'Blood!' 'Blood!' 'E' "Blood for the Blood God!' 'Kill them all and let their God sort through the pieces!' 'Come on Technoblade, kill them faster! Let their blood coat every wall!'
Words could not describe how liberating it felt, going from having to talk to that stupid old hag to the blood bath that Technoblade now found himself in.
With the exception of her bodyguards, everyone who came within striking distance of Technoblade immediately got themselves completely ripped to pieces, with their iron armor offering no protection at all.
It showed just how insane the Legendary Holy Sword was as a weapon, as while a normal iron sword had a base damage of 8, after all the proper upgrades, his 'Wither Knight Sword', after being fully upgraded to the best of his abilities, had a base damage of 95.
With only mediocre training and not properly equipped to fight him, the average foot soldiers weren't even worthy of being called a nuance to Technoblade. Less substantial than a fly buzzing in his ear.
The magic attacks and arrows were more annoying, but his 'shield' was very effective against them. It seemed that the individual's blood red robes have very good defensive stats, especially against magic, and even might have had some kind of passive healing effect. The woman wasn't even completely dead yet, even if the poison had rendered her limp, which was impressive. He'd have to be sure to steal them to see if he can't use them himself later.
She might have even functioned better than a real shield.
In truth, only the four remaining bodyguards posed any sort of challenge at all. The four of them were stronger and better equipped than the normal guards, and after combat began, the Legendary Holy Sword identified them as enemies and told Technoblade their levels; 81, 83, 83, and 85. They were clearly the elite forces of the church.
With armor comparable to netherite plate, swordsmanship at the same level as Wilbur's, them being 40 levels over him and outnumbering him 4-to-1, Technoblade was at a serious disadvantage… or he would have been, if that first idiot hadn't frozen up when Technoblade used his boss as a human shield and fed him a free kill.

They were worth SO much EXP! It was absolutely crazy!
For some reason, it seemed like humans were worth more EXP at the same level than monsters were. That one man was worth almost as much as an entire week spent at his current Monster Grinder. It was like how an Ender Dragon could be drained for 2,400 times as much lifeforce as an Enderman, but far more extreme.
(Farm them! Cut them open and bleed them for all of that sweet EXP!) (Yeah! Kill them! Kill them all!)
Technoblade didn't need the encouragement. He was having too much fun. The boost that came from suddenly growing 9 levels pumped Technoblade up. Increasing his stats from being comparable to a level 75 to being comparable to a level 91.
Or so he thought. The bodyguards seemed to be keeping up with him, and their strength was nearly equal. Likely a factor he wasn't yet aware of, some form of magic, enchantment, or maybe even a long lasting potion they had drank before the fighting began.
A 4v1 fight against enemies who were just as strong as he was. It was exhilarating!
Though it was unlikely that any of them had ever fought against someone like Technoblade.
His wild laughter, his dilated pupils, the wide and reckless swinging of his sword and 'shield'. He appeared to them like a rampaging berserker, one that left an opening that could be exploited. They were so distracted by his upper body, that they failed to notice what was going on below.
The graceful and controlled footwork that was unmatched by any on the SMP, which could let him recover from any seemingly unstable stance that his swings put him into, letting his dodge and counter.
A knight aimed for his back, and a half step and pivot turned all his existing momentum to pull him out of the way, causing the blow to miss him by an inch, and shifting his body weight so that he could charge with a powerful 'shield bash', knocking the man off balance.
The follow up swing was barely blocked, biting into the man's shoulder and sending him skidding away on his ass, with Technoblade in hot pursuit, ready for a killing blow.
If it wasn't for his allies, the man would have died there.
A swing from Technoblade's right, forced him to block with his sword, and another attack came from the left, which he parried with his 'shield', that gave off a horrible gurgling sound.
The third and final Knight came at him from behind.
As the man pulled back his sword for a swing, Technoblade jumped backwards at full force, breaking his sword clash and using the arm to elbow his would be attacker in the chest hard enough to knock him backward.
The person he disengaged his sword with stumbled a half step, surprised by the Piglin's move.
It was all the opening Technoblade needed.
The 'Sonic Blade', let Technoblade's now forward pointing sword to jump forward at unreal speeds, and he took the man's head off.

"C…Captain!" The knight who had been knocked down first said in disbelief as he returned to his feet, clenching at his injured arm.
Technoblade started to laugh as he let his opponents recover themselves. "Is this really the best you got?" He said with his wide smile. "If you wish to defeat me, train for another 100 years."
"You… You bastard!" The man who Technoblade had parried with his 'shield' came running in to avenge his leader, to which, Technoblade countered with a wide and lazy swing.
The man easily parried the attack, only to be surprised when the sword went flying out to Technoblade's hand as he let go of it.
But the moment it left a ten foot radius around Technoblade, it magically vanished, reappearing in his hand again.
With his sword committed to parrying an attack that didn't exist, the paladin could do nothing as Technoblade swung his sword, catching him in the gut.
His armor was really good. Even the Legendary Holy Sword didn't cut him clean in half. So he was still hanging in there as Technoblade stood over him. "Make that 200 years." The Piglin boasted, before beheading the man.

Technoblade grinned at the remaining bodyguards, until he noticed that one of the men's wounds were being healed, and a faint trail of light was going to them from some of the surrounding people, who looked to be praying. "Hey wait a second. Have these guy's been healing you this entire time? They've been giving you buffs too haven't they?" Technoblade said, annoyed. "Well, if they want to be part of this fight, then fine. I'll treat them as part of this fight."
"No! Don't!"
"[Hundred Swords]!" A hundred replicas of the Legendary Holy Sword appear in the air and flew towards the randos who populated the room.
In an instant, another 100 people dropped dead.
"You… You monster." One of the remaining paladins said, staring at Technoblade with wide eyes.
"Don't act like you weren't the ones who started this. And don't blame me for being the one who finishes it."
The men built up their courage and charged Technoblade again, but without buffs, without healing, with only 2 of them, and with Technoblade having grown 5 levels and being stronger than ever… it was an inevitability.
One of the knights lost his sword arm, while the other lost his head.
[Technoblade leveled up to level 57]
The disarmed knight grabbed his stump, crying out in pain as Technoblade laughed and looked down at him. "Hey buddy. It's been fun, but it looks like this one is my win. So how about you do me a favor. When you meet back up with your bodies, deliver a message for me." He said grinning as he looked into the fearful eyes of the paladin. "'If you wish to defeat me, train for another 300 years.'"
Technoblade's sword flashed and the man's head rolled.
[Technoblade leveled up to level 58]
Technoblade took a deep breath, basking in the glory of the moment, as the voices cheered.
(Man, what LOSERS! 4v1 and Technoblade didn't even lose any health!) (Won't even worth a strength potion. Feels bad man.) (Why did it take Techno so long to kill them anyways? Try for sub 15 seconds next time.) (E) (Don't forget to loot their stuff! They had some really nice stuff!)
…Alright, so maybe they weren't exactly cheering, but whatever.
With the elite out of the way, there wasn't even any threat. All the others were so weak that they couldn't even stand up to the orphans and monsters, despite them still being locked at level 40.
…Or that is what Technoblade thought.
"All of you, drop your weapons!" One of the black robed assassins shouted, drawing Technoblade's attention to where he stood, holding onto Orphan #1 in front of him with a blade pressed against her neck. "I said drop them and get on your knees, or I swear I will slice open her throat!"
Rather short one, but wanted to end on a cliffhanger, because Lawful Evil is best Evil.
Like to quickly point out that Technoblade doesn't realize that people don't get multiple lives in this world. So he doesn't realize that all those zealots that he just killed are actually really dead, as they didn't act like their existences were on the line(in his opinion).
Even Dream became scared of death when he was reduced to his last life.
In the RotSH canon, a 'World Eater' is supposed to be descending in order to devore all of the magic energy in their magically rich world.
...Is that a bad thing? The over abondance of magic energy is the reason why there are random monster spawns. Canonically, before the 'bad guys' created a synthon to limit the levels of randomly spawning monsters, even the random Balloons were level 50. That is some really dangerous and destructive stuff. Even if the Adventurers would all be higher levels to defend them from the stuff, normal farms and children would still be level 1 and getting 1 shot by everything. Buildings would be destroyed by random birds and farmland would be too unstable to be relied on.
Stopping that probably saved more lives than the Waves of Calamity ever took.
Trying to undo it in order to more easily grind levels... Are... Are we the bad guys?
