Hello Everyone! I thought that I would write this as a wrap up and a lil treat for you guys! Keep in mind that there will be time skips but I'll let ya know, just keep it in the back of your head. Without further ado may I give you the ending up you all deserve.

Lucy stood anxiously behind closed doors, taking an attempt of a deep breath before blowing it out in a huff. So much for calming breaths. She startled as a large calloused hand grasped her shoulder, the grip firm but steading. Said hand was connected to the father of her soon to be husband. His smile warm and comforting.

"Lucy my dear, you look stunning." He spun her around to get a better look at her in the princess style dress she chose for herself. The dress was everything she imagined as a child, the ivory gown had whimsical lace crawling up from the bottom of the dress and thinned out the closer it got to her waist. Her sweetheart neckline had some matching lace dancing across her chest with a sprinkle of white gemstones to add in some sparkle. Natsu's mother had nearly brought her to tears when she was presented in the gown at the bridal shop, and cried when Lucy put on the veil, the thing trailing after her with the same lace on the outskirts. She looked like a princess, and Kade had said the same thing when she finished wiping the stray tears away. Quite fitting for someone that loved comparing himself to dragons, if you'd ask her.

"Thank you." she smiled bashfully.

"You ready?" Igneel asked her.

"No." she grined back at him. "But yes at the same time."

Igneel chuckled at that, "I remember being the same way with Greendeeny. My palms were so sweaty and I felt like I was about to pass out. But once she walked out, I knew I was in the right place, I knew I was meant for her, and she was meant for me. Everything else, including my nerves, faded. All I could think about was how much I loved her."

"Did you cry?" She jested.

"Oh absolutely." Igneel laughed, the sound vibrating through her bones. "My poor boy doesn't stand a chance. Just do one thing for me love,"

"What's that?"

"Go easy on him." with a wink he turned as the piano music came to a swell and quieted. Just like they rehearsed.

"No promises," she said a bit breathless, the butterflies swarming in her stomach seeming to spread and take up most of the air in her lungs. She grabbed Igneel's arm, stealing her nerves to the best of her ability and smiled, "okay…I'm ready."

"I'm fired up now." Igneel put on his best smile and waited as the doors opened.

Lucy had never been this scared in her life, except for the time she gave birth to Kade, unsure of how the future would pan out. She scanned the crowd, seeing Wendy and Levy in their beautiful blush pink bridesmaid dresses and the groomsmen on the opposite side where Gray and Gajeel stood, with Kade being right next to Gray holding the rings and at the center stood Natsu. The love of her life. Once their eyes locked it was like what Igneel said; everything else faded away.

Natsu's own eyes widened, his lips agape. Soon those beautiful onyx eyes glassed over, a smile spread over an attempt to cover a quivering lip but Natsu just like his father didn't stand a chance, tears spilled over his cheeks unabashedly, he didn't try to cover them. Lucy on her end was smiling so hard she knew her cheeks were going to hurt after this, and a breathless laugh escaped her at seeing Natsu all choked up.

He shifted almost like he wanted to march her up the rest of the aisle himself. Gray had a proud smile on his face matching everyone else in that aspect. Lucy felt weightless by the time Igneel stopped before natsu and placed her hand in Natsu's, pressing a kiss to her cheek he mumbled "Welcome to the family." and found his way to his wife in the front row.

Natsu led Lucy up the altar, seeming to get ahold of those traitorous tears, he smiled brightly at her, squeezing her hands, "You look breathtaking Luce."

"Not so bad yourself."

"Mommy you look like a princess." Kade whispered loudly causing everyone to chuckle at that.

"Thank you," she bent down to ruffle his hair.

The priest began the speech, not that Natsu or Lucy noticed. It wasn't until the vows that Natsu found his que to start his.

"Well we all know now that I'm horrible with words. But I think I did a pretty good job with this one. Lucy, never in my life have I met someone as brilliant as you. You seem to light up a room when you walk in it, your kindness and generosity seem to have no bounds, your heart never filling up and always makin' space for those that you cherish. I didn't know what love was until I met you. I promise to always appreciate each and every day with you. The good and the bad. I will be there when you need me, even when you just need to kick my ass-" that got a laugh from the crowd and Lucy. "I promise to be the shoulder you need and a rock that will never break against whatever hardships we go through. You are my best friend Luce, I would give up the world an' more to be with you, in this lifetime and the next."

Lucy was crying by the time he finished his speech. She took a breath, "Wow, okay I don't know if I can top that," she wiped her eyes, steadying herself. "Natsu, in more ways than one you have saved me. I would compare you to my knight in shining armor, but you didn't save me on a white steed, or save me from a dragon. You were the dragon. Not only are you fiery but you tend to hoard things that have meaning, and protect those you care about to whatever ends. Your loyalty knows no bounds and so does your love, I can attest to this. You have been there for me in my times of need, someone who I can confide in, and someone that can not only love me, but my son. I didn't realize that you rubbed off on me until our first fight, where I noticed that when you left, you left with a part of me. Natsu you became my hoard. I couldn't let you go. So I vow to be the best partner I can be, promise to always keep you in mind and be there for you by whatever means necessary, to love and honor you till the end of my days, and to be your friend no matter what. I love you Natsu, and I am very excited to see what the future holds for us."

With the vows done and everyone thoroughly choked up, came the exchange of rings Kade was proud to be a part of. "For Mama and Daddy." He presented the rings, Natsu slid the delicate band carved with intricate swirls leading to a small row of dainty diamonds on Lucy's finger, Lucy copying a motion with a thinker gold band.

The priest wrapped up the ceremony and asked the age-old question, "Natsu Dragneel, do you take Lucy Heartfilia as your lawfully wedded wife?"

"I do." he said without hesitation.

The priest nodded in acknowledgement, "And do you, Lucy Heartfilia, take Natsu Dragneel as your lawfully wedded husband?"

"I do."

"I now pronounce you husband and wife, you may kiss the bride."

"Don't gotta tell me twice." Natsu grabbed Lucy by the waist and claimed her lips with a fire that spread to her core. At the cheers, Natsu dipped Lucy, holding her firmly against his chest. Catcalls were given followed by Natsu flipping them off.

After coming back for air, Natsu took Lucy's hand and ran down the aisle looking back at her with a loving smile, "Ready for our next adventure?"

"You know it!"

One Year Later

Lucy couldn't believe it. She had a hunch but she couldn't believe she was right. She stared back at a positive pregnancy test on the bathroom counter, luckily Natsu was at work but she couldn't believe it. Lucy squealed in delight, like a little kid on Christmas. She could present this a couple different ways, she's seen videos about it online, where they hide the test somewhere and ask their significant other to grab something in that area, a message in some sort of confinement, ultrasound photos in a container, the list goes on and on. She and Natsu had been trying for the past couple of months with no luck, because of this she'll have to make it even sweeter. Just then an idea popped into her head.

Lucy took the test and hid it in her purse, best to not spoil the surprise early. She then went to the store with Kade ready to put her plan into action, by the time Natsu came home he'd have the surprise of his life.

Once Lucy got home she had just enough time to wrap up the box in a perfect bow and get dinner ready. Kade watched tv in the living room happily staring at the screen or reacting to an intense scene of one of his cartoons.

By the time dinner was done, Natsu came home with a worn smile. Looks like work took it out of him today. "Welcome home." She strode over to him, linking her arms around his chest and pressing a chaste kiss to his lips.

"Happy to be home Luce," he took a breath in, "smells good in here!"

"Just a simple spaghetti and meatballs night, your son decided that noodles had to be on today's menu." She gave a nod to Kades direction. Natsu chuckled lightly and followed Lucy to the kitchen, noticing a wrapped box on the counter.

"What's this?" He made his way over to it, "Someone's birthday?"

"Nope."

Natsu paled, "It's not our anniversary right?"

"Wrong again. And shame on you for not knowing our anniversary, it's not like it's been long."

"Not our wedding anniversary, like a friend or the day we met anniversary." He amended "I could never forget our wedding anniversary."

"I hope so. But no, no anniversaries for a couple of months. I just saw something that reminded me of you, that's all. You can't open it until after dinner though."

Natsu gave a shug, "fair enough."

With dinner out of the way, Lucy brought the present over to Natsu on the couch. Kade sitting in between both of them, Natsu tentatively opened the box discovering a shirt, one that had the writing, Daddy Dragon written with a cartoon red dragon sleeping alongside a baby dragon and baby booties that happened to be in the form of dragon talons.

Natsu stared at the shirt for a moment. Picking it up with the utmost care as if it would melt by too quick a movement. Lucy got up, not that Natsu noticed, and grabbed the pregnancy test to show Natsu. Only she held off as Natsu's eyes turned to glass and fell softly against his cheeks.

His voice breaking, "Really?" he asked in awe.

Lucy nodded her head, wanting to hug him. Kade stared quietly at the two, trying to figure out what all this meant. She looked back at Natsu and found her voice catching in the back of her throat, her eyes following after Natsu's as she let out a soft sob. Natsu was up in a heartbeat before crushing Lucy against his chest, cradling her head and burrowing himself in her neck. He breathed her in as much as possible. The tears couldn't-wouldn't stop, no matter how much he willed it. Lucy shook in his arms. "I love you so much. I'm so happy right now, it doesn't feel real."

"I have the test that confirms otherwise," she huffed a laugh. Drawing back they saw Kade looking confused at the booties.

"These are too small for me," he laughed.

"Well bud that's because they're not for you."

"Who are they for?"

"They're for your baby brother or sister," Lucy piped in.

"Really?!" he exclaimed.

"Yep! But they're not going to be here for a while though."

"Why?" he puffed his bottom lip.

"Because mommy has to keep them safe in her belly."

"So mommy is protecting them?"

"Yes again pal."

Kade walked toward Lucy with an air of awe, placing both his hands on her stomach, "Don't worry baby Mommy will take good care of you." ending the conversation with a kiss to her belly. He danced cheerfully.

Natsu joined in, tossing him in the air and laughing. "We're having a baby!"

Lucy giggled. "We're having a baby."

9 Months Later

Lucy didn't know why she thought this was a good idea. Having another baby was the worst decision she has ever made.

"Push Luce, push."

"Shut up! You're not the one pushing a fucking bowling ball out." With a groan she had the contraction fade but only for a minute.

"You're doing great love, just a couple more." Natsu kissed her sweaty brow, he held her hand. Well held was a much nicer…gentler way to put it. Lucy's grip was almost enough to break a couple of his fingers, but if he wanted to be alive. Stay alive, then he would keep those thoughts to himself. Lucy needed him, and he'd make damn sure that he would be right there with her though it all.

"The heads crowning. Lucy you've got to be real brave and push as hard as you can. Okay?" The doctor said, all Lucy could do was nod. "On my count. 1…2…3…push, push, push!"

With one last push, Lucy screamed until it wasn't just her, there was a smaller cry now. Lucy sat back panting. She turned to see Natsu by her side, crying tears of pure joy. "Ya did it Luce. Ya did it."

The doctors cleaned up the newborn, and placed it on Lucy's chest. They looked up, "Congratulations you two, it's a healthy baby girl."

Lucy took one look at her and knew she was smitten at that moment. She doesn't remember when she started crying but laughed through the tears. Natsu held on to her little, so little, hand and kissed Lucy with all of the warmth he could convery, the pride and the joy all wrapped up in that little moment. With a sigh she lowered her head and whispered atop her head, like a secret only she was meant to hear, "Welcome to the world Luna. You've got one heck of a family ready to meet you." Sealing it with a kiss, Lucy looked up into the eyes that she knew too well and knew that another adventure had just begun.

The End.
