The episode opened with a shot of the island. "Last time, on Total Drama: Crossover Island...We revisited a challenge from Total Drama Island where the teams had to split into two groups consisting of deer and hunters. The hunters' goal was to hunt down all of the deer on the opposing team, whereas the goal of the deer was to avoid being shot with the hunters' paintball guns. Steve took charge of the deer on the Cold Carcasses by teaching them how to act like a real deer and revealed that he had experience living like a deer. This challenge also needlessly proved to be up Sniper's alley, and he lived up to his name by sniping several of the Feisty Forks' deer. In the end though, it was the Feisty Forks who won the challenge because Steve taunted Undyne into catching him and Panchito and Bart teamed up to take down Daisy. At the elimination ceremony, in a shocking twist, it was Sniper who bit the dust thanks to some more scheming from Daisy." Chris gave a recap of last episode's events before the scene cut to him standing on the docks of the island with a replica of F.L.U.D.D., the water backpack from Super Mario Sunshine on his back.
"The Cold Carcasses have fallen behind. Will they be able to make a splashing comeback in today's challenge? Or will the Feisty Forks once again leave them drenched? Which contestant will have to hit the Raft of Shame and head out onto open water by the end of this episode? And can I get any more handsome? Find out on tonight's super soaked episode of Total...Drama...Crossover Island!" Chris finished as he activated the Rocket Nozzle on his F.L.U.D.D. before the show's intro began to play.
Two spotlights rose into the air as a camera popped up from a trashcan and another came out of a bush.
Dear mom and dad, I'm doing fine.
The camera zoomed across the island before going underwater into a lake to find Empoleon swimming there and he smiled and waved at the camera as he did so. The camera then went to the surface of the water to find Candy Kong and Chunky Kong chatting to each other inside of a boat when an eagle suddenly proceeded to snatch Chunky's hat from his head and flew away with it as Chunky and Candy watched in dismay.
You guys are on my mind.
The camera then went towards a nearby mountaintop where Storm was lifting weights with a boulder when the eagle suddenly dropped Chunky's hat onto his face, blinding Storm as he dropped the boulder and the camera zoomed down towards the bottom of the mountaintop, where Tracey and Pearl were sitting in the shade to escape from the heat of the sun when they suddenly looked and screamed and got out of the way as they narrowly avoided being crushed by the boulder and looked at it in shock, their faces quite pale.
You asked me what I wanted to be.
The scene then cut to Steve and Meg petting a rabbit in an open clearing in a forest before smiling at each other before a bear showed up and Steve and Meg ran off with the rabbit resting in Steve's arm. The bear roared before Undyne tackled it to the ground and knocked it out with a blow to the head.
And I think the answer is plain to see.
The scene then cut to Mina sitting on a rock in the forest as she was singing a song to herself when she was suddenly startled by Red Sniper running past, chasing after a coyote that had stolen his hat from him. Mina was speechless at what she just saw but just shrugged it off.
I wanna be famous.
The scene then cut to Manic and Sonia just walking around the island chatting to each other when Sonia fell into a hole covered by a pile of dead leaves as Manic looked down the hole in shock, also being confused at what just happened. The camera then zoomed out to show Bart hiding behind a bush, struggling to contain his laughter.
I wanna live close to the sun.
The scene then cut to Panchito and Jose sitting in a canoe together as said canoe fell down a water, and they screamed but fortunately the waterfall was a short drop and the two birds continued down the river unharmed as they sighed in relief.
Go pack your bags 'cause I already won.
Squidward laughed at Panchito and Jose's little panic attack. Peach was standing next to him, and she shook her head in disapproval at the octopus' crude sense of humor.
Everything to prove, nothing in my way.
The scene then cut to the mess hall tent, where Chef cringed in annoyance as he grabbed a pair of headphones from the meal he was preparing and put them on and he sighed in relief before angrily looking towards Bessie, who was constantly talking to him, and Chef shut her up by stuffing a spoonful of disgusting food into her mouth.
I'll get there one day.
The camera then turned towards Daisy admiring herself with a mirror before looking at the camera angrily and spraying with some hair spray as it went out of the mess hall tent.

The scene then cut to Mona lying on the beach, smiling as she was sunbathing peacefully before being rudely disturbed by Chris dropping a bucket of water over her. Mona screamed and angrily looked up at Chris, who was flying a jetpack above her and laughed.

The camera then turned to Fang the Mutated Shark peeking his head above the sea surface as he grinned and waved at the camera before the camera turned to Danny standing on the docks of the island, doing a little dance as he was listening to music on his cellphone with earpods in before noticing the camera was filming him and he blushed in embarassment before flipping the camera up as it pointed to the sky and the sky changed to nighttime.

The camera then panned down to find Red Sniper lighting a campfire while Panchito tuned his guitar and the other contestants joined them around the campfire. Chris and Chef then walked up to them.
[Whistling] I wanna be, I wanna be famous.
The camera then zoomed out to reveal a sign that read "Total Drama: Crossover Island."
The scene then cut to a shot of Crossover Island before the scene cut to Meg and Steve walking around the island together. "You know, Meg. I'm still surprised about the elimination ceremony the other night. I really thought I'd be a goner after I messed up badly by taunting Undyne into catching me. I wonder what caused the team to choose Sniper for elimination over me? I mean, the guy might have been a mercenary, but he did a really good job with a paintball gun during the challenge. You think he did something that offended the team and caused them to target him?" Steve asked Meg curiously after having mused out loud about the last elimination ceremony.
Meg let out an inquisitive hum as she thought about it. "Well, he did go and hit Peach in the face with a paintball, so maybe the team thought he went too rough on the opposing team and that got him out of the game?" She suggested, trying to cover up her role in Sniper's elimination.
Steve let out an inquisitive hum of his own as he also thought about it and nodded at Meg's response. "That's a good point, Meg. Maybe he was a little too rough on the other team. Sure, we were in a challenge at the time, but you could've still showed some decency and not go and hit a contestant in the face with a paintball." He agreed with Meg's reasoning.
"That's one way to look at it, and one way I definitely agree with you on." Meg nodded as she and Steve continued to walk across the island.

Meg groaned as she rubbed her forehead. "Ugh, I feel really bad about keeping this clique I've got with the other girls on my team hidden from Steve...Sure, the two of us are great friends, and of course I would've voted out anyone else to protect Steve from getting eliminated, but eliminating Sniper when he was a huge help during the last challenge just felt wrong to me, and it left me with a busted feeling in my gut...I just hope that Daisy won't be cooking up any more of these schemes to get people who don't deserve it out of the game...Oh, who am I kidding? Of course she's gonna be doing that..." Meg sighed, sounding bleak.

"In the few days after that last elimination ceremony, I still couldn't believe that I had survived the bottom two and that I was still on the island, but after that talk I had with Meg during our morning walk around the island, it all made sense why I'm still here on the island, and it made me feel grateful to still be here. Meg's a really good friend to me and I'm happy to have her around while we're both in the competition." Steve said with a cheerful smile.

The scene then cut to Sonia and Manic hanging out by the campfire pit. Manic was lounging against Chris' podium while Sonia sat on one of the seats where the contestants sat during elimination ceremonies.
"Sure is a beautiful day today, right, Manic?" Sonia asked her brother with a smile.
"Sure is, sis." Manic agreed with a smile and a nod. "Perfect day fer a challenge. Seein' as it's been 'bout three days since the last challenge, we'll be dropped into 'nother challenge t'day. I hope it'll be a challenge where I can show off my mechanical skills, 'cause I haven't been able t'show that off a whole lot yet since the show started." He replied to his sister.
"Who knows? Maybe you'll be lucky and be able to do just that in today's challenge, Manic. But I'm sure that regardless of what challenge we'll be playing today, you'll be able to show off what you're capable of in at least one aspect or another." Sonia assured her brother, keeping the smile.
"Guess we can only see." Manic nodded again.
-Confessional: Manic-
"I don't have my brother Sonic's speed nor my sister Sonia's strength, so I don't have any superpowers of my own, so I have t'rely on my natural skills such as my mechanical knowledge or my lockpickin' skills. Durin' the days me, Sonia an' Sonic traveled 'round the planet tryin' to stop ol' Buttnik's dictatorship, I was a vital member of the team thanks to my mechanical knowledge an' my other natural skills despite not havin' any superpowers. Goes t'show ya don't need no superpowers t'be a hero." Manic spoke with a prideful smile as he gave a thumbs up at the camera.

"Manic might not have any superpowers, but he sure is a helpful guy. He was like the MacGyver of the team we formed together with our famous brother Sonic, and having a MacGyver on your team never hurts, 'cause you never know when you're gonna need one to get out of a sticky situation. And let me tell you, me, Sonic and Manic have run into plenty of sticky situations in our time." Sonia explained to the camera.

The scene then cut to the mess hall tent, where the teams were having their breakfast. The camera was focused on the Cold Carcasses' table. "Okay, guys. I think it's needless to say, but we're gonna have to give it our all at this next challenge, even if we have to drop dead. We've had to endure two losses in a row, and I wasn't planning on enduring any more of them." Daisy told her teammates.
"Girl, I don't think any of us were planning on enduring any more losses, but I do agree with you that we're gonna have to step up our game if we want to stand a chance against the Feisty Forks in the next challenge." Candy agreed with Daisy.
"Yeah, but before we start getting our hopes up and believe we'll be winning today's challenge, we'll have to wait and see what today's challenge is gonna be." Mona pointed out.
"Mona's right. Based on what today's challenge is gonna be, we'll start considering our chances of winning the challenge, and then we're gonna give it our all at said challenge and hope to the divine beings that we'll be the ones taking home the win tonight." Danny chimed in.
"Alright, then that's decided. Let's look at the challenge, consider our chances of winning, and then put on an amazing performance during the challenge that will be able to help us break our pathetic losing streak against those Forks." Daisy concluded as the Cold Carcasses continued eating.
The camera then panned over to the Feisty Forks' table. "Woo-wee, guys! We've been on a roll with the challenged lately! We've won two of 'em in a row, and if we're lucky, we're gonna be winning another one today! Who's with me?!" Undyne cheered as she raised her right fist into the air.
"Look, I understand that we're all happy that we've won two challenges in a row, but we shouldn't get overconfident in our abilities in challenges. That could lead to karmic justice and cause us to potentially lose a challenge and potentially lose every challenge that follows." Peach pointed out.
Chunky nodded in agreement with Peach's statement. "Peach is right. Just because we've been lucky winning a few challenges doesn't mean we should be acting like big brash a-holes about it." The brawny gorilla voiced his opinions on the matter.
Bart shrugged. "Meh, we'll just have to wait and see what the next challenge is gonna be before we can get an idea of if we'll be winning this thing or not." He chimed in.
"Good point, Bart! Whatever today's challenge is gonna be, I'm sure we'll be crushing regardless of our chances of winning it!" Undyne spoke with a prideful grin.
As the contestants continued to eat and chat among themselves, they would suddenly hear strange noises from outside the mess hall tent. The contestants curiously looked towards the entrance to the mess hall tent, and saw Chris land in front of it after having gently descended towards the ground using F.L.U.D.D.'s Hover Nozzle.
"Morning, contestants! Let me ask you a question: Do any of you know what this thing on my back is?" Chris asked the contestants as he showed off the F.L.U.D.D. on his back.
"I know what that is! Mario used that to clean Isle Delfino from top to bottom! It's called a F.L.U.D.D., a Flash Liquidizing Ultra Dousing Device!" Peach spoke with an excited smile.
Chris grinned and shot Peach a pair of finger guns. "Exact-o-mundo, Peach! Today's episode of Total Drama: Crossover Island is sponsored by Gadd Science Incorporated, and that company is known for having created these F.L.U.D.D. things!" He explained to the contestants.
Chef smiled and nodded in agreement from his kitchen window. "Damn right! The company was founded by Professor Elvin Gadd, or E. Gadd for short. Mr. Gadd is also known for creating the different models of the ghostbusting equipment known as the Poltergust, and he supposedly also created a magic paintbrush that some little kid used to pollute Isle Delfino, which as Peach said, some short fat dude named Mario had to clean from top to bottom." He explained to the contestants.
"Follow me outside, and I'll explain more about today's challenge." Chris informed the contestants as they all dropped off their plates at Chef's kitchen window before following Chris to the challenge grounds.
The scene then cut to Chris and the contestants at the challenge grounds. "As you could all guess by me making my entrance using this F.L.U.D.D. puppy, you'll be using replicas of this machine in today's challenge! We've had Gadd Science Incorporated make different models of the F.L.U.D.D. to fit your body sizes and shapes, so you shouldn't have to worry about these things not fitting on your back or being able to hold your body weight!" Chris began to explain as the contestants looked at each other before looking back at Chris.
"Here's the deal...Your goal for this challenge is to go through this obstacle course we've set up using your own personalized F.L.U.D.D. machines. Each F.L.U.D.D. Machine comes with four different nozzles; A Squirt Nozzle, which is the basic nozzle that you can use to spray water all around. There's also the Hover Nozzle, which allows you to hover in the air for a few seconds and slowly gain altitude as you do so. There's also the Rocket Nozzle, which allows you to blast upward on a pressurized stream of water after you've charged it for a few seconds. Finally, there's the Turbo Nozzle, which allows you to move quickly across land or water. Keep in mind that you've got a limited water supply on your F.L.U.D.D. machines, so you'll have to occasionally stop to refill your supply along the way as you move through the obstacle course. The first team to cross the finish line in its entirety wins the challenge and won't have to send someone home tonight, and we'll also have a reward waiting for them." Chris informed the contestants.

"I've seen Mario use his own F.L.U.D.D. plenty of times while we were on vacation to Isle Delfino together. Based on the way Mario used, it should be easy enough to use it myself." Peach spoke with a confident smile.

The scene then cut to the two teams at the starting line for the challenge, and they had all gotten suited up in their F.L.U.D.D. machines. "Alright, let's get this challenge started! Feisty Forks, are you ready?" Chris asked the Feisty Forks.
"Yeah!" The Feisty Forks replied in unison.
"Cold Carcasses, are you ready?" Chris asked the Cold Carcasses.
"Yeah!" The Cold Carcasses replied in unison.
"Alright, ready, set, GOOOO!" Chris exclaimed as the teams rushed forward to try and gain a lead on each other. Fortunately, Chris had given each contestant a tutorial on how to use their F.L.U.D.D. before they started the challenge, so it was easier for each contestant to use it.
Sonia and Manic were quick to gain a lead for the Feisty Forks, even if they weren't the fastest members of the team and had their F.L.U.D.D. machines on their backs. "Man, it really helps that Mobians like us are faster than the average human, doesn't it, Manic?" Sonia asked her green furred brother with a smile.
Manic smiled and nodded in agreement. "Ya know it, Sonia! If we're lucky, we should be able t'bring home the money fer our team in this challenge!" He replied to his purple furred sister before Undyne quickly passed by them.
"I wouldn't count on it, guys! With those stubby legs of yours, you won't be able to keep up with me!" Undyne chuckled as she began to make her way through the obstacle course using both her F.L.U.D.D. machine and her own agility.
Sonia and Manic looked at Undyne and then at each other. "Ah well, I'm sure we won't be passed up by everyone on this team, right?" Sonia asked Manic before Bart quickly sped by using his Turbo Nozzle.
"See you at the finish, guys!" Bart laughed as he sped by.
"Bart's speed was just enhanced by his stupid F.L.U.D.D. Doohickey. None of the other folks on our team can go faster than us naturally, right?" Manic then asked.
"Sorry, amigos! I need to get to the finish line!" Panchito told the hedgehog siblings as he passed by them.
Sonia and Manic were silent for a moment. "I think it's better if we keep our big mouths shut for now, Manic. Or else we could be left embarrassed." Sonia told her brother, who nodded in agreement.
"I hear ya." Manic replied as the two went quiet and began to focus on the challenge.
-Confessional: Manic-
"Hoo, doggy. That was embarrassin'. Bein' passed up by most of our team members while Mobians like ourselves are faster than the average human. Guess we really underestimated our fellow contestants' runnin' speed."

The Cold Carcasses were doing their best to catch up to the Feisty Forks in the meantime. "Come on, guys! We're falling behind! We can't let those Forks win a third time in a row! We really gotta step this up!" Daisy told her teammates.
"We're going as fast as we can, Daisy. It's not easy to run through an obstacle course while having these things on our back and constantly having to switch nozzles and occasionally stop to refill our water tanks." Mona told her teammate in response as she used her Squirt Nozzle to open a door in the obstacle course and allow her teammates to go through it before heading through it herself.
"She's got a point, Daisy. We have to focus on multiple things at once during this challenge, so we can't go any faster than this." Candy chimed in as she used her Hover Nozzle to make her way up a platform, with the rest of the Cold Carcasses following behind.
"I'll do my best to keep that in mind, but don't blame me if we lose the challenge for the third time in a row when I've been doing my best to encourage you all to do your best at the challenge!" Daisy replied as Candy rolled her eyes.
-Confessional: Candy-
"Daisy really thinks that she's the glue that's holding the Cold Carcasses together and the sole source of motivation that keeps the team's challenge drive running. Lemme tell you, I just can't stand cocky people like her." Candy told the camera with a scowl on her face.

At the back of the pack was Chunky, who was both the biggest and slowest contestant of the whole cast. "Man, I wish I was more quick and nimble like my cousin Tiny Kong at times like these..." Chunky sighed as he made his way through the obstacle course. He soon caught up to Peach, who was also not the fastest contestant of the cast.
"Oh, hello, Chunky. How are you holding up for this challenge?" Peach asked the muscular gorilla with a smile.
"Could be doing better, Peach. I'm not the fastest contestant left in the game, and I'm afraid I might cost my team the win in this challenge because of that." Chunky replied with a worried look on his face.
Peach frowned at that. "Don't worry about it, Chunky. You might not be the fastest contestant left in the game, but you're definitely the strongest contestant left in the game. Don't focus on your shortcomings. Instead, focus on your gifts." She told Chunky with a reassuring smile.
Chunky smiled back at Peach after hearing those kind words. "Thanks, Peach. I'll do the very best I can to do so." He replied to the blond haired princess as they continued making their way through the obstacle course together.
Meanwhile, Danny had just refilled his F.L.U.D.D.'s water tank and took off running once again. "Man, I really hope this dang challenge won't last too much longer, because I'm sweating like a pig with this thing on my back..." Danny grunted as he struggled to run through the obstacle course with his F.L.U.D.D. on his back before switching to the Turbo Nozzle and speeding forward past the other contestants, with more of the Cold Carcasses also switching to the Turbo Nozzle to try and get through the obstacle course faster.
"We're getting there, amigos! If we keep this up, we might just be able to cross the finish line before the Feisty Forks do!" José squawked happily as he switched to the Hover Nozzle on his F.L.U.D.D. and began to propel upward towards a high platform before continuing on his way.
Meanwhile, the Feisty Forks were also doing the very best they could to clear out the obstacle course, but even with the usage of the Turbo Nozzle on their F.L.U.D.D. machines, Chunky and Peach still couldn't keep up with their team that well.
Chunky was wheezing as he ran through the obstacle course while switching between the various Nozzles on his F.L.U.D.D. machine. "Huff...I don't think...I can take much more of this...I might be built for heavy lifting, but I'm not built for running..." Chunky wheezed once more before collapsing.
Sonia, Manic and Peach stopped in their tracks as they noticed Chunky having collapsed. "Man down! Ol' Chunky's takin' a dirt nap!" Manic exclaimed.
Peach crouched down in front of Chunky and felt his forehead. "Poor Chunky is overheated from all the running he's had to do with that heavy F.L.U.D.D. on his back...Let's all use our Squirt Nozzles and try to cool him off." She told Sonia and Manic.
"You got it, Peach. Let's give him a refreshing shower." Sonia smiled and nodded as she, Manic and Peach began to use their Squirt Nozzles on Chunky to cool him off. Before long, Chunky began to open his eyes and looked at his three teammates before him.
"Hoo...Ha...Did you guys just save me by giving me a cold shower...?" Chunky asked his teammates with a relieved smile on his face.
Sonia, Manic and Peach smiled and nodded. "Yeah, man. We did. We just couldn't leave ya lyin' 'round in the hot sun like that. We just had t'give ya a cold shower t'cool off, y'know?" Manic told his teammate with a smile.
"Yeah. Now let's get going and make our way over that finish line." Sonia chimed in as Chunky got back up and the four of them began to make their way through the obstacle course once more.

"Man, I'm glad to have such supportive teammates during tough challenges like this...I honestly feel like such a liability with my poor running skill in challenges like this, but my teammates don't seem to mind...I know that at least Sonia, Manic and Peach have my back in challenges like this, and as for the rest of my team...It remains to be seen..."

"We just couldn't leave poor ol' Chunky passed out in the hot sun like that. We just had t'give him an ice cold shower t'cool him off an' get 'im back on 'is feet. It's my duty as a hero of Mobius, y'know?"

Meanwhile, the Cold Carcasses were making great progress in getting through the obstacle course. They had gotten to an obstacle that required the usage of the Rocket Nozzle. The Carcasses looked up at the obstacle in their way.
"So, who's gonna be using their Rocket Nozzle to blast their way through this obstacle?" Mona asked her teammates.
"Guys, we don't have time to debate this. One of us just has to use their Rocket Nozzle and blast through that obstacle before the Feisty Forks catch up to us and blast through that obstacle first." Daisy told her teammates.
"I'll do it. I wanna make things up to you guys for letting myself get caught by Undyne in the last challenge." Steve immediately offered, raising his hand.
"There we go! Steve is stepping up to the plate, and willing to contribute to the team for the challenge! Now let's get that obstacle out of our way!" Daisy clapped her hands as the Cold Carcasses made room for Steve to blast his way through the obstacle.
"3...2...1...Lauuuunch!" Steve shouted as he shot up using his Rocket Nozzle and broke through the obstacle, and proceeded to land on a nearby platform. The rest of the Cold Carcasses also proceeded to use their Rocket Nozzles to blast their way up to the platform and then together with Steve, they continued on through the obstacle course.
"Nice going, Steve! You're really proving your worth to the team!" Daisy complimented Steve.
"Thanks, Daisy! I do the very best I can to contribute to the team in any challenge we play!" Steve beamed at the compliments he received from his team leader.
"Don't mention it." Daisy smiled back.
-Confessional: Daisy-
"Don't get me wrong, I still view Steve as a liability for letting himself get caught by Undyne during the last challenge and his obnoxious cheerful nature makes me want to cringe at times, but I'm keeping him around because he seems like the easily manipulated type of person, and in a game like Total Drama, that can come in handy if you're playing the villainous game like I am. As a villain, you need plenty of allies, and Steve seems like a very useful ally despite his shortcomings. But once he outlives his usefulness to me, it's curtains for him."

Meanwhile, the faster members of the Feisty Forks such as Undyne, Panchito and Bart were doing the very best they could to finish the obstacle course as fast as they could, but Panchito couldn't help but notice that the rest of his team was falling behind.
"Uh, amigos, not to alarm you, but the rest of our team is way behind on us. Shouldn't we give them some time to catch up to us since we're supposed to cross the finish line as an entire team?" Panchito asked Undyne and Bart.
Undyne shrugged. "Eh, no big deal. If we reach the finish line first, we'll just cheer on our teammates and hope they get to the finish line before the other team does." The fish like monster replied, being indifferent to the rest of her team falling behind.
"Yeah. And besides, if they don't cross the finish line before the Carcasses do, that'll only make it easier for us to decide on who to vote off and send home at the campfire tonight. So we'll be fine." Bart chimed in.
"Alright, if you guys say so..." Panchito said, not feeling at ease with Undyne and Bart's attitude towards their team members' situation.
Meanwhile, Chunky, Sonia, Manic and Peach were doing the very best they could to catch up to the rest of their team as they cleared out the obstacles in the obstacle course. "The obstacle course shouldn't take much longer. I think I can see the finish line approaching." Sonia said, pointing at the finish line of the obstacle course in the distance.
"That's good news! That means we're getting to closer to finding out who's gonna be winning this challenge!" Peach beamed as the Feisty Forks continued moving through the obstacle course.
"Y-Yeah...I just hope that we'll be the ones crossing the finish line so that we won't have to vote someone off at the campfire tonight..." Chunky said with a concerned look on his face.
"Eh, don't worry your buttocks 'bout it, Chunky. If we do lose the challenge, we'll take our losses an' select the person we think performed the worst durin' the challenge t'day. I'm sure they'll understand why the choice had t'be made an' go home with their head an' shoulders high, knowin' they managed t'outlast eight other contestants. That's already an achievement on this show in my eyes." Manic assured Chunky with a smile.
"Manic's right, Chunky. If we do lose the challenge and we have to vote someone off tonight, the person voted off might not have achieved winning the season and the million dollar prize, but at least they have achieved outlasting eight other contestants. So I'm sure there won't be any hard feelings towards the vote." Sonia chimed in with a smile of her own.
"Alright, if you guys say so, then I'll take your word for it..." Chunky nodded shyly as he continued making his way through the obstacle course together with Sonia, Manic and Peach.
Meanwhile, the Cold Carcasses had cleared out some of the last obstacles and were on a right path to the finish line. "Alright, this is it, guys! Let's cross that finish line and wrap up this challenge!" Mona told her teammates as they began rushing towards the finish line, but then Undyne, Panchito and Bart proceeded to rush past them and crossed the finish line.
"And Undyne, Panchito and Bart are the first to cross the finish line for the Feisty Forks! If the rest of the Feisty Forks can cross the finish line before the Cold Carcasses do, the Feisty Forks will win their third challenge in a row! But I doubt that's gonna be the case, 'cause here come the Cold Carcasses!" Chris announced as the Cold Carcasses proceeded to cross the finish line in their entirety.
"And that's the challenge! The Cold Carcasses win!" Chris announced as the Cold Carcasses cheered for their victory. Chunky, Sonia, Manic and Peach proceeded to show up and groaned in dismay as they saw that their team had lost the challenge.
"Shoot...We lost..." Chunky whimpered.
Peach gave him a pat on the back. "Don't beat yourself up about it, Chunky. At least we did the very best we could to try and win this challenge, and that's what counts." The blond haired princess told the muscular Kong with a reassuring smile.
"Peach is right. At least we tried, and that's all that matters." Sonia chimed in with a reassuring smile of her own.
"Yeah. So cheer up an' give us a grin." Manic replied with a grin. Chunky proceeded to give his teammates a grin in response. "There ya are! Even if we lose a challenge, we always gotta look on the bright side of life, y'hear?" Manic then told Chunky, who smiled and nodded.
The scene then cut to Chris giving the teams a debrief. "Congratulations, Cold Carcasses, for breaking your losing streak against the Feisty Forks! You have immunity, which means that you won't have to go to tonight's elimination ceremony and vote someone off!" Chris announced as the Cold Carcasses cheered in victory once more.
"And to make your victory even sweeter, we've also got a reward for you: You get to use the hot tub from Total Drama Island tonight for another hot tub party!" Chris added as the Cold Carcasses cheered once more.
The Feisty Forks hung their heads in shame as they knew they had to go to the elimination ceremony and vote someone off. "Feisty Forks, unfortunately, that also means that you lost the challenge and that you'll have to send someone home tonight. I'll be seeing your sorry butts at the elimination ceremony, and I hope you've managed to select your best loser by then." Chris told the Feisty Forks.
The scene then cut to the Cold Carcasses enjoying their hot tub party at night. Meg, Steve, Daisy, Candy and Danny were in the hot tub together in their swimwear. "Aaaah, this is the life...I'm really glad we've managed to pull through and win the challenge for a change..." Daisy sighed happily as she relaxed in the hot tub, her hands behind her head.
"You can say that again...This hot tub is so soothing...The Screaming Gophers were really lucky they got to use this during their time on Total Drama Island..." Danny agreed as he also relaxed in the hot tub.
"Yeah, let's just forget about anything else going on on this island right now and just relax in this hot tub all night long." Meg suggested with a smile as the Cold Carcasses began to relax in the hot tub together.
The scene then cut to the elimination ceremony, where the Feisty Forks were due to send someone home. "Feisty Forks, you've been through the process of the elimination ceremony a couple of times before, but I'll still explain the process regardless. You've all cast your votes and made your decision. I've only got six marshmallows on this plate. When I call your name, I will throw you a marshmallow to signify that you are safe and get to spend another three days in the competition. If you don't receive a marshmallow, you're far past screwed, because then you have to immediately make your way down to the Raft of Shame, step inside and leave the island. Which means you're out of the contest. And you can't come back. Ever." Chris did his usual intro monologue for the elimination ceremony.
"Those safe with no votes tonight are...

And Peach." Chris continued as he tossed the contestants he just mentioned a marshmallow, signifying their safety. It was now between Chunky and Manic in the bottom two, and Sonia couldn't help but be worried for her brother.
"Chunky, you're on the chopping block for your terrible running skills, and Manic, you're on the chopping block for not being the fastest runner on your team either." Chris told the two boys in the bottom two, and they were both nervous.

...Manic." Chris finished as he threw Chunky his marshmallow, which the muscular Kong ate with regret.
"What?!" Manic asked in shock.
"No, this can't be right! Chris, please do a recount!" Sonia begged the raven haired host.
"If you really want to know, it was a 5-2 vote, and Manic received five votes, which means he's the one heading home tonight. I'm really sorry, Sonia, but I'm afraid you're gonna have to say goodbye to your brother." Chris told the purple hedgehog with a frown.
Manic placed his hands on his sister's shoulders. "Sonia, look...It's gonna be alright, y'hear me? I'll be cheerin' ya on from back home. Ya shouldn't let my elimination t'night bring ya down, y'hear? Ya should use it as motivation t'try an' win this whole thing fer me. Can ya do that fer me?" He asked his sister.
Sonia listened to her brother's words and nodded. "I'll do the very best I can to win this thing for you, Manic. You have my word." She told her brother with a reassuring smile.
Manic smiled back at her. "Good. Then I'm satisfied." He said as he got from his seat. "Guys, it's been a real pleasure hangin' with ya fer the past somethin' weeks. Good luck." The green furred hedgehog said as he walked over to the Raft of Shame, got inside and started paddling onto open water while the raft dispenser popped out a new Raft of Shame.

Bart flashed a sly smirk at the camera. "I knew from the moment I saw those two hedgehog siblings show up on the first day that they were gonna be trouble later down the line, so I knew I was gonna have to separate them sooner or later. I was able to get Panchito, Peach, Undyne and even Chunky to vote alongside me, even if Chunky was rather reluctant about the matter." The young boy spoke as he revealed to have been behind Manic's elimination.

"I'm gonna do the very best I can to try and win this thing for Manic and avenge his elimination! He's got my word as his flesh and blood sister!" Sonia spoke with a determined look on her face.

The scene then cut to Chris standing at his podium at the elimination ceremony area, the fire illuminating his face. "And with that, the siblings have been separated! Will Sonia be able to keep her promise to Manic and win this whole season for him? Or will she fall at the hands of other contestants like Manic before her? Find out as we move forward into the competition, on Total...Drama...Crossover Island!" Chris finished as the episode ended.

And that's a wrap on Episode 10 of Total Drama: Crossover Island! We've reached the double digits for the episode numbers! In this episode, we bid Manic goodbye as him and Sonia are separated! I've always found the concept of best friends or siblings being separated from each other during the competition and seeing how one carries on without the other in Total Drama very interesting, and I'm very excited to try and write that concept with Sonia trying to carry on without her brother in the competition!
