Meet Naruko:

The shinobi ate in silence. All of them were deep in thought, thinking about the previous chapter. They had only read one chapter so far and already they were disturbed by what they'd learned. Hopefully, things would be better in the next chapter. Once everyone was finished eating, Minato asked the question. "So, who wants to read next?" he asked.

Tsunade raised her hand. "I would," she said. Minato handed her the book, and she flipped it open to where Obito had placed the bookmark.

The alarm going off broke Naruko's concentration as she finished the last of her katas. Turning her alarm off, she couldn't help but sigh. Today she was meeting the two genin hopefuls that were being assigned to her team. She wasn't trying to be a downer, but after four failed attempts at getting teammates, she was a little skeptical.

The group frowned. "That's sad," Rin said.

Kushina's eyes narrowed. "I wonder why all the previous candidates failed? Was it because they didn't understand the meaning behind the test, or did they just refuse to work with Naruko?" she asked.

Minato sighed. "I hope they just didn't understand the hidden meaning behind the test, but knowing the discrimination Naruko's gone through, I'm inclined to believe they didn't want to work with her," he said, a hint of anger in his voice.

Kakashi huffed. "Since when do shinobi get to choose who they work with? Ninja rule number three states that the Hokage is the one to choose team placements," he said, reciting from the ninja rule book. Obito rolled his eyes at Kakashi but said nothing, knowing his teammate was defending Naruko.

She would try to remain optimistic; as she really wanted to be part of a team. Even if that meant she had to share Kakashi-sensei's attention.

Minato smiled slyly at his student. "You know, Kakashi, it sounds like to me that Naruko is a little possessive of you," he said. The silver-haired Jonin blushed in embarrassment.

The good news was at least her teammates would be the same age as her. This year's graduating class was her original genin batch that she would have graduated with if she hadn't been forced to graduate early.

Tsunade frowned. "She was forced to graduate early? I've never heard of that happening during peacetime," she said.

Rin chewed her lip. "Maybe the villagers' mistreatment has something to do with it?" she said. Minato and Kushina frowned.

Obito looked confused, though. "Why wouldn't she want to graduate early?" he asked. Kakashi silently wondered the same thing.

The others shrugged.

Oh well, no use crying over spilled milk, she thought as she gathered up her things. She did a quick double check around the garden to make sure she hadn't forgotten anything. When it came to her home and garden, she was picky about how things looked. The garden especially had to be handled with care.

Obito tilted his head in thought. "I wonder why? Isn't it just flowers and some potted plants?" he asked.

The rest of the group rolled their eyes. Minato frowned. "Since Naruko doesn't seem to have many friends, those plants might be a substitute in their place," he said.

Obito blushed. "Well, when you put it like that," he said, embarrassed.

She had split it into four groups. The first group was where she grew her own vegetables and spice plants. She had figured out at an early age that the villagers were over charging her groceries, and as much as she wish she could survive on ramen, she knew that wasn't realistic. So combating this problem, she'd figured out that just because the vegetables she got were rotten didn't mean the seeds were. So she cut the seeds out and grew her own crops. The same went for spices. She'd made a deal with the Yamanaka flower shop to sell back whatever extra seeds or plants she had and in return, they would sell her the seeds at a discounted price.

Kushina gave a distraught sigh. "They tried starving her too?" she said, tears in her eyes.

Minato patted her hand, but anyone could see the rage in his eyes. "I'm not surprised, considering they already tried to defile her. At least Naruko is smart enough to figure out how to overcome these obstacles. Also, remember that this hasn't happened yet, so we can stop this from happening. However, if she wants to grow a garden, I'm all for it," he said.

Jiraiya whistled. "I'm impressed, though. For someone as young as Naruko, to come up with a solution to her problems without help is amazing, and a business deal with the Yamanaka's? Even I wouldn't have thought of that," he said. The others nodded in agreement.

Her first crop hadn't been bad, but hadn't been amazing either. However, she'd learned from her mistakes and the next crop had done much better. She'd even had enough to share with Kakashi-sensei, who also shared her love of vegetables.

Obito looked at his teammate weirdly. "You like vegetables?" he asked.

Kakashi ignored him though, as he was far too touched from hearing how Naruko shared her crops with him. "She really didn't need to do that. I mean, I can buy my own vegetables," he said.

Minato smiled. "It's okay, Kakashi, I'm sure sharing with you makes Naruko feel good, so don't feel guilty," he said. Kushina nodded in agreement with him.

Rin smiled. "That's so sweet of her to do that, though," she said.

The other half of the garden was used to grow medical and poison plants. So far, she had more medical herbs than poison, but that was only because her spice plants could be used for either cooking or medical purposes. However, the poison plants that she had she was very proud of. So far, she had Aconitum, Alocasia odora, Datura, and Illicium anisatum.

Tsunade's eyes widened. "Those plants can make some pretty dangerous poisons. I hope she knows what she's doing," she said, a hint of worry in her voice.

Kushina frowned. "I hope you're monitoring her, Kakashi," she said with worry in her voice.

Kakashi tilted his head. "I'm sure that I am, but out of curiosity how dangerous are these plants?" he asked.

Tsunade looked at the young Jonin with the most serious expression he'd ever seen her make. "I won't go over every plant as that would take too long, so I'll pick aconitum to use as an example. Its poison is a powerful neurotoxin and cardiotoxic. Enough of it can kill you in two hours," she said.

Kakashi's eyes widened in surprise. Obito looked petrified. "That's insane! If those plants are so dangerous, then why does Naruko have access to them?" he said.

Kakashi rolled his eyes at Obito. "Well, she is a kunoichi Obito. She probably dips her weapons in them," he said.

Obito growled. "Why does she need so many, though? Isn't one dangerous plant enough?" he asked. No one answered him.

Those were enough for her traps and seals for right now, but she definitely planned on getting more and adding to her collection. Poison was one of the best tools to take down an opponent quickly.

Kakashi nodded in agreement. "I like how she thinks," he said.

Obito growled. "Of course you do," he said in a mumble.

Rin shook her head at her teammates. Seriously, those two could get on her nerves sometimes.

Jiraiya raised an eyebrow up in curiosity, as he had taken note of something specific. "Wait a minute? Did she just say seals?" he said.

Minato's eyes widened. "Yeah, she did," he said with slight excitement.

Kushina's eyes widened as well. "I hope she is into sealing," she said.

The rest of the garden she had turned into a makeshift training field. She had added grass, a fish pond with koi fish, fruit trees and wooden training post to practice kunai and shuriken throwing.

Rin's eyes lit up. "Oh wow! That sounds amazing. I wish we could see it," she said.

No sooner had the words left her lips that a message appeared on the television screen. "At the end of the chapter, you will get your chance," it read.

Obito and Rin smiled. "Yes!" they said, fist pumping.

Determining that everything was immaculate and the traps and seals she'd added for security were working properly, she hurried inside to put away her things. Coming back in; she found her shadow clones had finished cleaning for the day. "Thank you, girls," she said before dispelling them.

Jiraiya smirked. "Well, kids, it looks like Naruko is going to carry on your legacy," he said, grinning.

Minato and Kushina beamed with pride. Obito was confused, though. "Uh, sensei? Why did Naruko thank her clones?" he asked.

The blonde Jonin sensei smiled over at his student. "Obito, shadow clones are not regular bunshins, they are actual clones. So in a way she's talking to an extension of herself," he said.

Obito made an oh face.

Ah, she loved the shadow clone jutsu. It made everything easier. She'd been skeptical at first when Sandaime-sama had given her the jutsu scroll. After all, there was nothing wrong with her poison clones. Okay, that wasn't entirely true as they could cause serious harm, but she'd only hurt Mizuki-teme, so it really wasn't a big deal.

Tsunade's jaw hit the ground. "She made clones out of poison?" she said in shock.

Kakashi eyed the slug sannin. "Is there a problem with that, Tsunade-sama?" he asked.

Tsunade sighed. "It's not really a problem. It's just that many medical ninja including myself, have tried to create a poison clone but have failed. I'd like very much to know how she pulled it off," she said.

The group's eye widened. Kushina grinned. "You mean to tell me my baby created a jutsu that others failed to achieve? I'm so proud!" she said.

She still got a good laugh whenever she remembered the Sandaime's face when he'd called her to his office. You would think the man had never seen a new jutsu before. Of course, that wasn't even the best part of that day.

The group all leaned forward curiously when a dinging noise caught their attention. Looking up at the television, they were surprised to find a message. "Turn the television on. You're gonna wanna watch this," it said.

Kushina grabbed the remote and flipped it on.

The screen came on, revealing a five-year-old Naruko dressed in a blue chinese top with white shorts and black ninja sandals. In her hair was a blue headband. The girl was standing across from the Sandaime who was puffing away on his pipe with a defiant look on her face. The two were locked in a staring contest, neither one willing to break the silence.

Kushina's eyes were alight with excitement as she studied her daughter. With her blond hair, blue eyes, and pale complexion, she looked like an angel. "Now how could anyone want to harm something that innocent?" she wondered.

Minato's blue eyes softened as he stared at his daughter across the screen. She was a perfect mixture of him and Kushina. A wave of sadness and anger hit him. "How could anyone hurt someone so innocent?" he wondered. However, he couldn't stop a small smile from forming as he watched the standoff between the Sandaime and Naruko.

It was the Sandaime who broke the silence. "Naruko, do you know why you're here?" he asked.

The little girl sighed but nodded. "Yes, Sandaime-sama. I do," she said.

Hiruzen took a deep puff of his pipe. "So, do you want to explain to me why you created a potentially lethal jutsu and performed it at the academy where one of your instructors was hurt because of it?" he said.

The eyes in the room widened. Kushina giggled. "My baby isn't even out of the academy yet and is already creating lethal jutsu. I'm so proud," she said.

Naruko frowned and furrowed her eyebrows. "In my defense, sir. I warned Mizuki-sensei to be careful, but he didn't heave my warning. It's not my fault that he got hurt because of his own stupidity," she said.

Obito looked at Kakashi accusingly. "It seems your sarcasm has rubbed off on Naruko," he said.

Kakashi ignored his teammate. After all, it wasn't his fault if Naruko mimicked him. Plus, Naruko was right. If the academy instructor didn't listen to her warning, he got what he deserved.

The Sandaime took another puff of his pipe. "Iruka did mention that. That's not what I'm concerned about. What I'm worried about is why you created a clone jutsu using poison," he said.

Naruko tilted her head. "Are you asking me why I made a new clone jutsu, or why I needed to?" she asked.

Hiruzen eyed her curiously. "Both dear," he said.

Naruko nodded. "Well, I could have done a normal bunshin. Kami knows I've been working on getting perfect control of my chakra, but after studying the jutsu I didn't think it was beneficial for me to waste my time learning it. A normal bunshin does nothing, nor does it help anyone in battle. So, I thought, why not create a clone that would," she said.

Hiruzen looked impressed. "That's very smart of you, but what inspired you to use poison?" he asked.

The little girl grinned. "Well, I found this book in a training field when I was searching for weapons. It was written by someone named Chiyo from Sunagakure, and she talked about all these different poisons and how they could be used in battle. That reminded me how in every book I've read about kunoichi they described poison as her best friend. So I decided since I needed a bunshin technique to pass the academy why not create a clone that could take down the enemy," she said, explaining her reasons.

Jiraiya's eyes widened as he turned to stare at Tsunade. "Chiyo? As in the same Lady Chiyo you were rivals with during the Second Shinobi War?" he asked in surprise.

Tsunade's eyes were wide. "It must be, as that's the only Chiyo I'm aware of that lives in Suna and is a master of poison. I didn't know she'd written a book?" she said in interest.

Minato looked thoughtful. "It was probably a book that was just for Suna shinobi. I bet whoever lost it is kicking him or herself," he said.

Kakashi rolled his eyes. "That shinobi is an idiot. I mean, what shinobi worth their sense brings a book exclusive for their village to a foreign one? Even if we're allies now doesn't mean we won't be enemies later," he said.

The others nodded in agreement.

Rin smiled softly. "I doubt Naruko realizes that and is just seeing the information in the book as a helpful ninja tool," she said.

Hiruzen blinked in surprise. "Chiyo? As in Lady Chiyo of Sunagakure? Well, I wasn't expecting that. I'll have to see if I can't talk Naruko into handing over that book," he thought.

Jiraiya blinked. "We can hear thoughts?" he said.

Obito grinned. "That's cool," he said.

Minato smirked. "I have a feeling Naruko will not give up the book," he said.

Hiruzen sighed. "The academy guidelines state you have to make a bunshin to pass," he said.

Naruko smirked. "No, the academy guidelines said it had to be a viable clone. It didn't say it had to be just a bunshin. Don't you read the fine print?" she asked.

Kushina's lips quiver for a moment before she bust out laughing. "Ha! Ha! my baby got the Sandaime," she said.

Hiruzen stares at her a moment before he burst out laughing. "You got me there, my dear. Alright, how about I make a deal with you?" he asks.

Naruko's eyes narrow. "What kind of deal?" she asks.

Hiruzen smirks before pulling out a small scroll out of his pocket. "If you promise me not to use that jutsu again during the academy, I'll let you learn the shadow clone jutsu," he said.

Naruko quirks an eyebrow. "What's wrong with my poison clones? They work just fine," she said.

Hiruzen laughs nervously. "Yes, that's true. The problem dear is that your jutsu is considered a lethal jutsu and those are band in the academy," he said.

Naruko sighs. "They won't hurt anybody as long as you keep a safe distance. I told Mizuki-sensei not to touch it, but he didn't believe me," she said.

Tsunade chuckled. "She's doesn't want to lose this argument," she said.

Hiruzen smiles gently. "I understand that, but the rules are the rules. Plus, there are lots of benefits to learning the Shadow Clone technique," he said.

Naruko quirks an eyebrow up. "Can I read about the technique before I agree, Hokage-sama?" she asked.

Jiraiya gaps at the screen before turning to Minato. "I take that back, Minato. I think your daughter might be smarter than all of us in the room," he said.

The Sandaime nods as he hands her the scroll. The five-year-old carefully read over the contents before quirking an eyebrow up at the hokage. "Alright, Sandaime-sama. I'll agree to not use my poison clone jutsu at the academy for the shadow clone technique. However, I would like to add a clause to the agreement," she said.

The Sandaime quirked an eyebrow. "What kind of clause?" he asks.

Naruko looked at him with a serious expression. "I want a stipulation that allows me to use the poison clone jutsu at the academy or out of the academy if I'm attacked," she said.

Hiruzen frowned. "Has someone been giving you trouble again, Naruko?" he asked.

The excitement in the room dies when everyone hears this. Kushina growls. She was getting pissed off at people threatening her baby.

Naruko bit her lip. "Not exactly, but Mizuki-sensei keeps giving me weird looks and he keeps touching me even though I've asked him not to," she said.

The group frowns. That did not sound good.

Hiruzen frowned. "I thought I warned the sensei's at the academy not to touch Naruko without her permission. Looks like I'm going to have to talk to Mizuki about personal space," he thought before nodding at Naruko. "Alright Naruko, I agree to the clause," he said.

Naruko gave him a grateful smile. "Thank you, Hokage-sama. Also, can I get that in writing, please?" she asked.

Hiruzen nodded and wrote the agreement down quickly before marking it with his seal. He handed it to Naruko, who read it just to make sure it was all correct. She smiled. "If that's all Hokage-sama, am I dismissed?" she asked.

Hiruzen sighed. "Yes, you're dismissed, dear," he said, waving her off.

Naruko saluted, turning to leave, but stopped. "Uh, Hokage-sama, can I ask you a question?" she asked.

The Sandaime tilted his head. "Yes, what is it?" he asked.

Naruko quirked an eyebrow up. "I was just wondering if the Shadow Clone jutsu is so great. Why you don't use it to do your paperwork?" she asked.

The group froze as eyes widened as what the little girl asked registered. Jiraiya's body began to shake and suddenly exploded in laughter. "Oh Kami, she finally broke the secret to him," he laughed.

Tsunade's mouth was on the floor. "What! So there is a way to get around the dreaded curse of paperwork," she said.

Minato face palmed. "You know, I didn't even think about that," he said.

The Sandaime stared at Naruko, who stared back. The room suddenly grew silent, so quiet in fact that an Anbu jumped down to check the Hokage for a pulse. Then all hell broke loose. "Yosh! Today I will finally conquer this dreaded curse called paperwork! To hell with all of you!" he shouted, pointing at all the stacks of papers that littered his office.

The group sweat dropped watching this. Tsunade looked away from the screen, abashed. "I never realized how much the stress was getting to sensei," she said.

It got so loud inside that Hiruzen's secretary walked in with a pitcher of water and, without warning, dumped it over his head. "Calm down, Hokage-sama. The child is watching," she said.

Naruko was already gone, whistling a pretty tune all the way home.

The television screen shut off. The shinobi in the room calmed themselves before Tsunade picked the book up again.

She smirked. Not everyone could say the Hokage gave them a jutsu just so they wouldn't use another. She checked the clock. She still had some time before she had to be at the academy, but she was the type that liked to be punctual. It was important to her to make a good first impression on her teammates; as she wanted them to see she was reliable and trustworthy.

Kakashi looked at the book in approval. "Good girl," he said.

Obito rolled his eyes; he was so tired of everyone getting on his case about being on time. "Great, another time, freak. You know being on time isn't everything Kakashi baka," he said.

The silver-haired Jonin was about to retort, but a glare from Tsunade shut him up.

After putting her things away; she checked to make sure she was ready before leaving. Her shinobi outfit comprised a black sleeveless top with ninja tape underneath, black arm warmers that had metal arm protectors with shinobi fingerless gloves, white shinobi shorts with a special black belt that she'd modified with an infinite number of storage seals that held everything under the sun she needed, black stockings, and black shinobi sandals. On her forehead she wore her black clothed hitate. She had strapped two kunai holsters to her left leg; one kept her kunai and the other one held her chakra scalpels. Her katana was sealed away in her weapons pouch, which was attached to her belt. In her ears she wore two small black diamond shaped earrings that could act as a chakra suppressor or chakra replenishers. As for her hair, she wore her long blond and red hair in twin buns on top of her head with short bangs covering her forehead. She was almost ready for the day. She just needed one more thing.

Tsunade and Kushina's eyes widened. "That's sounds just like Mito-sama," the two thought at the same time.

Obito snorted. "Gosh, isn't that a bit of overkill?" he asked.

The shinobi in the room gawked at him. Kakashi rolled his eyes. "Obito, shinobi rule number one is always be prepared for anything," he said.

Minato sighed. "You also have to consider the villagers' treatment of her. That probably also has something to do with it," he said.

Tsunade glared at the Uchiha. "Obito. Naruko is a female and a kunoichi. Those two things put together are a dangerous combo. She doesn't have the same strength as her male companions, so she must compensate that by always being hyper vigilant against attacks. The shinobi world is a dangerous place, but it's even more dangerous for a female. Remember that," she said. Kushina and Rin nodded in agreement.

Obito's eyes widened; he'd never thought of that. "I see, but does she need so many weapons since she has Kushina-nee's chakra chains?" he asked.

Kushina blinks as that news finally dawns on her. "Oh yeah! I can't believe that got past me. That's a bit of a shock to me though," she says.

Everyone sweat drops. Rin tilts her head, confused. "Why is that Kushina-nee?" she asks.

Kushina turns to look at her. "Because that means Naruko inherited my special chakra. It's not a bad thing, but I would have thought she'd inherit Minato's," she said.

Minato looked thoughtful hearing this. "Maybe she inherited your chakra because of her being female? Back to your question, Obito. It wouldn't be smart for Naruko to rely on her chains to save her. Why? Because what if she got caught by an enemy shinobi? The first thing they are going to do is seal off her chakra," he said.

Obito sweat dropped; he hadn't thought of that either.

She bit her thumb as she walked over to her bed. Bending down, she smeared blood over the hidden compartment she'd built under her bed frame. Hearing a small click, she reached under her bed and pulled out a small scroll. Biting her thumb again, she smeared blood over the security seal she placed on it. The seal glowed before a puff of smoke appeared, revealing a large storage container. Opening it, she couldn't help but smile down at her collection of hair accessories and jewelry all of which she'd made herself.

Obito face planted. "She went to all that trouble just to hide some stupid hair accessories and jewelry?" he said, disappointed.

Kakashi rolled his eyes. "Shut up, dobe," he said.

They were her pride and joy. Each one of the beautiful pieces held carefully hidden weapons. The idea had come to her after observing how people react to things. She'd noticed that people let their guards down around pretty things compared to things of less beauty. Also, it occurred to her that if she was captured by an enemy, they would look for the obvious weapons, but they wouldn't suspect a necklace or hair bow as having a hidden blade or a seal ready to release senbon needles into their eyes.

Jiraiya's mouth fell open in stunned disbelief. He turned and looked at Minato and Kushina in shock. "I don't believe it! For Naruko to come up with such an idea just from observing human reactions is amazing!" he said.

Rin's eyes lit up with interest. "You know, that isn't such a bad idea. If more kunoichi had weapons like that, it could help us win the war," she said, getting nods in agreement from the room.

Today she went with her newest creation, a black bow that was filled with tear gas. She attached it to her right hair bun. Quickly she sealed away everything before heading towards the front door, but stopped. The clones hadn't fed the puffer fish today.

All as one, the room chorused. "Puffer fish?" they said.

The puffer fish were not just pets, but also a tool. The fish were poisonous and after some careful study, she'd come up with a way to milk the fish for their poison without killing them. It was a relief to her, as she didn't want to kill the fish just for their poison.

Rin's eyes softened. "That's sweet of her to care about the fish like that," she said.

The fish had also brought her an extra source of income, as the Anbu and Torture and Interrogation department had made business contracts with her for the poison. They helped her pay for the Aquariums up keep and in return they got some of the poison at a lower price. Putting her fingers into a ram sign, she summoned five clones. "Alright girls, one of you please feed the fish and then dispel. As for the rest of you, I want you to henge into furniture to guard the apartment," she said.

Jiraiya whistled. "It seems Naruko has a mind for business. To have three contracts within the village at her age is impressive. Also, using her clones to guard her apartment is smart," he said.

Minato nodded. "I'm so proud of my little girl. Making government and business deals at such a young age. I also have to agree with you, Jiraiya-sensei, having her clones henge into objects to act as hidden guards. I've never even thought of that idea," he said.

Kushina smiled. "My daughter is so creative I have a feeling she'd be able to come up with some amazing new seals," she said.

The clones saluted and went to do their task. Seeing her clones had everything handled, she hollered. "Bye Daddy, Mama, Aunt Mito, Uncle Hashirama, Uncle Tobirama, Grandpa Sakumo. I'll see you guys later," she said as she walked out the door.

Kakashi's head snapped up and his eyes widened the moment he heard Naruko say his father's name. The older shinobi in the room gave the teen cautious stares, knowing that Sakumo was a touchy subject for the child. Obito scrunched his eyebrows up. "Isn't Sakumo, your father's name?" he asked.

Kakashi gave a tight nod. "Yes, which is why I'm wondering why she's calling him Grandpa," he said.

Minato's eyes softened. "Maybe you two are closer than just sensei and student. Perhaps Naruko has come to see you as a father figure," he said.

Kakashi's eyes widened, and he looked away, embarrassed. "I'm sorry, sensei," he said.

Minato shook his head. "Don't be. I'm actually relieved at least someone is watching out for her," he said.

As she was locking the door, she noticed her neighbor Sara-san watching her out her window. She gave a friendly salute to the woman, who gave her a curt nod in return. Sara was her elderly neighbor who at first despised Naruko. Naruko, however, had put the old woman in her place when she'd started harassing her. For instance, when Sara had started calling the Konoha police force on her for every move she made, like simply taking out her trash; the girl made her look like an idiot by filling trash bags with leaves and making it look like she was burying a body. When the Police had shown up and searched the bags that supposedly had bodies in them only to find leaves, they'd been more than annoyed to say the least. The Konoha police force told the old woman to quit calling them after that.

The room busted out laughing, and even Kakashi, who was still up tight about his father, gave a small grin. "Ok, I'll admit that's funny," he said.

Minato looked over at Kushina. "It seems our daughter has inherited your love of pranking," he said with a grin.

Kushina placed a hand over her heart. "I'm so proud," she said.

When calling the police hadn't worked Sara had then tried to get Naruko evicted. This didn't work either because Naruko kept her apartment both inside and out in tip top shape. She'd whitewashed the apartment building, had stained the old balcony and added flower boxes on the windows. Plus, her rooftop garden was visible to passerby's and had become a sorta attraction to people visiting the village. All of these things helped raise the value of the neighborhood, which led to the landlords being happy. So they left her alone.

Kushina's eyes lit up. "That sounds beautiful. I can't wait to see it" she said.

Tsunade nodded in agreement. "It makes me curious what the inside looks like," she said.

After that Sara had finally quit being so harsh on her. She still glared at her but at least she was no longer trying to make trouble for her. Naruko smiled as she took to the rooftops. Some situations could be handled without the need for weapons or words.

Tsunade nodded in approval. "That's very mature of her," she said.

Her journey to the academy was uneventful as no one could bother her on the rooftops. She sighed. The village had slowly started changing its treatment of her after she'd graduated early. The change in attitude meant nothing to her though. After all, one does not just get over one hundred and two assassination attempts easily.

Minato's mouth fell open. "One hundred and two assassination attempts! An by her own village," he said gritting his teeth. His blue eyes were once again frosty with anger.

Kushina's eyes were wailing with tears. "How could they? I just don't understand it," she said.

Rin stared at the book in horror. "I don't think I'll ever look at the village the same way again," she said.

She understood that they were hurt by the Kyubi attack. However, that did not give them the right to treat her worse than scum. Unfortunately, the village seemed to have a nasty habit of demonizing people. Grandpa Sakumo was a good example of this. It was disgusting that they drove such a kind and generous hero to commit suicide, and even more disgusting how they'd hurt her Daddy by doing so.

Kakashi's eyes widened and his lip trembled. "Hero? She thinks my father is a hero?" he said in disbelief.

Obito looked over at his teammate. "Isn't he though? I mean anyone who puts their teammates and friends first is a hero in my book. Screw what the village says. Also, Naruko just addressed you as Daddy," he said smirking.

Minato smiled at his students. "It's true Kakashi, your father was indeed a hero," he said. The older shinobi nodded in agreement with him.

Kakashi looked away. He wasn't sure how he felt about that.

Fortunately for them she forgave them; just like she forgave her daddy in heaven for sealing the nine-tails in her.

The book dropped out of Tsunade's hands as she stared at Minato in disbelief. Slowly she pointed a finger at him. "It was you? You sealed the Kyubi into Naruko?" she said in disbelief.

Minato had gone rigid and his blue eyes were wide in horror. "I, I don't know what to say," he said.

Kushina growled. "How could you Minato! How could you curse are child like that!" she said shaking.

Jiraiya sensing a fight was about to break out put his hands up in a time out. "Alright everyone. Let's take a break from reading. Minato and Kushina need to talk," he said.

Everyone nodded.

Author's note: I got the information on the poison plants from the Bureau of Social welfare and Public Health, Tokyo Metropolitan Government.

Hey everyone, I have a question for you. I'm thinking of adding some of the Uchiha clan members to this story. Specifically, Fugaku, Mikoto, Itachi, Shisui, Inabi, Tekka, and Yashiro Uchiha. My reasoning being maybe if they see how their actions destroy the clan they will change their ways and vice verse. Also, is their anyone else you'd like me to consider adding. I will only be doing this one time and I'd like to do it before I right Naruko meeting her friends at the academy. So please review and let me know.

Also, please tell me what you think of the story so far. Thank you, Nerdzone6.
