Sara POV
She told Jackson, her boss that she was leaving, then started home. She entered through the back door because she forgot the front door key. She knew Ursula should be home by now but couldn't find her as she was usually in the living room on the couch. She went to her room to change out of her uncomfortable work clothes. When she opened the door and she saw Ursula kneeling at her desk holding a folder
"What are you doing!" Sara said outraged.
" I...I,Sara-"
She marched over to her and ripped the papers out of her hand.
"Well, did you find what you were looking for?"
Ursula just kept her head down.
" what all did you see."
" I have a brother, you can change me back, and I am a princess."
" Come on" she went to her bed to sit she wasn't really mad anymore she knew she would have to tell her one day and she was ready, if she wanted to go back it was her choice.
" it all started when I was eighteen. I wanted to lead Atlantica I was fascinated with its history, it's future and people. I was preparing all my life for the time I got to lead. I knew if I got a chance they would have a better future. Life was great I fell in love with mark, your father, and marri ff y ed him. Then a couple weeks later I was pregnant with a daughter, you, but I also had a son, trident, and I loved both of you very much.the reason I decided to live on land was because there were dangers coming to the sea so I mixed a spell to turn all four of us human but my dad took trident to stay in the sea I knew it was just so he could have an heir to the throne replacing me. I had my life with you and mark here for four years until he disappeared. I also chose to live here on land because my father was not happy that I tried to use the trident to change me to human when he found out he changed me from mermaid to half squid. I was worried you would think I took the trident for power and-"
"No I don't think your a monster" Sara thought at this point that Ursula could read her mind. "The question is, did you use it for evil?"
"Well I sort of turned him into a worm but he wasn't letting me leave!"
"Ok ok."
Sara was relieved that Ursula didn't think she was a monster. What really happened was that she stole the trident and turned him into a worm and then was forced to be human.
"I want to go back"
"Wait what."
" I want to go back" she repeated " I want to know what it's like it looks wonderful."
"What about your job?"
" oh ya I'll just go and they'll just find someone else"
"Ursula-"
"And you'll come with me and-"
"I will not come with you if you go back but I will turn you back if that is what you wish"
"But Sara"
" I'll go quit your job for you if you like I'll need to pay the king a visit but after that meet me at the water"
"Ok"
"Now go pack you'll only need one outfit and essentials"
Ursula POV
Ursula was shocked at Sara's story but she knew she was still hiding something. Tomorrow she was going to Atlantica and she would see her long lost brother.
As she packed she thought of being a mermaid swimming around in the deep blue with dolphins and whales she could race around with no stop the light shining underneath the wav-
"Hey" Sara knocked on the door.
"Hey"
"So, are you sure you want to do this?"
"Ya I'm sure"
"You taking this?" Sara said holding up Ursula's black dress.
"Yes now go away and quit my job."
Sara POV
Sara left Ursula's room and went to the palace. when she arrived she went in the palace until the guards stopped her.
"Excuse me, I need in there"she said
" state your name and business"
"Sara and to quit my daughters job"
They escorted her to the king.
"Ursula quits but uhm I can take her place if you want" she fluttered her eyelashes.
"And who are you"
"Her mother"
"Oh we'll do tell her I hope she reconsiders But until she decides otherwise you have the job you start tomorrow."
Sara left without another word. that pesky little girl she thought ha wanting to be a mermaid she'll find that she rather me. Sara went to the shore and looked for Ursula when she spotted her she walked to her and said " payment, nothings free."
"What do you need"
"I have something in mind"
"What"
"I'll just add it to the spell" she smiled suspiciously.
She chanted and slowly Ursula was becoming a beautiful mermaid but then her tail turned as black a squid ink and they split into eight.
"What is this what are you doing"
"There is always a price"
Ursula realized at that moment that Sara was a monster. An octopus squid thing what had Sara done to her was she still mad about her looking for answers what would happen to her would she ever be human again or a mermaid she didn't know what would happen next but she would remember this day and get revenge weather she was an octopus or not. she swore upon this day that she would get her back. The spell was done She was a freak. just before she dove in the water she looked back at Sara and her evil smile and said "see you soon." She dove in and was on her way to Atlantica.
