One hour later, selene parkson parked her car in the carspace available. Retrieved the key from the ignition and stepped out of the driver's seat. Locking the car and walked to the stairs of her apartment. Her landlord opened his door and stood in the doorway of his apartment. Exhaled the smoke of his heavy cigar, glaring at Selene with perverted hungry eyes. Selene didn't appreciate his behaviour, tried to ignore him.
"Selene." he called, pervertedly erotic. Selene closed her eyes, froze for a second whilst standing on the third step of the staircase. "What is it?" she finally answered.
"You look, pretty up this afternoon."
"How do I look pretty up?" she confusedly wonders then suddenly realised. She remained calm, silently rejected his advances. Resumed walking up the stairs. The landlord called out to selene once again.
"Selene." Finally she stopped and replied. "What is it, John? What is it that you want?"
"Rent." he demanded. Selene took out a rolled up, $100 notes and tossed to the man. Catching it and he said. "Come down and have a drink."
Selene replied as she rejected his offer. "No thanks, I'll be out by tomorrow."
The man gritted his teeth, annoyed. Slamming his door as selene resumed walking up the stairs and flinched to the loud bang of his door slammed shut. Entered the apartment, dropped the keys in the bowl nearby as she closed and locked the door behind her. A light clamouring paws came running to greet selene. A young beautiful white husky, with a black eye patch happily sat and smothered her owner with kisses. Selene smiled, lovingly patted the dog.
"Hey girl, been good?" The husky smiled, allowing her tongue to hang from her mouth and cuddled selene. "Hungry?" selene assumed and lead her to the kitchen.
Selene prepared, sweet Betty a bowl of chicken and pasta meal. Betty happily ate the meal then walked to her basket and laid down. Selene smiled, sat down and sighed. Knowing this was going to be the last time, they'd share a meal again. She knew this is going to be the last she will see Betty.
Double checked all paperwork was in order, filled and signed her part as old owner when new owner comes to adopt her. Packed her belongings, before packing the chinaware. Selene checked the answering machine as it flashed with one waiting message. Playback the message, listening to the recorded message. Selene couldn't hear the number left properly in the message. Exhaled, disappointed and deleted the message. Few minutes later, just as she sat down after preparing herself a cup of coffee. The phone rang.
Answering it and greeted the caller. "Hello?"
"I am calling about the dog you advertised?"
"Yes, I see and assume you read what the conditions I am requesting?"
"Yes ma'am. I have, would you be available for me to come have a look at her?"
"Of course, what time is suitable?"
