Fans, I greet you and bring you another exciting chapter of my story.

And can I say, I love the lore of WOD. There is so much one could miss, unless you look closely. For example, the Gorian- Ogre- Empire had traveled across the sea and may have offshore colonies that still exist, and there are fungal-whales in the oceans. WOW! (pun intended)

Gorgrond- enroute to Blackrock Foundry, twenty-four hours after crash

The land of Gorgrond was barren and its history was full of violence. From giant elementals clashing, to orcs and ogres waging their age old blood feuds.

Today, it was the center of the war between the Kel-Morians and the Blackrock Clan.

The region was rich in minerals and other resources, especially blackrock ore, which is why the Combine set up operations there; they slaughtered any orcs they came across.

The native orcs were a proud warrior people, and the ore was important to the clan's culture (hence the name), and they fought to protect their home and way of life.

A caravan moved through the wastes, led by Orgrim Doomhammer on his wolf, enroute to the Blackrock Foundry. The wagon carried the prisoners from the outpost, to be brought before Blackhand, Warchief of the Blackrock Clan.

Witmore and his men had only the clothes at their backs, stripped of armor and weapons, they were nervous. Training prepares them for interrogation, but not when it involves aliens. Especially aliens they never encountered before, yet these aliens knew about terrans, likely from fighting the Kel-Morian Combine. The medic tried to talk to the wagon driver, but was growled at.

They arrived at the Foundry, blackrock orcs stared at the humans. Their large, coal dust covered forms towered over the caged soldiers and intimated them.

The prisoners were taken out of the cage and brought to the warlord, the terrans saw the very scale of the stronghold: Hallways and corridors full of furnaces, cauldrons, and forges. Orcs were training and gearing up for battle. There was also housing for orc families and shamanstic shrines.

Blackhand- leader of the Blackrock Clan, legendary warrior, respected and feared by other orcs- towered over the prisoners, who were bound and kneeling before the chieftain. From his throne, he listened to what Doomhammer told him; though they looked like the invaders who attacked their people, their red armor and lack of aggression told a different story. The warchief would hear out what the prisoners had to say, and his lieutenant would translate (the latter understanding the terran language, while the former did not, Blackhand speaks through Orgrim).

" Who are you to trespass on Blackrock lands?!"

Sergeant Witmore answered, " First Sergeant Chase Witmore, Dominion Marine Corps, we didn't mean to trespass." Doomhammer spoke in orcish to the chief.

" And yet you are here, why?" The sergeant explained why they were on the planet- the mission, the crash, and even what the Terran Dominion was- but was cut off halfway.

The warchief ordered the prisoners to be taken away, either not believing their story or just not caring, he would decide their fates later. Orgrim had an unnerved look on his face.

Wor'gol ( also known as "Wolf Home", the Frostwolf settlement), two days after the crash

Damson awoke to feeling freezing cold on his face, his armor was damaged- his face visor was smashed, plates torn, and circuits exposed- and he was tied to a stake.

He was in some kind of village, being stared at by the inhabitants, a brutish creature - wearing a wolf's pelt- came up to him and huffed in his face.

The one who captured Michael was standing in front of a crowd, he was yelling something the private couldn't understand in a joyous tone.

An old one, with a blind fold on, walked up to the terran, then grunted at the others. Two creatures untied and carried him to a cave, where the old one performed some kind of ritual. Private Damson was left weezing on the stone floor.

Later, the Frostwolves sat at the camp fires- eating, telling stories- with their terran "guest ". The ritual Drek'thar performed on the offworlder showed his true nature and deemed him not a threat, though he wasn't allowed to have his armor and weapon. The orcs gave him some clothes to keep him warm.

Drek'thar was teaching the human their language and trying to learn his people's speech as well, so they can better communicate with each other.

At the same time, an argument was going on between the chieftain, Duroran, and his brother, Ga'nar, about what to do about the alien. They'd heard the stories about the invaders in Gorgrond and were worried the war could come to their lands.

Ga'nar wanted to kill the terran, but Durotan wouldn't allow this. He trusted the judgment of the clan shaman and the spirits, which infuriated his brother "gah! You are a fool to allow this… Alien to remain in our home, among our people!" he yelled. "My decision is made. Unless he causes harm, YOU will not do anything. Remember our clan's customs", the argument ended as always, with hot-headed Ga'nar storming off and leaving Durotan frustrated.

Drakka, Durotan's mate, came over to comfort him. The chieftain wondered if he'd make a mistake, allowing an outsider to stay in their village. The Frostwolves had a lot to deal with: They had lost their previous chieftain- Ga'nar, and had to constantly fend off attacks from the Bladespire Ogres and the Thunderlord Orc Clan- led by the mysterious "Iron Wolf".

They couldn't afford a war with hostile aliens.

Wor'gol, Frostfire Ridge, twelve days after crash

Private Michael had been living with the Frostwolf Clan, he learned their language and customs. While he was with the orcs, the marine tried to find other Dominion survivors, but couldn't find anyone from the cruiser anywhere in or near Frostfire Ridge. He wondered if he was the only one who made it off alive.

While on a hunt with some of the orcs, the terran witnessed a familiar sight in the sky. Terran structures landed near Bladespire Mountain, setting up a base belonging to the Kel-Morian Combine. The hunting party returned to the village and warned the clan about the invaders. Ga'nar demanded action, Durotan agreed with his brother. The Frostwolves readied themselves for war.

The Kel-Morians found more mineral deposits in the volcanic region of Frostfire Ridge, now expanding their mining operation. The base was set up in the territory of the Bladespire Ogres, who responded by sending an attack force to destroy the trespassers. The Frostwolves launched their own attack on both terran and ogre while they were fighting each other.

After the battle, the Frostwolf Clan scavenged the area of weapons and gear. Michael searches the command center for any useful information, he discovers the Kel-Morians were tracking the Dominion soldier's transponders. CMC had trackers in the suits, the Kel-Morians likely hacked into the frequencies they used.

There were survivors scattered across the continent, some close by in a lower valley. Damson took the information and informed the Chieftain. The valley is called Gorgrond, home to the Blackrock Clan and center battleground of the Kel-Morian Combine invasion.
