"Wait, really?" Lily asked.
"I thought it would be fun for you to be able to spend time with people. Even though I know you aren't really human in the sense I am, I still want to give you a second chance at a new life," I said, walking to the mall with her and Mordred. She wore a white dress with a sun hat while Mordred wore a crop top with booty shorts and a red jacket. I was wearing a black booty shorts and a black button up with the top three buttons undone and showing my sternum.
"So, who all are we meeting up with?" Mordred asked.
"I don't know who will be there, but it's going to be girls from my class," I said.
"Cool!" Lily said, jumping up.
"Hey, Midoriya!" Tokage yelled, waving at me.
I looked to see Tokage, Edelfelt, Einzbern, Chloe, Ashido, Jirou, and floating clothes I assumed was Hakgakure.
"Hey ladies!" I called out.
"Wow, I didn't expect you to be an exbositionist," Ashido quipped as I walked up to them.
"Well, being half raised by Nero whose motto is 'if you got it, show it and if you show it, show it all' will make you realize that how you dress doesn't matter, but what you show does," I said. "It also doesn't help that she walks around the house practically naked and I saw that in my impressionable years and Mordred is a big fan of Midnight, and well, you know how she dresses."
"Yeah, that sounds about right, so who's with you?" Chloe asked.
"Oh, this is Mordred and Lily. Lily's name is technically Artoria but since she is different from her older persona we call her by her special class Saber Lily," I explained.
"Wait, so you can summon the same person at two points of their life as different people?" Jirou asked.
"Kinda, they were known as different people so it's more like I can summon both versions of them. Artoria, aka King Arthur of England and Artoria, aka the Knight Princess," I explained.
"Wait, King Arthur was a girl?" Tokage asked.
"Yes, father is female," Mordred said.
"Father!?" the girls asked in unison.
"It's weird, let's not talk about it please," I said.
"I can agree, Nero brings it up anytime she can," Mordred said.
"So, what are we going to get?" Lily asked.
"I don't know, I was thinking we could just hang out for a bit," Tokage said.
"Hey, Uraraka and Yaoyorozu aren't here," I said.
"Yeah, their parents told them they weren't allowed to leave after, ya know," Jirou said, getting quiet.
"No talking about that! This is supposed to be a fun girls day," Ashido said.
"Yeah, let's get going. We need to buy a bunch of clothes we don't really need," I proclaimed, getting them all to laugh.
We all walked into the mall but I fell in the back to hide my face falling slightly, remembering what I now knew and what was in my left hand. I looked up to see Einzbern looking at me and put a small smile on my face. She slowed down and walked next to me.
"Hey," she said.
"Need something?" I asked.
"A couple things, first off Rias asked me to see if you wanted to join us for a meeting tonight to help you get used to our world," she said. "If you don't, I fully understand."
"Nah, I think it might be for the best," I said. "Where and when?"
"After this we're meeting up at the club house in UA," she said. "Also, I was curious about how you were doing mentally."
"It's something, but my mind is working on getting to a new normal. Still not sure how I feel about not having a quirk," I said.
"Well, it could be that you have one and it's just not unlocked. I mean, I don't know of anyone who has magic, a sacred gear, and a quirk, but there's always a first," she said. "Just know that whether you have a quirk or not doesn't matter. You're still you and that's what matters," she said.
"That's what all the others have been telling me. It's good to know others think the same thing. I was kinda worried that I wouldn't be accepted by those who knew the truth," I admitted.
"If it makes you feel any better, Chloe, Miyu, and I don't have quirks, but we should be careful talking about this," she added.
"Yeah, thanks for telling me. It oddly does make me feel a little better," I said, walking up to the rest of the group and joining in the mindless conversation before we went to a dress store.
"Alright, I'm going to try this on," Mordred said, grabbing a short red dress.
"Trying to show off for me?" I teased.
"N-no," she said, running off to the changing rooms.
"Oh, are you dating one of your Servants?" Ashido asked, in a shocked voice.
"No, the two of them constantly flirt and you can tell that they have a lot of romantic feelings for the other but don't act on them. It's honestly romantic and is like the characters in books I've read. I'm just waiting for the end when they end up going to bed together if you get what I mean," Lily piped up.
"Sure it's not you who wants me to go to bed with them?" I asked.
"I-I, I'm going to try this on," she squealed, running off to the changing rooms.
"So, I'm guessing you're into girls too," Tokage asked.
"Yup, I thought I was weird for liking girls but Nero and Mordred told me that it was alright and helped me come to terms with my sexuality. So are you full les like me or bi?" I asked.
"Girls only, when I came out to my family my older sister said she would still share a bath with me as long as I didn't do anything weird. I told her just because I was into girls didn't mean I was into her. She just asked if I wasn't into her because she was my sister or because how she was to which I didn't answer," she said, smirking.
"Wait, does that mean if she was your type and still your sister you wouldn't mind dating her?" Jirou asked.
"I mean, I wouldn't mind looking at the eye candy she would supply for me but I wouldn't do anything."
"Alright, out of curiosity, who all here has some sort of attraction to females?" Hagakure asked. Tokage, Einzbern, Chloe, Edelfelt, Jirou, Ashido, and myself all raised our hands. "Cool, so I'm the only straight girl here," she huffed, but then laughed. "Just kidding, well, not about me being straight but being annoyed. Just don't do anything," she said.
"So I can't mention how hot your body looks from the way the light reflects off it?" I asked, smirking.
"Haha, very good way to use how my quirk works to try hitting on me," she said, giggling a bit.
"Izumi, how do we look?" Mordred asked, twirling around in her dress while Lily stood wearing a longer white dress.
"I think both of you look cute," I said. "Oh, and the dresses look good too," I added smirking, causing them to blush up a storm.
"Th-thank you," Lily said, going and changing back to her clothes.
"Guess I'm getting it," Mordred said, doing the same.
"I'm gonna go try this on," I said, grabbing the dress I found.
"I think you might break them," Jirou said.
"I won't mind having my mind broken by that," Tokage said.
"Thanks," I said, going and changing. The dress was black and was formed to fit around my chest but leave my sternum and stomach visible. The only thing keeping my chest covered was a small bit of fabric around my neck and the fact it went around my back. How this was legal was beyond me but I liked it. I put it on and walked out seeing Mordred, Lily, and Tokage were turned around while the others looked at me and all of their faces got red and Chloe licked her lips. "How do I look?" I asked, fixing the straight dress that went down just past my knees.
"You look akgsdhkfs," Lily said, turning and sputtering as she looked at me.
"I-I-Iz-zumi?!" Mordred asked, as her whole face was redder than the dress she tried on.
"Damn, I think my mind is indeed broken," Tokage said, trying not to drool.
"I think that means get it," I said, turning to reveal the small hole above my waist on the back and swaying my hips as I walked. I changed back into my clothes and walked out and bought my dress along with the ones that Mordred and Lily tried on.
"Izumi, you don't have to do that," Mordred said.
"I know, but Iskandar did tell me that he worked extra hours to make sure we had money to spend," I said, taking the bag.
"Wait, your Servants have jobs?" Chloe asked.
"Some do, Iskandar is naturally strong so he does some construction work. They all did it to help pay for the bills after my mom, yeah," I said, getting quiet.
"It's alright, you don't have to talk about it," Lilly said, giving me a hug.
"Thanks, but yeah, some have jobs they do without using my energy," I finished.
"That's interesting, so they can be around and it doesn't use energy?" Edelfelt asked.
"Yeah, I just have them summoned as Classless and they don't use any of it. Lily and Mordred aren't using any neither is EMIYA and he's cleaning the house. Oh, oh no," I said, feeling something I could tell has the possibility of being bad.
"Who is it this time?" Mordred asked.
"Astolfo," I said, knowing that he likes exploring and could get into trouble.
"Um, what's up?" Ashido asked.
"So I can feel when they are in this world and tell who it is and a general direction. The problem is I can't tell what they are doing," I sighed.
"Can you talk to them remotely, like with a phone or something?" Tokage asked.
"First off, too many phones, secondly, they don't know how to work a phone at all," I explained.
"Wanna know what, I can't blame you," Jirou said.
"That and it'll give them more of a reason to just wander around which some don't need as they do it too much already," I sighed.
"Hey, at least I don't wander around by myself," Lily said.
"No, but you do randomly just appear to talk," I said.
"Sorry I like talking with you," she pouted.
"It's alright, it's cute," I said, petting her head a bit.
"Hmm, why do you treat me like a little kid?" she asked.
"I mean, you're physically and mentally what, eleven, twelve?" I asked.
"Twelve," she mumbled.
"Yeah, you're younger than us," I said.
"Not really! I'm only three years younger!" she whined.
"Izumi, stop teasing her, she's too young to deal with it," Mordred said, smirking.
"Nooooo, not you too Mordred!" she cried.
We all busted up laughing and went to the next store. By the end of the time we split up into two groups with me joining the sisters and Edelfelt. I had Mordred and Lily take the stuff we bought home as I didn't feel the need to have them directly with me during this meeting. I followed the girls to a small building hidden on UA property.
"Ara ara, I'm guessing this is the young magnus Rias told us about," a female voice purred behind me.
"She's so cute!" a bubbly voice said.
"She doesn't look like a magnus," a girl said in a bored tone.
"Akeno, Nejire, Koneko," Einzbern said, jumping slightly while turning around.
"We just got here too," the bubbly voice said.
I turned to see two voluptuous girls, one of which was tall and had black hair and the other was a little shorter than I was and had periwinkle hair. Next to them was a younger girl with white hair. Her eyes met mine and I felt something in my left hand ache and a feeling of fear or danger but also familiarity, I couldn't place it.
"Hello, I'm Izumi Midoriya," I said, smiling.
"Nice to see you came, so you know everyone here except you is a devil," Gremory said, opening the door to the building. "We can talk more in the club room," she said, walking through the halls of the smaller building. I followed her and the rest but something in me told me to stay away from the younger girl. We got to a larger room and everyone sat on one of the two couches while Gremory sat behind a desk. "So, Midoriya, I would like to introduce you to everyone in my peerage," she said. "I'll explain how this works. I am what is classified as a High Devil, everyone else here is either a middle of low class devil. Everyone here wasn't born as a devil, I reincarnated them with what is called an evil piece. These are similar to your chess pieces. I am the King, Akeno Himejima is my Queen," she said, motioning to the tall ravenette. "Nejire Hado is my Bishop," she motioned to the girl with periwinkle hair. "Chloe is my Knight. Koneko Toujou is my Rook," she motioned to the smaller girl. "And Miyu and Illya are two of my pawns. Right now I can gain a Rook, Knight, Bishop, or six Pawns," she explained.
"Wait, you mean they died?" I asked.
"Well, Nejire, Koneko, and myself were still alive and just became devils, but they still use the term reincarnation since we weren't born devils," Himejima said.
"Can you summon Sa-Artoria?" Chloe asked.
"Sure," I said, summoning her Classless.
"Hey, what do you need?" she asked.
"Hey Saber, long time no see," Einzbern said.
"Hey, indeed, when Izumi asked about you I knew it was dangerous as if she found out she would know about magic and she wasn't ready for it yet," Artoria said.
"I'm glad Berserker can be summoned as something else and keep his mind," Chloe said. "I'm the version of Illya who was trapped in her body after most of our magic and memories were sealed. I used Berserker in a Grail War," she added.
"Oh, so you know the strain," I said.
"Yes, the thing is I can't summon them anymore. We figured that because of the time between my reincarnation as a devil and me being sealed since the magic it was lost I lost memory of it. Illya had memories of Saber and who she was but thought it was just a dream or something but not the ritual. The two of us were reincarnated five years ago along with Miyu," Chloe explained.
"Wait, how is that possible if you were alive before quirks?" I asked.
"We were a homunculus and I was physically frozen in time with magic, but I woke up eleven years ago for some reason," Einzbern said.
"Eleven years ago, that's when I would've been four and first summoned Nero. Do you think that could be it?" I asked.
"Hmm, lost magic could have sent a wave of magic that caused the magic holding her in place to shatter. I would have to do some research into it, but that is why my club exists, that and as a way for my peerage to meet and it doesn't seem strange," Gremory said, smiling. "And you if you want to join our club. I won't make you become a devil like I said before."
"Alright, on the condition that if I am ever close to death you agree to make me a devil," I said.
"Alright, just out of curiosity any opinion on what piece you would prefer?" Gremory asked.
"Well, I suppose each has a special power similar to chess," I said.
"Yes, Rooks have amazing strength and defense, Bishops have more powerful magic, Knights are the fastest and have better mobility, Queens have all of those but to a slightly lesser extent, and Pawns can promote themselves to any of the other classes except King," she explained.
"Alright, well if you need to make me a pawn," I decided.
"Perfect, now onto magic," she said.
By the time the sun was fully set I had a basic understanding of the magic I could use and could do some small things.

So the next arc begins. There will be a time jump in the next chapter as I don't feel like doing a training montage for Izumi and them or other characters just like how I don't feel like explaining the way she can use magic right now. I feel like it would make everything slow and make people lose interest in the fic. Next chapter begins the Sports Festival and shows some of Izumi's new powers from her Sacred Gear(it isn't much).
