"Nute Gunray, Viceroy of the Trade Federation, has been captured in a daring raid conducted by Naboo Senator Padme Amidala during negotiations on Rodia with Senator Onaconda Farr. The office of the Supreme Chancellor recently released this information to the public, promising that Viceroy Gunray is indeed a prisoner of the Galactic Republic and Chancellor Palpatine himself intends to, quote "bring an enabler of war crimes to justice".

"A special Republic task force, led by Jedi General Luminara Unduli and comprised of the Forty-First Elite Corps and a division of the Senate Commandos, has taken custody of the Viceroy and is bringing him from Rodia to Coruscant to face court martial before a military tribunal.
