Midnight Murders in the Void

Chapter Four

Walking over to another section where no one was around to talk. Theresa had found the perfect spot to sit in the shade as there was a slight breeze.

"This is one of my favorite places of this faculty Louise." Theresa will say to her with an exhale.

Louise was able to sit next to her with one in the section for the moment. "Tell me Theresa when was the last time you were able to see my brother?" she alluded with her comment.

Thinking about it for the moment in regard to the question. "Matter of fact it was a week ago when we went to play Blackjack in the auditorium. He had been complaining about headaches along with his legs having cramps again. I have been trying to help him out with the cramps and other issues that he's been suffering with." Theresa comments softly in her voice.

"I know that Richard has been under a great deal of stress after having a battle with Medicaid to switch over to another health company to take over his expenses with living at the Westchester Assisted Living faculty. You do know that he has Parkinson's?" Louise recanted with her words filled with emotion.

"Yeah, I know Louise. The only thing I don't know since he won't tell me on what stage he's in with the condition?" Theresa cried out as she looked up into the sky to see the birds flying around them.

"He's in stage two for the last 12 years to be pretty good. Did he tell you that he was supposed to see his brain doctor to with any changes happening with his Parkinson's?" Louise's hand started to shake with nerve damage to her right hand.

"He told me since we were supposed to be going to a Yankee baseball game on August third. But instead, he had a Doctor's appointment with his neurological specialist to discuss his condition. Meanwhile, I had gone to the game with the Yankees beating the Seattle Mariners 8 to 1. It was after that with the next day we were supposed to meet for Blackjack figuring that he will show up. He didn't even bother to call me to let me know whether he was coming or not. Or the fact he had his obligation to help one of the dementia patients with her husband needing Richard's help to keep an eye out on her."

"Did you happen to put out a missing person's alert with the police?" Louise needed to know for sure.

Shaking her head. Theresa exhaled slightly after chasing away some of the bugs around her and Louise.

"I did and they say that they will look for me here at the building. Even though it's been over a week now that he's disappeared. I have tried to keep an eye on him once we have become a couple. He did tell me some of your issues over the years as brother and sister. However, with myself, my sister Patricia and I have been fighting ever since we have been little. It's only been the past few years I will be staying in contact with her on Facebook." Theresa tells her with a smirk on her face.

"I know that my brother can be difficult at times when it comes to his mental health and physical issues. But I do love my brother very much. I do hope that things will work out between the both of you?" she said calmly.

"Listen to me I know of his problems when it comes to sex. It's why it doesn't bother me all that much at my age. There are many ways how to express feelings toward each other. However, I need to have the lines of communication stay open. Unlike my first and only marriage was great at the beginning when things were wonderful. However, things do change for the most part when work had gotten between us, money and most of all sex." Theresa instructed under her breath grumbling mostly.

"I know the feeling, Theresa. My husband and I work hard all of the time to communicate. My brother does tend to screw up at times with the way he does things in order to take care of himself with his health problems. Do me a favor to call me the moment you're able to hear anything about Richard?" she will be handing her a business card with all of the numbers she uses.

"Thanks for this Louise, and for coming to see me." she paused for the moment before getting up to hug the woman by placing the white business card into her pocket.

Theresa watches the woman walk away as she will call for her ride with a friend not too far away.

Meanwhile, she will go back inside she looked at the time to see that it was almost dinner time and she needed to head back to her room to use the bathroom.

Outside of the church where Richard had gone into. What he didn't realize was that he had been followed. The real killer needed to find out where this man had gone into for now. While his urges to kill again will be forthcoming for the most part.

Walking away to help find prey for his next target. He will disappear for now into the dark needing to sleep. There were a number of shelters and motels where he will be able to sleep it off.

Looking back at the church. He headed off using his cell phone to call for a cab giving the company his exact location asking the dispatcher just how long it was going to take.

Sleeping peacefully finally after the helpfulness of Joseph. Richard turned onto his side in the double bed feeling nice and warm.

The shower that he was able to take had taken off his body so much grime and dirt to make him feel better in every way. Even though he had been suffering from a muscle cramp with his right leg behind the knee. The hot shower was able to help nevertheless.

However, having fallen asleep he will begin the start of a dream sequence once again...

He had been screaming his head off when he saw a dead body only a few blocks away from the church after the priest and Joesph thought it was best for him to leave after staying a few days.

He was standing in the alleyway of a grocery store now closed as it was approaching midnight for him. The female body as the face was cut as with the rest of her body.

"OMG! Please help me?" he cried out with his response. He collapsed onto the cement ground losing out on his reality not knowing what was happening to him once again.
