I have no idea when it's gonna penetrate peoples thick heads that any "I love your stories bro, they're hilarious lmao" (or any variation of "praise" where you're praising the stories as memes) 'reviews' are gonna be removed and won't go public.
I should point out that I'm talking about reviews that threat the premise of hurting ugly people in the stories as an attempt at ironic black-humour and like the stories for that reason. Obviously my stories do have comedy in them, but that's different to treating the core premise, or the ideology in theme, as a joke. The comedy in my stories is never meant to be aimed at the ideology, nor am I sure why anyone seems to have that the ideas presented in them are so absurdist that they can only be meant ironically. It completely baffles me why this seems so difficult for some people to grasp, but somehow people just can't seem to wrap their heads around this.
Like I said before, I can't tell how much of this is people giving me sincere praise out of ignorance, and how much is people doing it on purpose to get under my skin, but it's legitimately beginning to piss me off. I almost want the latter to be true, but I'm not so big-headed that I can't imagine it's actually the former. But it's most likely a mixture of the two.
None of this is going anyway to make me dislike this fandom any less. If anything, it's having the opposite effect.
Anyway, this is the last time I'm gonna bring this up, because I don't wanna draw attention to this and make the issue worse. I just had to get this out there.
