Quick Note: I might be a bit impatient since it has only been like what 30 hours when I uploaded the first chapter but I have only one review so far and it doesn't really give me much so once again if you want to give ideas or suggestions or you don't like something PLEASE. I don't know how my story is received otherwise. Also I am not sure if you guys want me to write longer chapters so I will write what I want to write and try to get over 1000 words. Chapter 8: 19th May 1988 AD / 37 BBY, Ryloth

2 weeks of further training with the True Mandalorians and a day of a scouting operation and they were finally ready to take on their first bounty. They just had a small last briefing among themselves since they had no superior officer to give it to them. They knew that this was probably not the way how bounty hounters usually prepared for a hunt but they were used to it being professionals soldiers and all that.

„So everyone got the plan? We can't really afford this to go wrong." said Daniel.

„Yeah yeah we go to them, stun them and then get some information. We then try to convince them to join us and if they do we fake their death and hurray we got new allies. If they decline we ask them not to reveal to anyone that we let them go in exchange for letting them off the hook." muttered Jack.

„What's up with you lately Jack? You have been moody more and more" asked a concerned Sam.

„Ugh I don't know I have been feeling uncomfortable lately like a Xenomorph wants to burst out of my chest"

„Interesting analogy O'Neill" said Teal'c

„Hmm we will have to keep an eye on this. You sure this isn't something worth mentioning to Wels or the others?" asked Daniel.

„Yes yes I'm sure now lets get on with it".

So they set sail... uhhh foot? and went towards a small settlement that was 13 hours away. Over night they camped in a cave under the desert.

The next day they finally arrived at the settlement and began their search for the Jedi that they were here for. From a far a man that had watched them since their arrival now began to follow them.

Trask Soda (49) and Yuri Adrar (22) were currently meditating together in an area outside and in front of their small home that they had made for themselves. A common practice of them even more than back when they were still part of the Jedi Order to prevent them from falling to the darkside. That's right they had left the Jedi. Why you might ask. Well on their first mission together 11 years ago to retrieve a force sensitive baby on Ryloth they had stumbled on a bunch of slaves being mistreated bei their owners. After they had finished the mission and returned to Coruscant they were promptly put on Senate duty to protect a Senator that had ruffled some feathers. They quickly agreed that this wasn't something they liked to do very much. Not only was it quite boring as nothing actually happened (atleast at first) but they had also reason to suspect that the Senator they were protecting was quite corrupt and had only gotten to his position because of his money and by sucking up to a superior. So they asked the Council multiple times over a period of a year to be replaced and instead be sent to the Outer Rim to free slaves since their first mission had made an imprint on them. The council blocked every attempt they made however which frustrated them quite a bit. Over the next year they quickly formed a bond, deeper than the code allowed so after a long conversation they began to hide their growing father/daughter relationship from the rest of the Order. After a while they had become quite disillusioned with the Order but hey atleast they were doing their duty to the Republic. Some more time passed and the boring time period came to an end. Not by an assasination attempt or anything, no not even close. The Senator they were protecting had apparently took a liking to the then 14 year old padawan. While Trask was meditating, he invited Yuri to his bed and when she refused attempted to rape her while the two Senate guards in the room stood by and did nothing. Trask quickly came to Yuri's help who was struggling against the Senator when the guards finally took action. They however decided to protect the Senator who had managed to rip of Yuri's clothing and tried to contain Trask so sensing his distress he immediately disabled them before rendering the Senator unconscious. Yuri had experienced a mental trauma so Trask took her quickly to the temple to find a mind healer. He found one but before the mind healer could even begin talking to the disturbed Yuri they were ordered to explain their actions before the council. Atleast they're story was believed by their fellow jedi but Trask and especially Yuri were dismayed when they were notified that they were to defend themselves at a trial for attacking and maiming a senator of the Galactic Republic. They knew where this was going so they quickly gathered the few things they owned and fled the temple into the lower levels before leaving the planet when the dust had settled. After another few months they returned to Ryloth and began helping form a Twi'lek underground resistance movement freeing slaves wherever they could and quickly becoming the target of bounty hunters. After a year they had apparently even gotten the attention of the of the council who had send Master Sifo-Dyas after them. He had notified them that the charges against them had long been dropped and that the senator in question was in prison now. He then offered them to return saying that there was no punishment waiting for them but they declined stating firmly that they had found their true duty to the force. Master Sifo-Dyas then left again after apologizing for everything they had went through.

Trask and Yuri were interrupted in their meditation when they heard a metallic noise. Quickly jumping up and igniting their lightsabers they only saw a bright light which made them blind for a few moments after which they were stunned.

After the two jedi were rendered unconscious SG1 quickly took them into what they assumed to be th jedis' home. While Teal'c and Jack were outside guarding the house Sam and Daniel stayed inside to well interrogate the jedi.

„Who are you? Why have you come after us?" Yuri asked them.

„Well I am Daniel and this is Sam. We meaning us two and Jack and Teal'c outside are bounty hunters.. sort of atleast and our reason for being here should be self explanatory.. again normally atleast" replied Daniel.

„Since we are still alive I assume whoever hired you wants us alive?" asked Trask.

„Well not exactly" replied Sam „You see they kinda want you dead and we really need that money but since we have morals and were told that you jedi are kinda the good guys we don't really want to kill you"

„I can respect that but that kinda doesn't work with you needing the reward, does it? Also we aren't jedi.. atleast not anymore. We left the order and I can see you are curious but please don't ask why, we don't like to talk about it"

„Hey Sam that makes our true reason for being here way easier since they aren't affiliated with anyone" „That's true Daniel but they still have to agree"

„And what would we have to agree to?"

„So we are kinda stranded here and have been for a while. We joined a group called the True Mandalorians who are hiding here on Ryloth and we'd like you to join us. If you decline we ask you not to reveal to anyone that we let you go" explained Daniel.

„I have heard of these True Mandalorians and am familiar with their goal of reforming the Mandalorians. I am inclined to accept but first I must ask you something. Are they the same people who have been guarding some of the slaves?"

„Yes but only because they need to generate some income. With the reward of this bounty we would have some breathing space"

„Hm alright I think I can forgive that as long as they stop helping the slavers from now on" „I don't think that will be an issue since they only do it with great reluctance anyway" assured Sam.

„Then I accept. Yuri what about you" „I am not sure but I will trust you in this case"

„Well Sam, Daniel seems like we find ourselves as allies now. Though I find myself how you are getting the reward since we'd need to be dead for that.

„We fake your death of course" smirked Sam.

The sith acolyte saw the bounty hunters walk outside again. But wait what? They had let the jedi live. 'They were gonna pay for this treachery' he thought to himself. His master had said that the jedi needed to die even if the acolyte had to do it himself. He jumped down with his group of upgraded commando droids behind him and started hurrying to the group of humans preparing himself for a fight.
