Quentin Lance's apartment.
"So about the taser?" Oliver asked, standing outside the apartment.
"Do you want me to go first?" Laurel smiled, with a teasing look on her face trying to break the internal tension she felt.
"Yeah," was his only response.
"Alright," Laurel knocked.
Seconds later the door opened, "Laurel, Oliver," Quentin said in surprise seeing them both standing there, "What happened?"
The couple hesitated before entering the apartment. The pair made their way to the couch sitting beside each other Laurel taking Oliver's hand in hers.
"Now I'm worried," Quentin commented, taking a seat in the chair across from the couch.
"There's something we both have to tell you," Laurel started before turning to Oliver, who nodded "We're pregnant," they said in unison.
Quentin immediately stood his hand on his head, "Pregnant," he mumbled, as his mind turned to think about the consequences for his daughter and not to mention his relationship with Donna.
"Dad, I'm sorry. I just didn't think,"
"Laurel, honey there's nothing to apologize for," he pulled his daughter into a hug, "But him, what the hell? I thought you were seeing that damn reporter?"
Oliver looked down towards the floor, "I've ended things with Susan, almost as soon as I found out. I'm taking full responsibility for this,"
"You better," Quentin reluctantly, letting go of his daughter. She immediately reached over, squeezing Oliver's hand.
"What about the Scandal? When the press and the tabloids get hold of this they're going to have a field day," Quentin inquired.
Laurel responded, "There isn't much we can do to get around it. But we are going to speak to Jean to see if she has any suggestions,"
"So I guess this is why you called out," Quentin guessed.
"Yeah, I just got to figure out a way to contact Sara, plus we still got to tell Felicity, John, and Curtis,"
"Not to mention your mother, I know things aren't the greatest between you two but she deserves to know,"
"You're right Dad, Mom deserves to know," you could hear the apprehension in Laurel's voice, given her mother's reaction to her being a metahuman.
"Honey, if you want I can come along," Quentin suggested.
"No, I think it's something me and Ollie, have to do together. Plus I want to stop by STAR labs, I want Caitlin's opinion on my pregnancy and the potential side effects of me being a metahuman,"
"Right, I love you, honey," Quentin pulls his eldest daughter in for another hug.

The Bunker
Felicity nearly skipped out of the elevator, with Oliver following close behind. Oliver had asked her to reopen, the investigation of potential recruits, "I'll have the files up in a moment,"
"And Curtis, he's on his way?"
"Yes, I called him as soon as I got off the phone with you," Felicity answered, "So what's this about? You and Laurel were dead set against recruiting," Felicity spun her chair around to face Oliver.
"You'll find out soon enough," Oliver replied, "So the recruits?"
"Yes, here's Rene Ramirez AKA Wild Dogs, he mostly targets drug dealers," she remarked.
Oliver nodded along, uncertain of the whole thing. Yet, being out there alone without backup, with a child on the way frightened him, "Yeah, he was also dishonestly discharged from the military," Oliver countered.
"Evelyn Sharp," Felicity gestured to the screen, rather proud of herself. It was her expertise that saved the Black Canary's repetition after Evelyn had stolen the suit from the hospital.
Releasing those photos to the media, proving to fake Canary was nothing but a teenager. "Felicity, she's skilled but only a teenager, No!"
"Alright, Rory Regan AKA, Ragman," Felicity brought up another image, "Magical rags, we could certainly use a heavy hitter,"
Oliver frowned, after everything with Darhk he was done with magic, "Magic,"
Felicity looked up, "Come on work with me here, you're the one that wanted to give this a second look Oliver," You could hear the frustration in her voice.
"I know, I know. I'm sorry there's just a lot on my mind with Laurel's pregnancy,"
"What? Laurel's pregnant!" She glared at Oliver.
"Yes," Oliver answered.
"How long did you know? Is it yours? Felicity rambled, "oh God you're dating that reporter!"
"Felicity, yes it's mine and I've known since yesterday morning. I've ended things with Susan,"
"How? Well, I know how, but how?" She rambled now pacing back and forth.
The elevator door opened revealing Laurel with Thea right behind, "Oliver, you were supposed to wait," she said immediately, seeing the state Felicity was in.
Oliver squeezes his eyes closed, "It slipped out,"
"So you're pregnant?" Felicity inquired.
"8 weeks,"
"Wow, it wasn't something I saw coming," Felicity remarked, looking rather uncomfortable.
"Me neither," Laurel patted her belly.
"Well, this explains Oliver's sudden interest in recruiting," Felicity remarked.
"Recruits? I thought we agreed that was a bad idea, Ollie,"
"Yeah, just giving things a second look. I'm going to be alone out there, I figured with the threats we're facing it might not be for the best," Oliver referring to the Vigilante and the Throwing Star Killer.
"Ollie, I know what you're doing. But we can't rush into things. We don't know these people, making our identities known. I can't, we're going to have to work with what we have," Laurel placed her hand on Oliver's cheek.
Oliver leans into it, "Alright, I'll table it for now,"
Felicity huffed, disgusted at the intimacy, and walked out, bumping into Curtis on the way," "Felicity!" Oliver yelled trying to stop her.
Curtis, "Whoa, what was that about?"
"Curtis, you may want to sit down, we have a lot to tell you," Laurel greeted him with a worried look.

Laurel and Thea's apartment
Laurel collapsed onto the couch, exhausted between telling her father, Felicity, and Curtis, "Ollie, it's all my fault. If I had to stop to think,"
"Laurel," Oliver raised her chin with his finger, "It takes two,"
"Yeah, but I should've known better, the lack of birth control on my part and a lack of protection," she responded.
"Laurel, I could have rebuffed you but I didn't. We both weren't thinking," he told her, now taking a seat next to her and pulling her close.
Laurel snuggled into his body placing her head on his shoulder, "I'm still sorry, I ruined any chance for you to get back with Felicity,"
"Hey, Felicity is completely on me. I should have talked to Samantha and amended our arrangement once I proposed,"
"Still I've always been careful with you Tommy, about this type of thing," her hand went to her belly. "I just didn't think that night,"
"Laurel, no matter what these coming months will bring, I promise to be with you every step along the way. This child of ours," his hand went to her still flat stomach, "Is my first priority, you will not be doing this alone,"
Laurel squeezed his hand, "Together,"

Felicity took another swig of the bottom of vodka that Oliver had left behind, she needed to forget. How could they do this to her? Yes, technically she was dating another man but it was Oliver she loved.
It should be her carrying Oliver's child, why couldn't he tell the truth. How could he hide William from her? All she needed was honesty, took another swig, and collapsed into the pillow crying herself to sleep.
