When they woke up the next morning they were wrapped in each other's arms, making them glad they were small enough to fit on the same branch. But it did not change how cold it was, hence why Ember and Tatl, was hiding in their hair.

"Now what?" Saria asked.

"Snowhead temple is that way," Tatl said flying up and pointing the way before quickly hiding in Linkette's hair again.

"Got it," they said heading that way.

Eventually they came to a ramp leading to jump over a hole in the path.

After reaching it Linkette changed to Luna, and flew over before waiting for Saria to arrive, while Tatl hid with Ember. Saria meanwhile used her sage powers to try to make a path from the wood of the ramp but it was too cold and it froze and shattered when she tried to walk across, making her jump back. Saria then looked around before finding a nearby tree, and with an apology, used her powers to knock it over and turn it into a bridge. After crossing she found Luna shivering in the snow with ice on her wings, and gently picked her up, and hugged her to use her body heat to warm her up.

"Are you okay?" Saria asked once Luna was warmed up.

"I'm fine," she said turning back to Linkette. "It was just too cold for my fairy form."

"Yeah, you need a great fairy to teach you how to stay safe in the cold." Ember said. "I never learned how."

"Same," Tatl agreed.

They then continued on dodging giant snowballs until they came to another hole in the path, but no trees nearby. So they went back and collected the tree bridge and carried it to the hole so they could cross. Eventually they came across an owl statue near a path across a giant chasm with random blasts of powerful cold air that would easily knock them off, and too their death.

"That's a big Goron," Saria said, causing Linkette, Ember, and Tatl to look at her.

"What do you mean?" Tatl asked. "There's nothing there."

"You don't see it?" Saria questioned, getting agreement to the statement. She thinks before snapping her fingers. "It must be invisible. And while we were in the chamber of sages, the sage of shadows taught me a spell to permanently give my eyes the same affect as the Lens of Truth."

"That would do it," Linkette and Ember agreed, before explaining what the Lens of Truth was to Tatl. "Can you cast the spell on us."

"Sure," Saria said casting it before looking at the giant Goron with the others. "Now how do we get past him?"

"What about your song?" Linkette asked. "It made the Gorons back home dance, and if he tries to dance there, he would fall in the canyon, but is too big to be hurt by it."

"That could work," Saria said, before looking at the sky, "But it is almost night time, not leaving us a lot of time to finish the temple. So why don't we use the song of time, then the song of soaring to come back, at the beginning of the cycle?"

"Good idea!" Linkette agreed playing the song of time to send them back, only to accidentally play the inverted song of time due to the cold. Which they knew would greatly help them.

Eventually they made it back to that point at the beginning of the cycle with the inverted song of time in effect, where Saria played her song, first alone, then when that was too quiet, together with Linkette, causing the Goron to dance of the ledge, he was fine though, but as long as they dodged the snowballs, they could now make it into the temple, and so they did.
