Lost Sister
Lady Countryrose
Ch. 11
Hermione was tired, she spent all night in the Head common rooms. Where she cast all the silence and privacy spells she knew. Then Severus and Hermione had planned the prank war out, even with Lily's disappointment. She had voiced a few things that they had not thought about. In the end, they had a plan.
When they were done planning, it was well past curfew and Hermione was forced to stay. Since Lily didn't want her to wander towards the North Tower that late at night. Not when the marauders could be out to pre-strike them, if they were caught in the hallway alone.
Hermione had hoped that Lily was being paranoid. But one of the house ghosts had been looking for her through the night. Only for them to be pleased that she was hidden away. Since half of the marauders had decided to do a preminitive strike and tried to fire onto her before the pranks had started. She then learned that Headmistress McGonagall and Professor Potter had fixed it, to where the prank wouldn't come to pass. Only to hear that Mr. Filch was slimed by green ooze that couldn't get out of people's skin or clothes for a week.
Hermione Granger may have not liked pranks. But Hermione Evans was about, 'if you can do it, I will do it better.' She was going to war, she was taking down the marauders, and she was going to do it as a queen, as she did it.
Once morning had dawned, she had woken Lily and Severus and told them what she had learned. "Which ghost told you," asked Severus.
"One of the knights had come by. I think it was Sir. Gwen, who came and told me. But I need to head for my room and dress for war."
"How does one dress for something like that," asked Lily.
Hermione and Severus had shared a look. Before they gave each other a nod, then the two turned towards the doors that they needed to go.
"Is anyone going to tell me?!"
"NO," they had voiced as one.
Lily grumbled, "Fine, glad to see the two of you, getting on with each other."
Hermione then rushed to her room. Where she showered and dressed into a pair of dark brown dragonhide boots, pants and golden silk shirt. Along with a leather jacket that came down to her knees. Before she had left her room, only to see Severus Snape. He wore the same as her, but all in black.
The two gave a kind smile towards each other. Before they made their way towards the Gryffindor tower, it was still early, so they would be still asleep, and cast quiet spells on their persons. Then made their way into the boys' dorm.
Hermione had focused on Peter and Remus. While she allowed free rein of James and Sirius, with Severus. In the end, they had charmed each of them into girls with different hair colors, makeup and clothes. It was enough to have a variety of choices for the four, then they snuck out of the room. Only to leave behind a charmed camera to take pictures and a loud sounding horn to wake them up.
DU-DA, DU-DA! Sounding off a tune that many would know as charge. It did not only wake the seventh year boys, but the tower as a whole. Hermione and Severus giggled, as they rushed out of the tower.
Hermione grabbed Severus and dragged him through the hidden passages of Hogwarts. Only to cast a temporary prevention use for the marauders. Until they made it to the Great Hall and sat in the middle of a table in the far side of the room. Away from any door and watch for things as they play out. Not before long, Lily came and sat by Hermione and whistled.
"Wow, you are dressed for war." Lily shivered as she noticed as people came in. All eyes were focused on the pair, with hungry eyes. "But have you noticed the stares?"
Hermione sighed, "They can look but don't touch, otherwise they will have dislocated limbs and I will start with Sirius Black."
"Why," asked Lily.
"Because of how he is looking at me now."
The marauders had indeed made their way into the Great Hall. Sirius Black, his long wavy black hair, was gone. Only to be in blonde circles and a curvy body to match. He was sporting three-inch heels that were deadly hot pink. In a nineteen fifties housewives pink and white checkered dress, with a white apron on.
What surprised Hermione about his look, he made it work for him. Like it was not the first time he wore heels. As he walked into the room, modeling and owning the look, in a Sirius Black fashion.
James Potter came stumbling in, as he fought with his feet stumbling about, as a beauty in heels. His hair was flaming red, like Lily's, long and flowing. Wore a ballroom gown of emerald green, a long slit from his knee to calf. In cheap looking accessories and makeup to match.
Next was Peter, who looked like orange was his complementary color. From his hair, makeup and clothes, with turquoise accessories. He may not glide as Sirius in one-inch heels, but he didn't stumble like James attempted to walk. No, but Peter, out of all of them, was getting more girls to focus on him, than ever before.
Then there was Remus. Brown hair, with earth toned clothes and makeup. Instead of dressing him in a dress, she put him in a business looking suit that women were starting to wear. Mainly in browns and golds, with a green silk shirt. Out of all four of them, he had little to no heels on his feet. But seemed to own the look, as a few had raised their eyes into his amber eyes.
Lily had to hide her face. She had found the whole thing funny. Just as Hermione had noticed her camera coming, as it flashed off some poses from the Gryffindor boys. Once the camera came back to her. She was starting to get some orders for some copies.
"Hey, Evans," causing Hermione to look up. Sirius winked at her. "I will buy four copies, each, of our best sides."
Lily had flat out giggled after that. "Are you sure, Black, I don't think there is a bad side to you?"
"Oh, Red, I am so happy to hear that you have noticed." Only to have James hit him over the head. Before he turned to glare at the boy. "Please forgive me," he bowed. "I have a must rip her hair out, appointment with Jamie here."
Only for Sirius and James to fight like girls, in front of the school. Making the whole school laugh at them.
"Should we join them," asked Peter in his voice.
"Why," asked Remus, as he looked at his freshly painted green nails. "And have us break our nails, I don't think so."
Hermione couldn't help herself, but she was in stitches after that. She had never laughed as hard as she had done that day. Along with Lily and Severus, at her side. In the end, it was only James and Sirius that had gotten piled up with more detention. This time, to wear their girl uniforms of the day, as they served food into the Great Hall. Surprisingly, it was Dumbledore's idea, since he was still inside the castle, until the meeting.
Which Hermione had found, would start shortly after breakfast. Since it was beyond the norm, the meeting would take place in the Great Hall, with fifth through seventh years in the room. Just as breakfast came to a close, first through fourth years had left. Just as the Board of Governors came into the room. While most of the teachers had left the room, leaving behind Professors Potter, McGonagall, Flitwick, and Dumbledore.
"Who has called this emergency meeting," asked an elder, blonde man, who was standing next to Lucius Malfoy. Making the man his father.
"I did," called Charlus Potter. "I am calling this meeting to order, as I believe that Albus Dumbledore is no longer fit to be headmaster."
The elder Malfoy smirked. "As much as I would like to agree. I would have to ask, what charges are you basing this judgement on?"
"I am judging him on his lack of prevention of fellow students' safety in mind." Then Charlus Potter had gone on, not realizing that some students were getting by with murder. Since no one has ever stopped a group of Gryffindors, with nothing more than detention, as they bullied their power over the school. While Albus Dumbledore had done nothing to prevent those actions.
The elder Malfoy turned towards his son. "Is this true, Lucius? Has this group gone on to whatever they had wanted in the school?"
"Yes, Father, they have."
The elder man then looked out towards the room. "So, where are these boys?"
Hermione zapped the group, changing their looks back to normal. Then magicked them towards the Head Table, where they stood before the board.
"Well, I have never thought to see the day. Charlus Potter's son, Orion Black's son, John Lupin's son and Marthia Pettigrew's son." The elder Malfoy turned towards Charlus with a raised eyebrow. "Am I missing something?"
It was then that copies of four files were before the Board of Governors. The elder Malfoy had read every file, even other files with Albus Dumbledore and what he had done during those times. Only to find that he had done nothing while the group had the run of the school.
With a vote of Dumbledore stepping down as Headmaster, it was done with all that was accounted for by the board. Forcing the aging wizard out of the school.
"You have no idea of what is coming," he growled. "A Dark Lord will need to be stopped! I am the only one who can." But he was gone, thanks to some board members.
"Who will be heading the school," asked a female member of the board.
"Professor Minerva McGonagall, has been acting headmistress, since I had called the emergency meeting," stated Charlus Potter.
It was then agreed, as she was Deputy Headmistress for many years. Giving her the authority to carry on. "As for these four," glared, from the board members. "Have they served any new detention time?"
"Just two of them have," Charlus had gone on. "James Potter and Sirius Black."
"I have a suggestion," Alastor Moody had spoken up from the corner of the room. "I have heard that as soon as they graduate from Hogwarts, they would want to become Auroras. I would suggest that they start their training every weekend."
Lord Malfoy had given a thoughtful look. "I have heard of muggles sending their troubled teens to a military boot camp. Would this have that kind of training you have in mind, Mr. Moody?"
"The same, Lord Malfoy."
A female member sighed. "If there is no other suggestion, then I will agree to this."
Lord Malfoy gave a small bow. "You have no argument with me. But I must ask, who brought this matter forward?"
Hermione stood up and made her way towards the Board of Governors. Just as the four ghosts came into the Great Hall, surrounding her. "That would be me," she smiled at the group before her.
Lucius, being who he was, he wanted to know everything. "I must admit, I don't remember going to school with you." As he seemed to have forgotten that she was Tom's niece. Then again, she must look far different than she had, with the clothes she was wearing.
"No, you wouldn't have," she smiled sweetly. "Since I have just started this year. I am Hermione Evans, Lily's twin sister."
He blinked at her, then smiled at her. "I see, and how did you come to Hogwarts?" From the look of his eyes, he was trying to stump her.
"Uncle Tom Riddle had helped me find my way home." She saw the living shock, freezing him, as well as his father and a few others. "He had been busy trying to find me and help me get home. Where I can be with my sister again."
'I am tired, laying this on thick to get people to realize. I am your master's heir. And I will hurt you, if you hurt my sister.' At least, that she was trying to get across to them.
"Oh, yes, you were the girl from the paper. When Tom was announced as Minister of Magic." She saw his ice-blue eyes begin to show his eeriness towards her. "Do you have an idea of what he plans?"
Hermione smirked softly. "Only that he has some ideas of making a changeā¦" it was then that Lily and Severus came and stood next to her. "But that is not as important as what you plan, on the new changes?"
Lord Malfoy nodded his head in understanding. He then turned towards Alastor Moody. "Yes, please map out what you have planned for these boys."
Alastor Moody was many things in life. But she didn't like how he had kept looking at her. 'Is it so hard for him to believe that women can be in charge? Or is it simply that he was blinded by Albus Dumbledore for far too long?'
Alastor cleared his throat. "Well, for the most part, they would train. Run cross country, physical endurance training. With a healthy dose of learning the British Laws of our Wizarding World. Hopefully they will get too tired to prank anyone."
It was then that everyone that was part of the Board of Governors meeting signed off on. As for Remus Lupin and Peter Pettigrew, they have not done anything yet. But were advised that it will be the same with them, if they slip up. Only to have James and Sirius dragged out of the castle to start their training.
Professor Charlus Potter had turned towards her. "I do hope that this will service, for all the trouble he has done to your sister, Ms. Hermione Evans?"
Hermione sighed, "If he can leave her alone and not hurt people again. Then I won't push again."
Charlus nodded his head, before he had escorted the Board of Governors out of the castle. She had never thought to do this, but James Potter really needed to grow up. It was not as black and white, as he had liked to believe. But there were so many shades in between. Making it more of a 3D problem than just having a fanfare boy with a single focus.
'If he can focus on his studies, he could catch up to me on grades.' She made her way back to her seat and sat down, with Lily next to her. With a big sigh, she laid her head on Lily's shoulder.
"Tired," her twin had asked.
"Exhausted," she mumbled softly.
Lily then served Hermione some hot cocoa. Where it was enough to help her to jult with her enough energy. That she was willing to go outside with Lily and sit near the Black Lake. Enjoying the warmth of the day.
