Hello all Storm here with a new chapter! Here we'll be getting a timeskip for Team Seven getting their first C-Rank Mission and it is…the Wave Mission! And it's been a while since I've actually done that one, but rest assured while some things are going to be the same, there will be some differences. Also for anyone thinking Hinata is going to be redeemed and see the "fake" Naruto is the real one…yeah that's not gonna happen and you'll be seeing why here. Said Naruto upon seeing a wolf moving through the trees and heading straight for the target, with Kakashi's eyes widening at this.
"Everyone, move now! Get the target before that wolf does!" Ordered Kakashi, knowing if they didn't get the target now then it may be too late.
With the three Genin instantly jumping through the trees after their target before it escape or if the wolf got its claws on it. Only to stop when they heard a loud, pain-filled yowl, along with snarling and growl, and the sound of something be ripped apart. Making them run even faster, hoping they could get their in time, only to stop in a small clearing with Sakura gasping in horror. While Naruto and Sasuke frowned grimly at the blood stains which was all that was left of the wolfs prey.
"…Can of any of you please confirm the target wasn't just attacked?" Questioned Kakashi, hoping there was a chance the wolf attacked a rabbit or some other small animal.
"Negative, there's a red ribbon, the targets gone." Sasuke said, picking up a blood-stained red ribbon, seeing they failed the mission to retrieve Tora.
"Damnit. Very well, let's report back to the Hokage that it's a mission fail." Kakashi said, sighing while hoping this won't end badly for them.
*Later-Hokage's Tower*
"OH, MY PRECIOUS TORA! WHY DID YOU HAVE TO KEEP RUNNING AWAY?!" Cried Madam Shijimi, horrified and heartbroken to learn what's happened to her beloved pet.

"Yes, yes I'm sure you all tried your best, to bring me back my precious Tora. Thank you for trying, OH TORA!" Shijimi cried as she left the office, with the Sandaime and Kakashi mentally sighing in relief.
"Now then, I suppose we'll see what other missions are available. We have babysitting, helping with shopping, harvesting crops-" The Hokage said, seeing what other missions were available, much to Naruto's, Sasuke's, and Sakura's growing annoyance.
"Hokage-sama, with all due respect, we've been Genin for nearly three months now, we've already completed dozens of D-Rank Missions and our teamwork is as good as it's going to get, unless we actually start getting real experience working together. We're ready for at least a C-Rank Mission." Naruto said, doing his best to stop himself from snapping, but making it clear he's done with D-Ranks.
"He's right. At this rate, we're just going to grow stagnate, if we're going to grow any stronger then we need better missions to show what we can do and get actual experience." Added Sasuke, also tired of D-Rank Missions and desired to actually test his abilities outside the village.
"We have been training really hard, Hokage-sama, we could at least get an easy C-Rank Mission to prove we're capable of handling something more challenging." Sakura said, hiding her own annoyance and desire to get something else besides helping with chores.
Sarutobi frowned at their words before looking at Kakashi to see what he thought, if his team was ready for a C-Rank Mission. With the Copy Ninja glancing at his students for a few moments, before turning back to the Hokage and nodded.
"I believe Team Seven is ready for a C-Rank Mission, Hokage-sama." Kakashi said, believing it'll be a good learning experience, showing them just how dangerous missions outside the village can be.
"Very well then, if you truly believe they're ready, Kakashi. It just so happens we've received a C-Rank Mission that's perfect for you, an escort mission to the Land of Waves. Come back here tomorrow to meet your client." Hiruzen said, holding out the mission scroll, with Kakashi grabbing it with a nod before turning towards his students.
"I'll meet the client and bring him to the gates tomorrow, while you three will meet us there. So, make sure you're packed and ready to head out in the morning, and pack enough supplies for at least a couple days. Just in case we're gone longer than expected." Said Kakashi, the Genin nodding in response before they exited the office.
With Naruto feeling relief and excitement finally getting a chance to do a C-Rank Mission, wanting to actually see how much he's grown with his weapons and Taijutsu Style.
'Though, I'll need to make sure to tell Yakumo, Ayame, and Teuchi that I'll be out of the village for a while on a mission, so they don't get worried about where I am.' Naruto thought, wanting to make sure they know where he's going and how long he'll be gone.
He'd also tell Team Nine that he's finally getting a C-Rank Mission, but they were currently out on their own C-Rank at the moment.
But before he went to tell them, the Uzumaki quickly headed to his apartment, going straight to his bathroom where he began washing his mouth out.

"Thank you, Naruto, I'll look forward to seeing them. But…" Said Yakumo as her smile dimmed and be replaced with a concerned expression.
"What is it?" Naruto asked seeing her expression.
"I'm just…I'm worried, you'll be out of the village and going to a different country, even if it's not that far away, a lot can still happen on the journey there and even when you do get there. So…just please be careful and come back safely." Yakumo said, worried that something might happen on the mission and didn't want to lose her first friend.
With the Uzumaki being surprised at her concern, before he smiled and grabbed her hand making Yakumo look at him.
"I promise that I will come back, I promise that I'll always come back to you, Yakumo. Besides, you've helped so much with my training that I'll definitely have no trouble, with how you've helped me with my Chakra Control as well as my ability to detect and break out of Genjutsu, if we do encounter enemy Ninja. "Anyway, this is our client Tazuna, a bridge builder from the Land of Waves." Said Kakashi, motioning to an old man that had been following him.
With the Genin seeing that he was a grey-haired, bespectacled man with tanned skin, a beard, and dark eyes. He wore a sleeveless v-neck black shirt with a purple obi, brown pants and sandals. He also carried a towel around his neck and wore a conical straw hat on his head. With him also carrying a bottle of sake and looked to be getting drunk.
"What is this? I asked for a team of Ninja and instead I get a team of brats. They look like they'd run at the first sign of trouble, especially that short one with the blonde hair. I doubt he can fight his way out of a wet paper bag." Said Tazuna, not believing his safety is being entrusted to three children, much to the annoyance of the Genin, especially Naruto.
"Well at least I know how dumb it is to piss off the people you're paying to watch your back and keep you alive. After all, it's a long trip to the Land of Waves, who knows what could happen on the way there." Naruto retorted while narrowing his eyes at the bridge builder, making the man pale a little and gulp at the insinuation.
"Naruto! You can't just threaten clients like that!" Said Sakura, scolding the Uzumaki, with Tazuna sighing in relief that the other two won't try and threaten him only to stiffen again when the Uchiha spoke.
"She's right. You need to wait until after the mission's completed, then you can do whatever you want." Sasuke stated, with Tazuna only growing more nervous when the pinkette nodded in agreement as all three of them narrowed their eyes at him.
"Well I have to say that must be a record for a client, Tazuna. We haven't even left the village yet and you've already pissed off 75% of your bodyguards." Kakashi said jokingly with an eye-smile, while patting the bridge builder on the back.
"But if you want my advice, lay off the sake for the time being." Added Kakashi, with Tazuna nodding shakily and dumped it out.
"Y-yeah, good idea." Tazuna said, not wanting to say anything else that'll piss of the people who're supposed to protect him.
"Good. Now let's move out, team!" Kakashi said as Team Seven and Tazuna exited the village and began the trip towards the Land of Waves.
So, what did you think, good. Yep we see Team Seven doing the Tora Mission again, only for it to go horribly wrong(?) when a wolf mauls Tora and kills it, with it later being revealed it was a transformed Shadow Clone Naruto sent after Tora, ensuring they never have to do the mission again. Before the Genin pressure the Hokage to finally give them a C-Rank Mission, with Kakashi agreeing seeing it as a learning experience. Before they're dismissed to meet up at the gates tomorrow, with Naruto planning to tell Yakumo, Ayame, and Teuchi about the mission, but first goes to wash out the phantom taste of Tora in his mouth.
Then we see Naruto visiting Yakumo and telling her about his mission, with the Kurama Heiress being happy for her friend getting the chance to go out of the village, but is worried something could go wrong and has him promise to come back, with Naruto doing so. While also showing how close they've grown with Yakumo even giving him a light peck on the lips for luck, shocking both of them. Finally we see Team Seven meeting up at the gates, with Kakashi actually arriving on time and introducing Tazuna, who insults the Genin much to their annoyance. Only to learn it's not a good idea to insult the people he's paying to keep him alive, before they head out for the Land of Waves. So, for those that like the story, thanks for your support.
