"So basically this is an alternate dimension where the Grail War went to shit, and took the whole world along with it?" Lester says, only slightly surprised by the insanity of that idea. Clock Tower mages would wring his neck like a towel for suggesting such a thing could ever happen, no matter how small the chance may be.
"That's about right." Caster responds.
"And who's left?" Olga asks
"No humans. We killed Lancer, and the other six just roam about. Well, aside from those two."
"...Who?" Ritsuka asks hesitantly.
"Well, one is a no-good Archer who can't help but talk shit no matter the case. The other, however..."
"What about them?" Olga asks more than slightly annoyed.
"Well, she was just a normal girl, until she pulled the Sword in the Stone."
Lester's eyes widen, Ritsuka pales, Mash puts a hand to her mouth, and Olga grimaces.
"Oh, Saber? Yeah, she's super strong, but I couldn't see her being evil anyway." Elizabeth says offhandedly.
"You've met her?" Caster asks.
"I fought her in another Grail War." Elizabeth states.
Lester just sighs and asks a new, far more pressing question.
"Well now that we know what we're dealing with, what's the plan?"
Lester almost regrets asking for the plan. Now he's stuck walking with Elizabeth, and he suspects that she may be the dumbest person he's ever seen.
"So you remember the plan, right?"
"What plan?"
He huffs in thinly veiled frustration.
"I distract Archer once I'm done writing all these runes on my body and the extra ones on Monarch. You deal damage. He should be an Archer, so he should be less adept at fighting in close quarters."
"...I don't understand."
"We kill his ass in style."
"Alright!"
She then stops and turns around smiling.
"Master, let's sing as loud as we can!"
He's here.
He reinforces his body, activates the runes, and uses Instant Enhancement to maximize his offensive capabilities.
'Remember, this is all or nothing. Don't worry about me.'
'...Ok.'
He barely sees the man before an arrow comes his way.
He slices it into two halves with Monarch, and then dashes at him, running up and on top of buildings.
He gets a clear view of him, and pushing his legs to the maximum, he blasts toward the archer's perch, a tower, dodging arrows all the while.
'You're still trailing us, right?'
'Duh. Why would I let a piggie like you get turned into bacon?'
He tackles him off the tower and gets into a skirmish in the smoke-filled sky. He slices, dices, hacks, and slashes, feeling more powerful than he ever has in his life, but still acutely aware he is inferior to this guy in just about every way.
They hit the ground in an alleyway, and he hits the guy with a slash to the left before seeing an overhead with one his of shortswords and he immediately recognized it. Kanshou? He had seen pictures, researched, and tried to replicate them too many times. Bakuya came up to guard his left. And all of this had happened in a second, maybe less. He went in for another hit with Monarch on what seemed like an easy opening and saw it guarded.
He barely dodged the swift counter-attack with Emergency Evade, but not the kick that came after it. He broke into a roll and grimaced at the strain his body was under. Humans were not in particular built to take in this much power, nor servant-level attacks after.
He shoots forward again, but this time, with a joust instead of a slash. He misses again, and Monarch is embedded in the wall, beginning to melt it. He lets go of it and proceeds to fight hand to hand with him. He lands a clean jab-hook combo, before being promptly assaulted by attacks. He then starts to match the man's sword strikes with his fists.
"God, I need to work on my bladework if I'm doing so well hand to hand." He says out loud.
"Or just don't use a sword at all. Are you a servant?"
He flashes his command spells in response.
"How are you matching me then?"
"Two mega doses of reinforcement, a necessary amount of runes, and a gut check."
He gutted Archer as he said this, cleanly kicking him into a jab from Elizabeth's lance.
"Cheap."
"Aren't we all?"
'Force him toward the wall.'
She does as she's told, the duo relentlessly pelting him with attacks until he's near the wall.
"Teleportere!"
And then Monarch stabs through his chest. And the lance follows.
"We've impaled you through your heart and one of your lungs, but I like to be thorough. No anime bullshit is getting pulled on me."
The last of his strength is used to get out of the way before the rubble crushes him too.
He'd assumed the building wasn't sturdy to begin with, so he had left Monarch there, melting the wall. He had originally written Teleportere on the sword so that he could alter it back into its knife form and throw it so that he could get an easy win, but that was far too optimistic to defeat a servant with. He teleported to the sword, took it out of the wall, stabbed him, and then ran off and let the building collapse on top of hi-
A blur comes out of the rubble and is coming straight for his neck, but Elizabeth takes the attack and stabs Archer in the head, finally killing him for good.
*cough HAck cough* "Pay more attention next time, Mastah."
She then slumps, and as much as Lester would love to just lay down and rest for a good five decades, he still had a heart.
"Damn, I said no anime bullshit was getting pulled and he still did that. Caster was right, he is shitty.
Elizabeth giggles, but then coughs more blood.
"Oh shit, still have to heal ya. By the power of my command seal, be restored to full health!"
And just like that, she is ready to go again.
"Wish I had it that easy..."
"Don't you have First Aid?"
"That's like comparing a potion to a Full Restore!"
"Huh?"
"You don't know about Pokemon? Oh no, as soon as we're back at Chaldea, I'm giving you my old 3DS and a Pokemon Black 2 copy, and I'll show you everything."
