I grabbed my lunch and set in on my lap to move to an area away from everyone else.

"Midoriya, come sit with us!" a voice called out. I looked to see Nepgear and Uni Celestia sitting with Lynx.

"A-are you sure you w-want to sit with me?" I asked, rolling over to the table.

"Yeah, you managed to earn our teacher's respect during the entrance exam," Lynx said. "And I wanted to pick your brain about what you've been doing that requires Mr. Maijima to keep checking on you more than anyone else."

"O-oh, I-I've been working o-on something f-for myself, but it could be dangerous so he m-makes sure that I'm d-doing everything right," I explained.

"Woah, what are you making that could be dangerous?" Nepgear Celestia asked.

"Well, a robotic spine and legs so I can walk. I know it's weird, but I don't even want it just to make building things easier, but just life," I said. "I'm actually done with the spine and the legs just need some refining."

"That sounds amazing!" she said.

"Heh, it's not all that amazing Celestia," I said.

"First off it is, and secondly you can just call me Nepgear since Uni and I have the same last name so it won't get confusing," she giggled.

"Yeah, just call me Uni," the black clad girl said.

"Wait, you are going to attach it to your neuro system?" Lynx asked.

"Um, yes?" I said.

"Are you mad?"

"Uhh," I said as an alarm went off.

"What's going on?" a girl asked.

"Level three means someone breached the wall, we need to evacuate," I said, remembering the book with information on emergencies.

"Let me help you," Lynx said, grabbing the handles on my chair and pushing me.

"Hey," I said as my chair was pushed to the side and I almost fell out.

"Where exactly do you think you're touching?" Uni asked.

"P-please move," Nepgear said.

"Alright, do any of your quirks help you fly or something similar?" I asked.

"We can fly," Nepgear said.

"Alright, can you do that and tell everyone to stop panicking?" I asked.

"I'll do it, not because you asked me to or anything," Uni muttered, stepping back. I watched as a bright pinkish-white light enveloped her and she emerged wearing a black leotard with mechanical wings that floated off of her and her hair was stark white in drills. I watched as she flew up to the front of everyone. "Hey! Stop panicking! You need to be calm and orderly! People can get hurt if you panic!" Uni yelled with an anger I never imagined she could project.

"Hey, it's the press from this morning!" a boy shouted.

"That was not fun," Uni said, landing and transforming back to normal.

"You're a goddess," I mumbled.

"W-what? W-why would y-you say something like that?" Uni asked, blushing.

"I mean, your quirk is like the quirk the members of the Hyperdimension Agency has and they call themselves goddesses so I just kinda compared you to them," I explained.

"Well, funny you say that because our older sisters are both heroes there. My sister is Purple Heart," Nepgear said.

"Black Heart is my sister," Uni said.

"Wait, you guys have the same quirk as them?" I asked.

"All girls in our family have that quirk. We don't know why," Nepgear said, scratching the back of her head.

"Why aren't you trying to be heroes?" I asked.

"Well, we took the recommendation exams but didn't make the cut. Our plan is to make a show during the Sports Festival and join the hero course," Nepgear explained.

"Same, I love tinkering, but I want to help people," Lynx said.

"What about you, do you think you might be able to be a hero once you finish your equipment?" Uni asked.

"I-I'm not sure," I said, thinking about it. "I-I thought I lost all chances of being a hero when I lost my legs," I added as we got to where we needed to be.

"Well, if you want to, it's a possibility now. Well, given that your robolegs work," Lynx said.

"Yeah, given they work," I agreed.

After a couple of minutes everyone was led back to the classrooms and everyone got to work on their stuff. I went to the room for my gear and looked at what I had done already and the legs that needed work done to them. I then thought of the possibility of getting my quirk to work again even though I hadn't used it since the day of the accident. I shook my head and finished fine-tuning the legs. I sent a message to Mr. Maijima and Recovery Girl to have them come look at everything and set a date for the surgery.

"Alright, let's look at this," Recovery Girl said, sitting down next to Mr. Maijima at the table with the spine and legs on it.

The two of them pointed at a couple of things and wrote a couple of things down for about ten minutes.

"Alright, everything looks to be right and in working order. We just need to set the date for it to be done," Mr. Maijima said, looking at me.

"Hmm, tomorrow is a Saturday so we could do it then," Recovery Girl said, looking at her phone, seemingly her calendar.

"I can do that," I said.

"Alright, be here at eleven tomorrow and make sure to not eat or drink anything for the rest of the day and tomorrow," she said.

"Yes ma'am!" I said, grinning.

"I have to ask, what made you think of using a thermal generator that used body heat?" Mr. Maijima asked.

"Two things, first off it would be able to power both the spine and legs with no issue, secondly if I can make my feet even slightly hotter I can put a generator on both of them and power even more," I explained.

"When was the last time you tried to use your quirk?" Recovery Girl asked.

"Before I lost my legs."

"I'm going to be a bit blunt here, but the probability of it working is slim to none. I don't want to make you feel bad or anything, but I wanted to make sure you knew," she said.

"Yeah, I figured as much," I said. "Well, I guess I can finish up my vibro-gauntlets," I muttered, rolling over to where I left it as I would work on it to take breaks on the spine and legs to not mess up on them.

I got to work for the final bit of the day as they left to do what they needed. After a few moments I looked at the gauntlets and realized they were finished as well. I put them on and checked the fabric I made to dampen the power to protect myself before going to the classroom.

"Midoriya, what do you need?" Mr. Maijima asked.

"I need to use the testing room for devices," I said.

"Alright, if anyone would like to watch you can come," he said.

Nepgear, Uni, and Lynx followed us out. We got to the room and I rolled in front of the test dummy and locked my wheels in place. I put the gauntlets on and turned them on. I pulled my arm back and threw a punch sending a wave of compressed air that was vibrating. The dummy got sent flying against the wall.

"Woah, that with your legs could definitely let you be a hero," Lynx said.

"I have a couple of more things in mind, but yeah, I can," I said.

"Oh, so that's the plan then?" Mr. Maijima asked.

"Now, as long as my legs work, yes," I said.

"Ha, I'm looking forward to the Sports Festival this year," he laughed.

"So am I," I said, thinking about three designs I had in my notebook. "So am I."

AN-

Sorry this fic got back burnered! I just kept getting idea after idea for this and didn't know which one to use, so this is my compromise. I have a list of what all she will have during the Sports Festival. She will have the Green Goblin's Glider and Multi-Bombs, Doc Oct's Robo Arms, the Shocker's Vibro Gauntlets, and her Robo Legs. She will be getting more stuff after the Festival, but I don't know what all she will be getting. I've also created class 1-A for this one and it was random, but works perfect.
