Author's notes: Once again, apologies for the wait. It's been a rough few months and things are beginning to take their toll, I'll have to admit. But luckily I've managed to find the muse once more, by writing in a park out of all things. Yep... you read that right. To be honest, I would recommend trying it some time, it is quite peaceful. Anyway, for this final one-shot of the collection, I've got a lovely treat for you. One that made me happy reading it too. Though I may have it a bit rough now, trust me, I've got things covered. Now let's get on with it!

At Last

Happiness is a fleeting feeling, usually buried away when trouble rears its ugly head. However, in some instances this doesn't ever leave one's heart. For once, a certain tiger is able to truly experience this.

A family of shadows consumes the wooden walls of Tigress' room, projected by the tender moonlight shimmering through her paper door, blanketing the slumbering tiger in a dark blue hue. That is, until a new, noticeably rotund, shadow fills the length of her futon. Her ears twitch as the sound of her paper door sliding open breaks the night's steady silence. Waking immediately to this, Tigress keeps her eyes closed whilst she clenches her fists underneath the covers until her ears pick up a new sound.

Tak. Tik-tak. Tak. Tak.

The rhythm of her 'intruder's' paw tapping her paper door prompts her paws to release their pre-emptive death grip. Of course, it's him. A smile crawls onto Tigress' face as she realises her 'intruder' is none other than the dragon warrior, who forgot to tap on her door before opening it… again. The first time this had happened, she was one arm swing away from breaking Po's jaw before he had explained just why he had decided to sneak up on her like that.

It was around the time just after Gongmen when a particular nightmare had poisoned his mind. That when she had taken the cannon shot for Po, it had ultimately led to her demise. A harrowing possibility that had fuelled the panda to check if she were okay, leading to a confession on her part. That often times she would do the same for him, granted her natural subtlety had allowed her to get away with it for much longer. On that night, they had agreed to signal the other with this knock, to let the other know that they just wanted to check on them.

Until a few days ago, this was all it meant. Until another confession, this was a signal for concern. Now, it is so much more.

Jade irises glimmer through the shadowy veil coating Tigress' room, Po taking in the sight of his awaiting feline lover. He closes his tiger's door, managing to actually maintain his 'stealth mode' for long enough to not wake the others. Tigress' smile grows as she hears Po gently tiptoe over to her futon, the panda somehow managing to only step on the creakiest parts of the floor. She can practically hear the panda wincing at his clumsiness. As the dragon warrior delicately lifts her covers, the tiger's tail welcomes him in, wrapping around his wrist almost immediately. A wholehearted grin brightens Po's countenance, his heart welling up as much as it did when he had told her those three magical words he had always wanted to say. Part of him still can't believe that she returned those feelings. Heck this could still be a dream. Maybe he should pinch himself just to be safe?

The panda master is soon snapped out of his thoughts as Tigress' inviting chuffs rumble into his eardrums. Wasting no time, he slips himself into her bed, his tiger feeling the weight shifting as soon as the panda got in. She doesn't move however, curious as ever to see just what the panda has in store for her. Last night it was a short but sweet peck on the cheek, the night before it was a brief, affectionate whisper in her ear.

The feline's question is soon answered as she feels her panda's belly press up against her back and his soft arms wrap around her bare waist, sending a delightful chill on a crash course directly to her yearning heart. An elated hum flows out of Tigress' maw, the tiger allowing herself to sink into Po's loving embrace. She feels the dull pressure of Po's paws caressing hers before he nuzzles his face into the side of her neck. Her hear fluttering in response, Tigress nuzzles her lover back only to be caught by surprise when he lightly kisses her neck. A soothing fire wraps around her body, crackling into a passionate blaze as Po kisses her neck again, this time taking longer to pull away. Tigress' toes curl as her adoring panda continues to give her slow, sensual kisses on her neck, her chuffs almost getting loud enough to pierce through her door and fill the halls of the barracks in her pleasure.

Part of her doesn't care, let them hear how much she is enjoying herself. On the other hand, why let them spoil things? After all, they'll most likely try to pry too much or just be insufferable enough to tease them. The others don't need to know just yet.

Wanting to give back to her adoring lover, she turns her head over to his and plants a gentle kiss on his lips. Neither warrior wants to separate from the other, fully giving themselves in to their hearts as they bathe in the fiery embers of their passion. Before long, both Po and Tigress find their eyes beginning to flutter, the call of dreamland being too tempting to pass up. Intoxicated in each other, they share one last kiss before their minds drift off to sleep, the tiger's smile never leaving her face. Finally, she has found the true meaning of happiness. Finally, she feels truly whole.

She has found love, at last.

Tbh, this one-shot collection has managed to keep me in check for the past few months. As for clouded minds... Sorry to say this, but I'm going to have to put it on hold for a bit. Don't know when I'll be able to come back to it but hopefully that will be sooner rather than later. Anyway, ignoring that, hope you had fun with the fluffiest one shot of the bunch and I hope to write another banger... whenever that will be. Until next time ;)
