Robyn's apartment

Shadow grappled her husky pup on the floor, while April and Robyn watched.

"She is a lucky girl. Snowy is a beautiful dog." Robyn smiled alittle with a trembling lower lip, exhaled alittle. April reached over and grasped her hand.

"Do you want to try again?" April asked. "Maybe, not sure. Triton's anniversary is coming up."

Wiping the tears away from her cheek. "There is no rush, Robyn. When the time is right, we will find a new companion for you." Robyn lightly patted her sisters hand.

"One day, hopefully."

April's phone vibrated in her bag, she took it out to answer. Flipping it open and read the caller ID.

"Who is it?" Robyn asked. "It's Casey." April answered, pressed the button and opened the text. Her eyes widened surprised.

"What is it?" Robyn asked again. "Casey has applied to be a NYPD officer."

"Wow, that's wonderful."

"Yeah, well this is a step forward. He can make a difference through the law even though he has done more then the police has in the past with the guys."

Robyn warmly smiled, agreeing. "True, but as a real officer. He make more a difference with the law on our side too."

"Agreed, hopefully this will clean up the streets " April hoped. Meanwhile, elsewhere a young stressed and exhausted woman stapled up filers. Seeking for worthy family fir the dig, unable to care for due to housing issues. The woman sighed, wiping the tears away from her cheeks and prayed for a good family to come forward and willing to open thier home, welcome her a place of a fire er home. Walking away, and to her car. Adjust her review mirror, applied her seatbelt then ignited the engine and drove home.

Moments later, a man saw the flyer and wrote the number down on his hand. Searched for a available phonebooth nearby and reached in his pockets for some change. Taking out a few quarters, retrieved the phone from the reciever and inserted the coins. Entered the phone number and waited for an answer.

Few seconds later, waiting fir the answer and realised had gotten the machine instead. He sighed, hung up and left the phone booth. But decided to try another time. Returning to the light post, and took down the flyer. Folding it up and placed his pocket.
