Chapter 4: Hedge into Problems

Bloody Bunny and Dark Rabbit continue walking together. BB remains annoyed as Dark Rabbit smiles brightly and hearts surround his head.

BB said, "I've never seen you smile so brightly. It's rather creepy. You were emotionless back then."

"I thought it was impossible to feel anything until you showed me from the first time I saw you fight again," he responded.

BB looked surprised before she heard a growling sound. Dark Rabbit heard too that he and she lean back-to-back and take out their weapons in defense.

He then lustfully smirked and said, "Your butt is touching mine."

Once she slapped his face with her ear, the pair noticed red eyes peering from the hedges.

"What is this?! Show yourself," Dark Rabbit shouted.

Then coming out of the hedges are Hedge Beasts in the forms of hawks, lions, tigers, and bears.

"Uh?" Bloody Bunny said, looking at Dark Rabbit.

"That's not ours," he responds.

"How is it possible?"

"Heck, if I know. Let's chop them to oblivion."

"Never thought I had to fight alongside you."

Bloody Bunny and Dark Rabbit start to charge at the beasts before using their weapons to chop them all.

Back at the Stone Maze, Ayupan is still talking as Serious Kuma listens.

"And that's how I became a rising star," she said.

"Amazing. You have come so far," said Serious Kuma.

"Now, enough about me. What about you? How do you start working for Dollworks?"

"Well, I guess it started once I was created. I don't remember much…."

"Finally! Some familiar faces!" said a voice.

Ayupan and Serious Kuma look ahead to find Bye-Bye Kitten running towards them with sleepy Mumu on her head.

"Kitten and Mumu. Boy, are we glad to see you," said Ayupan when Bye-Bye Kitten came close.

"Mmm…Where am I? Where's my sister and parents?" said Mumu, waking up.

"Finally. You woke up," said Bye-Bye Kitten before Mumu hopped off.

But the four took notice when the eyes appeared on the stone walls and prepared to fight. Stone golems then came out of the walls and roared.

"This is weird. The CEO never mentioned this," said Serious Kuma.

"Wait? These aren't yours?" said Mumu.

"What do you think?" Bye-Bye Kitten said, taking out her knives.

"I think we should take them down!"

Serious Kuma takes out his hammers and smashes every golem. While Ayupan and Mumu use their karate to distract them, Bye-Bye Kitten takes her knives to take out the monsters.

At the Maze of Dreams, Sloth Doll and Razor Mane still hop from every hedge.

"Where is that darn device?!" Razor Mane shouted.

"Be patient, young mare. We will find a way if we keep at this," Sloth Doll said.

"Wait! I see something…."

The two then spot the Bunny parents, the Vampire Lord, and the Mummy Minion walking through the maze.

"Hey, you two Bunnies! Slow down," said the Vampire Lord, sweating.

"You should work out more often. Consider how you rely on your minions to do your dirty work," said Assassin Bunny.

"Hey! How would you like it if you had a weak body like this?!"

"I would find a way to make it better and stronger."

"I can see where that Bloody Bunny gets her determination from."

"You should know that all women are determined to get what they want. My Assassin Bunny is a remarkable creature," said Killer Bunny, putting his arm around her, which made her face blush red.

"Ugh, please don't make out in front of us," said the Vampire Lord, as the Mummy Minion covered their eyes.

Sloth Doll and Razor Mane jump before the four for Killer Bunny to say, "Sloth Doll and the My Little Pony Doll."

"It's Razor Mane. Or you can call me by my warrior name, SM Pony," said Razor Mane.

"Well, it's lucky for us to find the four of you," said Sloth Doll.

"I hope the luck mentioned will help us find the device so we can get out of here," said Killer Bunny.

But after the six dolls feel a rumble, they turn to find rose monsters emerging from the Maze of Dreams' hedges.

"What is this?!" said Assassin Bunny, taking out her katana.

"That's not ours," Razor Mane, surprised.

"Nor mine. Where did they come from?" said the Vampire Lord, as the Mummy Minion defended him.

"Less talking, more fighting," said Killer Bunny, taking out two small knives.

Razor Mane then uses her blades to slash all of the monsters before saying, "I hope that will give us enough time to talk."

"This doesn't make sense. You don't think those creatures are made from the device, do you?" the Vampire Lord concerned.

"Well, the CEO would have told us, even if it does."

"I think I know why he didn't tell you. He's probably tired of you that he wants to end your lives for failing so much," said Sloth Doll.

This shocked Razor Mane, the Vampire Lord, and Mummy Minion for Razor Mane to say nervously, "Oh, come now. That's nonsense. He loves us. My Dark Bosses and I were on the verge of dying; he found and saved us."

"Oh…Are you sure he's not using you as tools to regain world rule?" Killer Bunny said, which made Razor Mane gulp in terror.

"And even if he wants to kill us for failing, how do you think we fail all the time?!" said the Vampire Lord.

"Fair point."

"Anyway, let's keep going if we all want to live," said Sloth Doll, leading the way.
