Zeon Paralysis Crystal (Ch. 20 – 26): Alexis is now in the new phase of getting attention from Jaden, time to chill on Ha-Retard-ATON. Cat Dee is the BEST Neko girl, and she's able to do it in her free will (her magic is amazing ). It's not like Tarzan had his soul on his cards, all he had was following the 'rules of Nature' (it doesn't end so well, if you're matching against Heroes :P). Syrus, for the first time, tagging along with Ebon was AMAZING for me too, I kinda felt amazed for myself. If you're talking about their fan-made cards, I don't make them too many, since their deck is mostly focused on the cards they actually use, sorry :P. Jaden vs Blair was kind of a cringe duel, either here on the cannon anime, so I don't know how this would end with any love joke or a 'Man Eater's music reference. And the Big Duel Off for the representative duelist of school commence; Ryuga and Syrus will have some chores to settle :P
Zeon Paralysis Crystal (Ch. 27 – 33): Jaden and Bastion duel was intense, smarts vs skills. And this proves that any and every tiniest monster has it's own value; Shinkro Shokan OjouSa-Magician Girl. Belowsky is such a misterious kid, a genius who ended up meeting with a cute doll that is also a lovely spirit; anything is possible. Syrus vs Jaden is and will be one of my best duels ever written in my opinion, so closed that they are even in the hard times of decision. It's weird for a Human and Alucard becoming friends this soon; however this is not a Castlevania reference ;). Seto Kaiba and Dee tagging along against Masters of Magic and Dragons with Eyes of Blue; the irony. And about Chumley art's , they'll pay off really well in the future chapters .Captain Claymore: First things first, welcome aboard. It's nice to have readers like you to freely express their own opinions about my story for references in helping my future chapters. I hope you'll keep reading as far as I'll still keep writing this story.
And you're absolutely right about my technical aspects of my writing: I lack some vocabulary, grammar and the way to express and/or narrate scenes, it's a little hard for me trying to look at it from my mind, and then just write it freely. As long I'll keep inspired, I won't give up so easily from this story I've been working for more than a year.
I may have lacked some points about the Duel Inspector' behaviour that Syrus may have faced, it's not a thing I thought before since I wanted it to center mostly at Syrus as a duelist. I should've put more effort of making him look even more worried, but I also thought it would take me a lot of work… I was more focused on the card combos at that time.
The time I've decided to write this story, before I didn't know how to make a separate line between my story and the author's note, but now I know… I usually don't like to update my own chapters from my laziness, and just focus on the next one. Thank you for keep reading my story

Chapter 47 – The Supreme King, HaouJaden was still falling down in what seem like a place void of any land, sea and sky; his eyes were closed, as if the more he struggled, the deeper he would fall deeper into the abyss. How much time has he been sleeping?
Has he gotten a fever after his duel against Nightshroud? Was Syrus okay after that? Where were the others? How much time was taken in this seemingly never ending slumber?
So many questions buzzing about in Jaden's head. His body started to feel heavier; his brown eyes opened up thiredly to see what was going on around him…
"Huh? What the… Where am I?", Jaden asked to no one, looking around in the darkness – However said dark and empty area was thickly shrouded in thick fog, too much for the Slifer's eyes to pierce through. He tried to understand what was going on, until he got a hint.
"… Wait, I think I felt like this before. When I dueled against Belowsky, I blacked out and met… what was his name again? Yasas… wait, I remember. His name's Yami, the darkness of my soul. Then does it mean I'm back again inside the dark space in my mind?"
"Big Bro… Big Bro!", his well-familiar best friend and step-brother's voice started calling for him, Jaden smiling for seeing Syrushappily walking close to him. "I'm glad to see you're okay, Jay-Big Bro."
"Of course that he's okay, darling. Don't forget that he's Jaden Muto, my little brother after all.", Dark Magician Girlsounded, close to Syrus who was laughing close to her.
"Hmph… as your older brother, do I really need to always watch over you, Jaden? Just get moving already, the day has just started.", Chazzasked, his arms crossed while showing his serious look.
"My love, I'm happy to see you're doing fine. You've had me worried for a second now…", Yubel'svoice sounded off after; the demoness approaching in between Syrus and Dee.
Next up it was the Egyptian God' daughters, showing the same enthusiasm look for seeing the brownette.
"C'mon let's go, Jaden sunshine. The day has just started, and we need you close to us…", Mana said with her smiling grin.
"Jaden… why would you be sleep walking at this time and hour? Don't forget to also eat, since you need your nutrients for your body.", Berenice added with her challenging smirk.
"Uhm… You really need to wake up, Jaden. Maybe some cuddling will help you, you know… to have you enjoy another day.", Cleo concluded with her embarrassed look.
"Guys, I'm totally fine. I'm just glad you all could come here… wait, wake up?", Jaden asked confused, and suddenly felt someone hugging him from his back. It was his girlfriend, Alexis Rhodes.
"Jay, honey. Are you enjoying me hugging you like this? I can do more for you, since you're my one and only cute little Brother, my Jaden - little brother, aren't you?", the blonde Slifer Red girl asked him, his eyes being absorbed over her beautiful eyes. "… Or should I maybe passionately kiss your sweet lips~?"
"A… Alexis, not here in front of…", Jaden told her with his embarrassed look, but then his eyes started realizing something. Why would he be starting seeing them in his mind, and not in the real world?
'Something isn't right.', he thought to himself, and then noticed. Syrus, Dee, Chazz, and his lovers suddenly started suffering painfully over dark flames. "Wha… What's going on? Why are you guys in flames?"
"Big Bro… help me!", the bluenette asked him, being consumed by the darkness.
"Jaden… I feel weaker.", Dee raggedly added next, her badly burnt extending his adopted brother.
This pain. What's with this fire?!", Chazz gasped and spluttered out, trying to protect himself while he was burning to ashes.
"These flames… my powers can't stop it.", Yubel wearily stated, as she was using her arms and wings to shield herself from the flames.
"Jaden… we need your help!", the priestesses begged him, also feeling the power of the black flames.
"No… this is not happening. Why is it… Alexis?", Jaden asked, and then saw her on the ground. Just like his past reincarnation… she was laying on the ground with her painful look.
The boy knell down and held gently Alexis' back to see if she could wake up. "Oi, Alexis… Alexis! WAKE UP!"
"S… Save… me… hon… ey.", Alexis' eyes and voice lasted the last efforts, her hand almost reaching Jaden's cheek. "Ja… den.", her eyes suddenly closed and her arm fell into the ground. Her full-body started getting consumed in the same dark flames, while Jaden wasn't enjoying his presence inside his mind.
"G… GET ME THE HELL OUT OF HERE! WHAT THE FUCK IS GOING ON?!"
His answer got to be responded, the moment Jaden started hearing footsteps coming closer to him, making him turn his head to the source. He saw someone covered in a creepy dark aura; dressed in a dark knight armor with a red cape on his back; a helmet with spikes over his head, that was joint with a mask over his face.
"W… Who the fuck are you? And why are you hidden yourself over that armor? You're not Yami… the darkness of my soul, aren't you?", the brownette asked, being answered by the silent knight with some dark waves coming between him.
He then showed Jaden his left arm, with a duel-disk that had an evil eye and 5 blades in form of a sun that started rolling to combine themselves into the Monster Card Zones of his disk. Jaden saw that, and suddenly his left arm was added his Duel Disk, turning on automatically.
"So… It's a duel you want, Knighty Night? Fine! I'll be your opponent", the brownette declared.
"…", no words were coming from Jaden's opponent, the darkness waves were now a wall between them.
"DUEL!", Jaden shouted.
Turn 1 – Jaden (J): 8000 LP; ?: 8000 LP"… Draw!", the unknown Knight talked behind his mask, drawing his 6th card. "I set 3 cards face-down… and end my turn!", he declared, as three set cards were in his Spell/Trap Zone.
Turn 2 – J: 8000 LP; ?: 8000 LP"That's allyou wanted to show me? Fine then, it's my turn. Draw!", Jaden also drew his 6th card. "Alright, I start by activating from my hand this Spell Card, E – Emergency Call: I'll add an
'Elemental Hero' monster from my deck; I'll add my Elemental Hero Bubbleman, and summon him!"
On his field appeared the dark armored Hero, wearing the white cape and equipped with a bubble gun on his right arm (ATK: 800 / DEF: 1200). "And by successfully summoning my Bubbleman, I can activate his effect: If I control no other cards on my field, I draw 2 cards from my deck!"
Drawing his new cards, I picked another one. "And now from my hand, I activate my Fusion
Spell Card, Polymerization: I'll fuse both my Elemental Heroes Bubbleman on my field, and Shadow Mist from my hand!", both his warriors appeared on his field, combining themselves into a vortex.
"'Combine the black shade with the silent water of my soul. Create a new Light to Clear the Darkness'! Fusion Summon, my Level 7, Elemental Hero Sunrise!", from the vortex, appeared the tall red-armored Hero with the Sun crest, wearing the blue cape on his back and lunar claws on his arms (ATK: 2500 – 2700 / DEF: 1200).
"My Sunriser has a continuous effect: For each different Attribute on my field, my monsters gain 200 ATK. And also, I'm activating his other effect: When he's Special Summoned, I'll add 1 Miracle Fusion from my deck to my hand.", Jaden added the mentioned card to his hand, while suddenly felt his graveyard glowing.
"Since I sent my Shadow Mist to my Graveyard, I get to activate his effect: I'll add a 'Hero' monster from my deck; I'll add Elemental Hero Captain Gold from my deck to my hand. Which then I'll discard it to my Graveyard, to activate his effect: I'll add and activate my Field Spell, Skyscraper!", he placed the card on his Field Spell Zone, some sudden holograms of tall buildings appearing over them.
"And now, I have enough Fusion Materials, to activate my Spell Card, Miracle Fusion: I'll banish both my Elemental Heroes Bubbleman and Captain Gold from my Graveyard!", his two Heroes were again being played on his field, being absorbed into another vortex.
"'I'm bringing the LIGHT! With the glowing armor and gentle shades, I'll bring the knight of hope; Let the glow cover your nature'! Fusion Summon, Level 8, Elemental Hero The Shinning!", from the vortex, appeared another tall Hero with White Armor, with the gold supporters on his back, that had four spikes each (ATK: 2600 - 2800/ DEF: 2100).
"See how much is my LIGHT stronger than your Darkness. And it'll get even brighter, since The
Shinning has an effect: For each 'Elemental Hero' monster that is banished, my monster gains
300 ATK; there's 2 Elemental Heroes, so he gains more 600 ATK!", the golden supporters on the Hero' back started glowing more to strength him (ATK: 2800 – 3400 / DEF: 2100)
"…", the Dark Knight had his mask staring at the two Heroes on the field so far, and showed no worry whatsoever.
"I see that you're a person of little-words. Let's see if you can stand up for my attacks. Let's Battle, The Shinning; Attack him directly! 'Optical Storm'!", his Hero created a golden sphere with the gold supporters on his back, and sent it straight to the Knight.
"… And at this moment, I'm activating my Sunriser last effect: If another 'Hero' monster battles, I can destroy a card on the field; I'll destroy your middle face-down! Go, 'Lightning Punishment'!", his red-armored Fusion Hero showed his sun crest, where it sent a light stream straight to the opposing field.
"… You naive runt. I was waiting for that.", the Knight answered, revealing his left face-down. "I'll reveal my face-down Trap Card, A Demon's Treads: Since you targeted one of my cards on the field with a card effect, I can reveal an 'Evil Hero' from my hand, to switch the target to another card on the field!"
"Evil… Hero?", Jaden gasped by that last word.
"I'll reveal you my Evil Hero Infernal Gainer, to make your monster effect destroy my Trap, A Demon's Treads!", the Light of Jaden's Sunrise switched its route, to destroy the same Trap that the Knight activated.
"You… why would you destroy your own Trap with my Sunrise effect?"
"Because now, I can activate my Trap second effect: If it is destroyed by a card effect, I can set a Trap card directly from my deck.", another reverse card appeared on Jaden's opponent field. "… and that Trap card can be activated during this turn!"
"No matter… The Shinning attack still proceeds!", Jaden countered.
"And that attack won't work on me! I activate the Trap I just set, The Villain Strikes: During the moment I would take damage from a direct attack, I can reduce the battle damage to zero!", his Trap formed a barrier from Shinning's attack. "… Also, by revealing a Fiend monster in my hand, I get to Special Summon it; Show yourself, Evil Hero Infernal Gainer!"
On his field, appeared a demon with a human face; it had devil horns on his head and shoulders, a ripped black cape on his back and had sharp claws (ATK: 1600 / DEF: 0). "And my Trap has an additional effect: Since I Special Summoned an 'Evil Hero' from my hand, your attacking monster gets instantly destroyed!"
"What?", Jaden gasped, seeing the Infernal Gainer get teleported on The Shinning's back, and pierce him with his claws to destroy it in pixels. "… Don't think you'll get through this. Since The Shinning was sent to my Graveyard, I can activate his effect: I'll add up to 2 'Elemental
Hero' monsters that are removed from game; I'll add back my Captain Gold and Bubbleman."
"… You'll need to do even more than that. Your strategies are weak…", the Knight admitted behind his mask.
"Oh yeah? Then let's see if you'll have a taste of my Sunrise's attack. Destroy his Infernal Gainer, with 'Solar Strike'!", his Hero Fusion jumped high and went straight to the demon, his Lunar Claws glowing to strike him.
"Like I said… your strategies leave so much to be desired. I flip over my Trap, E – Envious Blood!", his trap showing a cursed letter 'E'activated with a light shine, which made Jaden cover his eyes with his duel-disk.
"What's… with that card?", the brownette asked, but then realized he wasn't in the duel anymore. He was instead in another place… the place reminded him when he and Alexis got into contact with each other after them doing a duel. He was back when Jaden and Alexis past reincarnations were living together…

Judai was nervous. Even after being declared King of the Two Kingdoms, which then was promised an engagement between the King and the future Queen, Asuka… the groom still felt his heart beating fast because of the number of familiars and Monster Spirits that were involved around that marriage.
He and the priest were waiting for the bride, which looked like it took an eternity. Only after some whispers from the spectators later, Judai looked to the side and smiled for seeing Asuka with her arm crossed over her father's, walking close to him. She was wearing a beautiful white bride dress, her face covered with a bridal veil.
"You look… really beautiful. My eyes really can't leave from your beauty.", Judai admitted, as he blushed from embarrassment.
"… Thanks, this is my favorite dress. I… I had an impression that you also would like it. You also look handsome on your groom dress, my King.", his future wife declared, her eyes also not leaving from his.
Everyone spectating got up from their seats, the Priest now opening his arms. "Humans… Spirits from this Kingdom. We're all here now reunited for the Engagement of the future King and Queen of the Neighbor Kingdoms, which will represent a new bond, a new peace and union for future generations.", the Priest then looked at the two teens.
"Judai, Asuka. Have you two come here to into Marriage without force, freely and wholeheartedly?"
"I have.", Judai and Asuka answered.
"Are you prepared to love and honor each other as King and Queen of the Kingdoms, as long as you both shall live?", the priest asked them.
"I am.", the two teens answered again.
"… Are you prepared to accept children lovingly from the Sacred Beasts that look after you, and bring them up according to a future generation, as the law of Gods that look after this Kingdom?"
"I am.", both Judai and Asuka smiled excitedly for that, as the Priest also smiled at them.
"Since it is your intention to enter into the covenant of Divine Matrimony, declare your consent before the Sacred Beasts and this Kingdom.", the priest asked them, making Judai and Asuka look at each other again.
"I, Judai/Asuka, take you to be my wife/husband. I promise you to be true and faithful to you in good and bad times, in sickness and in health. I will love you and honor you all the days of my life.", they told to each other with their serious look.
Placing the rings over their ring fingers, the Priest felt like tearing up, but knew that were some last words before the big declaration. "And so… Can we write our wedding vows, for the acceptance of the Sacred Beasts?"
A sudden laughter could be heard, coming from someone walking to the middle of the wedding. Even thou he was hidden behind some kind of villager disguise, he had a terrifying look on him, his scary grin with revealing fangs were enough proof to say he was dangerous.
"What in Sacred Beast's name are you, and why are you laughing in times like this?", the Priest asked, Judai having the sudden feeling to hug Asuka to stay close to him.
"Eheheh… I'm just an Objector. Because… I have my own vows.", he snapped his fingers, and suddenly the Kingdom got surprised by a group of villagers equipped with sharp weapons, ready to strike back the guards and soldiers.
"Why you? HOW DARE YOU INTERFERE WITH MY MARRIAGE!", Judai shouted at him angrily.
"I'm just repaying a heavy debt to you after our last encounter, your majesty. The divine LIGHT has been our guide for so long and assisted us where you could not. We wanted to come by and share the envy that we little unimportant peasants have harboured at those with the blood of Kings and Beasts have come to bear in this era!", the disguised person said over his dangerous eyes.
'
"W… What?", the vision Jaden saw briefly had vanished from his sight and brought his sight back to the duel. He noticed how the Knight's Trap E – Envious Blood activated on his field. "What was that?"
The Dark Knight's Trap created a toxic fog over his Fiend monster, while Jaden's Fusion monster was confused. Jaden's opponent had to explain what was happening…
"By tributing an 'Evil Hero', your monster will lose ATK equal to my tributed monster's Level multiplied by 500; My Infernal Gainer's Level was 4, so your Sunrise will lose 2000 ATK points!"
"… Ok, this is really bad.", Jaden admitted, seeing the fog getting over his Fusion monster, that was coughing from getting weak (ATK: 2700 – 700 / DEF: 1200). "But since you no longer have no monsters, I can now attack you directly again!"
"Is that so?", the Knight asked him. "I play my last set card. I activate my Continuous Trap, V – Vile Eye!", his Trap created a dark gate with an Evil Eye on the center, that was looking straight to Jaden. "Once per my Opponent's turn, I can banish 1 'Evil Hero' in my Graveyard, to Special
Summon 1 'Elemental Hero' from my deck that has a different Attribute; I Special Summon Elemental Hero Stratos!"
"WHAT?", Jaden felt chills running over his spine, when he saw the dark gate opening to come out the blue armored Hero with turbines on his back; however, he was covered in a dark aura and glimpsing with red-eyes (ATK: 1800 / DEF: 300). "Isn't that… my Stratos?"
"Yours? You must really think that you're the real owner of my servants.", the Knight pulled off his mask from his helmet, and revealed the face that made Jaden gasp.
"You are… me? No, aren't you Yami?"
"… My name is Supreme King – Haou! The one who rules the Dark World!", he said, his face looking similar as Jaden's, the only thing that changed was his deep-dark golden eyes.
"Supreme King? Where have I heard that name before?", Jaden asked to himself, but then recorded what Yubel once told him.
'… With a marriage on your 16th birthday with your soul mate: princess Asuka, resident from the Neighbouring Kingdom of Arubboth, you would become the Future Supreme King of Disgaia.'
(NA: Aruboth refers to a Canannite town that is mentioned in the 'Book of the Kings'; it can also be a variation of 'Araboth', the 7th and final level of heaven mentioned in the Talmud, location of throne of the lord and home of the Serapthim and Ophanim. Disgaia is a combination of words "Dis" (Not) and Gaia (Earth); in another world, it means Anti-Earth.)
"… No way. There's no way you can be the same Supreme King of the Kingdoms, that Yubel once told me about. That can't be true…", Jaden rejected with anger.
"Yubel never told you anything about me… the darkness that has been living inside that foolish King, who lost everything. Only then, he realized what he had to do – 'If you want to defeat the Evil, you should become Evil!'".
Jaden looked back at the Continuous Trap that was in Haou's field, the cursed letter 'V'revealing a light that made Jaden cover his eyes yet again…

The Battle was getting intense, with both Judai, Asuka, and their most faithful servant Yubel, protecting their Kingdom from the forces of the enemy – the villagers that were consumed by the Light of Destruction. They all had their arcane disks meant for summoning their respectful monsters…
"I Summon you, Elemental Hero – Sparkman!", Judai raised his hand, the yellow armored electric hero appeared in front of the king resolute. "Disable the villagers! 'Spark Flash'!"
Following his Host' orders, the Warrior opened his hand to release some bolts to make some Humans and Spirit shout from getting paralyzed by the attack.
"I summon my Cyber Angel – Benten!", Asuka also summoned her monster, the elegant angel also appearing, her hands holding onto some battle fans "Take down the most dangerous soldiers quickly! 'Angelic Turn'!"
The mentioned angel dashed straight into the crazed enemy soldiers, and with a casual flick of her fans created a large wave of wind enhanced energy. The energy blows all the enemy combatants away and by great fortune they were all knocked out by the attack's end.
"I'll summon myself to protect my future King and Queen, Yubel!", the fiendess raised her wings in front of the enemy. "You all are no match against me! 'Nightmare Pain'!"
Her eyes turned bright red, which made the others look at them with their eyes also becoming red. They used their spears and swords to try to strike her down, but they were interrupted by Yubel's thorn ladden vines that sprouted from the ground, wrapping them up and held the crazed soldiers in place with the spikes bringing great discomfort.
The very first disguised villager that had declared the battle was still looking at them with his dangerous eyes, while the three were now approaching.
"Is that ALL you wanted to show? You weren't really prepared for this, where you?", Judai asked him. "… You also understand that you'll have to be executed for this kind of treatment, so you already know what's coming to you."
"Or am I? Eheheh… I was just 'stalling for time' from this very beginning.", the villager told them. "Because the LIGHT has now done its job! The vile eye will strike now!"
"And what do you mean by that?", Asuka asked, and heard someone from the guards screaming in pain. "What was that?"
"… Judai, Asuka… our own guards and soldiers are rebelling against us.", Yubel explained, as they saw some of their guards fighting against the others. They couldn't tell anymore which one was the real enemy.
"AHAHAHAH… THAT'S RIGHT! That's because your guards defeated our villagers, the LIGHT has consumed them to become a part of our rebellion. This is the time for me to attack now!", the villager revealed from behind his clothes, which made Judai, Asuka and Yubel getting their eyes widen for what he was hidding…

"Envious blood… Vile Eye… What is this all about?", Jaden asked, while still seeing the Elemental Hero Stratos on Haou's field.
"Since my Stratos got successfully summoned on my field, his effect activates: I'll add Elemental Hero Burstinatrix from my deck to my hand.", Haou added the mentioned card into his hand.
"Tch… I can't continue my Battle Phase. I'll go into my Main Phase 2, and activate my Continuous Spell, Mirage of Nightmare! And next I'll throw-down three face-downs and end my turn.", his face-up Spell and three set cards appeared on his Spell/Trap Zone.
Turn 3 – J: 8000 LP; Haou (H): 8000 LPHaou showed himself silent, picking the top card of his deck. "Draw!"
Jaden's Spell Card suddenly activated. "During your Standby Phase, I'll activate my Mirage of Nightmare's effect: I'll draw cards until I have 4 cards in my hand; Since I only have 2 cards in my hand, I get to draw 2 more!", Jaden drew the remaining 2 cards.
"Let's see if you're getting enough with those 2 extra cards. Because I'm now activating from my hand, the Continuous Spell, Virtuous Fallen: Once is successfully activated, I'm allowed to add an 'Evil Hero' from my deck to my hand, I'll be adding my Evil Hero Adusted Gold!", Haou picked the mentioned card to his hand.
"Why does that card… look like my Captain Gold?", Jaden asked.
"Because he's my faithful servant! You want to know what more he can do? I'll be discarding my Adusted Gold to my Graveyard, to activate his effect: I'll add 1 Dark Fusion or a card that specifically lists Dark Fusion in its text from my deck to my hand; I'll be adding to my hand, and activate it; the Field Spell, Supreme King's Castle!", Haou placed the card in his hand into the Field Spell Zone of his disk.
Suddenly from where was the holograms of the Skyscraper in Haou's field, they got suddenly destroyed to set place into an Ancient Castle of Darkness, behind it there was a giant mountain with some blue storms.
"Is that… the Castle where you live?", Jaden asked.
"The Castle you see before you… is the prize, the just, kind, foolish king had earned in his weakness, reduced to after the brutal war with bright lights most foul. After times that felt like millennia obtaining new servants greatly dedicated to my cause and subordinates most foul and unfettered. We were reborn in fire that blackened our hearts and souls pitch black. We call ourselves the Virtuous Specters, the Saviors of Hell… in simple words, the Evil Heroes.", Haou then pointed a finger at Jaden. "Your Elemental Heroes are nothing, compared to the servants that have been assisting me ever since I lived!"
"And you really think I'll believe on what you're saying? Then you'll soon find out that my friends are way superior than your servants."

"And… so what you're going to do with that?"
"To call some reinforcements. I'll activate now my Continuous Trap, V – Vile Eye' effect: Once per my turn, I can discard Dark Fusion from my hand and shuffle to my deck up to 2 'Evil Hero' monsters that are banished. That way, I can Special Summon the same number of 'Elemental Hero' Normal Monsters from my Deck or Graveyard!", he discarded his Fusion Spell Card, and picked the Evil Hero monster that was banished from game.
"My Evil Hero Infernal Gainer will return to my deck. Come forth, Elemental Hero Avian!", on his field appeared the green winged Hero, that also showed a Dark Aura around him (ATK: 1000 / DEF: 1000). Haou then picked another Spell Card from his hand…
"I'm now activating my Fusion Spell Card, Polymerization! With this Spell, I can now fuse my Elemental Heroes Avian and Burstinatrix!", Haou played his two monsters on the field, getting fused into a dark vortex.
"Avian and Burstinatrix? Are you going for Flame Wingman?", Jaden asked shocked.
"That monster has no place in this realm. My Supreme King's Castle has an effect: my Polymerization is now treated as Dark Fusion for the Fusion Summon of my Fusion Monster!", the dark vortex started consuming both his 2 Elemental Heroes, a new one getting formed.
"'Mighty flames of anger and hate, consume the hearts of heroes; And spread the blackened winds with your sharp claws and wings blacker than the night, be reforged as my servant! DARK FUSION! Join me, Level 6, Evil Hero Inferno Wing!", the monster showed up as a winged-fiendess woman; wearing a red cape on her back, she revealed her arms with some sharp claws (ATK: 2100 / DEF: 1200).
"That must be… the Evil version of my Flame Wingman.", Jaden saw how the fiendess woman was now smirking at him, after getting summoned.
Haou's Continuous Spell started glowing. "I'm now activating my Virtuous Fallen effect: Once per turn, if I control an 'Evil Hero' Fusion Monster, I can tribute my Elemental Hero Stratos. That way, I get to draw 2 cards and discard 1 to my Graveyard. And the monster I just discarded with my Evil Hero Sinister Necrom."
"… So let me guess, it also has an effect in his Graveyard.", Jaden backed up a little from seeing an Evil version of his Elemental Hero Necroshade.
"You are correct! I'm now banishing my Sinister Necrom from my Graveyard, to activate its effect: I
Special Summon 1 'Evil Hero' monster from my deck; I Summon my Evil Hero Infernal Prodigy!", on Haou's field appeared a smirking fiend with dragon skin, he had giant antennas on his head and giant wings on his back (ATK: 300 / DEF: 600).
"And by tributing my Infernal Prodigy, I Tribute Summon my Level 7, Evil Hero Malicious Edge!", Jaden saw his servant getting sacrificed to bring up a taller fiend, his body being stuck with straps that had spikes, while his fists had sharp nails stuck on them (ATK: 2600 / DEF: 1800).
"Malicious Edge… By the name, I can guess he's Elemental Hero Bladedge evil form. But he's a Level 7 monster… how were you able to Summon him with only 1 monster?", Jaden asked.
"If my opponent controls one monster on his field, Malicious Edge can be Normal Summoned with only 1 sacrifice! And I'm now activating my Infernal Prodigy's effect: Since he was sacrificed for a Tribute Summon, I'm able to draw 1 card."
Haou drew his extra card, and extended his arm forward. "Time for Battle! Malicious Edge, attack his Sunrise! 'Needle Burst'!", his tall fiend sent a wave of needles from his arms, that were going straight to Jaden's monster.
"Now's my chance! I flip over my Trap Card, Hero Barrier: Since I control an 'Elemental Hero', once I can negate an attack from my opposing monster; I'll negate your Malicious Edge attack!", his trap created a barrier that protected his Sunrise from the needles from Haou's servant.
"… But there's also more! I'm now activating this face-down. The Quick-Play Spell, Emergency Provisions: By sending my Hero Barrier and Mirage of Nightmare to the graveyard, I'll gain 2000 Life Points!", Jaden declared, being now covered with a green light from the Spell effect.
J: 8000 – 10000 LP"I get it… Since your Hero Barrier stops my attack and would be sent to the graveyard, you've decided to use Emergency Provisions to send it to the graveyard for Life Point advantage. And because in your next Standby Phase, you would have to discard 2 cards because of Mirage of Nightmare, being now sent to the Graveyard will stop that.", Haou concluded, while Jaden grit his teeth for him knowing that combo.
"… However, that won't stop you from this next attack. Inferno Wing, attack his Sunrise! 'Inferno Blast'!", his Fusion Hero created two blue flames with her arms, combining them to send a giant blue fire ball.
Jaden reacted for that attack. "In that case, my Skyscraper has an effect: Since my Sunrise has an Attack lower than your Inferno Wing, his Attack will get raised with 1000 ATK!", his Fusion Monster suddenly started getting powerful with the Field Spell on Jaden's field (ATK: 700 – 1700 / DEF: 1200).
"That won't matter, since I'm also activating my Supreme King's Castle effect: During the battle of my Fiend-Type Inferno Wing and the opposing monster, I can send an 'Evil Hero' monster from my Main Deck or Extra Deck, to increase her ATK by 200 times its Level.", Haou picked a card from his Extra Deck and sent to the Graveyard.
"From my Extra Deck, I'm sending my Level 6 Evil Hero Infernal Sniper to the Graveyard, to increase my Inferno Wing's Attack to 1200!", he declared, having his fiendess smirk even more from the Attack gain. (ATK: 2100 – 3300 / DEF: 1200)
"Her attack is now… 3300?", Jaden chocked, for seeing her send a huge blue blast directly to his Sunrise, which destroyed it and he suffered the damage.
J: 10000 – 8400 LP"When my Inferno Wing destroys a monster in battle and send it to the Graveyard, you take damage equal to the attack or defense points of that monster, depending on which is higher.", Haou explained, his fiendess servant jumped high to the air. "Your Sunrise Attack is 2500, so you'll take 2500 points of damage; 'HELL BACKFIRE'!"
Jaden saw in horror how Inferno Wing created a wave of flames that went through the brownette, while he gasped from taking even more damage.
J: 8400 – 5900 LPAlmost feeling like falling to the ground, he picked a card from his disk. "I'm now activating my Trap Card, Hero Signal: With my monster being destroyed by battle, I can Special Summon 1 'Elemental Hero' from my deck; I summon my Elemental Hero Woodsman!", on his field appeared the half-human half-wood Hero that took a knee once he was summoned (ATK: 1000 / DEF: 2000).
(AN: Normally, Jaden could have summoned Elemental Hero Stratos in this situation. However, following the card ruling, the Stratos effect would've missed the timing – it's a WHEN effect, that if it's activated in Chain Link 2, while Inferno Wing effect is Chain Link 1, the effect won't trigger. That's why Jaden decided to summon another Elemental Hero monster from his deck.)
"His defense is only 2000. No matter… it can be easily destroyed on my next turn. I'm setting 2 cards face-down and end my turn.", Haou declared, placing his two new set cards on his field.
Turn 4 – J: 5900 LP; H: 8000 LP"Shit… to be pushed this far so soon. I'll have to show you… my serious self!", Jaden showed Haou his pure anger and hatred towards him. "You've put me through hell, forced me to watch my friends and family burn to a crisp, consumed by your flames of the darkness. I won't let this stand… I WON'T LET YOU GET AWAY WITH THIS! YOU HEAR ME, HAOU?!"
"… You don't have what it takes to destroy me, peasant! You're afraid of me, and you're just thinking that all that talk will save you from this darkness.", the Supreme King told him with his glowing gold eyes, his waves of darkness keep spreading over Jaden.
"Scared, me? I'll show you who WILL be the scared one. My turn, draw!", Jaden drew his card. "During my Standby Phase, I'm activating my Woodsman' effect: I'll add a Polymerization card from my deck or graveyard to my hand! So that next I'll activate it, fusing my Elemental Heroes Woodsman and Bubbleman from my hand!"
His two Heroes got played on his field, being fused inside a vortex. "Pure soil of a Hero' wildlife will combine with the gentle water that will enlighten a new savior. Let the ground cover your nature'! Fusion Summon, Level 6, Elemental Hero Gaia!", on Jaden's field appeared a Hero with a giant massive clay body, his arms had some cannons made for absorption (ATK: 2200 / DEF: 2600).
"I'll activate my Gaia's effect: When he's Fusion Summoned, I can reduce one of your monster's ATK in half, to make my Gaia gain that amount of ATK points your monster loss! I'll reduce your Malicious Edge attack, using 'Clay Pressure'!", his Fusion Hero used his giant arms to try absorbing the spiky fiend.
"I won't let that happen! I flip over my Continuous Trap, I – Immoral Soul!", Haou played another of his trap cards, that sent another beam of violet light directly to Jaden's eyes, to make him return back to Judai's backstory…

Judai and Yubel were now facing the 'Monster' that was hidden behind the villager's costume. A mischievous person, showing his body get separated in a light and dark miasma, his eyes were glowing yellow. Yubel had transformed into her Terror Incarnate form, awaiting for the foe in light and darkness to strike.
"Ehehe… who would've seen this coming? It seems that this much power isn't enough… to satisfy my needs to DESTROY both of you King and Queen!", the foe asked, looking at both his arms, that were
creating a light and black fire at the same time. "The only way to get myself satisfied, it's to make sure you'll lose everything you hold dear, the SAME thing that has happened to me once."
"We… lose everything?", Judai asked him. "Just… WHAT is your goal, son of a demon?"
"Doesn't it look obvious? It's sorrow, painful… my hatred and anger towards the ones who took all I've ever loved and cared. Your ambitions as a King have become a new reason to crush you! Even if it takes me sacrifice my own body, for my own satisfaction… all I want is you dead, Supreme King!"
"But we don't even know you… how can you tell that WE were the ones who stole everything from you?", Yubel asked him from her dragon form.
"You may know nothing from me, who once was a poor kid from the village. But I've received a home, a family to raise me as their own… It was idyllic and every need met. But then… your guards and soldiers burned everything! THEY TOOK IT ALL, EVERYTHING WE NEEDED TO SURVIVE!", their foe answered with his wicked eyes.
"Our guards did what? … I never asked them to took everything from our people.", Judai told him.
"And yet… you decided to execute me? You lie, Supreme King! Ambitious, Selfish and Greedy people like you SHOULD PERISH FROM THIS WORLD!", the foe speeded his darkness and light waves over Judai and Yubel. "But first… as an ambiguous person as myself, I've decided to repay you two…", he snapped his fingers instantly.
"Repayment? How do you…", before Judai could continue his talk, he heard Yubel's voice calling for him.
"Judai… this is not good!", in front of Asuka, the Light of Destruction was approaching her and the Sacred Beasts, as the now possessed guards were also coming from her. "Everyone is now almost
possessed, and I'm getting weak from this war. I can't handle all of them…"
"Asuka, I'm coming to your rescue!", Judai ran to her, but got still interrupted by the Monster in front of him. "… and YOU stop this already! I've had enough with you!"
"I've already explained, your majesty. I'm stalling for time, for the BIG FINALE! Want to get to your beloved… show us all you have! Your immorality against my soul's desire to see you dead, KING!", the waves of Light and Darkness kept spreading over and over, to cage Judai, Yubel and the Monster inside.

"And now… Immoral Soul. And Asuka, Judai and Yubel. Just who is this Monster they were confronting? Light and Darkness… All this information isn't helping.", Jaden shook his head, after seeing the Continuous Trap being activated on Haou's field.
"My I – Immoral Soul effect activates: While I control an 'Evil Hero' Fusion Monster, I can tribute my 'Hero' monster to negate the effects of your Magic, Trap or Monster Effect on your field; by tributing my Malicious Edge, I'll negate your Gaia's effect!", Haou's card sacrificed his own servant, as if Gaia's target was never there in the first place.
"Like that would matter… if you're ready to negate my next target, you have to sacrifice your Fusion Hero next, since you're out of targets!", Jaden told him. "I'll now activate my Spell Card, Fusion Recovery: I'm adding back my Elemental Hero Shadow Mist that was used as Fusion Material, and Polymerization from my Graveyard to my hand.
"… At that moment, I'll activate my V – Vile Eye' effect: I'll banish my Infernal Prodigy from my Graveyard, to Special Summon my Elemental Hero Blazeman from my deck in Defense Position!", he picked the 'Evil Hero' card to place it on his deck, while his Evil Eye gate opened to appear the flame fist orange suit Hero, covered in a Dark Aura (ATK: 1200 / DEF: 1800).
"And I'm activating Blazeman's effect: The turn is Summoned, I add Polymerization from my deck to my hand.", Haou did so, adding a second copy of the Fusion card to his hand.
"So, you've set up another monster to negate my card effects, didn't you? No matter, I summon my Elemental Hero Solid Soldier!", on his field appeared the crystal suit Hero with crystal shells over his arms (ATK: 1100 / DEF: 1300). "And I'm activating my Solid Soldier's effect: After getting successfully summoned, I can Special Summon a Level 4 'Hero' monster from my hand."
"If that's the case, then I'm tributing my Blazeman to activate my I – Immoral Soul's effect: I'll now negate your Solid Soldier's effect!", Haou declared, seeing his flame fist Hero being sacrificed to paralyze Jaden's Hero. However, that made the brownette smirk at him…
"I was expecting you to do that… because now, I can activate this monster effect from my hand: By banishing a Winged Kuriboh or 'Elemental Hero' from my Graveyard, I can make its Level become half the banished monster's Level and get Special Summoned; I'll banish my Level 8, Elemental Hero The Shinning! Appear, my Tuner monster, Majestikuriboh!"
On his field, appeared the shinny form of Winged Kuriboh, with his gold wings, revealing his glowing eyes and claws. (ATK: 300 / DEF: 200). (LV: 1 – 4)
"Tuner… monster, you say?", Haou asked to himself, seeing that new type of monster.
"I can now send my Level 4, Solid Soldier, with my now Level 4, Majestikuribo! Go, TUNING!", his furball monster started glowing into four stars, to next become rings that made his Hero jump between them; a thunder spark could be heard from the tuning…
"'May your waltz of the night never end! Come and restore the Just with the Moon's Light'! Synchro Summon, my Level 8, Elemental Hero Moon Dancer!". On his field appeared a tall beautiful masked lady, wearing her dark star night suit; wearing a white veil around her shoulders, and holding on a Lunar Spear with a Moonstone (ATK: 3000 / DEF: 2300).
"Synchro… Summon. This must be a power of a new generation, it seems.", Haou looked with his serious eyes to the tall lady that was pointing him with her spear.
"I'm activating my Moon Dancer's effect: The turn she's Synchro Summoned, I can discard 1 'Elemental Hero' from my hand, and you'll take damage equal to half the Attack or Defense of that monster, depending on which is higher.", Jaden explained, sending a card from his hand. "I discarded my Shadow Mist, with 1500 Defense Points. You'll take 750 points of damage! 'Full-Moon Flash'!"
Appearing the hologram of the shade Hero, the Heroine's Spear grew a light on her moonstone, in which she pointed it at the Supreme King and a flash got sent directly at him. Haou didn't react to much from that attack, as if it was a single hit.
H: 8000 – 7250 LP"This is not over yet. I'm now activating my Spell Card, Monster Reborn: It lets me Special Summon a monster from either player's Graveyards; Get revived, Shadow Mist!", Jaden called for his monster, making the dark suit Hero appear on his field (ATK: 1000 / DEF: 1500).
"Shadow Mist effect now activates: The turn it got Special Summoned, I can add 1 'Change' Quick-Play Spell Card from my Deck to my hand; I'll add and activate my Mask Change: By targeting my Shadow Mist with this card, I can now Special Summon from my Extra Deck a 'Masked Hero' monster with the same Attribute; Show them what you've got, my Level 6, Masked Hero Dark Law!"
After his dark suit Hero got to wear his mask, his body started to change itself into the taller Hero with a black panther armor, revealing his yellow glowing eyes and dark void being expanded around him (ATK: 2400 / DEF: 1800).
Haou was still looking at the two monsters that Jaden had on his field, but wasn't that worried. "Is that all you could bring on this turn? What a disappointment…"
Jaden didn't like the way how he responded to him like that. "But I'm sure you won't be disappointed for
THIS. I'll start my Battle Phase! My Moon Dancer will now attack your Inferno Wing; 'Eclipse Moon
Light'!"
His heroine created a Mystic Light from her Lunar Spear, and sent it directly to Haou's Fusion Monster. Haou extended his hand frontwards in response…
"Since you're targeting my Inferno Wing for attack, I'll now activate my Supreme King's Castle effect: I'll send my Level 8 Evil Hero Wild Cyclone from my Extra Deck to my Graveyard, to increase my Inferno Wing ATK to 1600!", Haou declared, picking the card from his Extra Deck. But then, he realized something. "What? My Graveyard is locked?!"
"You fell right into my bait… You didn't notice that I have my Dark Law on my field, which has an Effect: Any card that you're attempting to send to your Graveyard gets banished instead! That way, your Supreme King's Castle effect won't be applied on your Inferno Wing! Go, Moon Dancer!", the attack of his Synchro Monster was able to destroy Haou's monster, while he took the damage.
H: 7250 – 6350 LP"And now, my Elemental Hero Gaia will attack you directly! 'Continental Hammer'!", his clay Hero extended his fist directly to Haou's Life Points.
"You won't like this!", Haou picked on his last set card, which also sent another light directly to Jaden's eyes. "I play my Trap, L – Lament Claw!"
"Let's see where this one will go.", Jaden saw through the Trap's light, ready for what was coming…

"Yubel – Ultimate Nightmare! Attack his monster!", Judai asked his guardian, now evolved in her last form. Yubel ordered her two dragon heads to burst their own flames, that combined together to destroy the opposing monster. "You'll suffer the power of my partner's greatest beast! I WIN, demon born betwixt Earth and Hell! GET OUT OF MY SIGHT"
"… Eh… Ehehe… Ehehehe… We'll see about that.", the monster behind the light and dark got revealed to be another human, who was still smirking after his loss. "I'll may lose my life and my soul… but, I won't be the only one losing my Lament."
"Lament? What do you mean by that?", before Judai could understand his sentence, he heard Asuka screaming. His face started looking pale, after him turning his head to the side where she cried in pain, and saw a light pierce through her body. "Oh no… ASUKAAA!"
"We did it… We did it! The Light of Destruction killed the Queen of this Kingdom! Ahah… AHAHAHAHAHAHA! THIS IS IT… THE TRUE SATISFACTION!", the human shouted, while Judai ran straight to where Asuka fell. Judai could see blood leaving from her heart, as if it was burning from how deep the wound was.
"Asuka… no, no, no! You can't leave from my side, Asuka!", Judai held her closer to him, seeing that she was hard breathing from the hole in her body. She was bleeding too much, that was spreading around
Jaden's knees, that were now soaked.
"J… Judai, my… King.", she saw him with her eyes semi-open, and how she was coughing too much
blood. "Please, don't… forget me… don't forget… how much I love you."
"Please don't talk Asuka… you're going to survive this. Please, stay with me. If you don't talk, you'll be saving enough energy.", Judai begged her, and a hand covered with her blood was now placed on his cheek. "A… Asuka?"
"My King… don't forget… me.", those were her last words, before she closed her eyes and her arm fell to the ground. She sent her last breath; her soul was no longer in her body.
"No… no, no… Asuka. No, NO! NO, NOOOOOO!", Judai screamed in horror, his teary eyes suddenly turned in a deep shade of gold, his nerves hitting on his body. His guild for that lament… came from that Human.
"YOU… You, the son of Hell… the evil of this world. YOU WILL BRING ASUKA BACK TO ME, YOU HEAR ME?!"
But the Human was just laughing and coughing at same time, getting arrested from Yubel's thorns that were making him bleed to death as well. But he looked like he didn't care from all that…
"Does it hurt, King? Does it hurt… watching your love getting killed in front of your own eyes?", the
human told him, Judai getting nearly pissed and was now grabbing over his neck to strangle him. "Ghh…
Geheh… Eheheheh, that's right. It's those eyes. It does hurt for you!"
"Shut it! Shut up, shut up I order you! You will pay for your crimes!", Judai shouted at him, his grip getting stronger, almost suffocating the Human. "How does it feel having me take every bit of air from your withering lungs, you wretched bastard?"
"Eh… the pain… the hurt… the trembles of sadness… of your blackened hand… and ever blackening heart. Clawing… away… my life as your man did mine. Feel my PAIN! FEEL THIS LAMENT FOR ALL ETERNITY, HAOU! AH… AHAHAHAHAHA!", the Human had the last laugh and Judai did his last movement on his hand to break his neck.
"… Damn you, Son of Destruction!", the Supreme King said so, and then looked how his Sacred Beasts also did their last efforts, to make the Light of Destruction get sent to another dimension. But for that cost, the three Gods were now forced to be sent back to their stone tablets, so they could sleep again in an eternal slumber. "Damn you… Human Born of the Twilight. Damn you, Light of Destruction! DAMN EVERYTHING!"

A tear left from Jaden's eye. He saw through it all, what that vision showed him. He had finally understood it all now. "E – Envious Blood, V – Vile Heart, I – Immoral Soul and L – Lament Claw. The hatred, the anger, the anguish and the sadness… that's what these four words come combined. Into
EVIL… the fate why Asuka has died that day."
He saw the Trap card activating on Haou's field. "With this Trap Card, I'm allowed to banish an 'Elemental Hero' from my Graveyard, to Special Summon an 'Evil Hero' from my Graveyard; by banishing my Stratos, I'll Special Summon back my Evil Hero Malicious Edge!", on his field appeared again his taller Fiend with his sharp needles, smirking at his opponent (ATK: 2600 / DEF: 1800).
"My Malicious Edge Special Summoned with my Lament Claw will gain ATK of the Elemental Hero banished by its effect; Stratos' ATK is 1800, so my Malicious Edge' ATK will become 4400!", Haou continued his explanation, having his monster getting even stronger (ATK: 2600 – 4400 / DEF: 1800).
"If that's the case… I'll continue my battle! My Elemental Hero Gaia will attack your Malicious Edge!", Jaden ordered his Fusion Monster to attack the opposing monster. "At this moment, I'm activating my Moon Dancer's effect: Once while she's on the field, my Gaia's Attack will be increased by double!"
Haou saw with his own eyes, how Jaden's Fusion Monster was also getting powered up with the Synchro Monster's effect. (ATK: 2200 – 4400 / DEF: 2600). "Malicious Edge! Destroy his Gaia! 'Needle Burst'!"
Both monsters clashed their fists in one smack, creating a wild wind coming from their destruction. While Jaden's Gaia was sent to his graveyard, Haou's Malicious Edge was still banished from Dark Law's effect. And speaking of which…
"My Masked Hero Dark Law is left to attack you directly! 'Void Bomb Blast'!", his panther armored Hero created a dark orb from his chest, and sent it directly to Haou, who for the first time, gasped from the strong direct attack.
H: 6350 – 3950 LP
"It seems like even you can flinch from attacks like this one. Once I'm done with you, I'll be finally out from this eternal nightmare, and get back to my friends.", Jaden told him with determination.
However, the brownette started feeling a strong pressure coming from Haou' presence. It felt like Jaden was about to have a taste of the Supreme King's turn.
"The real fight is just getting started. Power is everything… And I'll be showing you what real power is all about. You'll see the darkness that flows deep inside my heart!", his eyes started glowing even brighter gold, one of his cards activating. "During your End Phase, I'm activating my Virtuous Fallen effect: I'll add a Dark Fusion from my Graveyard to my hand."
Turn 5 – J: 5900 LP; H: 3950 LP
"Draw!", Haou drew the top card of his deck. "I'll activate my V – Vile Eye effect: I'll discard my Dark Fusion, and shuffle the banished Evil Heroes Infernal Prodigy and Sinister Necrom into my deck, to Special Summon my Elemental Heroes Sparkman and Clayman!"
The Gate close to Haou opened again, revealing respectively the yellow armored electric hero (ATK: 1600 / DEF: 1400) and the brown vast clayed hero (ATK: 800 / DEF: 2000), the two monsters being covered in a dark aura. Haou picked a card from his hand…
"I'll activate Polymerization: I'll fuse my Elemental Heroes Sparkman and Clayman", the two mentioned Heroes got fused together inside a dark vortex. "Mighty volts of anguish and lament, consume the hearts oh heroes; And let the dark thunder storm clash this cursed ground, be reforged as my servant'! DARK FUSION! Join me, Level 6, Evil Hero Lightning Golem!"
The Fusion monster revealed itself as a gigantic Hero with a massive body and arms; lightning bolts were at the back of his helmet and shoulders, a red core was in the middle of his suit; he started smirking the time he extended his arms with sharp blades in them (ATK: 2400 / DEF: 1500).
"Lightning… Golem. The evil form of my Thunder Giant. Since both Flame Wingman and Inferno Wing share almost the same effect, the same thing must apply for this case…", Jaden guessed.
"I'll activate my Lightning Golem effect: Once per turn, I can destroy a monster on the field; I'll destroy your annoying Dark Law. 'Voltic Ball'!", his Fusion Monster created a dark bolt sphere with his hands and sent it straight to Jaden's Fusion Monster, destroying it in the process.
"Damm it, not my Dark Law… but that doesn't change the outcome. I still have the stronger monster on the field, and you only have 1 card in your hand. You cannot win this…"
"Pointless words from a scared peasant. If you're afraid of the dark, then you won't like this one coming. I summon my Elemental Hero Shadow Mist!", on his field appeared the same dark Hero monster Jaden summoned during the duel, only showing a dark aura around it (ATK: 1000 / DEF: 1500)
"Wait, you don't mean it…", Jaden gasped for what Haou was about to do.
"You saw it coming. I activate Virtuous Fallen effect: I'll sacrifice my Shadow Mist, to draw 2 cards and discard 1.", his monster got sent to his grave slot, to let Haou draw his cards and discard 1. "And I'm activating Shadow Mist effect: I'll add Evil Hero Sinister Necrom from my deck."
"Shame that you added to your hand, instead of sending it to the graveyard. I don't know what you're planning to do with that monster in your hand.", Jaden pointed out with his arms crossed.
"This Hero that I just added won't change the outcome of this Duel, since Virtuous Fallen let me draw into the Final Piece of my true power. I activate the Spell Card, EVIL Revival!", his Spell card got revealed on his field, showing the word 'EVIL' in it.
"If I have 'E – Envious Blood', 'V – Vile Eye', 'I – Immoral Soul' and 'L – Lament Claw' on my field, graveyard or banished from game, I can Fusion Summon an 'Evil Hero' Fusion Monster, by shuffling monsters that are on my field, graveyard or banished from game into my deck!"
"Fusing monsters from your Graveyard or banished from game?!", Jaden asked shocked.
Haou played two of his Heroes into his duel disk, his Spell card absorbed his two tall Heroes into a deep dark vortex…
"I fuse my banished Evil Heroes Malicious Edge and Inferno Wing to my deck. 'The darkness in my heart is the source of my strength!Witness my most Heinous Servant, THE DARKNESS ITSELF'! DARK FUSION! Join me Level 8, Evil Hero Malicious Fiend!"
From the explosion from the vortex, a taller Fiend appeared with his giant wings on his back; sharper and longer claws on his hands, while wearing a crown with spikes on the edges; he started grinning evilishly the moment his muscular body got showed (ATK: 3500 / DEF: 2100).
"… I'll activate my EVIL Revival second effect: The turn I successfully Fusion Summoned a Fiend Fusion Monster with this effect, I can banish this card from my Graveyard to add a card to my hand…", Haou added a certain card from his deck
"W… What kind of card did he just added to his hand?", Jaden asked with a little fear, he could sense some dark waves coming to his Synchro Monster.
"I'll discard my Sinister Necrom from my hand, to activate the card I just added. 'I'll show you the symbol of ultimate power created by darkness itself. The invincible and Ultimate power'. I activate my Quick-Play Fusion Spell card, Super Polymerization!"
Jaden was now shielding with his arms, from the power his Spell Card was creating another strong vortex in his direction.
"W… Why would he use such a Fusion Spell Card, to fuse his monsters. Only to send such strong waves of darkness in my direction?", he then saw his Synchro Heroine being dragged into the vortex. "Moon Dancer? No way, impossible… she's being used for a Fusion?"
"By activating Super Polymerization, I can Fusion Summon a Fusion Monster with a monster on my field with a card on my opponent field; I'm fusing my Evil Hero Lightning Golem with Elemental Hero Moon Dancer!", the two mentioned monsters got dragged into the dark vortex, causing a huge explosion.
"'The mightiest Hero brought from the four gates of Madness; be born a Servant of Darkness and cause new Calamities with your Ultimate Power'! SUPER DARK FUSION! Join me, Level 8, Evil Hero Malicious Bane!"
From the darknest explosion from the vortex, appeared another taller grinning Fiend monster, wearing a Purple armor and a ripped black cape on his back; he had blue sharp wings and giant sharp blade-claws on his arms, his helmet showing 6 red-eyes on his vision (ATK: 3000 / DEF: 3000)
"M… My monster, stolen away. I have no more monsters to protect myself.", Jaden said with his weak voice, trembling from the aura that Haou was sending him.
"A peasant will always be a peasant. No matter how much you try, you can't outmatch me.", the Supreme King warned him with his threatening golden eyes. "VANISH FROM MY SIGHT! Malicious Fiend! Malicious Bane! Show them why I'M the King!"
"N… No, stop. You can't do this…", Jaden saw the two Fusion Fiends coming his way, and used their claws to finish his Life Points. "STOP THIS!"

HAOU WINS THE DUEL!
Jaden couldn't get up after getting beaten hard from Haou's Fusion Monsters that were now gone from the duel.
"Damn! Even after me giving my all, I ended up losing. Just who or what are you?"
The Supreme King just looked at him with his disappointed look. "Didn'you hear the first time, you runt? I am the Supreme King, while you're nothing more than a peasant and property! So, kneel before me and obey. You will be my vessel for my grand rebirth!"
Jaden saw the way how the darkness was approaching him, while staring at Haou's golden eyes glowing.
"N-no never, n-no way in hell I'll obey to someone like you!"
"Fine…", Haou set his hand alight with dark energy, and proceeded to choke Jaden. "I'll send you there. To one of my own definitions of Human Hell… In the Shadow Realm!"
The poor brownette kept gasping from the darkness chocking on his neck, while he was grabbing it with his own hands.
"S… sorry, everyone… I can't take this, the darkness is too strong!"
"Don't get mad, you runt! This is just the end of your story, and the beginning of mine!", Haou told him with a hint of mockery in his tone, almost possessing all of Jaden's body with his power.
However, someone or something impaled him with his energy staff, which saved Jaden from the darkness that almost consumed him.
"W… What was that? Who DARED to disturb me?!", Haou asked in misbelief.
"Please forgive my presence, darkness of my heart. But it seems you'll need to wait for a few more chapters, if you could kindly wait, you myopic bastard."
Haou saw the savior of his prey. He kinda looked like Jaden's clone, wearing the Slifer Red jacket and was carrying the passed out brownette, while also revealing his golden eyes.
"Y… Yasashi no Yami… You dare to interfere on my chance to be reborn in this world?"
"Sorry, but your time's up. You had your chance, but you wasted it. Now's MY turn!", he snapped his fingers and both him and Jaden were gone from the 'dark prison'.
"Damn you, Yami. DON'T YOU DARE INTERFERE WITH MY RESURRECTION!"

"Is he still okay?", Mana asked from one side of the bed, still seeing Jaden sleeping still.
"Jaden HAS to be okay. He's still being responsible of the Key he has on his neck, and as he said before, he… he said he would be having fun in these duels against his opponents.", Berenice said, her hands nervously pulling the blankets for a little.
"But… didn't you see the way how he ended up in that duel? It was just impressive how Syrus and Atticus got to wake up from such intense duel…", Cleo looked worried at the two priestesses, and looked back at Jaden. "I just don't know why he's the LAST one to wake up from something he loves the most…"
The door from the nurse room got open, the Priestesses looking and smiling for seeing Alexis and Yubel returning back.
"How are you two?", "Were the duels successful?", "Did you defeated the Shadow Rider?", they asked in synthony.
Both Yubel and Alexis looked at each other, and instead of being happy for the last question, there was this 'thing' that didn't make them overjoyed.
"W… what happened, you two?", Mana asked them.
"He… he returned. The one who defeated the Shadow Rider, Vampire Mistress Camula, was Syrus older brother, Zane.", Alexis explained, which made the three Priestesses to gasp for that realization.
"And the one who stopped him from killing Camula was Syrus himself. He was almost sacrificing himself to save Camula…", Yubel stated, while feeling tired from the last night.
Alexis saw that, and smiled back at the Priestesses. "Wouldn't you mind if we could sleep next to Jaden for today? We wanted to rest after a long night, and we wanted to see Jaden waking up close to us…"
Berenice smiled and picked on the other two. "Be all our guests. He also needs you two next to him, since he's sleeping way much better."
Mana, Berenice and Cleo were now vanishing away to the Monster Realm, as the Ra daughter looked one last time at Alexis and Yubel at each side of Jaden's bed. "Hum… goodnight you two, and I hope I still see you today."
They nodded and smiled at Cleo, already laid down on the bed. "We'll see you later, Cleo. We love you a lot~."
Cleo blushed as she was leaving the Human World. "Y… Yeah, I love you two too."
Both Alexis and Yubel smiled at the sleeping, before kissing his cheek and also closing their eyes to sleep with him.
And Jaden got saved once again, this time being the Gentle Darkness (reason why his name's called Yasashi no Yami). Was the chapter too intense? Was the duel too long or too short?
I tried to come up with this new cards for Haou, for the idea of 'HERO' and 'EVIL' sharing the same number of letters. And while HERO is all about Spells, I made EVIL become Traps. (FM) A Demon's Treads: Normal Trap
When your opponent activates a card effect that would target a card on your side of the field: You can reveal 1 "Evil Hero" monster in your hand; Switch the effect to another appropriate target to another correct target.
If this card is destroyed by a card effect: You can set 1 Trap from your deck, and if you do, it can be activated the same turn it was set.
(FM) Virtuous Fallen: Continuous Spell
When this card is activated, you can add 1 "Evil Hero" monster from your deck to your hand. You can only use each of these effects of "Virtuous Fallen" once per turn
- Once per turn, if you control 1 "Evil Hero" Fusion monster Special Summoned from your Extra Deck: You can tribute 1 "Elemental Hero" you control; Draw 2 cards and discard 1.

You can only use 1 of the following effects of "V-Vile Eye" once per turn.
During your opponent's turn: You can banish 1 face-up "Evil Hero" you control or in your GY; Special Summon 1 "Elemental Hero" with a different Attribute from your deck.
During your turn: You can discard 1 "Dark Fusion" or "Dark Calling" and target up to 2 "Evil Hero" monster(s) that are banished; shuffle those target(s) into your deck, and if you do, Special Summon the same number of "Elemental Hero" Normal Monster(s) from your Deck and/or GY.
(FM) I – Immoral Soul: Continuous Trap
When a Spell/Trap Card, or monster effect is activated while you control an "Evil Hero" Fusion Monster: You can tribute another "Hero" monster you control; Negate that activation.
