There it was, Lodestar High from an Aerial View,
This was Sunset's first time seeing it from such a view. High up in the sky she was, the highest she'd ever been up until this point. Her eyes lit up at the scene of Lodestar High at 8:00 in the morning.
At this point, she should land on the ground outside the street market...
Or, she could continue flying and make her way over to the roof. And maybe get some extra brownie points.
So that's what she did! Propelling herself forward.

She landed on the roof, letting out a sigh of relief, "At least I'm not total dog shit anymore," She giggled to herself, before turning around to look down below at the students.
The view here was amazing. She'd never been on the roof alone before, well nobody ever goes up here. And pretty much the only reason was that Flash Sentry was always lurking around these parts.
...
Something then came over Sunset, she'd been here plenty of times before. But it was never alone, and it was never out of her own choosing. Whenever she'd been here, it was to drag Flash to class.
There was that one time when Flash made a pretty obscene comment about her...and understandably he was punched in the face for it. Or that one time where she threatened to break Flash's arm if he didn't show up to Play rehearsals, or that other time where she threw a bucket of cold water in his face to wake him up.
I mean they weren't good memories, in fact it was just memories of both of them bickering at each other.
But...there was also that one time.
She widened her eyes a little and blushed. Of course, that memory would come back. It probably should've been a throwaway memory or just a moment where Flash was questionable.
But that one time, where Flash hugged Sunset out of nowhere just moments before she was about to punch him awake. Besides her Dad and her little brother, that was the first time a guy had hugged her. And you know...with Sunset's emotionally complex ass, that was a pretty big moment in her life.
Not to mention, for the first time she felt bad about punching him afterwards. Heck, she was even trying to find a way to apologize to him. Of course, that went nowhere and she's tried to forget about that moment ever since...
She slapped her forehead and grumbled, "It's only been a minute and I'm already thinking about that jerk again..." She needed to go to class, maybe she was just a little vexed after yesterday.
Entering the door into the seventh hallway, she began to muse about what happened yesterday.
Or...how it should've gone yesterday?...
"Who does something like that anyway? Saying that in the middle of a parade, especially with everyone watching!" she mused, "Like hello, have you ever heard of a private venue before? It's practically love 101 that you're supposed to confess your feelings in private, that would've been way more..." She stopped herself right there.
Widening her eyes, she began to blush again.
"What the fuck am I talking about?..." She asked herself, placing a hand on her head. Shaking it thereafter, "Okay, I...I just need to get to class." She walked past the 12th and 11th graders who were in the seventh hallway and slowly made her way down to the 2nd-floor hallway. Where her locker was.
But on her way, she spotted Rover at his locker. Talking on the phone, though she couldn't hear what he was saying from a distance.
Well, it wasn't long before memories of their last little disagreement came about.
Still, it wasn't a huge fight or anything. It was far from that, but Sunset had to admit she may have gotten a little bit annoyed. And since she was here, maybe actually talking to her boyfriend will get her mind off of what had happened yesterday.
So, that's what she did.
She smiled, grabbing his attention by calling and waving to him in the distance, "Hey, Rover!"
Rover widened his eyes, at that point he was on the phone talking to his girlfriend, Lycia. To be honest, he completely forgot about Sunset up until now, so he quickly hung up.
"Um...I gotta go─" He hung up, composed himself and greeted her back, "Hey there...you!" He grinned, leaning against his locker, snapping a finger and pointing at her.
Sunset giggled and embraced him in a hug, before getting to the point, "Listen, about yesterday. I'm really sorry for getting so angry at you like that."
"Hey, it's cool," Rover said.
"No, it's not," Sunset sighed and frowned, "I should've at least thought about the fact that you're at the busiest stage of High School and that you probably need some alone time to breathe and relax. I'm sorry..."
"Again, it's cool," He said, "Come on, you don't need to be that overly sad about it. I know that you really want me to meet your parents, but I just can't find the time at this point right now."
"I understand," She smiled, and then gave him a peck on the cheek.

DEAN SUGARBELLE'S OFFICE
LODESTAR HIGH ACADEMY
ㅤ
ㅤ
Yeah, now Sugarbelle was just plain confused.
He pulls a prank and then gets everyone angry at him─yeah that seemed like typical Flash Sentry behaviour.
The prank decimates his relationship with the remaining Apple family─I mean why wouldn't they be mad at him, he pulled a huge prank and ruined the thanksgiving parade that Applebloom and Babs were a part of.
And then...he tells Sunset Shimmer he likes her?
Yeah, that was where Sugarbelle was lost.
That seemed pretty out of character for him. Given how apprehensive he was about things sometimes, he just threw that out there and then promptly flew off without any explanation.
And yeah, it wasn't a surprise that she asked her friend and colleague Shining Armor to come to her office to talk. Though, he was just sitting there in a daze watching Sugarbelle give him a very detailed but quick description of what happened that night.
"So...here we are!" Sugarbelle said, shrugging her arms, "I mean, I don't know why I didn't see this coming or somethin', I mean Flash Bastard is infamous for pulling dangerous stunts in public. And this one was probably the worst one yet!─But, how do you explain that?! How do you explain him just telling Sunset that he loved her!?"
Shining titled his head, he should be in his class preparing some class material for the finance class he was thrown into. But, I guess he had a freebie if the School Dean had summoned him to her office.
"Uh...well first thing's first, are you absolutely sure that Sentry was the one who pulled the prank?"
Sugarbelle dropped her shoulders and looked at Shining with the: 'Are you being serious' look.
"HOW COULD YOU ASK A QUESTION LIKE THAT!?" She exclaimed with annoyance, "Shining, how...much of a blockhead are you to think he didn't do this?"
"Ah...pfft, I dunno," Shining shrugged, before scowling at SUgarbelle, "How much of a psychopath are you to even be dwelling so much on something like this?"
...
Sugarbelle scowled back, "touche,"
"I thought so─Look Sugarbelle I still have my reservations about blaming the kid for the 2 pranks. Especially what had happened at the dance. But, I do gotta be honest, if you will?"
Sugarbelle rolled her eyes, "You know, it's amazing that you're still managing to vouch for that piece of shit."
"...anyway─Look, I kind of suspected Flash liked Sunset Shimmer a couple of months ago."
"Really?" Sugarbelle looked a little unimpressed, "Or are you just saying that?"
"Well, I mean think about it─Whenever he did show up early last year, he'd always hang out on the roof, right? And who was the one I'd always send out to go get him? He always continued to do so and every time the same person would come up to drag him back to class."
"Honestly, I feel bad," Sugarbelle commented, "I don't know what I was thinking asking that prick to come to school at all, he doesn't take things seriously and all he ever wants to do is just be a pain in the ass to everyone. But continue..."
"Ah geez, you really need to chill out," Shining sighed, "Then there was also that play, and yeah I know that you and the whole school thinks he pulled a whole PR stunt by allegedly pulling a prank and then cleaning it all up─But, when he was on the school play, he and Sunset had to play the part of love interests. Maybe that was the spark that lit the match in Flash's heart."
"Well, he was also pretty much apprehensive to even do the School Play," Sugarbelle answered, "He didn't wanna even be a part of it, heck he and Sunset even fought because she couldn't trust him to show up to rehearsals at all!"
"That brings me to my last point. Which is, well he obviously beat up Rover for a reason, right? Possibly out of jealousy─Plus, after...what had happened between him and Sunset, Flash just had this...heartbroken look on his face."
...
"...What?" Sugarbelle softened up a little, her scowl easing up as this was new information.
"Yeah," Shining replied, "I mean, I saw it. But that was because I was close enough to see it, but after the...pfft...the slap and the punch...and Sunset shouting at him square in the face that she hated him, he just looked really sad and shocked at the same time. And seeing him like that, I kind of put two and two together. And, it's also made me suspicious─Why would Flash pull a prank on the entire school if he knew that the girl he had a crush on would be there?" Shining got off the chair and smiled, "Look, if anything you know Flash a lot better than I do, right? But, I don't think he just said he liked her for no reason. There could be some truth to it."
He let out another sigh, "I have to get going now but, don't be so concerned about stuff like this. It's not our place to gossip about it anyway, we're school faculty. There are rules and stuff."
He exited the room gently. Just leaving Sugarbelle there in even more of a daze.
She was mad that night, I think everyone knew that by now. It pretty much culminated in years of Flash pulling pranks, no matter how much Sugarbelle pleaded with him to stop. Not to mention that he'd beat up a student just a week prior to the dance, how he handled telling the Apple family about Appleloosa and then finally the prank the night of the dance.
She had so much pent-up anger towards him, that all she could do was slap him right in the face and cut him off from her and her family permanently. Plus, there was obvious evidence against Flash pulling the prank, she still didn't know how Shining could still be skeptical about it.
But, Shining did have a point. This year saw Flash and Sunset work together, on the school play and even on the Friendship Games team.
"Is it...is it really a possibility that he likes her?..." She mused, "...no! No, this has to be one of his annoying little tactics to bail himself out...but...even so..."
"Ugh, Shining's right..." She stopped herself, she had more productive things she needed to be doing right now instead of dwelling on what took place last night.
