From the Medical Reports of Master Rig Nema and Master Vokara Che

Master Mundi was brought to us late last night, in a state I can only describe as horrific. Multiple lacerations, severe blood loss, multiple penetrative wounds in his left thigh and right shoulder, a missing left index finger. He required our immediate attention. Between Master Nema and myself, we placed him in a healing trance and then placed him into a bacta tank for overnight monitoring. I am deeply shocked by the extent of his injuries, and I have no idea where he was or what he was doing. What I find far more worrisome is that he could've been killed, he's lucky to have returned when he did.

It has been a long night filled with unchecked worries, but I believe the worst is behind us now. Master Mundi has been stabilized, his vitals are returning to normal and the bacta is at work on his more egregious wounds. Heartrate is normal, REM activity is normal, everything indicates his body is on the mend, which is truly a relief. However, I will give my due diligence and ensure he is well for the rest of the night, hopefully he will be coherent enough to provide us with some answers in the morning. I for one wish to know how he acquired such wounds. The missing finger well definitely require a cybernetic replacement if he so chooses. Hopefully his wives will be accepting of it.

From the Personal Memoirs of Jedi Master and High Councillor, Mace Windu

The recent news of Master Mundi's suffering has caused a great deal of restlessness throughout the Order. Ki-Adi Mundi, a brave and immensely skillful Jedi, nearly died. Sleepless nights have plagued a few of us as concerns mount over what happened on Barab. Master Yoda revealed the truth behind what happened to us, and Mundi filled in the rest once he was conscious. Rivi-Anu was a bright spark, a talent Knight whose death is a true tragedy.

While others mourn, I for one have far graver thoughts. Two members of the High Council have had an encounter with this Separatist Wraith in recent weeks. One of them died, the other almost did. His aggressiveness and lethality has been increasing it seems, a far cry from what Master Yoda described to us after his encounter on Rugosa. If this is the case, then I fear for the safety and security of Jedi in future encounters. The Wraith's body count is rising. If we are to protect ourselves as the war proceeds, we must take a more proactive approach to his appearances and the Republic must begin developing suitable countermeasures that, if need be, can be utilized as a permanent solution. I do not like situations were aggression is the only solution… but if it protects the Jedi and the Republic, so be it.
