Ch. 3

I peered up into the blue of the coruscant sky… wondering. Obi Wan was acting odd, had he been sent back in time too? Did he, perhaps, remember the terrible things I had done? innocent lives I had taken? Did he remember our duel? That he had left me to die? The pain he put me through? Did he remember that he had called me brother? I Shook me head. No, of course he didn't. First, he would have said something, second, I would be dead, executed. Jailed. No, he didn't remember, and because of that, he didn't know. I was good. Good enough to hide the deep Anger and hatred I had for myself. The things I had done.

"Anakin?"

"Yes, Padme?"

"Can we go out to the countryside?"

"Sure. By the lake?"

I realized my mistake too late. "Err, I mean, um, I was looking up some good places to settle down and… there is a lake nearby…"

Padme looked at me suspiciously, but nodded. "Yes. By the lake"

the Battle of geonosis. I had stayed on Naboo, until I knew the time it would happen. Then I went to "rescue" Obi Wan. Of course, I managed to get me and Padme captured, and of course everything played out the way it had. I made sure of it.

And just like that, the war started.

Good.

"Hello. I am the new padawan, Ahsoka Tano." I blinked. And blinked again. Obi Wan shifted uncomfortably in the silence.

"And I am you master. Obi Wan Kenobi."

"Actually, Master Yoda said that Anakin Skywalker is to train me."

my mind was racing. No, I didn't want a padawan… but I wanted Ahsoka. Just not as a padawan.

"There must have been some kind of mix up. I was the one who wanted a padawan."

Ihad forgotten how young she was.

"Master Yoda told me specifically that Master Anakin Skywalker is to carry out my jedi training."

"We will deal with this later. For now, Ahsoka, follow Anakin. Anakin, I am sure if you tell Master Yoda you don't want her, he will comply."

"You're reckless, little one."

"You wouldn't have made it as Obi Wan's padawan."

"But maybe you'll make it as mine…"

"I'm not coming back…"

"Ahsoka, wait!"

"I see through the lies of the jedi!"

I bluntly shook himself. No. He would not relive that.

After the battle, and the Hutt rescue, ("what happened on tatooine to make you so angry about it?" "I don't talk about it.") Anakin returned to courisant. It was only then, when both Obi Wan and I remembered.
