Digimon Adventure, Episode 34: Out on the Town
Tai narrated, "We figured the 8th child had to be somewhere in the Shibura section of town. The rest of us spread out while Joe made phone calls to every school kid we knew 4 years ago. Maybe one of those kids is the DigiDestined. Meanwhile, that flea-bitten menace Gatomon was still on the prowl., causing who-knows-what kind of trouble. Mimi and Sora stumbled onto this fire-breathing bozo, called SkullMeramon, and that's when things looked pretty gnarly till MetalGreymon joined the fight and was able to cool him off- well, sort of."
We skip the theme song.
We open up to Myotismon's lair where DemiDevimon has entered the lair.
"Lord Myotismon! Those kids did it again! They bested that hothead SkullMeramon!" DemiDevimon reported.
"Unbelievable! First Parrotmon and Mammothmon, then Gesomon, then Raremon, and now SkullMeramon have fallen to the hands of these brats! I am surrounded by incompetent fools!" Myotismon exclaimed in anger.
"Well, it was Gatomon who recruited him, so she should he taking the fall for this," DemiDevimon said.
"I'm heading out now. And you'll be elsewhere, searching," Myotismon said.
"Yes, your evilness," DemiDevimon said.
Myotismon took his leave of his lair. DemiDevimon flew out.
"Now to one-up that tomcat and gain all the credit for it," DemiDevimon said as he snickered.
Wizardmon was waiting for him to leave.
"DemiDevimon is out on the search again. I should be out there, too. I'll have to find the 8th child before anyone else does. The fate of our 2 worlds are hanging in the balance and we are running out of time," Wizardmon said. "Now, where do I start searching?" He sighed. "I must hurry."
Meanwhile, in another part of the city, the people are going about their business at night.
"Let me drive, you're going the wrong way!" A voice said.
"How do you know which way to go? You never been in the real world before," another voice spoke as a gray cloud hovers over the night sky.
"What's the difference? I never been in a car before either," the first voice said.
"Well, it's my first time too," the second voice said.
The voices came from 2 Digimon exploring the city while riding on a car. One appears to have a pumpkin for a head carved into a Jack-o-lantern with an axe on the top. His body is a burlap sack with mitten-like hands and his feet are footies like on footie pajamas. He wore a green cape and had yellow eyes surrounded by darkness.
The other is a humanoid Digimon with a body made of gray rocks. It has yellow eyes and two rocks on its head that resemble bear ears. It has three fingers on each hand and three toes on each foot.
"Whoa, check them out!" The pumpkin Digimon said as the rock Digimon laughed. "Ew! So these are city people in the real world. They don't look like much fun."
The Digimon Analyzer activates.
"Well, Pumpkinmon, you're the right guy to teach them what fun really is! You are without a doubt the most rocking creature to ever have a pumpkin for a head! Remember, chicks dig evil Digimon!" The rock Digimon said. The Digimon Analyzer deactives. "At least that's what I keep telling myself, anyway." The Digimon Analyzer activates again.
"Gotsumon, you are the MON! We're going to have a blast here in the real world! They may even name a building after you- the Gotsumon-ument! Where they keep all the party supplies!" Pumpkinmon said. The Digimon Analyzer deactives.
"3... 2... 1..." Pumpkinmon counted.
"Blast off!" Both Digimon said as they laughed, going to have fun.
Meanwhile, Matt and TK are riding on the subway. Matt is taking TK home, but they had expressionless looks on their faces, knowing what was coming.
"How much longer, Matt?" TK asked.
"Relax, TK, you're almost home," Matt said. They stare at the window as Tsunomon and Patamon are above them in the luggage compartment.
"Matt and TK's mom and dad aren't together anymore, Patamon. So even though they're brothers, they don't live together," Tsunomon explained to the Digimon of Hope.
"So TK lives with their mom and Matt lives with their dad? That explains why they try so hard to stay together all the time," Patamon said. The time on TK's Digivice reads 7:07 PM.
"It's sure late," TK pointed out.
"Yeah, so?" Matt asked.
"The next stop's good enough," TK said.
"No, I'm going to take you all the way home, little brother," Matt said.
"You don't have to," TK said.
"I know I don't have to, but I'm going to, okay? I got my reasons," Matt said.
"What reasons?" TK asked.
"You're my brother," Matt answered.
"Thanks, Matt," TK said.
"Ah, nothing like sweet brotherly love," Patamon commented.
"That's a Digimouthful," Tsunomon said.
"We like when you guys get mushy," Patamon said.
TK didn't take the compliment too lightly, because he thought Patamon was making fun of him.
"Hey, quit it!" TK scolded his partner.
"Easy, TK," Matt said, trying to calm him down.
"You don't have to be mean about it. I thought what you guys said was swe-" Patamon tried to say when TK stood up.
"Mind your own beeswax!" TK said. "Why are you listening to our conversation anyway?"
"I didn't mean anything by it, TK! I promise! If you wanted it to be private, you could have said something!" Patamon said.
"I didn't think I needed to!" TK exclaimed. "And if you can't mind your own business, you might as well leave!"
"Fine! You don't want me around, I'll leave!" Patamon exclaimed.
"Patamon!" Tsunomon said.
The train came to a complete stop. Patamon flew out as soon as the doors opened.
"I know when I'm not wanted!" Patamon said, flying out in a huff.
"Patamon, don't-" Matt said as he and Tsunomon tried to go after him, but they quickly lost sight of him. Matt picked up Tsunomon and turned to his younger brother. "Patamon got off the train, TK. Don't you want to go after him?"
"Who cares about him?" TK asked, feeling angered by Patamon's comment.
"I think you care about him," Tsunomon said.
"Don't you?" Matt asked. TK didn't say anything else.
"TK?" Tsunomon asked.
"Better decide, TK! The door is closing!" Matt said.
TK quickly ran out with his brother and Digimon.
"Where'd he go?" TK asked.
"And where are we?" Tsunomon asked.
Further to Patamon, his face is still red in both anger and embarrassment.
"Ooh, that TK. He didn't have to bite my head off like that. Maybe it sounded a bit insensitive," Patamon said. He quickly shook his head. "No! There's no way I'm forgiving him! Not this time!"
Back with the brothers and Tsunomon, they stepped out of the subway tunnel.
"It seems like we were walking around for hours," TK said.
"Yeah, I'm tired, and I don't even have any feet or legs," Tsunomon said.
"You shouldn't have yelled at him like that, TK," Matt said.
"Hey, it's not my fault," TK said.
"Well, actually, it is," Matt corrected his brother.
"Well, I'm really sorry," TK apologized, feeling guilty for what he did.
"I understand, TK. I know you didn't mean to hurt his feelings," Matt said.
"Well, I thought he was making fun of us," TK said.
"No way, dude. You know Patamon better than that," Matt said. Tsunomon turned to one direction.
"Hey, why don't we try looking over there?" Tsunomon suggested.
Matt and TK complied with him and walked down to the spot where he was looking at. They went past a casino. Pumpkinmon and Gotsumon were gambling at one of the slot machines. The prize comes out to be tiny silver balls, much to Pumpkinmon's amusement. He laughed.
"Alright! Another winner!" Pumpkinmon exclaimed happily. Gotsumon sat next to him.
"So, will you give me a few?" Gostumon asked.
"What, again?" Pumpkinmon asked.
"I'll pay you back. I promise," Gotsumon said.
"You'll pay me back with what?" Pumpkinmon asked.
"With what I am about to win," Gotsumon answered.
"But you never win," Pumpkinmon said.
"I'm hot tonight!" Gotsumon said. Just then, a casino staff member walked up.
"Hey, you two!" The staff member said. "You kids just don't get the message! Get out and stay out!" He threw them on the escalator, going down. "If you have to try sneaking in here dressed like cartoon characters, at least get a decent costume!" He takes off, leaving the 2 Digimon as they hit the bottom.
"Whoa!" They both yelped.
"Boy, it's a good thing we were about to leave!" Pumpkinmon said.
"Or we'd teach you some manners," Gotsumon said. The staff member came back.
"WHAT DID YOU JUST SAY?!" The staff member yelled. They started to run off, fearing he was going to chase after them.
Around the corner, a teenage girl is talking on her cellphone.
"And I told her don't get the fushia lip gloss, it's so last year," the girl said as Pumpkinmon accidentally bumped into her.
"Whoa! I think you knocked over a monster!" Gotsumon said.
"Even worse- I think I knocked over a teenager!" Pumpkinmon said. "I've heard about these strange-looking creatures." She looked at them, ticked off by what they said.
"Hey, it takes one to know one!" The girl said.
"Excuse me, do you know what time it is?" Gotsumon asked. The girl checked her watch.
"Time for new clothes!" Pumpkinmon said, laughing.
"Get lost, you creeps! And what's with the costumes? Aren't you guys a little late for Halloween?" The girl asked. Pumpkinmon and Gotsumon were confused by what she said.
"What's Halloween?" Pumpkinmon asked.
"I don't think I like these teenage things," Gotsumon said.
"Me either. Maybe I can reprogram her if I pull out her safety mechanism," Pumpkinmon said, pulling on her nose ring. She yelped in pain. She screamed. They started to run off.
"Come back here, you little mutants! This teenage thing is going to teach you some manners!" The girl yelled, chasing after them.
Matt, TK, and Tsunomon walked down the stairs, looking for Patamon when they saw Pumpkinmon and Gotsumon running. They knew they were Digimon when everyone else thought they were just 2 kids in costumes. Tsunomon looked at them with a determined look.

Pumpkinmon and Gotsumon stopped in their tracks when they saw the DigiDestined in front of them.
"Hold it right there!" Gabumon said. "Why are you two in such a hurry?"
"Do you know these guys?" TK asked.
"I sure do. They work for Myotismon," Gabumon said. The brothers were shocked to hear that.
"You're right, but right now we're being chased by something even scarier than Myotismon!" Pumpkinmon said.
"There's a really mad teenage human after us! Come to think of it, you better hide, too!" Gotsumon said as he and Pumpkinmon grabbed him. The girl continues to chase them.
"You can run, but you can't hide dressed in those stupid costumes!" The girl yelled after them. She stopped to Matt. "Where are they?"
"Uh, they went that way," Matt said, pointing ahead of her.
"Thanks!" The girl ran past him, looking for them.
"I think I know why you two troublemakers are in the real world. Did Myotismon happen to send you here to find someone?" Gabumon interrogated Pumpkinmon and Gotsumon.
"Yeah, that 8th DigiDestined kid," Pumpkinmon answered.
"Huh. Then you're our enemy," Matt said.
"No, we're not! We just want to cruise around the city and have some fun," Pumpkinmon said.
Matt, TK, and Gabumon were confused.
"Well, we thought you two were evil Digimon," Matt said.
"Evil, shmevil. We love it here. In fact, net stop- Hollywood!" Gotsumon said.
"Ta-da!" Pumpkinmon and Gotsumon both said, doing a pose.
"They're not ready for TV," TK said, looking at them confused.
"Typical. Everybody wants to be in show business," Gabumon said.
"Lights, camera, and action!" Pumpkinmon and Gotsumon both said in unison.
"Yuck," the brothers and Digimon of Friendship said in disgust.
"Hey, there's some lights!" Gotsumon said. They gasped when they jumped for the traffic lights.
"Hey, what are they doing up there? Hey, get down!" Matt exclaimed. They didn't listen to him.
"Stop! Go! Stop!" Pumpkinmon said as he and Gotsumon played with the traffic light. The cars were bumping into each other, causing so much trouble. Everyone were yelling at each other over the traffic lights. Pumpkinmon and Gotsumon just laughed.
"That's enough!" Gabumon said. "That's not funny, it's mean!" Police sirens are heard.
"Sirens!" TK gasped.
"Get down or the police will arrest you!" Matt said. "We better get out of here, guys! Let's run!" TK and Gabumon agreed with him and ran off.
"Did he just say ' let's run'?" Pumpkinmon asked.
"Sure did!" Gostumon answered.
"Wait for us!" Pumpkinmon and Gotsumon said, jumping off the traffic light.
Matt, TK, and Gabumon managed to get far enough before the police arrived. They knew they were going to have a hard time explaining to the police when they showed up. Matt was first to realize they weren't with them.
"Hey, where are Pumpkinmon and Gotsumon?" Matt asked.
"They were right behind us," TK pointed out. "They must have gotten lost somewhere."
"Those two- even when they're found, they're lost," Gabumon said. He screamed when he saw them in a store across from them. Pumpkinmon is wearing a pinn dress while Gostumon is in a white shirt, blue pants and a red bow tie.
"Pretty," Pumpkinmon said.
"Ta-da!" Gotsumon exclaimed.
Matt, TK, and Gabumon just looked at them, dumbfounded.
"Man, oh, man," Matt and TK said.
"I think this one makes me look fat, but what do you think?" Pumpkinmon asked.
"Well, then let's switch!" Gostumon said. And they switched clothes.
"You guys need to change your attitude!" Matt said as he, TK and Gabumon went in the store.
"You need to change your clothes," Gotsumon said, jumping at Matt, TK, and Gabumon, dressing them up.
Matt ends up wearing a blue jacket and gray with a dark blue scarf.
"This look says you're not afraid to think big!" Pumpkinmon said.
TK is dressed as a Japanese referee wearing pink shoes.
"Here's a sporty look! Course, I haven't figured out what sport is it yet," Gotsumon said.
Gabumon is wearing a teddy bear costume, leaving his face and horn visible.
They were uncomfortable in the change of clothes.
"Amd finally, something nice in a little teddy," Pumpkinmon said. "Well, what do you think?"
Patamon flies by them and TK spots him.
"Oh, hey! Patamon!" TK exclaimed.
They got the clothes the 2 Digimon dressed them in and into their regular clothes and chased after him.
"Hey, Patamon, come back!" Matt yelled after him.
"So, should we follow those guys?" Pumpkinmon asked.
"And why not?" Gostumon answered with a question.
They chased after them.
Matt, TK, and Gabumon quickly lost the trail again.
"Do you see him anywhere, Matt?" TK asked.
"No. Looks like we lost him again," Matt said.
"Patamon doesn't usually hold a grudge, but he was mad as a bull with a Black Gear," Gabumon said.
Pumpkinmon and Gotsumon suddenly showed up to them, holding up ice cream cones.
"Hey now, don't looked so bummed out," Pumpkinmon said.
"Yeah, I'm sure you'll find your little flying pig friend somewhere," Gotsumon said.
"Maybe some ice cream will cheer you all up," Pumpkinmon said.
Matt and TK knew it was too good to he true, because something was up when they're holding ice cream. Gabumon thought the same thing.
"You guys don't have any money, so how did you get ice cream?" Gabumon asked.
"We stole it!" Pumpkinmon and Gotsumon both admitted.
Matt and TK winced because they saw the ice cream vendor running after them.
"You crooks! Come back with my ice cream!" The vendor yelled as she chased after them. Matt, TK, and Gabumon ran off, knowing they were going to be blamed for it, too.
"I can't believe you two!" Matt exclaimed. "Everywhere you guys go there's trouble! The next time you get someone angry, make sure they can't run very fast!"
They stopped to catch their breath as soon as they lost the vendor. Pumpkinmon and Gotsumon still held the stolen ice cream in their hands.
"So, want some ice cream?" Pumpkinmon asked.
"You stole it," TK said, refusing the ice cream.
"Gabumon won't take it either, right?" Matt asked. Gabumon looked at the ice cream hungrily.
"Ice cream. Yeah," Gabumon said, reaching for it.
"Gabumon!" Matt and TK said, snapping him out of it.
"Sorry, I lost myself for a sec," Gabumon said.
A dark cloud hovers above them and lightning crashes. A bolt of lightning shoots straight down in front of Matt, TK, Gabumon, Pumpkinmon, and Gotsumon, revealing to be Myotismon. He was not pleased by their efforts.
"Myotismon!" Pumpkinmon and Gotsumon gasped.
"Myotismon!" Matt, TK, and Gabumon exclaimed.
"Losers. Failures," Myotismon hissed.
"No, no! Don't say that!" Pumpkinmon and Gostumon pleaded.
"Instead of causing pain and suffering, I find you here eating ice cream," Myotismon said.
"Well, it is stolen," Pumpkinmon and Gotsumon both said.
"I don't care about ice cream! Have you found the 8th DigiDestined child yet?" Myotismon asked.
"Well, we were about to find him!" Pumpkinmon and Gotsumon both said in unison.
"Redeem yourselves by stealing the Crests from these children or else!" Myotismon threatened.
"No problem, boss! That's what we were about to do!" Pumpkinmon and Gotsumon said, turning to their attention. Matt and TK gasped as Gabumon growled. The 2 Digimon chased after the brothers and Digimon of Friendship. Myotismon chuckled wickedly.
"Can you believe those two turning on us?" TK asked as he ran.
"And I thought Pumpkinmon and Gostumon only wanted to have fun, not fight!" Matt said.
"I suppose they'd rather fight us than fight Myotismon!" Gabumon said.
Pumpkinmon and Gotsumon continued to chase after them.
Meanwhile, Patamon lands on a street light, finally regretting for flying off.
"Hmm. I just can't stay mad at TK anymore," Patamon said. "Besides, I really miss him."
"So I told Rebecca and Sarah to just find us at the park later," one girl said to another.
"That'll work. It's like- it's so easy to find somebody at the park," the other girl said.
"Yeah, it's totally easy to find somebody there," the first girl said.
"Oh, in the park!" Patamon said as he perked up. He flew to find TK.
Speaking of which, we get back to Matt, TK, and Gabumon as they're still being chased by Pumpkinmon and Gotsumon. They're suddenly trapped when Pumpkinmon is standing in front of them.
"Hey, how did you do that?" TK asked.
"Aren't I amazing?" Pumpkinmon retorted.
"Well, you might make a nice pie," Gabumon said.
"Come on, let's turn around," Matt said. TK gasped.
"I don't think so!" Gotsumon said, coming up behind them. Matt and Gabumon turned around and saw him.
"We're surrounded!" Matt exclaimed.
"Sorry we have to do this to you guys, but orders are orders. You understand," Gotsumon said.
They get backed into an alley, knowing there was no way out of it. They knew the only way out of it is a fight, so Gabumon will have to Digivolve into Garurumon in order to get past them.
"Okay, if it's a fight you want, let's do it!" Matt said.
Pumpkinmon and Gotsumon laughed as they growled. They waited for what was coming at them.
"Uh, I quit," Pumpkinmon said, quickly giving up before the fight started.
"Uh, me too," Gotsumon said.
Matt, TK, and Gabumon were confused by how quick it was.
"Should we fight? Somebody always get hurt," Pumpkinmon said. "Besides, it's way more fun just hanging out and crusing around the city."
"That's for sure," Gotsumon agreed. "Hey, why don't you guys hang out with us?"
"Huh?" Matt, TK, and Gotsumon asked in surprise.
Lightning strikes again. Knowing Myotismon was coming, Pumpkinmon and Gotsumon had to hide the DigiDestined from him.
"Whoa! Myotismon's coming!" Pumpkinmon said.
"You should all hide!" Gotsumon said.
Not needing to be told twice, Matt, TK, and Gabumon hid just so Myotismon wouldn't see them.
"Quiet," Matt said.
Myotismon appeared before them. Pumpkinmon and Gotsumon were both scared when they saw him.
"Where are the DigiDestined?" Myotismon asked.
"Uh, they were here a second ago. They must have got away," Pumpkinmon said.
"Yeah, you can't believe how fast they are. We almost had 'em, boss," Gotsumon said.
Myotismon saw through their lies like glass and he glared at them.
"Yes, I can imagine," Myotismon said. "You had your chance. Now to make an example for your foolishness by feeding you both to my bats!" He closes his cape and opened it. "Grizzly Wing!" He sends out his bats to devour them both. They screamed when the bats began to bite them.
"Trick-or-Treat!" Pumpkinmon shouted, summoning a giant pumpkin above the vampire Digimon. The pumpkin comes down, but the bats flew and devoured the pumpkin before it could hit him.
"Rock Fist Attack!" Gostumon shouted as he shoots a rock from his body, but Myotismon easily stops it and destroys it. The bats flew right at them. The bats starts to devour them both. They screamed in pain and horror.
"Pumpkinmon!" Gabumon gasped.
"Gostumon!" TK also gasped.
"Don't watch!" Matt said, holding TK. They didn't watch, but Gabumon couldn't take his eyes off of the carnage. All that was left of them was the axe from Pumpkinmon and a small rock from Gotsumon. They both dissolved into bits of data. Myotismon steps forward.
"Well, that wasn't very difficult. Now it's your turn," Myotismon said.
Tears forms in Matt's eyes as they're filled with sadness and rage for what Myotismon had just done.
"Those two. They were really trying to save us," Matt said.
"You're right," Gabumon agreed. Matt growled.
"And you just killed them both out of cold blood!" Matt exclaimed.

A blue beam of light pours from the top of the Digi-zone and forms the image of Garurumon that soon disappears. Gabumon gains his data and spins in the Digi-zone.

Myotismon stops and Garurumon came rushing at Myotismon with a burst of blue sparkles. The wolf-like Digimon pounces on him, but Myotismon uppercuts him.
"Go get him!" Matt said.
"Howling Blaster!" Garurumon shouted, firing his attack at Myotismon, but he easily cancels it out. Garurumon leaps for him again.
"He should pay for what he did to those two!" Matt said.
"Crimson Lightning!" Myotismon shouted, wrapping Garurumon in his red whip.
"Those two only wanted to be our friends!" Matt said. Garurumon is thrown towards a building on the opposite side as Matt's Crest of Friendship glows. "Garurumon!"
Ultimate Digivolution theme
Digimon!
Matt's Digivice vibrates rapidly and turns solid blue. It shoots a beam of light that blasts through his tag and the Crest of Friendship spirals into the air.

The Crest of Friendship stops and explodes, beaming light down the Digi-zone and gives Garurumon his newfound strength.
"Garurumon Digivolve to…"
Garurumon stands upright and gets an anthropomorphic build. He wears a belt across his waist and it goes across his upper body. He gains a glove with gold brass knuckles.

The belt connects to his blue jeans and he gains spiky knee guards along with a few bandages. He punches the air with his other arm, releasing energy. He also gains a few earrings and does a couple of spin kicks.
"WereGarurumon!" He howls.

WereGarurumon bounces right off the building and heads right towards him.
"Come on! Go an get him!" Matt exclaimed.
Myotismon came at him as well. They clashed right into each other.
Meanwhile, Patamon flew in the park, and he couldn't find TK anywhere. He hides in a tree, not wanting to draw attention to himself.
Patamon sighed, "Those girls said the park was the place to find someone, but where's TK?"
"Do you hear that?" A man's voice asked, getting his attention.
"Over there! Look!" Another man's voice said.
Patamon turned to his left and he saw the fight at hand.
"It's Myotismon! I knew I shouldn't have flew off when I did! TK is in trouble and it's all my fault!" Patamon said. "I gotta go and help!" Patamon flew out of the tree and right to where the action is.
Matt and TK followed WereGarurumon and Myotismon as they fought.
"They're up there!" Matt said.
Myotismon pushed WereGarurumon at a building behind him. Myotismon attacked with another Crimson Lightning, but WereGarurumon quickly dodges it and backflips upwards.
"Wolf Claw!" WereGarurumon crosses his arms in a slash. The slash energy hits Myotismon into another building behind him. WereGarurumon goes after him with some frightened patrons inside. WereGarurumon gasped.
"Grizzly Wing!" Myotismon shouted as he sends his bats after him. The bats pushes him right out.
"Oh no! Look out!" Matt gasped.
WereGarurumon strikes a sign and lays on his back as Myotismon levitates above him.
"Crimson Lightning!" Myotismon shouted, sending out his bloody red whip, smacking him.
"WereGarurumon!" Matt called out. Matt couldn't believe that WereGarurumon was easily being beaten by Myotismon. It could be that he's just too strong for him even as an Ultimate level Digimon.
TK was watching, knowing it was anything but good.
"WereGarurumon's in big trouble, and it's all my fault! If I hadn't been so mean, Patamon would still be with us and we wouldn't have met Pumpkinmon and Gotsumon," TK thought. WereGarurumon manages to get back on his feet, but Myotismon smacked him again with Crimson Lightning. Myotismon laughed. He manipulates his red whips to lift the Digimon of Friendship in the air. Tears forms in TK's eyes. "If those poor guys had never met up with us, they would still be alive right now!"

Patamon stopped in the middle of the sky and felt his power increasing, knowing TK was very close.
"It's TK! I'm Digivolving!" Patamon said.
Patamon spins in his Digi-zone as he gains his data.
"Patamon Digivolve to... Angemon!"

Everyone were awestruck to see an angel had suddenly appeared from out of nowhere. Angemon flew right towards the fight.
Speaking of which, Myotismon slams WereGarurumon down a other building's roof.
"You can do it!" Matt said.
Myotismon chuckled evilly, but his chuckle was cut short when Angemon came flying in with a battle cry. He raised his staff and uses it to cut Myotismon's crimson whips. WereGarurumon opens his eyes and sees the Digimon of Hope above him.
"Angemon," WereGarurumon said.
"Are you alright, WereGarurumon?" Angemon asked. WereGarurumon stands on his feet.
"Yes, thanks to you I am," WereGarurumon said.
"Angemon rules," TK said.
"Well, I guess we don't have to look for Patamon anymore," Matt said. Myotismon glares right at Myotismon.
"Hmm, Angemon. I never thought I'd see you here! You may have defeated Devimon back on File Island, but your powers are no match for mine!" Myotismon said.
"Angemon, shall we take him?" WereGarurumon asked.
"Let's go!" Angemon said.
Hey Digimon
Angemon raises his staff as WereGarurumon moved in to kick him. Myotismon dodges, so Angemon swings his staff down. WereGarurumon bounces off the opposite building and heads for him. A burst of green energy erupts. Myotismon flew up in the air.
"It's time I take my leave. We will fight again," Myotismon said, taking off for his lair as he laughed.
WereGarurumon and Angemon came hovering down and de-Digivolves back into their Rookie forms. Matt was surprised to see WereGarurumon revert back to Gabumon instead of Tsunomon. He must have figured Gabumon has gotten used to his new power. They lay on the ground, exhausted.
Matt and TK ran up to their partners.
"I hope they're alright!" Matt said.
"Me too!" TK said.
Matt helps Gabumon up.
"Gabumon?" Matt asked. TK started to cry.
"Oh, Patamon, are you okay?" TK asked.
"Yes. I'm alright now, TK," Patamon said, opening his eyes.
"I'm sorry, Patamon. I'm sorry I got mad," TK apologized.
"Don't cry, TK. It's alright," Patamon said.
Matt smiled as he watched the two of them reconciled from their earlier argument.
Now all that was left was taking TK home. They passed by the shop they spotted Pumpkinmon and Gotsumon in.
"Hey, look in that window," TK said. They remembered Pumpkinmon and Gotsumon trying on some clothes. "That's where those crazy Digimon tried on all the clothes, remember?"
Matt didn't answer.
(Flashback)
"Look out! We're going Hollywood!" Gotsumon said as he and Pumpkinmon did a pose.

Gabumon was silent as well.
(Flashback)
Pumpkinmon and Gotsumon jumped on a traffic light and messed with the lights.
"Stop! Go!"
"Come on, have some ice cream, guys!" Pumpkinmon said.
"Yeah, it was a steal!" Gotsumon added.

Matt remained silent.

Pumpkinmon and Gotsumon chases after them, following Myotismon's orders.

"They were funny," TK said.
"I know what you mean, TK. I miss them, too," Matt said.
In the sky, 2 shooting stars flew above the night sky.
Matt narrated, "I guess we shouldn't take our friends for granted. TK nearly lost Patamon's friendship, and who knows when we'll ever see Pumpkinmon and Gotsumon again, but one thing's for sure. I know Myotismon isn't through with us yet. His henchmen are out there right now, searching for the 8th DigiDestined."
Meanwhile, Gatomon is above the Kamiya apartment, watching Kari.
"You may be sweet, little Kari. But next time I will get my claws into you," Gatomon thought.
Meanwhile, the 8th Digivice is resting in a crow's nest made up of wire hangers.
