Previously restricted to a small audience in the LinkedUniverse Discord Server, this non-explicit short story delves into the mature side of our heroes and their journeys. During a pitstop in Hyrule's time, the group spends a night at a questionable establishment; while they are met with nothing but hospitality, the stop reveals parts of their characters they didn't know they had.

Legend of the Sidekick: Ocarina of Time. When Ganon first places the curse on the Great Deku Tree, Maria does her best to keep it at bay. Except she can't cure it - it's not her job. Her job, as foretold by the legend, is to help Link, to keep him alive so he can vanquish the evil in Hyrule. Unfortunately, that turns out to be harder than she'd ever imagined it would be.

During Link and Zelda's first excursion together to the Spring of Courage, Link is transformed into a beast befitting the Goddess Chosen and the Zonai symbol of Courage; a Dragon. Zelda must learn to appreciate him more for who he is rather than what he represents before the Calamity's return, while Link tries to balance his new form and do his job. Continued on Ao3.
