Chapter 5: Emotional Damage - Part 1

Hyuga Compound - Hinata and Hanabi POV

Hanabi couldn't decide whether to rip Naruto a new one or have her father do it. Here she is, listening to Hinata explaining to her that Naruto isn't in a relationship with her. 'Are you fucking serious!?' She saved him from Pain and she cheered him up over Neji's death. WHAT DOES IT FUCKING TAKE TO LOVE HINATA BACK!?

Normally Hinata would bash Hanabi spying on Naruto to see if he's with another girl. And today's that day she finally caught him with another girl and it made her heart sink. Naruto is seeing someone else? No. Hanabi is jumping into conclusions again. Right?

"Hanabi. Did you see them holding hands or?" She didn't want to think of this."kissing?" She asked. Hoping Hanabi says no.

Hanabi froze. If she would have stayed a bit longer, she would have caught what Naruto was doing with the red harlot. "No." Was all Hanabi could say. She didn't hate Naruto or anything. It's just that he was hurting Hinata without realizing or trying.

Although Hinata wasn't pleased Hanabi was spying on Naruto, she was almost relieved that Naruto didn't do anything with this mysterious girl.

Almost.

"Well when are you going to grow a backbone and claim him? Sooner or later, these fangirls will get their hands on him and they're bigger than Sasuke's fangirls." Hanabi said.

Hinata looked down with sad eyes. When Naruto was a 'nobody' she had him to herself.

Sort of.

Now he's famous and every girl wants to marry him or have his kids. She heard rumors there was going to be an arranged marriage for Naruto and Danzo's granddaughter to which Tsunade admittedly denied that will never. EVER! Happen.

Selfish as it sounds. She wishes Naruto goes back to being a nobody, that he's only a somebody in her eyes. "I don't know." Was all she could say.

Hanabi grew a tick mark. "You don't know? What the hell do you mean you don't know? Either you want Naruto or not."

Even with her lack of confidence she knew it was now or never. And she wants to. No. Needs to know how Naruto feels about her. There's still one thing on her mind. That girl.

"Who was Naruto-kun with?"

The Next Day - Karin POV

Yesterday was a good day for Karin. For the first time she had a real date, just as she wanted to be. Sure it wasn't Sasuke, she wanted her first date and first time with him but fuck him.

Knowing that Naruto is the polar opposite of Sasuke, she realized bad boys aren't made to be husbands and trying to make them husbands is pointless. Unlike a certain pink haired banshee will accept that logic.

Speaking of Her.

Karin heard a knock at her apartment door. She hoped it might be her new crush but it wasn't. She was greeted at the sight of the pink haired banshee from the café the other day. It looked and felt like she wasn't here for a welcoming.

"Yes?" Said Karin. Knowing she'll regret answering the door.

If looks can kill, then she's fucked. "How dare you bad mouth Sasuke-kun!?" Sakura screeched.

Karin deadpan. 'We're really doing this now?' "Because he's an asshole and it's true"

"NO HE'S NOT YOU HARLOT! SASUKE-KUN IS SWEET AND KIND! YOU'RE JUST JEALOUS YOU CAN'T BE WITH HIM AND GO FOR NARUTO BECAUSE YOU'RE DESPERATE!" Sakura shouted.

Karin went from tired to pissed. She calls her a harlot. She denies Sasuke's true colors. She accused her of being jealous and now she's calling her desperate because of one simple date with Naruto. She was dead wrong.

"Jealous? I'm jealous!? Why the fuck would I be jealous of not getting some attention from the one bastard that tried to kill not only me, you as well!" That shut Sakura up. "And unlike Sasuke, Naruto is the sweetest guy a girl can ever want as a husband and you know it but you're too busy trying to wed someone who doesn't give a damn about you or anyone. Naruto obviously was the right one for you and you messed it up. You could of had a perfect boyfriend that'll treat you right but NO, just like any other sorry excuse of a kunoichi, you love to be hurt by toxic guys. You're blind. You just don't get it. You don't realize how lucky you are to have someone like Naruto around you, but instead you're just blocking your blessings. Why do I bother explaining, you don't care what me or anyone else says." Karin shuts the door in Sakura's face.

Sakura fumed. She wanted to deny everything she said about Sasuke but it's true. In fact everything she said is true. "You're wrong. You're so wrong. Sasuke is. He's." Sakura failed to say. "Oh screw you!" Sakura left the apartment complex.

Unbeknownst to her, two Hyugas were watching the scene. The brunette was shocked and have new thoughts about Karin while the bluenette have a mental battle.

"Was that her?" Hinata asked.

"Yeah." Hanabi said, still shivering.

Hinata sighed. 'It's now or never.'
