Chapter 9: 19th May 1988 AD / 37 BBY, Ryloth

After a quick chat they decided that it was time to begin the next stage of the plan. The group was walking outside the building after they had placed charges, the SG1 team had brought with them, inside the house.

„So you must be the other two members of SG1 I have heard about" said Trask. „Indeed" „That seems to be the case yes, so are we gonna leave? I have a feeling that something is coming and it is not friendly" guess who of the two said what.

„A feeling huh?" mused Trask guessing why Jack had been uncomfortable for the last days „describe that feeling".

„Uhhhh guys I think we have guests" said Daniel suddenly alarmed.

The group turned around and indeed a snarling man with a small group of odd looking commando droid (not that SG1 could identify the droids) sprinted towards them.

„Dark Jedi" exclaimed Yuri „By the force. How did we not notice his force presence all that time we have been here?"

„I think we can worry about that later" answered Trask.

„JEDI" the dark jedi screamed „Prepare to die you republic dogs" the man continued to shout at them.

„He must have missed the message that we left the order apparently" said Trask calmly, this wasn't the first time a dark jedi had gone after them to first recruit them for their so called Sith Order and then to kill them when they refused. The last pair especially were a joke which is why he was confident in being able to take the man out but he would probably need Yuri's support.

„SG1 we take on the darksider while you keep those commando droids from shooting at us" he was relieved that the team didn't seem to have anything against that plan.

Quickly engaging the darksider with Yuri he struck him with 3 quick strikes which were all deflected while Yuri unsuccesfully tried to get some swings in from the darksiders back. This went on for a few moments in which Trask was surprised by the skill and speed of the darksider. He then got seperated from Yuri as she got hit on her knee which forced Trask on the defense as the darksider's attention was now solely on him. He got increasingly desperate as he blocked and evaded and blocked but there was nothing he could do.

„Looks like I and Yuri need to practice way more with our lightsabers. This should be way easier" at the moment he was in denial that he had a trained darksider in front of him as that would have implied way worse things. He heard a scream and saw that Yuri had gone down as she got hit again, this time by one of the commando droids.

„Dammit they still haven't finished dealing with those droids?". The little distraction allowed the darksider to score a major hit on Trask, cutting off his right arm and injuring him in several other places.

„Now you die jedi and then I will kill your padawan and those wretched traitors of bounty hunters" He raised his lightsaber and Trask prepared himself for his death 'forgive me Yuri' he thought and he closed his eyes... only for nothing to happen and after he heard a thud he opened them again. He saw the in pain on the ground rolling darksider. His allies had finally destroyed the droids and somehow managed to save his life.

He was relieved when he noticed Yuri being able to walk 'it can't be that bad then'. While she walked towards him she babbled excitedly „By the force trask I just saw something incredible you have to see what O'Neill can do"

„What are you talking about Yuri?" he asked curious as to what she meant.

SG1 had a hard time dealing with the droids. Their bullets were only dealing little damage to the droids who, as if they weren't hard to deal with enough, moved like humans and jumped around like acrobats.

'We really need to talk about that. I think it's time we upgrade our weapons or atleast get a second set because this proves that our projectile weapons aren't good enough against droids'. Even Teal'c's Jaffa-staff didn't manage to destroy them with one shot and most of the times they simply jumped out of the way before hit shots could reach them.

A scream of pain made her notice that Yuri had been taken out of the fight against the darkside and was cradling her leg so she shouted to her friends

„We need to cover her lets go". Covering Yuri didn't make the fight easier. By now the fight between Trask and the darksider was going on pretty far away from their position and Daniel had been injured by a stray shot from one of the droids. Their struggle against their enemies continued. Atleast 2 of the 10 droids had been taken out but at some point they managed to corner Teal'c. This was the turning point of the battle as Teal'c realised that his staff weapon was pretty much useless against such a mobile target and that his friends couldn't help him as they were quite busy aswell. As 3 doids advanced to his position he jumped out of his cover and before they could shoot had smashed two of them against eachother after which they were taken out of the fight. The third one didn't last very long either but he atleast managed to hit Teal'c twice in the arm which said Teal'c simply shrugged off.

Yuri by this point had managed to get up and saw that the tides were turning so she went to support her master, friend and father figure. A droid saw this and aimed to shoot her in the back. Sam and Teal'c were busy so it was on Jack to save her. Time suddenly seemed to slow down for him 'Use the force. You can do it' something whispered to him and as if he was in trance he thrust his hand out and the droid was pushed a little to the side by something invisible right in the moment it shot at Yuri so it only managed to hit her in her shoulder. Ignoring her yell of pain Jack didn't need to wait long for the next desperate situation as right after that the darksider disarmed Trask and was going for the killing blow. Something again whispered to him and he thrust his hand a second time forward with the intention of stopping the darksider from killing an innocent. Yellowish lightning shot out of his hands for two seconds hitting the darksider in his side and causing him to fall down in pain.

They had tried to interrogate the darksider but he committed suicide before they could get to anything. It was clear though that simply the appearence of him wasn't a good sign. „What do you make of this Trask? You're probably the expert of us here in this case" asked Sam.

„There are pretty much only two option I can think of and I don't like the first one and like the second one even less. This darksider wasn't just a random dark jedi attempting to form a new organisation of Sith, no if he was he wouldn't have straight up attacked us but instead would have tried to make us his followers. I am also disturbed by the amount of skill and awarenes in the force he had. He could have been a high ranking jedi that fell to the dark side but I find that unlikely. No I would have known him if he was."

„ And what's the second option?" asked Daniel.

„His skill implies that he has been trained somebody and if that's the case which I think it is than soon we will have much bigger problems than just slavers."

„What does this mean Trask?" asked his padawan

„It means, Yuri, that the Sith are back"
