As Nikki and Rook returned, they saw Blake Backlash in the police breakroom showing his computer to Sarah Frederickson. He said, "Meet Jeremiah Caldwell."

Sarah cried, "ARE YOU KIDDING ME! This is all about the Frederickson-Caldwell Feud?"

Nikki asked, "What's that?"

Sarah as soon as she got her breathing under control said, "My family was one of the founding families of the city of Cypress Creek. Not soon after that we got into a feud with one of the other founding families, the Caldwells. I don't know any of the details. All I've heard is that it got real ugly."

Blake then said, "Well things reached a boiling point when Jeremiah Caldwell was accused but not covicted of raping a daughter of the Fredericksons. After that your great-great-grandfather, Evan Frederickson, decided to just move away. According to Evan's journal, as they packed up Jeremiah Caldwell called out saying, "The Fredericksons will never stop paying for the crimes they commited against my noble family."

Nikki interupted with, "Hey People! This is stupid!"

Blake said, "You have something to add, Detective?"

Nikki replied, "Well speaking purely hypothetically, if Jeremiah Caldwell were now a powerful ghost, why the heck would he hire Marcus Thompson. You would think he would kill you himself."

Blake said, "Well, since were speaking hypothetically, " and reached into his shirt producing his family talisman. He continued, "According to my families religious beliefs, this talisman protects my family from all sorts of evil forces. Bob and Emily had a similar talisman I believe. I'd be the first to admit that these talismans do nothing to prevent guys like Marcus Thompson from firing guns at you." He thought for a moment and said, "Well I have got to go."

Sarah asked, "Where are we going?"

Nikki yelled, "You are not going anywhere. You are an POI of an ongoing murder investigation."

Sarah angrily replied, "If you think that I am in any way leaving Mr. Backlash's side until I have some reason to believe that Jeremiah Caldwell is gone, you are out of your mind."

Nikki buried her head in her hands and said, "The girl whose claiming to be stalked by ghosts is calling me out of my mind."

Blake stood before Nikki and said, "Then come with us, Detective. Here is what I'm thinking. I'm heading to Cypress Creek. The Frederickson family may have left Cypress Creek, but the Caldwells are still there. In fact, they still live in the same old manor house they lived in a hundred years ago. I'm going to go to research the last few years of Jeremiah Caldwell's life to see if he found a way to torment a girl and hire a hitman decades after he should have died."

Nikki pulled back her hands and said, "Which is impossible!"

Blake replied, "Jeez, your right Rook. It really does get sad sometimes. Look entertaining your theory about the culprit being human, whoever it is is pretending to be Jeremiah Caldwell. That means that the culprit is someone who knows that Jeremiah Caldwell, you know, ever existed. Doesn't that toss a bit of suspicion onto the current Caldwell family? Perhaps your culprit just strongly resembles his great-great-grandfather."

Nikki cringed and said, "Alright. Let's go to Cypress Creek."
