Part 13 - The Twins' Names and Ceremony
Few days later, the two came home with their newborn twins, and others were exicted to meet the two of course, and they couldnt wait to announce them to the rest of the tribe but also their names, as they chosen them just the day before and got their names registered as the ones to have as they were perfect names.
So another day went by, then the two showed up at the annual bonfire as they had it once or twice a month, and this was the first one of this month, and they were exicted to show the twins of course and give their names to Eldest Elder Quil Aterea, as he was the one to make it as a ceremony as the twins were also going to be given their Quileute names.
Bella and Jeremy got everything ready, and the twins were being carried by the two over in their wagon or in carseat as the two were either heavy to carry or just annoyance to drive through sand. So after parking their car at the parking spot, the others except for few who could and would keep their coming to the bonfire a secret for now knew they were coming. And those were Jeremy's younger brothers and sisters and aswell Sam and Old Quil of course. Sam had also told Emily, as she was his imprint, but also she was his fiancee still and was obliged to know as none should keep secrets from their future spouse even if it is to protect them from damage.
As soon the others who didnt know they were coming tonight saw who they were, they gasped out loud, and one of them, Paul said
"Bell, J!" And the two smiled at him, and walked on over to them all, and Old Quil smiled as he stood up and greeted the two with hugs, and he also gave one look over onto their twins in their arms, and had a soft, gentle smile on his wrinkled face, as they were lead over to a seat nearby him and Jeremy's family, who all smiled or waved at the two.
Jacob sat frowning and his arms crossed over his chest and pouting like a child that he really is like afterall. Others were in small shock of seeing them out for first time this soon after their surprise twins' were born and how good Bella also looked like after giving birth all naturally aswell. Bella grimaced as she was lead to her seat and helped down to sit, and Jeremy just smiled and kissed her head, as he said
"You ok, baby?" At that she nodded, and said
"Yea, just need to remind myself of sitting more carefully and more comfortably, J." At that he nodded, and pulled out a pillow for her and she took it with a grateful smile, and put it under herself, and gave a relieved sigh after feeling better by sitting on a pillow. Their twins, they placed them on a huge pillow for now, and a blanket over their bodies, as they were sleeping good. Bella smiled, so did Jeremy at their twins, as Jeremy's mother, Maria said
"Oh I can't wait anymore, what is their names, Bells, J?" At that the two shared a look, and Jeremy said
"Our son's chosen name is James Charles Aster Cameron, after Charlie and James is after myself, as I know you were going to name me James not Jeremy, but chose to use Jeremy. And this little girl's name is Ayla Isabelle Rose Cameron, as Ayla is a favorite name of ours and Isabelle is after her mother afterall. Just with an E instead of A on the end of the name. Rose is also after B's favorite flower and Aster is after my own favorite flower."
Many gasped or smiled tearfully at their names' being chosen, and Old Quil said
"Perfect names for twins, strong and good names." Bella gave the elder man a gentle smile, as she said
"We chose them to remember people in our world or carry on the traditions. As I know the J names for the boys in Cameron family is something to carry on and Ayla has been a childhood favorite of mine, and when I told Jeremy about it, and we learned it was a boy and girl, we knew exactly what names they were going to have, but we waited to be able to see them in person, to put it down to their names being them. And they are perfect for our son and daugther. Our beloved ones."
Jeremy just grinned as Bella was all teary and smiling too, and he wrapped an gentle arm around her, and she leaned into his chest, and others smiled at this. Emily said
"I can't still believe you did it all by natural means." Bella rolled her eyes, as she said
"If you are strong enough of thinking that you CAN do it, Emily, then you can and will do it, and I didnt even have epidural, for when we came in, I was already at 6 cm's, and since I was having twins' their births and labour itself with them, went faster than with a single baby. When they re-checked me after getting up to the labour and delivery room, that was true, for I was then at 8 cm's, so I decided against the epidural for the time being, and their births were uncomplicated and fast, but also so perfect for I got to feel everything really. And that is something that you should take in consideration when giving birth, for before medicine even exicted in the world, we did it all that naturally, and I am glad and proud of myself that I got it to be like this over being medicated and all."
Jeremy just smiled and kissed her head gently, as she then heard Ayla making some whimpering noises, and she just smiled and bent over to pick her daugther up and exposed herself rather quickly to most of the boys' shock of seeing a revealed nipple that engorged that it was and that Ayla latched on so quickly too, and Bella had a relieved face soon after that happened, and Jeremy took a look at their son's diaper and found it dirty, and so without questions or grimaces he changed it easily whilst little James slept on for now. Soon Bella gave him Ayla, and he did the same with her diaper after having burped her. Bella then burped James over her shoulder, and the two were back on the blanketed pillow and was rather pleased with the feeding and diaper changes.
Old Quil said
"Well, I am very happy and pleased, Isabella, Jeremy, these two are a blessing to our tribe, and therefore in two weeks time, they will be given their Quileute names that I will pray over with our gods and passed medicine men and women in our tribe."
Bella and Jeremy gave the man a warm smile, and snuggled into each other's arms and others were still in shock of the two had twins without telling anyone about it before birth nor what their names were going to be like. Harry said
"I am glad you included the man that raised you, Bells, in your son's name." Bella smiled, as she said
"Despite he knew he was not my father and all, he still raised me to the best he could as Renee refused to be a mother overall to me, and he was a great man, Harry. And thank you."
Harry just gave the young woman a smile back, and Sue smiled too, and so did Seth, as he was just a happy go-lucky kid despite being one of the wolves, he still had that childish look on the world and thought the best of most people still, and he loved the two alot, and Leah was just a pain still, as she was glaring/staring at Emily and Sam as they sat wrapped in each other's arms and all smiling too.
The rest of the evening went without a hitch really good, and their twins did well too as their first outgoing to the world of their home. Bella and Jeremy left around 10 PM, being still tired and getting used to having twins now, and all that jazz.
