Freya woke up not in her bed but none other than Itachi's. Freya felt ashamed about what happened last night. She was partly to blame and they got caught up in the moment. If seeing each other naked didn't put a bar between them this definitely did. Granted they just made out and didn't do anything other than that, but that wasn't the point. The point was that they shouldn't have let it happen let alone she shouldn't have enjoyed it.
She peaked out his window and saw Itachi and Kisame having what looked like a serious conversation. It was probably about her. Freya felt maybe it was best to just stay away from each other to avoid future incidents. "Way to fuck shit up Freya." She said to herself before getting out of his bed and walking downstairs and into the greenhouse where she grabbed her wyvern eggs from her fridge and started heading to the hatchery.
She could feel all eyes on her as she walked into the hatchery and set her eggs down in front of the a/c's and sat down with her head in her hands. This was so awkward. "Hey you ok?" She heard Itachi ask. He felt horrible after getting an earful from Kisame about how he should be getting so close to her. That this could ruin everything. He was right but wrong at the same time.
Itachi was at his most vulnerable and yet she stood by him and comforted him. Something that hasn't been done since Izumi. When his and Freya's lips met it was like a fire had ignited from within him. But he was becoming unsure of everything. "It's nothing just thinking." She replied. Itachi sighed "about last night?" He questioned. Freya looked away from him "I would prefer we not talk about it. Yes it happened but we should just move on and forget about it." She told him.
Itachi blinked his eyes at her knowing fully well she doesn't want to talk about it. "Is it safe to come in here? I didn't want to interrupt something." They both heard Deidara say teasingly. Itachi was about to say something but saw this flash of white pass him and hit Deidara on the arm. Itachi watched Deidara scream as he tried to extinguish the white flames before turning to Freya who had a hand covering her right eye.
"It was just a joke." Deidara yelled at her before checking his arm out. There was a patch of skin that looked like he had frostbite. Itachi then knew what had happened. Freya had activated her bloodline technique.(it's probably not what it means but it's what Google says it is under translation) The Shiroi tsukinome. Her bloodline had a realm similar to the tsukuyomi that he had. The tsuki no ryōiki.
Deidara mumbled 'sorry under his breath before leaving the two alone once again. "Are you ok?" Itachi asked her. Freya tried to steady her breathing but ended up collapsing to the ground. Itachi quickly went to her side and helped her up. "I may have overdone it." She said. Itachi sighed "you ok?" He asked her. Freya nodded before Itachi let go of her "I'm ok." She told him before sitting back down infront of her eggs once again.
Itachi sat down beside her, curious about her bloodline. "So tell me about your clan's bloodline." He told her. Freya looked at him before looking back at the eggs. "Well my clan is among the strongest in Yukigakure. our pupils turn white with a snowflake-like design like how yours is red when the sharingan is activated. Our fire style contains the hottest flames when it comes in contact with skin it will be so hot that it feels cold.
Our jutsu consists of a barrage of flaming arrows, sub zero blizzards, and ice shards. We have our forbidden ones as well but those are top secret and I will not say what they are." She told him. Itachi nodded before standing "it's going to be a while before those eggs hatch Sasori was wanting to do some exploring." Freya looked at him then back at the eggs "ok" She replied. Freya stood up and followed Itachi out of the hatchery, closing the door behind her.
"So what's the plan?" Kisame asked. Sasori thought for a moment "there's some caves nearby we should go check them. Out to see if there is any clue about getting out of here " He said. Freya looked at him and nodded "just like the island. We had to find artifacts and collect trophies to do the boss fights and then we had to do it again this time for the tek cave. We then had to kill our way through to get to the boss and that's how we came here." She said.
Sasori proceeded to think "I don't think I've seen one of those caves anywhere. But it wouldn't hurt to check it out." Freya nodded know they needed to prepare for the caves. She wondered if the caves here were full of the same creatures that inhabited the caves back on the island knowing they would need to make antidotes and weapons and ammo before they went.
"We could cover more ground if we split up." Kisame said. To a point kisame was right but would they go in pairs or each one by themselves? "Itachi and I will go south, Freya and Sasori will go north, and Deidara will scope out east and west." Kisame said.
Freya felt a little uneasy about being paired with someone who wanted to turn her into a puppet at first but it was whatever. Everyone had already agreed to it.
