89. Courage

Hello and welcome to the next chapter of Tales of Tamers Xilla! Oh man I am so excited for this chapter as were going to see one of my favorite Digimon appear in it. Now let get to the chapter already. Last time on Tales of Tamers Xilla: The gang have finally return to Vale, the place it all started for them. Now that they were here, they need to find a way to Beacon. Yang took them to Junior old night club to use as a base as they plan out their next move. They decided to head to the airfield to find a ship to tke them to Beacon without getting spotted. but they ran into The Dusk Bringers along the way. The gang split up to face them one on one. The Tamers were able to hold them off as Misuru reveals to be on the Tamers side as the Dusk Bringers fall back. Now the gang return to rest before they attempt to continue their mission.

Chapter 89

Courage

Normal Pov: Beacon tower: Upon return to the tower, Angela was very unhappy due to Misuru betrayal have left the girl enrage. She let out a scream as she blasts at the stone Grimm and blew off it head. Vupimon appear next to her to place a comforting claw on her Tamer shoulder. "Angie please calm down, there no point getting upset." She said as Angela took a deep breath. "I just don't understand it Vupimon, I'm sure I did a deep background check on Misuru to have him on the Dusk Bringers. He has no connection to the Tamers. So, how did was he a spy for them?" She ask. "I don't know, speaking of your teammates what about the rest of them?" Vupimon ask. "Aiko and Drake are clear, And Ichi and Tri are my friends, so they know their place. As for Mira I have her wrap around my finger like the fish she is." Angela said with a smirk. "Good to know you have everything under control." A voice said. They turn to see Parallelmon. Angela crosses her arms and glare at the mega. "I take it your here for a report?" She ask. "I am what has transpired?" He ask.

"The Tamers are here in Vale; they were trying to reach the city airfield in a attempt to find passage to Beacon." Angela said. "I see, Lord Grimmon have sent some soldiers to assist you. One of them will be sent to the airfield to deal with the Tamers. Also Cinder will be arriving soon to open the vault." He said. "Won't do much good since we haven't gotten the key to the gate from the Tamers, but I'll greet her when she shows now go." She said as Parallelmon vanish. "Vupimon we can't fail for Jayden's sake." Angela said as she looks to the horizon with a sad expression. Vupimon look at her Tamer in worry. "Angie, I promise I will not let you feel this pain again." She thought. Takato Pov: After our run in with the Dusk Bringers, we went back to the club. When we got back, we were greeted by the others. "You guys found us a ride?" Koga ask. "No, we have a run in Kenji bitch of a sister and her pals." Zoey said. "My sister here?" Kenji ask. "Look like it, since this is the last relic, Salem is pulling out all the stops. Chances were going to run into Cinder too." I said.

"But on the upside, we did find an old friend." Hiro said as Misuru step up. "Hey guys it been a while." He said as Kokoro walk to him. "M-isuru is it really you?" She ask as she starts to cry. He smiles as he pulls her close to him. "It really me Kokoro, I finally found my way to you. I miss you." He said. She wraps her arm around him. "I miss you too." She said. "Aw that so sweet." Elize said. "So, this guy is the last of your crew bro?" Argo ask. "That right, Misuru where have you been?" Goro ask. "Mantle laying low until what happen in Atlas. Before that I was watching the Vytal festival. I was surprise to see Hiro and Zero two in it, more when they lost in the doubles round. Anyway, a month before Angela came to mean about joining her team. I didn't trust her, so I decided to keep an eye on her. After that I ran into Ikuno."Misuru said. "Misuru told me of Angela plan to gather Tamers and of his intend to find out why. I wanted to know as well so he would send me any info he gathers. Then you all came to Mantle, and everything makes sense. Sorry for not informing you, we thought it would work better with less people knowing about it." Ikuno said.

"Then we need to go over everything you have on then." Erika said. "Right." Misuru said. "Ok, it is getting late, we should get some rest. In the morning I will take a team to the airfield to find anything useful." I said. "Well night then come on Darling." Zoey said dragging the boy off. "I see some things haven't change." Misuru said with a chuckle. "You have no idea." Zorome said. Rika walk up to me. "Takato, are you sure we should let this guy join us?" She ask as she glares at Misuru. "I'm wary of him too love, but he is Hiro friend. Don't worry will keep an eye on him. Come on let get some sleep." I said as we turn in for the night. They next day, me, Jerico, Keisuke, Erika, Kenji, Yang and Kokoro were making our way through Vale. We're hoping we can make it to the airfield this time without getting attack. Qrow and Raven told us that the others path to the school was either destroy or were crawling with too many Grimm to fight. And it really didn't help us that the school was on a damn chiff. "Surprise you wanted to come with us Koko, I thought you would want to spend time with your boyfriend." Yang said with her hands behind her head.

"I'm fine, I can talk to him later, right now he needs to give Goro and the others all the information he has." Kokoro said. "Any info on our enemies would be helpful in the long run." Keisuke said. "1st rule of being a hacker." Zubamon said. Erika let out a small giggle. "Now you're starting to sound like Chitose Keisuke." She said. "Who Chitose?" Jerico ask. "A member of Hudie and a total perv; he would chase anything with a skirt." Keisuke said in a flat tone. "He sounds like uncle Qrow." Yang said as we came to the remains of the airfield. "Ok everyone, fan out and see if you can find a flyable ship." I said as we split up. Me and Guilmon walk around the airfield to see most of the ships were thrash. "No good, most of them are wreck." I said as Guilmon ear drop. I pet hi on the head. "Don't worry boy, I'm sure we'll find something we can use." I said. "Ok Takatomon." He said. "Everyone I found one!" Kokoro call out. We head over to where she was to find a large ship. It was missing some armor and an engine but overall, it looks to be in good shape. "What you think Jerico?" I ask as the orange hair boy walk over to enter it. He was looking it over.

"Well, several parts are damage and need to be replace and there the missing engine, but overall, I think we can get this bird in the air." He said with a grin. "Ok, make a list of what you need, and we'll look around the airfield for them." I said. We soon got to work, after an hour of searching me and Jerico were in one of the ship gathering parts. Jerico suddenly spoke up. "Hey Takato, aren't you worry about the future?" He ask. I look to him as I place a part into the makeshift bin we been using. "A little bit, but not too much since I got everyone with me to help me through it. Why you ask?" I ask. He sighs. 'I'm a little scare of what to come after everything that happen." He said. I raise an eyebrow. "You scare, it's strange Hearding that coming from you. You normally jump first into the action." I said. I saw he look worry. "That a mask I put on for Solene, I guess I been scared ever since Atlas." He said. He looks to me. "How can you deal with it; you went head on with both Salem and Grimmon." He said. I place my hand on his shoulder. "I'm scare too Jerico, but I try not to let it stop me. True courage come from being able to accept your fear." I said.

"Accept my fear." He said as we exit the ship. We made our way back to the others as they have gathered crate of spare parts and a engine that Yang most likely drag. "So will all of this work?" Yang ask. "Look like it, the mechanics and the computer systems need a complete overhaul for it will take a few days and then we need to concet the engine." Jerico said. "We'll leave it to you." Kenji said. "We should have some of guard the ship while we make the repairs." Gaomon said. But then the other Digimon start to growl. We look to see several Grimm surrounded us. "Well that figures." Bearmon said. "Keep them from the ship!" I shout as we charge at them. "Slash wing!" I shout as I cut a beowolf down. "Rock breaker!" Guilmon shout as he smashes his claw on a creep. Kenji shot a lighting dust round into a charging Boaratusk to take it out. "Teen ram!" Hackmon shout as he tackles into a Grimm. Jerico jumps onto a ursa back and shot it in the head. "Pepper breath!" Agumon shout as he shot a fire ball at a few nevermores. Keisuke aim his shotgun to blow off a creep head.

"20 dive!" Zubamon shout as he tackles another. "Stickily net!" Wormmon shout as she ties a few of them up. Yang slams her fist into a beo wolf sending it to roll into a few more. "Bear fist!" Bearmon shout as he punches a boaratusk in the face. Kokoro shot her cannon at a tajisu and blast a hole through it chest. "Rolling upper!" Gaomon shout as he uppercut an ursa. " Shit here come some more." Kenji said as we saw another group moving in. Kokoro step up. "Leave it to me." She said as her eyes gains blue flames around them. She held her hand up as the wind pick up around the Grimm, she let out a cry as a large tornedo form and blow the Grimm away. She then fell to her knees as her eye's flames went out. "Damn Koko, that was awesome." Yang said as she helps Kokoro up. "When did you learn that?" Jerico ask impressed. "Miss Raven, since she the oldest Maiden among us she has much to teach us. I'm still getting the hang of this power." She said. "Either way it gonna come in handy." Agumon said. "It looks like we are clear, let get back to work." Erika said as the ground suddenly start to shakes.

"I think you spoke too soon." Yang said. I look to a few feet ahead of us to see the ground was cracking. "Oh, it gonna be a big one." Bearmon said as the ground explodes. We saw something climbing out of it. It was a large machine-like lizard; his right claw was that of 3 triangle points while the other was 3 blade like claws. His head was black with empty eyes with two horns going backward. Lastly, he has a pair of large cannons on his back. Keisuke check his D-arc. "[Machinedramon mega level machine Digimon. A ruthless mech build from the remains of others, he will destroy his targets with his giga cannon attack.]" He said. "It not just that he one of the dark masters." I said. Machinedramon chuckles. "Indeed, I am Digi Destined, this time I will destroy you." He said. "Like you'll get the chance bolt brain." Yang said. "Let go guys." I said. "Biomerge Activate!" We shout.

Tamers vs Machinedramon

I charge at Machinedramon as I jump and stabs my lance at his head. He quickly slap me away with his claw. "Welghiest!" Jesmon shout as he sent his spirits at the machine, only for them to bounce off the armor. "Zwei glanze!" Durandalmon shout as he slashes Machinedramon across the chest. He laughs. "Those tickles." He said as he knocks the sword Digimon away. "Flying kick!" Hudiemon shout as she kicks at him. Suddenly a white energy whip shout from his tail and knock her back. "Corona sanctions!" Marsmon shout as he punches at the dark master. Machinedramon grabs him and slam the god man into the ground. "Full moon blaster!" Miragegaogamon shout as he shout his chest beam at him. Machinedramon growls. "Enough games, Giga cannon!" He shout as he shot a pair of gold beams from his cannon. The attack blast us off of our feet as he marches over to us. He was standing over me. "Time to end this." He said as he got ready to run his claw through me. "Pepper breath!" Agumon shout as he shot Machinedramon in the face.

Machinedramon look to see him and Jerico. "Stay out of this cowards, you should know to fear my power." He said. Jerico sigh. "It true I been scare ever since the mess in Atlas, but I can't let it stop me. If it mean I can protect my friends and family then I will face my fear head on!" He shout. "Me too, I'll fight with you no matter what!" Agumon shout. "Your heard us rust breath were not afraid of you!" They shout as Jerico D-arc glows a bright orange. "Let go Agumon." Jerico said. "Right Jer." He said. "Biomerge activate!" Shout Jerico as they were cover by light. (Play Digimon adventure 2020 break the chains.)

Agumon biomerge to Wargreymon

Wargreymon was a tall orange skin dragon man about the same size as me. His chest and head were cover in sliver armor, he has 3 horns, red hair and green eyes. He has gold shoulder pads and red and grey knees pads. On his arms were large gold gauntlets with 3 long blade like claws, on his back were a pair of half hexagon like wings. [Wargreymon mega level Dragon man Digmon. Arm with the powerful dramon destroyers, no one is a match for his Brave shield, Brave tornedo and Terra force attacks.] Wargreymon look at Machinedramon and chuckles. "Ok metal mouth trill me." He said taunting the dark master.

Wargreymon vs Machinedramon

Machinedramon let out a roar in fury. "You, I will not lose to you again!" He shout as he ran at Wargreymon as he thrust his claw out. "Brave tornedo!" Wargreymon shout as he turns into an orange twister and flew into Machinedramon right claw tearing it to bits up to the elbow. This cause Machinedramon to step back. "Gah die you bastard Giga cannon!' He screams as he shot his cannon at the dragon man. "Brave shield!" Wargreymon shout as he uses his wings to block the blast. He then charges at Machinedramon and gave him a barrage of claws slashes leaving gashes on him. "Your done bucket head." Wargreymon said as he forms a ball of orange energy in his claws. He lifts it over his head as it gotten 10 times bigger. "Terra force!" He shout as he threw it at Machinedramon. The dark master cries out as the attack engulf him, when the smoke clears, we saw Machinedramon still standing. His armor was crack all over and his cannons were gone as he sparks. "This isn't over." He said as he fell backwards into the hole he came from. We change back to normal and look down the hole.

"Think he survive?" Ask Kenji. I shook my head. "No, he suffers too much damage, if he survives the fall, I doubt his data would stay together." I said. Yang pull Jerico into her chest. "Way to go Sunny, you kick ass." She said. Jerico got out of her grip and chuckles. "I sure did, anyway we should get the others to secure the area." He said. "He is right, we need to get this ship operational if we want to get to beacon." Erika said. "Yeah let head back." I said as we start to leave. Normal Pov: Unknown to the Tamers they were being watch by a roge man on the roof tops. "So, the crest of Courage has awakened, only 3 more before we have the original 8. of course, there are the other sets to finish too." He said as he turn to leave. "Let hope they can awaken then soon; they must hurry before he is free." He said as he vanishes.
