All of the team's wounds healed and easily enough they were back to their old selves again. Being heroes and sadly going back to their old lives.
And unlike everyone else where Luka is a rockstar or Marinette's a fashion designer or Adrien and Kagami where they are soon to inherit Multi million dollar companies or Chloe were….well no one has no clue what Chloe does except Sabrina but anyway.
Everyone's Jobs are so global and different expect for Alya and Nino
Alya is a news reporter while Nino is her cameraman
Alya didn't mind since it's always been her dream to work in news. And Nino never seemed to mind as he's felt like he's always been Alya's camera man. So they've always had a good thing going to them
It's just their was one thing they hated about their job
"I SAID GIVE ME AN INTERESTING PIECE ON LUKA COUFFAINE !"

Slamming the paper down on the table Alya's boss groaned
"IF I WANTED TO KNOW WHAT HE EATS FOR BREAKFAST I WOULD'VE JUST SEARCHED HIS INSTAGRAM, WHAT I WANTED WAS A GOOD NEWS PIECE ON HIM. WHAT'S THE REAL LIFE OF LUKA COUFFAINE, WHERE DOES HE LIVE ? DOES HE HAVE A LOVER ? ARE HIM AND HIS FATHER GOING TO RELEASE AN ALBUM TOGETHER ? THAT TYPE OF STUFF !"
Nino just sighed as he knew what Alya was going to say next and once she slammed her hands on the Stacy's table Nino just praid they would have a job by the end of this
"I KNOW WHY YOU GAVE ME THE LUKA PIECE ! IT'S BECAUSE SINCE WE WENT TO HIGHSCHOOL TOGETHER AND WERE GOOD FRIENDS YOU WANT ME TO GET THE DROP ON HIS PERSONAL LIFE ! STACY I'M NOT DOING THAT ! IT'S AN INHUMAN RIGHT TO HIS PRIVACY AND IT'S WRONG IN SO MANY WAYS ! I'M A GOOD REPORTER HELL THE BEST ONE YOU GOT ! GIVE ME SOMETHING THAT WILL TRULY CHALLENGE ME ! HOW MANY PEOPLE DO YOU KNOW HAS GOTTEN AN INTERVIEW WITH LADYBUG WHEN THEY WERE IN HIGHSCHOOL HUH ?! ME ! COME ON STACY"
Nino palmed his face right as Alya finished ready to go pack his stuff right now but granted everything Stacy just scoffed and smirked
"Alright, you want a big shot challenge, I'll give you one Rene Rouge"
Alya and Nino's face lit up
"What ?"
"You heard me Rene Rouge, out of all the Heroes in Team Miraculous Rene Rouge is the person we get least coverage with ever since the return of the heroes a year ago. Get me a interview with Rene Rouge and maybe we can start talking about putting you on more serious assignments got it"
"Ms Lawrance with all due respect-"
"Got it !" Alya said causing Stacy to smile
"I'll have the paper done by tomorrow evening"
With that Alya spun around heading towards the door leaving Nino to just groan and grip his hair tightly
Quickly though Alya was stopped when she reached for the door handle
"And Quick thing to say, Adèle will be working the Rene Rouge assignment also"
Nino let out a gulp of nervousness while Alya just clenched her eyebrows and gripped the door handle harder
"Got it" she growled out before swinging the door open and leaving
Nino wanted to say something as he was mustering out some words but he just ended it with a chuckle and hustled out the room

Heading up the stairs to the roof Nino sighed as he approached closer to his girlfriend

Alya didn't respond as she began to dial the keypads on her phone

Wayzz too had an argument to say as she appeared from the inside of Nino's jacket

Again Alyla mumbled words through her covered hand and screamed but soon enough she sighed and took away Nino's hand
"Alright, alright alright alright alright. I'll go tell Stacy Im not doing the paper"

Alya just smirked and rolled her eyes all her anger had slowly began to wither away and the kiss on the cheek she gave Nino certainly helped also

"Alya, your off the paper, that means you shouldn't be here right now"
Adèle gave Alya a smirk making Alya groan and roll her eyes as she angrily stomped out the room in anger
Nino was on his phone waiting outside Stacy's office for Alya so when she came out the room stomping away in anger it was do doubt Nino needed to know what was wrong
"Hey, Al what happened"
"SHE GAVE THE STUPID PAPER TO ADELE !"
"What ? she can't do that, that was your piece ?"
"I KNOW ! AND IT WAS ALL FOR NOTHING !"
"Wait, technically speaking you're, you know…..so this has a silver lining. You don't give her the piece. It's all fair game"
"UGHHHH you don't get it Nino" Alya groaned as she opened the door to her and Nino's office
"Stacy is never gonna see me as more than just her challenged reporter. And now she's gonna think I'm weak because I just bailed on my one shot of changing her opinion !"
Nino sighed and opened her mouth to speak but he was stopped when his phone began to ring
He checked his phone too see the picture of him and Adrien showing he was calling so obviously he picked it up
"Yeah man what's up"
"The Park, were going against the Mime 2.0 and we could really use your shield right now"
"On it ! I'll be there in a minute"
Hanging up the phone Nino opened up the side of their office window
"The other's need our help. Their going against the Mime 2.0"
Granted the information he just told her Alya remained seated in her angry pout confusing Nino
"Alya ? come on they need our help"
"You go, i'm staying here"
"What ? Alya you can't just-"
"It's just the Mime you don't need my illusions anyway. Go fight the bad guy. I'll just sit here and maybe write a paper about how Stacy doesn't treat me like a real employee"
Nino was dealt with much time to come to a conclusion so he just sighed and figured he would deal with this later as he leaped out the window
"Wayzz, Shell On !"
With a flash of green Alya sat in her chair and watched as Nino used his shield to ride down the side of the building before launching himself to a nearby rooftop running to the park
Alya sighed sadly and clenched her fist as he newborn anger was found again and it was only fueled more when she saw Adèle walk by her office with the file report she needed for the paper
Narrowing her eyes Alya's clenched fist grew tighter as she knew Nino couldn't stop her from this plan

Arriving to her desk Adèle noticed a paper that was placed on her desk
The purple haired woman grew confused as she placed her files down and picked up the notes
I heard you've been wanting to talk to me. Well here's your chance. Meet me on the roof 5 minutes don't be late

Immediately Adèle's face lit up with excitement as she went to her desk to grab her tape recorder before heading to the stairs
Running faster than she's ever attempted to before she bursted through the rooftop door as she began to look around

Adèle heard a soft thud land behind her and nearly jumped when she saw the sight of Rene Rouge behind her
"Wow ! it's….it's you ! like really you !. I gotta say I'm a huge fan ! You've been my favorite ever since I was in highschool. I own all your mer-"

Immediately the purple haired reporter stopped talking
"You wanted a interview here it is ask away"
There was something about her tone and unhappy stance that caught Adèle but her excitement was too much to catch as she pressed her tape recorder
"Well obviously I can't ask the obvious stuff like who are you ? or who's your teammates so I'll ask safe things, what's your favorite color ? HAHAAHA sorry Orange obviously. Alright next one out of all your teammates who is your favorite to work with and who is your least favorite"
"I actually have a question for you Ms…."

All caution had been thrown to the wind as Adèle's once smiling face had been reverted to a sad confused one

"SAVE IT ! this was a waste of my time" the Illusion hero said as she began to walk away form the reporter

With that Rene Rouge jumped down from the building leaving Adèle on the rooftop
Tears began to trickle down her face as dropped to her knee in sadness letting the tears fully flow

All her sadness and anger had been corrupted as now she had been linked to Hawk Moth
"Liar, I am Hawkmoth, You've been turned into a fool by your greatest hero that must pain you with a passion, all those hateful words and bottled emotions you must want to know if what the hero said was true right ? I'm giving you the ability to capture your enemies and force them to see the truth and nothing of it. In return all I ask is for the Miraculous of Team Miraculous, I don't care how you get them just make sure it's done"
Adèle smirked as she let the purple energy take over
"I promise Hawkmoth, I won't let you down and that's the truth"

The waitress had come back to check on everyone and right then and there it hit Alya that everyone had ordered specific foods to give their Kwami's and Trixx was probably starting

A woman said grabbing everyone's attention was they looked back
Someone dressed as a cursed news reporter with a glowing pink notepad held a devilish smirk on her face as she began to scribble
"YOU DO HAVE TORTILLA CHIPS ! YOUR JUST TOO LAZY TO GO AND LOOK FOR THEM ! HERE TAKE A LOOK FOR YOURSELF" the woman said before soon enough the once waitress disappeared into a spark of light soon dropping down onto the ground as a small marble
Everyone's eyes lit up in horror as the woman just evil laughed
"HAHAHAHAHA ! MOTHER ALWAYS SAID IT'S NOT GOOD TO LIE, ISN'T THAT RIGHT ALYA"
Alya's face lit up as everyone began to look at her but they couldn't waste much time about it as everyone was forced to quickly duck under a table dodging some type of pink beam
Grouping up at a table everyone looked at Alya
"Wanna introduce us to your new friend ?" Kagami said
"What ? I have no Idea who that is"
"LIAR LIAR PANTS ON FIRE !" the woman said before expelling another beam from her pen making everyone duck
"Well she clearly knows you ! god and I thought I was the one that makes the enemies"
Alya rolled her eyes and annoyance

The little argument was put to a halt as everyone nodded their heads in agreement
Liar watched as a mirage of colors emerged from behind the table before a green dome surrounded the newly appeared heroes making her smirk
"I wondered when the heroes would come out to play"
Brining the dome down it didn't take long before the 7 heroes attacked the Akumatized Victim making her only smirk as she shot a beam with her pen
Dodging the attack Ladybug threw her Yo-Yo at the villian trying to grab the pen
"Her Akuma is in her Pen !" Marinette said
"Liar Liar ladybug, you know what happens to liars"
Beginning to scribble on her notepad Ladybug was forced to come to a halt as she was lifted into the air making everyone stop and watch
"LADYBUG !" Viperion shouted trying to grab her but it was no use as soon enough she disappeared into a ball of light before falling down to become some type of marble
Everyone watched with Jaw dropped emotions as Luka just gritted his teeth in anger as he gripped his Lyre tighter
"BRING HER BACK !" he shouted as he threw his Lyre
Easily Liar dodged the weapon as she responded
"She lied and she got what she she deserved"
"SHE DIDN'T LIE"
"Ohh, defending a liar I See that only makes you a liar yourself" the woman said as she began to scribble on her notepad
Before Luka could send a punch to the woman he was forced to come to a halt before his body began to light up
"VIPERION !" Kagami shouted grabbing Lair's attention
"Don't worry Dragon lady it'll be over soon enough"
Angrily Kagami began to grip her sword as the sight of Luka dispersing into a speck of light before reverting to a marble caught her attention
"GIVE US OUR FRIENDS BACK YOU MONSTER !"
"RYUKO ! WAIT !" Cat Noir called out as he began to ran after Kagami
Alya too was ready to sprint towards the Akumatized victim but was stopped when Nino grabbed her arm causing her too look back at him
"We have to play smart retreat and think about this, were no good if we get caught also"
Immediately Alya took her hand away
"Nino how could you say that we have to save them"
"We can't save them if we are also trapped like them, come on !"
Alya desperately wanted to disagree and argue back but when she saw Adrien and Kagami get sucked away like Luka and Marinette did she had no other option but to cave and let Nino take her away
