and Tan still wants to surprise Bonnie with a romantic picnic.
"Look how well she can grab already and her little feet are so cute. I could really eat her." He talks away while playing with Ruby's feet. He pretends to take a bite and the little girl gurgles and giggles to no end.
"You two are really cute together. I could watch you guys for hours." Chris has joined the two on the floor and Ruby looks at them with her big blue eyes. "Well sweetie, do you like what Uncle Jim is doing to you." She takes one of the little girl's hands and kisses her little fingers.
The day goes by without a hitch, and you'd think Chris and Street had never done anything but babysit a little kid.
By 7 pm, Ruby is finally asleep and the two settle down on the sofa, a little exhausted.
"What a day." Street puts his arm around his girlfriend and kisses the top of her head.
"Oh yeah, beautiful, yet exhausting." She admits and giggles. "You're just great with kids Street." She looks at him lovingly and wraps her arms around his torso to snuggle even closer.
"You're not bad yourself, though. Someday I'd like to have a little family like that with you too Chris." He says honestly and at the same moment is a bit scared because of her reaction. Briefly Chris looks at him shocked, but a second later a smirk settles on her lips.
"I couldn't imagine it with anyone better than with you you. I love you." Street is visibly moved by her words and leans down to kiss her deeply.
"And I love you my dream girl."
