hi everyone. sorry it took me this long to update, i was watching some youtube as i waited for someone to review after my last update to this story.

not going to lie. i was going to make this chapter as big as possible, but i decided to give y'all a last chance to decide if Coby should join Luffy's marine crew or not ok?.

tomorrow is my 22th birthday this year. and the party is in 2 days because my mama has to work tomorrow.

don't worry i'm not sad or anything. i know my mama, and she's only working a lot because she loves her family ok?.

as Luffy and Coby sail to shells town. they were excited to see it.

Luffy was smiling from ear to ear in excitement. Coby was nervous about finally becoming a real marine. the pink ship was sailing to the docks of shells town. along with it came a few marine soldiers standing at the docks.

hmm. they must think we're pirates. can't blame them. this use to be a pirate ship. now it's just our way to sail to here. once i hand over Alvida and get her bounty and Coby in the marines it's back onboard my boat i go thought Luffy to himself.

(at the docks of shells town)

Luffy put a gangplank on the docks so he can walk down off the ship.

Luffy walked down and then had marines pointing their rifles at him. Luffy just smiles at that.

one of the marines steps closer to the smiling Luffy. the man looks at Luffy's outfit before speaking.

who are you?, name and rank soldier ordered the man to Luffy.

marine petty officer monkey D Luffy. your turn said Luffy to the man.

i'm marine Lieutenant Ripper. what business do you have her petty officer Luffy? asked Ripper.

i'm here for two reasons. one being to bring you a prisoner. and the other one to bring in a new recruit for you lot said Luffy with a smile.

i see. which prisoner is it? asked Ripper.

the one known as iron club Alvida said Luffy to the marines. hearing this the soldiers all went wide eyed at hearing that.

we'll see for ourselves. take us to the prisoner petty officer Luffy ordered Ripper to Luffy.

sure thing said Luffy as he went back onboard the ship while being followed by Ripper and some soldiers.

when they went to see for themselves Ripper had his mouth open and his eyes were widen in shock at what he was seeing.

it is indeed Alvida. captain of the Alvida pirates. and with a bounty of 5,000,000 barries.

i don't believe it. you...you really did take down Alvida. someone contact captain Morgan. tell him the big news ordered Ripper.

yes sir saluted a soldier before running back to base.

well done petty officer Luffy. you've taken down a powerful pirate. without her, the east blue can hopefully rest easily so far said Ripper to Luffy.

your welcome sir said Luffy to Ripper.

just like that Alvida was being chained up and sent to her new cell.

so what are you lot going to do with this ship? asked Luffy to Ripper.

we are thinking about remaking it into a marine ship said Ripper to Luffy.

when we i get my pay? asked Luffy to Ripper.

we'll let you know when we're done ok? asked Ripper.

ok. i don't have anything better to do. i guess i'll stay here until i get paid said Luffy with a smile.

you also said you have a new recruit for us. were is this new recruit? asked Ripper.

that would be me sir saluted Coby to Ripper.

i see. what's your name son? asked Ripper to Coby.

Coby sir still saluting Coby to Ripper.

i'll see to it your in the marines Coby said Ripper to Coby.

thank you sir said Coby with tears in his eyes.

your welcome son. now then. you are to speak to captain Morgan about your report on how you took them down. do you need help finding his office? asked Ripper to the boys.

sure said Luffy to Ripper.

very well then. he'll want to meet you both in a few hours. please be there? asked Ripper.

ok said Luffy.

just like that Ripper walked away.

welp we best head into the town pub to see what's what here. you coming Coby? asked Luffy.

yes sir said Coby with a smile.

you can just call me Luffy ok? asked Luffy.

ok Luffy said Coby still smiling as he walked with Luffy to the town pub.
