Thank you to everyone who has favorited, followed or reviewed this fic so far.
Cer1992 gave me this idea so thank you to him, and to Brainstorm Sorcerer and Stand with Ward and Queen for some suggestions, plus the latter gave another idea which is implemented in this too.
This one takes place between 'The Contest of Champions' and 'King in Black'.
Enjoy.

Chapter 36- Dealing with a manipulator
Earth-1, Central City
The TARDIS landed in an alley in the city, opening up to reveal The Doctor and River Song inside, as they both walked out, looking around at the place.
"What a sunny city this is", The Doctor quipped. "Almost as if everything is hope and sunshine here."
"Well, I'm sure there would be a dark city to balance it out", Song shrugged, both of them chuckling a bit before walking forwards, a purpose in each step.
The Doctor took out a device, that had a very low humming sound coming from it. They were not here for sight seeing or anything of the sort, but on a mission.
This Cosmic Being called Uatu the Watcher had summoned them both and told them of this group on Earth-1 known as the Time Masters, who happened to have known about the Time Lords from their Universe, and had been inspired to become a similar organization.
However, they were as bad as the Time Lords, if not worse, and had soon started manipulating events using a device that they had called 'The Oculus', and were using it to make sure things ended up how they wanted, and in the way they wanted, to whom they wanted as well.
So, a lot of things that were wrong with the lives of the Heroes was actually because of them, including some of them losing their backbones and making stupid decisions, as well as ending up in toxic relationships where they took abuse from their partners.
All of this happened due to how the Time Masters manipulated the timeline with the Oculus, the Heroes of this world acting out of character just so the timeline could happen how the Time Masters wanted it to happen, whether it made sense with the true personalities of the Heroes or not.
But then, during the adventures of the Legends to stop Vandal Savage, Leonard Snart aka Captain Cold had destroyed the Oculus and sacrificed his life in the process as well.
Once that had happened, the manipulations of the Time Masters over the Heroes of Earth-1 had ended forever, since now their device to do it was gone.
Because of that, things got better for the Heroes, with them regaining their backbones, making sensible and smart decisions again, and ending those toxic relationships that had made them lose their backbones in the first place.
Now they were back to their usual selves, and the timeline was no longer set to reach a place where the Time Masters wanted it, fortunately.
But not all Time Masters had died in that explosion caused by Snart, and one of them by the name of Marco Guggensus had managed to finally build a small time machine of his own from the ruins of their base, and he was not pleased that he couldn't manipulate the timeline and the Heroes of this world anymore.
So, he had decided he would influence events directly from now on, travelling here and there to the past, and causing some minor changes which would ripple into bigger ones, and those would over time make the timeline end up how they wanted it to, again.
However, Uatu the Watcher had now sent the two of these to deal with this person, and stop him once and for all, making sure the Time Masters could not influence this world's timeline or the Heroes in any way possible.
The device was to search for the time machine, which had been hidden using advanced future technology, but that was nothing in front of the Time Lord and his Time Wife.
As they walked further, the humming kept increasing bit by bit, and The Doctor pointed forwards, then slightly sideways. "It is that way, it seems."
"Well, let's find it", Song shrugged, both of them walking in the direction, hearing the hum get louder and louder with every step they took.
Soon, they reached a park where children were playing, people were jogging or walking, and some couples were sitting on benches, other couples walking together as well, holding hands.
"Its close, isn't it?" Song inquired.
"So this Time Master hid the time machine in a public place and cloaked it, so no one would think to find it here", The Doctor noted, both of them walking and hearing the hum getting louder, until it was really loud.
They were now standing amongst some huge trees that cast shadows over them, and walking between them, the hum finally got to its loudest.
The Doctor shut the device off, and pressed another button, holding it up to see the time machine displayed on it now, Song looking at it too.
"Right in front of us here", Song said as she looked ahead with The Doctor. "So, let's take it out then."
"Yeah, its time for this thing to go", The Doctor agreed, Song taking out some sort of device that she placed upon the invisible and cloaked time machine.
A second later, something crackled, and smoke rose from the machine.
It was destroyed!
"NO!"
They turned around to see Marco Guggensus standing there, looking at them in horror. "WHAT HAVE YOU DONE?!"
"We stopped you from manipulating this world's timeline and its Heroes", Song shrugged coldly. "Now you won't be doing anything wrong here."
Marco started. "You had-"
The Doctor cut him off. "Now you're just an ordinary man, no better than anyone else. You can start over, live a normal life. But if you try to interfere in the events of history. I'll be watching."
"And waiting," Song added. "And I really don't know who are worse, you Time Masters or the Time Lords."
"Hard question", The Doctor quipped, as Marco's eyes widened on realizing who this was.
He started. "You are-"
"Yes I am."
Song suddenly punched him, knocking him out, then looked at The Doctor. "I think he deserved it."
"True."
With that, the Time Lord and Time Wife walked off, having dealt with the Time Reject, when they walked into two people, and the sight surprised them.
The two looked exactly like them, and they were both pretty shocked on seeing their lookalikes as well.
"Uhh….." the woman, an exact copy of River Song, trailed off. "What is…"
"Dinah, am I dreaming or are we seeing ourselves?" The man asked her.
Dinah Lance suddenly fainted, as her boyfriend tried to help her up.
Seeing it wasn't really serious, The Doctor and River Song quickly walked off as the former said. "That was weird."
"Sara and Laurel of Earth-2 said I looked like their mother, this must be her", Song realized. "And her boyfriend looks-"
"-like me, yes, must be a constant or something", The Doctor quipped, both chuckling as they returned to the TARDIS, and it disappeared, their mission complete.
Marco Guggensus was a stand-in for Marc Guggenheim, as he can be blamed for a lot of stuff wrong with the Arrowverse, and got pissed off that my series is different in a good way from the shitty canon, LMAO!
Now he gets his from The Doctor and River Song, and they also run into Song's doppelganger Dinah Lance, with her boyfriend being Eleven's doppelganger.
Plus my Arrowverse changed from canon during the Arrow Season 5/Flash Season 3/Legends of Tomorrow Season 2/Supergirl Season 2 mark, so the Oculus being destroyed changing things actually fits perfectly, since these Seasons were shortly after that.
Hope all enjoyed and see you all next time with another chapter.
