On the Night Of Eternal Darkness, Spyro must prevent Gaul, The Ape King, from resurrecting the Dark Master. I do not own the Legend Of Spyro series. I only own my OCs. Whirlwind fulfill Cynder’s role in this story (Ronald x Cynder, Ignitus x Aquafa, Terrador x Minerallayas, Liefvos x Siltia). Please do not read this until you read The Legend Of Spyro: A Shining New Beginning.

86. Chapter 86

Gaul fell on the ground.

"You seven did a stupendous job. But… But… But…" Gaul said.

Then Gaul got back up and Spyro, Whirlwind, Ronald, Cynder, Sunburn, Camo, and Zap were shocked.

"But you haven't accomplished your mission yet!" Gaul said.

Then Gau attacked Spyro, Whirlwind, Ronald, Cynder, Sunburn, Camo, and Zap with his staff, sending Spyro, Whirlwind, Ronald, Cynder, Sunburn, Camo, and Zap in the air and then landing in the middle of the first half of the Throne Arena.

Then Spyro, Whirlwind, Ronald, Cynder, Sunburn, Camo, and Zap stood up.

"Augh." Whirlwind said.

"Humph. So foolhardy. You dared to challenge me?! For all the effort in the world to change Whirlwind's fate…with your puny power, you have no chance of winning from the start!" Gaul said.

"Ugh. Gaul is truly tough." Whirlwind said.

"Don't give up! There's still a way out of this!" Spyro said.

"That's still easy for you to say, but you're right. But what can we do? We're in big trouble…" Whirlwind said.

"Let me think." Spyro said.

"Humph. You've done admirably well for those as pitiful as the seven of you, but it's all over now. And this time, I will kill you all, starting with you, Zap!" Gaul said.

Then Gaul attacked Zap with his staff but Ronald intervened and shielded Zap and then Ronald fell on the ground.

"So you shielded Zap, Ronald? That's taken a heavy toll on you!" Gaul said.

Then Ronald stood back up.

"Now, this time, I will kill you all, starting with you, Camo!" Gaul said.

Then Gaul attacked Camo with his staff but Ronald intervened and shielded Camo and then Ronald fell on the ground.

"So you shielded Camo, Ronald? That's taken a heavy toll on you!" Gaul said.

Then Ronald stood back up.

"Now, this time, I will kill you all, starting with you, Sunburn!" Gaul said.

Then Gaul attacked Sunburn with his staff but Ronald intervened and shielded Sunburn and then Ronald fell on the ground.

"So, you shielded Sunburn, Ronald? That's taken a heavy toll on you! Now, let's see what will happen if your girlfriend is in danger!" Gaul said.

Then Ronald stood back up.

"And this time, I will kill you all, starting with you, Cynder!" Gaul said.

Then Gaul attacked Cynder but intervened and shielded Cynder which sent Ronald flying and hitting the wall and then landing on the ground.

"So you shielded Cynder, Ronald? That's taken a heavy toll on you! Your death will make you regret coming here!" Gaul said.

"Oh no! Not my handsome Ronald!" Cynder said.

Then Cynder flew to Ronald.

"Ronald, are you okay?" Cynder asked.

Ronald didn't respond.

"No, he can't be dead… No, he can't be dead… No, he is dead" Cynder said, sobbing.

"Cynder, feel his heart!" Whirlwind exclaimed.

Then Cynder put her right claw on Ronald and felt that his heart was still pumping.

"His heart is still pumping… I can feel it… this means, he isn't dead. He's still alive! My boyfriend is still alive!" Cynder said, sobbing with joy.

"You see, Cynder, Ronald isn't dead! He's still alive but just unconscious." Whirlwind said.

"Thanks, Whirlwind." Cynder said.

"You're welcome, Cynder." Whirlwind said.

Then Cynder stopped sobbing with joy.

Spyro, Sunburn, Camo, and Zap were still frozen in shock. Ronald got unconscious because shielding his friends and girlfriend.

"Whoa! Ronald shielded Zap, Camo, and Sunburn and then shielded Cynder. Ronald is not just loyal to his girlfriend, Cynder, he is also loyal to his friends. This is another reason why Cynder loves Ronald because of his loyalty to his friends and to her." Spyro said.

Then Spyro became unfrozen from his shock.

"Is his loyalty another reason why you love Ronald, Cynder?" Spyro asked.

"Yes, his loyalty is another reason why I love Ronald, Spyro." Cynder answered.

"Ronald is nice, kind, gentle, brave, smart, and loyal, which are all the reasons why I love him." Cynder said.

"Then you have made a perfect choice for choosing him as your boyfriend, Cynder." Spyro said.

"Thanks, Spyro." Cynder said.

"You're welcome, Cynder." Spyro said.

"So, Ronald is unconscious. That should serve him well. Now, I will be able to kill all of you, especially Ronald with him unconscious." Gaul said.

Then Cynder turned around.

"Oh no! Gaul is going to kill my friends if I don't do something. I am going to do something. Ronald is not the only one who is loyal to his friends." Cynder said.

"This time, I will kill you all, starting with you, Zap!" Gaul said.

Then Gaul attacked Zap with his staff but Cynder intervened and shielded Zap and then Cynder fell on the ground.

"So, you shielded Zap, Cynder? That's taken a heavy toll on you!" Gaul said.

Then Cynder stood back up.

"Now, this time, I will kill you all, starting with you, Camo!" Gaul said.

Then Gaul attacked Camo with his staff but Cynder intervened and shielded Camo and then Cynder fell on the ground.

"So, you shielded Camo, Cynder? That's taken a heavy toll on you!" Gaul said.

Then Cynder stood back up.

"Now, I will kill you all, starting with you, Sunburn!" Gaul said.

Then Gaul attacked Sunburn with his staff but Cynder intervened and shielded Sunburn which sent Cynder flying and hitting the wall and then landing on the ground next to Ronald.

"So, you shielded Sunburn, Cynder? That's taken a heavy toll on you! Your death will make you regret coming here!" Gaul said.

Then Sunburn became unfrozen from his shock.

"Is Cynder okay?!" Sunburn asked.

"Yes, she's fine. But you can check for yourself." Whirlwind said.

"Can I also check on Ronald?" Sunburn asked.

"Yes, you can." Whirlwind said.

Then Sunburn flew to Ronald and Cynder.

Then Sunburn put his right claw on Cynder and felt that her heart was still pumping.

"So, her heart is still pumping. Then that means that Cynder is still alive! She's just unconscious." Sunburn said.

Then Sunburn put his right claw on Ronald and felt that his heart was still pumping.

"So, his heart is still pumping. Then that means that Ronald is still alive! Whirlwind was right that Ronald is still alive and is just unconscious." Sunburn said.

"So, Cynder is unconscious. That should serve her well. Now, I will be able to kill all of you, especially Ronald and Cynder with them unconscious." Gaul said.

Then Sunburn turned around.

"Oh no! My friends are going to die if I don't do something! I better do something quick!" Sunburn said.

"This time, I will kill you all, starting with you, Zap!" Gaul said.

Then Gaul attacked Zap with his staff but Sunburn intervened and shielded Zap and then Sunburn fell on the ground.

"So, you shielded Zap, Sunburn? That's taken a heavy toll on you!" Gaul said.

Then Sunburn stood back up.

"Now, this time, I will kill you all, starting with you, Camo!" Gaul said.

Then Gaul attacked Camo with his staff but Sunburn intervened and shielded Camo which sent Sunburn flying and hitting the wall and then landing on the ground.

"So, you shielded Camo, Sunburn? That's taken a heavy toll on you! Your death will make you regret coming here!" Gaul said.

Then Camo became unfrozen from his shock.

"Is Sunburn okay?!" Camo asked.

"Yes, he's fine. But you can check for yourself." Whirlwind said.

"Can I also check on Ronald and Cynder?" Camo asked.

"Yes, you can." Whirlwind said.

Then Camo flew to Ronald, Cynder, and Sunburn.

Then Camo put his right claw on Sunburn and felt that his heart was still pumping.

"So, his heart is still pumping. Then that means that Sunburn is still alive! He's just unconscious." Camo said.

Then Camo put his right claw on Cynder and felt that her heart was still pumping.

"So, her heart is still pumping. Then that means that Cynder is still alive! She's just unconscious." Camo said.

Then Camo put his right claw on Ronald and felt that his heart was still pumping.

"So, his heart is still pumping. Then that means that Ronald is still alive! Whirlwind was right that Ronald is still alive and is just unconscious." Camo said.

"So, Sunburn is unconscious. That should serve him well. Now, I will be able to kill all of you, especially with Ronald, Cynder, and Sunburn unconscious." Gaul said.

Then Camo turned around.

"Oh no! My friends are going to die if I don't do something. I better do something fast!" Camo said.

"This time, I will kill you all, starting with you, Zap!" Gaul said.

Then Gaul attacked Zap with his staff but Camo intervened and shielded Zap which sent Camo flying and hitting the wall and then landing on the ground next to Sunburn.

Then Zap became unfrozen from his shock.

"Is Camo okay?" Zap asked.

"Yes, he's fine. But you can check for yourself." Whirlwind said.

Then Zap flew to Ronald, Cynder, Sunburn, and Camo.

Then Zap put his right claw on Camo and felt that his heart was still pumping.

"So, his heart is still pumping. Then that means that Camo is still alive! He's just unconscious." Zap said.

Then Zap put his right claw on Sunburn and felt that his heart was still pumping.

"So, his heart is still pumping. Then that means that Sunburn is still alive! He's just unconscious." Zap said.

Then Zap put his right claw on Cynder and felt that her heart was still pumping.

"So, her heart is still pumping. Then that means that Cynder is still alive! She's just unconscious." Zap said.

Then Zap put his right claw on Ronald and felt that his heart was still pumping.

"So, his heart is still pumping. Then that means that Ronald is still alive! Whirlwind was right that Ronald is still alive and is just unconscious." Zap said.

"So, Camo is unconscious. That should serve him well. Now, I will be able to kill all of you, especially with Ronald, Cynder, Sunburn, and Camo unconscious." Gaul said.

Then Zap turned around.

"Oh no! My friends are going to die if I don't do something. I better hurry up and do something!" Zap said.

"This time, I will kill you all, starting with you, Spyro!" Gaul said.

Then Gaul attacked Spyro with his staff but Zap intervened and shielded Spyro which sent Zap flying and hitting the wall and then landing on the ground.

"So, you shielded Spyro, Zap? That's taken a heavy toll on you! Your death will make you regret coming here!" Gaul said.

"Is Zap okay?!" Spyro asked.

"Yes, he's fine. But you can check for yourself if you want to. And you can check the others as well." Whirlwind said.

Then Sparx flew to Spyro and Whirlwind.

"Don't worry, Spyro, I will check for you." Sparx said.

Then Sparx flew to Zap.

Then Sparx put his right hand on Zap and felt that his heart was still pumping.

Then Sparx flew to Camo.

Then Sparx put his right hand on Camo and felt that his heart was still pumping.

Then Sparx flew to Sunburn.

Then Sparx put his right hand on Sunburn and felt that his heart was still pumping.

Then Sparx flew to Cynder.

Then Sparx put his right hand on Cynder and felt that his heart was still pumping.

Then Sparx flew to Ronald.

Then Sparx put his right hand on Ronald and felt that his heart was still pumping.

Then Sparx turned around.

"Good news, Spyro! Ronald, Cynder, Sunburn, Camo, and Zap are still alive but just unconscious." Sparx said.

"That's a load off my mind." Spyro said.

"So, Zap is unconscious. That should serve him well. Now, I will be able to kill all of you, especially with Ronald, Cynder, Sunburn, Camo, and Zap unconscious." Gaul said.

"How is Spyro supposed to survive without his real five friends?" Sparx asked.

"This time, I will kill you all, starting with you, Spyro!" Gaul said.

Then Gaul attacked Spyro but Whirlwind intervened and shielded Spyro which sent Whirlwind flying and hitting the right wall and then landing on the ground.

Spyro was shocked that Whirlwind was down and became worried for her.

"So, you shielded Spyro, Whirlwind? That's taken a heavy toll on you! Your death will make you regret betraying the Dark Master!" Gaul said.

"Sparx, can you check on Whirlwind?" Spyro asked.

Sparx hesitated but flew to Whirlwind anyway.

Then Sparx put his right hand on Whirlwind and felt that her heart was still pumping.

Then Sparx turned around.

"Good news, Spyro! Whirlwind is still alive but unconscious!" Sparx said.

"That's good to know. Thanks for the info, Sparx." Spyro said.

Then Spyro looked at Gaul.

"So, Whirlwind is unconscious. That should serve her well. Now, I will be able to kill you and your friends, especially with them unconcious." Gaul said.

"You would pay for what you did my friends, Gaul, especially Whirlwind because I intend to make sure that my greatest fear won't happen and I will change Whirlwind's fate." Spyro said.

"Hahahahaha! So, you still think that you stand a chance against me? Well, then now it's time to get serious." Gaul said.

Then Gaul put his staff on the ground.

Then Gaul took out his two swords and then roared.

Then Spyro made his angry face and got in his fighting stance.
