Chapter 48 Self Possessed
Sean and Rogue were in the Work out room hitting a ball against the wall.
Quickly Sean tried to hit it but missed making him fall.
"Looks like I win." Rogue said.
"I think you mean I win." Sean said.
"How do you..." Rogue tried to say before gasping in surprise as he reached forward and grabbed her ass making her fall on him with her face in front of his making him chuckle.
"See what I mean?" Sean asked making her grin as she kissed him before his hands went into her sweat pants grouping her ass causing her to smirk.
"So...Here or somewhere else?" Rogue asked as they both vanished.
Minutes later
Rogue moaned loudly as both were in the shower with Sean kissing her neck as she held him real close to her.

Rogue grinned as she got dressed in fresh clothes after she and Sean actually showered off.
"So, have fun?" Korra asked making her smile.
"Oh yeah. And now I see why you're always satisfied around him." Rogue said making her grin.
"Oh the sex is just a bonus. Being with him is the prize." Korra said making her giggle before holding her head. "You ok?" Korra asked.
"Yeah. Just a headache." Rogue said making her frown.
"Your not a good liar around me you know that?" Korra asked making her sigh. "Whats going on?" Korra asked.
"Promise you won't tell Sean? I keep getting flashes from people I've touched and absorbed." Rogue said.
"Any of their Powers?" Korra asked.
"Yeah." Rogue asked.
"I think we do need to tell him and the Professor." Korra said.
"Look I..." Rogue tried to say.
"Do you remember what happened When Sean lost control of his powers because Erik screwed him up?" Korra asked making her nod. "The same could happen to you. And thats the last thing we need. And if you have an episode like that in Public, Certain people will use it against us." Korra said making her sigh.
"All right. Lets go." Rogue said as they left.
Later
"Hmm. From the sounds of things perhaps the personalities of those you've absorbed are trying to take over." Sean said.
"I agree. Rogue, How long has this been going on for?" Charles asked.
"Not long...A couple days. I thought they were just headaches." Rogue said.
"Headaches don't involve flashes." Sean said. "We need to remove those personalities before something bad does happen." Sean said.
"Can we do it later?" Rogue asked.
"No, now. We don't wanna take chances and have this blowing up in our face." Sean said making her sigh.
"All right." Rogue said as the two left.
Charles however saw the look on Korra's face.
"Something on your mind?" Charles asked.
"I keep thinking why did Mystique want her so bad she would make her think we attacked her for no reason?" Korra asked.
"Most likely because of her mutation." Charles said.
"I kept thinking the same thing but that can't be all. She went to great lengths to make her think we were after her. Thats not something you do to someone just because of the power they hold." Korra said.
"What are you thinking?" Charles asked.
"I don't know. But I think Mystique is hiding something from us." Korra said.
Later
Rogue groaned lightly as her head was back to normal but had a killer headache from having those personalities driven out.
Thankfully because Sean did this before it got worse she would be fine for tonight.
As she was walking to class she didn't notice Risty Wilde behind her.
As she was about to get her attention she walked though a portal outside.
"What the?" Risty tried to say.
"Well, look who's back." Sean said leaning on a wall.
"Kruger? What was that for?" Risty asked.
"You tell me...Mystique." Sean said shocking her before she morphed into her.
"How'd did you know? You said it yourself you couldn't detect my scent or my mind." Mystique said generally curious.
"I asked my Ancient Counterpart for an enhancement in that. That...And I finally figured it out. You posed as Rogue's friend in order to have a way into the mansion to get those codes you stole to blow up the mansion." Sean said glaring at her. "You fucking used her for your own gains." Sean said.
"Thats not true. Yes, I did take advantage of that but theres another reason." Mystique said.
"You better start talking unless you want to experience what you put me through without your powers." Sean said with his claws out.
"She's my daughter." Mystique said surprising him before frowning.
"Bullshit. I highly doubt Erik..." Sean tried to say.
"Adopted Daughter." Mystique said.
"Ok that I believe." Sean said with his claws back in his hand. "So why come back now posing as Risty again? I doubt it's to be close to her." Sean said.
"I got a warning from her guardian. Irene. She's a Mutant like us who can see possible futures. She told me Rogue was in danger because of her absorbing people the personalities might take over." Mystique said.
"Well, you don't have to worry about that anymore." Sean said.
"And why's that?" Mystique asked.
"I already purged them from her this morning. Korra made her tell us and I got rid of them for her safety." Sean said making her sigh in relief. "You actually care about her don't you?" Sean asked.
"Course I do. I care for both of them. It's just..." Mystique tried to say.
"Erik, I know. But if you're thinking you have a chance with them think again. You blew it when you blew up the mansion and helped Magneto expose us. You really think their gonna trust you after that?" Sean asked making her look away.
"I know. I would do anything to just talk to them like any parent would. But..." Mystique said.
"You need to earn their trust. My advice...Stop making the same mistakes and get help for your mind. That machine has screwed you up big time." Sean said leaving making her sigh.
Later
"Mystique...Is my mother?" Rogue asked in shock.
"She told me so. She posed as Risty Wilde in order to get close to you. Not just to get a way in here but also get close to you. She does care about both of you. Erik and that machine...Just messed her up." Sean said making her sigh sitting down as he did the same.
"Some messed up family I got." Rogue said.
"Hardly. She does care...Erik and that machine have just...Distorted her." Sean said.
"I guess." Rogue said.
"But I'm grateful she found you...It's how we met." Sean said making her smile as he held her close. "I'm always gonna be here for you when you need me. No matter what." Sean said making her smile more.
"I know." Rogue said.
Meanwhile in the Titan Universe
Titan Sean was in his home holding his daughter Yangchen who giggled.
"I wonder if you're gonna be like the original." Sean said.
"I would want to be my old self." Mystique said surprising him as Godzilla took over and snarled.
"YOU." Godzilla said.
"I'm not here to fight...I need your help." Mystique said.
"With what?" Godzilla asked.
"Magneto's machine has screwed up my head...I need your help to fix it. You got tech that can do almost anything. I'm sure you have something for this." Mystique said.
"Why would you want to do that? And how did you get here?" Titan Sean asked.
"You do realize those portals lead to one of the five allied universes including here. So I came through. And I want this to get closer to my kids again." Mystique said making his frown lessen looking at Yangchen who cooed in his arms.
"That I can understand more than anyone. All right...But you do realize it could also mean you might not have some of those perks you have." Titan Sean said.
"I don't care." Mystique said.
"All right...I'll set up an appointment tomorrow with my sister, Sarah. She's in charge of the labs these days." Titan Sean said.
"I thought you were the Smartest one here." Mystique said confused as to why he wasn't doing this.
"I am...But I don't work in those labs anymore. Not since that day. I just advise these days and raise my kids." Titan Sean said.
Meanwhile
"She did what?" Sean asked his Titan Counterpart through a screen.
"Showed up at my Estate and asked to have what was done to her reversed. Seems she's really intent on making amends." Titan Sean said.
"I guess my little chat fixed that. All right keep me posted." Sean said ending transmission.
"I'm rather surprised she went to great lengths to fix her mind for Rogue and Kurt." Charles said.
"Love for children will do that. She may have her mind fixed but she does have a long way to go before she can be forgiven." Sean said.
Authors Note: Yeah Kinda Short but since Rogue didn't absorb most of the people like in cannon it wouldn't be the same so I improvised. Now Mystique has a good chance in time to reconcile with her kids. Now Next Chapter we run into Mesmero once more. Will things end differently or will they stay the same. Find out next Chapter.
