"Did you enjoy the party honey, plus so proud of you on how you handled Shocket, plus figured out why she was acting weird and guess Branchie had fun too, wait where is she." Rocket said to Casey.
It was now later that day or early-evening and after cleaning-up after the party so Rocket was helping his lil girl calm down because it was almost her bedtime and the female-kit needed her sleep to grow big and strong, seeing Branchie who was Casey's best Groot friend enter her room hugging her, hearing Casey giggling seeing the female-sapling toot leaves making Rocket pick them up, knowing Branchie was still learning just like Casey with her powers hoping she would settle down soon because she'd had a long day like the sleepy story he used to tell Groot when he'd been Branchie's age while making both youngsters a bedtime-snack going back to Casey's room hearing laughter, seeing them playing tag knowing that wasn't such a good idea as their youbg brains were getting excitable before sleeping because it would be hard for them to sleep.
"Oh hey daddy, we were just playing is something wrong." Casey asked.
"You guys need to do something a bit quiter and no, it's not because you're being loud, playing something like tag might make you too wired to sleep, then you'll be cranky which we don't want." Rocket told her and Branchie giving Casey an idea, they couldplay with Duplo blocks or colour, asking her dad if those were okay.
"Yes honey, those are better ideas before you and Branchie sleep." he replied plus knew that Yoko was coming over to play which made both Branchie and Casey excited as Yoko alsays had awesome ideas for games to play yawning which Branchie fouhd cute guessing her best pal was sleepy and needed energy for tomorrow getting her favourite storybook which her dad read to her surprising Casey, she'd never heard a Groot story before.
"You wanna read me a story." she asked.
"I am Groot, I am Groot." she told her seeing her rubbing her eyes with a paw guessing she was ready for bed getting up walking over to her bed getting in cuddling her stuffed Groot just as Rocket walked in, tucking her into her bed kissing her furry forehead scooping Branchie up gently, putting her in her bed which was in Casey's room telling her the sleepy Groot story, which he used to tell her dad at her age hearing her sleepy tucking her in, putting the nightlight on, before leaving Casey's room seeing Groot hug him asking if Branchie was okay.
"Yep Branchie's okay, she's sleeping with Casey." Rocket told him.
"I am Groot, I am Groot, I am Groot." Groot said to him mentioning Casey starting preschool and Branchie wanting to go with her, as they went everywhere together knowing that would be an emotional day for him seeing his best friend hug him gently hearing him yawning sensing he was tired and saw him go to bed knowing he was being an amazing father to Casey knowing he was secretly worried about Casey's first day of pre-school knowing she'd do good.
"I am Groot." he whispered to himself.
The next morning, Casey was awake stretching after a good night's rest seeing Branchie awake too excited about today because Yoko was coming to play hoping her dad was awake yet as both female youngsters left the room, smelling breakfast guessing he was up, entering the kitchen seeing Rocket flopping pancakes which they knew took great focus so were sitting at the table surprising him, he was about to wake them up guessing they were excited about Yoko coming seeing Casey nodding.
"Yep, we had a good night's rest so ready to play, after a great breakfast that is." she said seeing Branchie nodding, drinking orange juice seeing Rocke with Yoko only Yoko was grumpy surprising her and Branchie, asking her uncle understanding explaining that he and Piper had let her go to a Guardians of the World concert which was way pastvher bedtime understanding, seeing Branchie whispering to Casey seeing her nod making Rocket grin guessing they were up to something, relieving Rocke as he had been worried about Yoko as she had been grumpy after waking up so Casey decided to help her knowing when she didn't sleep, seeing Branchie could help her.
"Have a good time my lil sapling, please take an nap." Rocke said kissing her furry head and nose before leaving seeing Yoko glare at her dad knowing, that it wasn't her fault as she was just tired from being up late last night so needed an nap to feel better before she could play, seeing her saying she wasn't tired only Branchie and Casey knew that she needed energy to play, seeing Yoko kick blocks over being like Godzilla making Branchie frown and Casey covering her furry ears at her being loud, which Branchie understood.
"Yokozilla stop rampaging as T9kyo might not make it, unless this sleepy kaju takes an nap in her volcano, plus her musical daddy, Rockezilla might roar if he finds out his little kaju didn't nap." Casey said surprising Yoko and impressing Rocket at his girl using her powerful imagination to convince Yoko to take an nap seeing Yoko asleep on the couch as Casey wrapped the blanket around her.
"Atta girl, let's go make cookies." Rocket told her and Branchie, grinning that she'd chosen the Godzilla shaped cookie-cutter after seeing Yoko having her Godzilla-style meltdown makijg Rocket chuckle but hugged her saying he was proud of her and Branchie for being understanding like big kids, saying they were going to do great at pre-school seeing her and Branchie exchange a grin.
"Whoa, Godzilla cookies, Casey you're a furry genius, Branchie too." Yoko said after waking up hearing Casey giggle explaining how she'd given her inspiration giving Yoko an idea saying they could play kajus after their snack, which Casey thought awesome.
