Middleton High was filled with students: jocks, nerds, freshmen kids, really all you'd expect from a typical high school. Kim Possible was among them, just a regular high school student, who happened to occasionally save the world with her lifelong best friend, Ron Stoppable.

Normally the two teens walk to school together every day, but recently they had been fighting and Kim walked to school alone. Ever since Ron returned from his trip to Japan, he'd been acting differently. He even looked different. Kim was thinking about everything that had changed with her best friend as she walked into the school, absentmindedly heading for her locker.

Monique, one of Kim's other friends, met with the redhead as she entered the school. They both stood by their lockers and began discussing the changes they'd both noticed in Ron Stoppable, clearly both a little concerned for the boy. They were discussing his new attitude when they noticed Bonnie walking down the halls, and decided to instead focus their gossip on the girl who had captured their attention.

For almost a month now, Bonnie had most definitely not been herself. Recently had been happy - something very clearly out of the norm for her - and had been distracted during class. She spent all her time texting her new mystery boyfriend, and to everyone's surprise, it wasn't Brick.

According to the all the rumors around school, Brick and Bonnie were no longer an item. Kim, along with the entire student body, are well aware of this new development since the rumors spread like wildfire in the high school. Now there was a new rumor going around school that Bonnie got herself a new boyfriend, and that the new guy doesn't attend Middleton High. Everyone was saying how she'd started dating some hottie who attended a local college.

Since these rumors picked up, Bonnie had been almost nice to those around her, even her rival Kim Possible. She had barely made any mean comments to anyone, and the smile she had on her face was glowing and genuine.

"Girl, there is seriously something up with her. She has just been FMO," Monique told Kim in a not-so-quiet voice.

Kim rise an eyebrow at her best female friend before she responded, "Mon, I still don't get the way you talk… What does that even mean?"

Monique rolled her eyes at her friend, "It means 'Freaking me out'," she explained, "She's not the same Bonnie anymore. Well, except for one thing..." Monique trailed off and both her and Kim glanced his way when Ron came into their line of sight.

Usually, Ron could be found wearing his red jersey and cargo pants. Today was a different. Today he wore a blue, form-fitting shirt and tight black jeans. Ever since he'd returned from Japan he had changed. Now, he was lean with muscle and his hair hung loosely to his neck, longer than it had been before.

Kim and her friend watched with interest as a fight between Bonnie and Ron happened nearby.

Bonnie made all her usual comments, and Ron responded similarly.

"Ron Stoppable! You think you're all cool now, ever since you got back from Japan. I don't know what happened, but it doesn't matter! You're still just a loser."

The two girls watching from the sidelines were surprised when they saw Ron just grin in response at the Queen-B, calling her that nickname that she had always hated, "Whatever you say, Bon-Bon!"

"Don't call me Bon-Bon you loser!" Bonnie huffed, then walked off angrily down the hall.

Ron redirected his attention to the two girls at their lockers, smiling as he approached them.

"Hello Monique," he said brightly, "and how are you doing today?" He very clearly addressed only Monique, ignoring his best friend and avoiding her gaze.

Monique just smiled back, grabbing one last book from her locker before responding, "Oh I'm doing just fine! Right Kim?" Monique smoothly included Kim in the conversation, and hit her harshly in the elbow, prompting the redhead to say hello to her best friend.

"Yeah, we're fine," Kim spoke to Ron, looking at him briefly. "I still see Bonnie is still getting on your bad side, Ron?"

Ron shrugged, now finally looking at his best friend. "Eh, it's no big deal KP. Bonnie is still Bonnie."

Kim nodded, closed her locker up, and looked back up to her best friend. "So, uh… you want to hit Bueno Nacho after school? Maybe go watch some wrestling matches? I heard steel toe will be fighting tonight." Kim smiled, hoping the old Ron was still in there, and hoping he'd decide to spend some time with her.

Ron's smile faded slightly, and one hand slid behind his neck, rubbing it nervously. "Umm… sorry KP. I have to… work out tonight… I have to be in shape for our next mission."

Kim caught the nervousness in his tone, and eyed him with dangerous green eyes. She didn't believe his excuse for a second.

"Ron!," she shouted in frustration, "What on Earth did they do to you in Japan?! I don't like this new you. Ever since you got back, it's like my best friend has changed into someone he's not! I miss my old Ron, the one who likes to have fun and who never takes things seriously! What happened to you?"

Ron waved his hands in front of himself defensively. "No way KP, nothing happened! It's just… this is who I am now, and you're going to have to get used to it. Listen… How about tomorrow, we can hang out all day after school, alright?" His tone went from angry to almost pleading, "Come on KP, you know I don't like when we fight..."

"Ron, we've been fighting because you been so secretive lately, even to me. And I don't like it." Kim fold her arms across her chest and frowned at him.

Ron looked rather upset himself, and when he spoke his voice was softer. "Kim, I'm just doing this just to keep you safe on missions. Just because I'm getting in better shape doesn't mean I won't have your back."

Monique, who'd been watching the argument silently, just smiled and nodded. "Nice save, boy," she muttered quietly to him.

Kim took a moment to think over his words, before glancing to look up at the clock. Noticing the time, she abandoned the argument she'd been having to address her two friends, "Oh man, we have to get to class! We're running late. Ron, did you get your Latin books?"

Ron smacked his head with his palm. "Ah man, I knew I forgot something. Ladies, go on ahead without me, I'll meet you there."

Nodding, the two teen girls left quickly toward their classroom as Ron headed back for his locker. When he got there, he popped it open quickly, and started digging for the Latin books on the bottom of a stack of textbooks. Rufus popped his head up out his master's pocket and looked around momentarily before hopping into the locker. He gave Ron a look that very much not happy.

The little mole rat crossed his paws in front of himself, glaring up at Ron. "Uh... you lied to Kim!"

Ron frowned, pausing. "I know buddy, but what can I do? Kim would freak if she found out the truth… Oh, I'm in a real mess, aren't I buddy?"

Rufus only nodded, and climbed back up on his master as the teen pulled the last needed book from the locker and closed the door. Ron sighed heavily and leaned his forehead against the cool metal of his closed locker as his mole rat friend looked at him with concern from his shoulder.

The mole rat patted the shoulder he was standing on lightly, "Tell Kim!"

"I can't do that, not yet anyway. I mean, if I told Kim, I might lose her. I just… I just can't do that, buddy. It will ruin our friendship for good if she finds out."

Rufus frowned a bit, but knew there was nothing he could say that would change his friend's mind. Instead, he just nodded, and climbed back into Ron's pocket, hoping to grab some sleep in between classes. The teenaged boy sprinted to his class, and managed to slip in the door and take his seat just before class started.

The first bell rang, finding Ron and Kim sitting next to each other with Monique across from them. Both Kim and Monique were paying attention to the teacher, while Ron was bored of the lecture and was staring off into space.

"Stoppable! Pay attention!" Barkin told the blonde boy, who jumped in his seat when he heard his name called.

"Sir! I'm just bored." Ron answered with a grin, putting his hand behind his head.

"Stoppable! My class is not a playing field, we're here to learn. I don't know what Japan did to you that make you so cold, but you'd better focus. I'd hate to have to give you detention!" The teacher spoke sharply at Ron.

Most of the class turned to look at the blonde, several of them frowning at his new behavior. Kim and Monique sent a worried look toward their friend.

Sitting in the back, Bonnie was oblivious to what was happening in the classroom. Instead, her attention was directed at the text she was sending to her new boyfriend. It read:

'I'll be over by 8:00pm, after Connie and Lonnie leave for their dates!"

After a few uncomfortable moments looking at Ron Stoppable's bored expression, the class continued as normal. That is, until a familiar beeping noise came from Kim's pocket.

"Beep Beep-" Kim ripped out the kimmunicator before the rest of the trademark sound could finish.

"What's the sitch Wade?" she spoke into the device.

Wade, on the other end of the connection, looked at his computer screen and gave the available information to her. "Draken and Shego have been spotted moving in on a science lab in Upperton."

"What for?"

"Let's just say they are stealing a big diamond. Drakken's next plan to take over the world, it seems." Wade responded.

"On the way, where's our ride?"

"Outside the school in five minutes."

"Got it." Kim spoke, looking at Ron talking to Mr. Barkin. The teacher nodded at Kim when she caught his attention.

"Come on, Ron. Mission. Now, gotta go!" Kim grabbed at Ron's arm and began dragging him out of the room.

Ron stammered, "What? Now…?"

"Yes. Now. Mission in Upperton. Let's get going." Kim answered sternly, still pulling Ron along behind her.

Ron responded after a second of processing the information, "Oh, okay."

Finding himself being pulled through the classroom door, Ron called out to the teacher, "Sorry Mr. B! We have to go on a mission." Ron explained.

Barkin nodded in understanding and smiled, seeing Ron a little closer to the kid he used to be as he and Kim headed out to save the world once again. The former military man was happy to see it, but would still have to talk with Stoppable about his recent behavior when he got back.

"Come on Ron, let's go!" Kim grumbled, finally pulling Ron fully out the door towards their waiting transport.

"I said I'm coming, KP! I can walk on my own, you know!"

Within the hour Kim, Ron, and Rufus were all settled in a jet soaring in the sky, heading directly for Upperton to complete their mission.

"Thanks for the ride Captain Mike." Kim said to the pilot.

"No need thank me, Miss Possible. I mean how could I say no after you saved my dog from that angry cat?"

"No biggie," she responded with a smile, "That's what I do. I like helping people - or animals - when they in trouble."

Wrapping up her conversation with the pilot, Kim sat back down in the passenger area to wait for Ron to come out the bathroom. He was changing into his new battle gear, something Wade had made him since Ron couldn't fit into his old stuff. Kim looked him over when he finally emerged, dressed in an all black battle suit that hugged his now lean and muscular form, and he was wearing a dark mask.

Kim found herself struggling not to blush. She looked away before addressing her friend.

"Nice new suit, Ron. Looks good. What's with the mask?" Kim questioned him.

"Wade said something about keeping my enemies guessing about who I am, since I've changed so much and they won't know me." Ron sat next to Kim in the passenger area, and pulled the mask down his face to rest below his chin.

The two locked gazes, but then quickly looked away and avoided further eye contact. Rufus had curled up on Kim's lap and was sound asleep, leaving the other two sitting in an uncomfortable silence. Finally, after what felt like ages, Ron couldn't stand the awkwardness anymore and spoke up.

"KP… Are you still mad at me?"

Still trying to avoid direct eye contact, Kim replied. "No. What makes you say that?"

Not knowing what else to do with his hands, Ron rubbed the back of his neck nervously.

After a moment, he spoke again, "Well, you seemed kinda snippy at me this morning and you-"

"I wasn't snippy!" Kim snapped, interrupting her friend. "It's just that you're not the same old Ron that I know. I don't the way you've been behaving lately. It's so not you."

"I said I was sorry, it's not like I changed on purpose. Besides, it's for the better," he argued.

"That's just it, Ron! How is it better? On top of everything else, you've been keeping secret from me too. And I thought we could tell each other anything."

Ron's expression was a mixture between confusion and frustration as he listened to his friend's words.

"I thought you'd like the new me at first. Kim, you always wanted me to grow up, right? And I want to make a good first impression, is that so wrong?"

Kim, thinking on it, knew where Ron was coming from and she knew that he was one hundred percent right on that part of it.

"Well, I think…" Kim started, but was cut off.

"Upperton Science Lab is directly below, Miss Possible." The captain's voice rang through the intercom.

"Come on Kim! Get your head in the game." Ron stood and put his black mask on, his parachute already resting on his back.

"Ron! Wait! Could we just talk before we hit our area?" Kim's request fell on deaf ears as Ron jumped out of the jet without another look back to his teammate.

Kim glared at Ron's falling form, who'd jumped off the plane while she was still trying to talk to him. She couldn't help but think that she didn't really understand him anymore.

"Is everything alright, Miss Possible?" The captain questioned the teen hero, glancing back at her from the pilot's seat.

"No big deal, it's just my friend being a little pig-headed."

Kim quickly rearranged Rufus so he sat in her pocket, and she zipped him up tight to make sure he fly out as she leapt from the plane. She jumped, and upon seeing her target approaching, pulled the chord that opened her parachute. She landed lightly on her feet and disengaged the fabric, letting it fall behind her.

The teen hero meet up with Ron, who's discarded parachute lay a few feet from hers on the rooftop. He had managed to be just as stealthy as she was, and was waiting, crouched low to avoid the eyes of their enemy.

Kim was about to speak to him when the kimmunicator went off.

"Go, Wade." Kim commanded, looking into the monitor.

"I did a complete analysis of the lab. Drakken and Shego are in the main room. I'll go ahead and map up the building and disable all the security that may cause you problems." Wade reported between quick sips of his juice.

"Please and thank you," Kim remarked, "But what are they up to?"

"Apparently, they are planning on stealing a diamond to fit their telescope; Drakken and his henchman already have it. They are only still in there because Drakken is waiting for Shego to meet them here to grab it and bring it back to his lair."

"Does he know we're coming?" Ron asked looking, over Kim's shoulder.

"Actually, I've already blocked out the camera. It seems Drakken doesn't know you're around. He won't know what hit him."

"I'm going in!" Ron declared bravely before anyone else could speak.

To both Wade and Kim's surprise, Ron with his newly found skills, charged into the lab before Kim had the chance to explain her plan. The sidekick was long gone, seeking out the enemy alone.

"Kim! What's got into Ron? This side of him is scary," Wade commented, concerned.

"I don't know, Wade. But we have to deal with Drakken right now, we can worry about Ron and his odd behavior later." She followed after Ron, coming across the enemy a few minutes later.

Drakken was in the lair, mocking Shego and holding up the diamond in his hand. Shego groaned at Drakken.

"Shego! The world will fall, no one will stop me! Who comes up with the plans? I do!" Dr. Drakken said defensively.

"Who fails every time?" Shego quipped, sitting down in a chair looking menacingly at the tied up workers below them.

"GRRRR! It doesn't matter, because this time will be different!" He laughed evilly.

"Whatever." Shego scoffed, rolling her eyes and picking up a magazine. Just then, a masked teen boy surprised Shego from the rooftops. He jumped over the henchman, kicking him in the stomach, causing the man to fall unconscious

Upon hearing the commotion, Kim herself kicked the doors open and shouted out to the enemy, "Drakken! You're getting another helping of failure!"

"KIM POSSIBLE!" Drakken shouted, angry that she was there to mess up his plans again.

"Oh wow, Kimmie showed up. Surprise, surprise... Didn't see that one coming." Shego said, her comment thick with sarcasm. She turned her attention to the boy who'd taken out their henchman.

"Kimmie! Where's the buffoon?" Shego asked, "Did you ditch him for a hottie to team up with on your missions now?" Shego laughed lightly.

Kim just grinned now, standing next to Ron in her mission gear.

"Hi Shego!" Ron took off his mask to revealed himself to Shego. The girl's mouth dropped open at the sight of Kim's clearly changed sidekick.

"Stoppable. Wow. You look..." Before Shego could say something else, Drakken broke his silence.

"Shego! Attack them!"

"Yeah, yeah. I know the drill." Shego sighed, then leapt from her chair and charged at Kim, her fists blazing green plasma.

Shego kicked at Kim furiously in an attempt to hit her with a single swing. Kim, fast on her feet, was able to keep her safe distance from the enemy's attacks, and land significant blows of her own in response.

Drakken's other henchman ran towards Ron. The sidekick jumped over the man, landing a punch to his nose. Blood poured out from the injury, dripping down the man's mouth.

"What happened to the buffoon?" The henchman questioned, wiping the blood from his face as he charged once again.

"The old me is gone, dude." Ron responded, throwing out a cruel and vicious kick the side of the man's leg, causing a brake in the bone. The henchman screamed in pain and didn't attempt to attack again as he fell to the floor, clutching his broken limb.

Kim looked over, at attention caught by the screams of pain, and she glared at Ron's dangerous expression. Beyond that, the broken bone was clearly intentional, and the action was way more violent than her partner had ever been in the past. The stunt he pulled concerned her. She pulled her attention back to her own battle when Shego threw another punch at her. They were trading blows again.

"Stoppable seems to have changed, Princess! Maybe now I should take him from you." Shego taunted the red headed hero.

Kim green eyes glared dangerously at her opponent, and she back flipped and aerial kicked Shego to the face. The blow sent her flying back.

"As if Ron would want you, Shego. Have you even looked in the mirror lately?"

Shego roared as she bounded back at Kim and the fight continued.

Kim readied herself for another blow, until just a meter away, Shego collapsed in exhaustion.

"Farewell Kim Possible, it seems that today and forever more I am the victor!" Drakken laughed evilly, holding the diamond in his hand. Kim caught a glimpse of Rufus as the mole rat ran up to Drakken and bit his arm harshly. The man released his grip on his prize at the pain, and the diamond fell towards the ground. Ron leapt forward and caught the diamond before it could even hit the ground.

"Boo-yah!" Ron announced victoriously as he waived the diamond in the air and put distance between himself and Drakken. "Check me out, KP!"

Ron stood proudly, turning to Drakken who had given up and was quietly trying to make his escape.

"Freeze Drakken," Ron said in a very confident voice. The man did as he said and looked back at him with disappointed look on his face. At that moment, Police guards busted in through the doors across the room, and held up their weapons pointed at the two criminals still uninjured. A few put their weapons away and headed to tend to the injured henchmen while the remaining officers arrested Shego and Drakken. Kim directed her attention to the still terrified workers, and began tying them.

"How is this possible? I was bested by a buffoon!" Drakken whined as he was loaded into the prison van outside the science lab.

"Drakken, did you watch Stoppable's performance? I said he's no longer a buffoon. Somehow it does seem to surprise me how far he's come." Shego said under her breath, winking at the sidekick.

"I won't even be locked up for a day! I'll get out! And when I do, I will have my revenge." Drakken replied.

"A Day? You're not gonna live long enough to see a week, Dr. Drakken…" Shego was silenced by the doors closing as the police car drove off.

Ron and Kim stood side by side in the aftermath of the day's events, waiting for their own transportation to arrive.

"So Ron… Tell me, how could you?" Kim asked, folding her arms and looking away from her best friend.

"How could I what?"

"What you did to that henchman? Ron, you broke his leg. On purpose, like you were trying to cause him unnecessary pain when you could have just knocked him out! He won't be able to walk for a long time!"

Ron shrugged. "The guy had it coming, KP. If I didn't stop him he'd be back it again and we wouldn't have been able to stop Drakken, so I thought that breaking his leg would work."

Shaking her head, Kim spoke to her friend in a disappointed tone, "Well, I can't believe I'm saying this, Ron, but starting right now you're off mission duty until you can get your head straight and your act together. The unnecessary violence you pulled today was so uncalled for and I'm not going to let it happen again."

"KP... don't do this. Don't you see I'm doing all this to keep you safe? I didn't do it just for fun!"

"No, you're right. You did it to complete the mission. But today I felt… scared. You snapped that guy's leg without a second thought, and honestly the new you is just scary."

Kim looked side to side nervously, almost like she was about to cry, and she held her arm over her midsection like it would protect her from her fear.

"I don't know what happened in Japan, but it changed you, Ron. Listen, if you promise me you'll get your act together, I'll lift your suspension."

Ron didn't said anything for a while, sitting there looking angry instead of talking. Kim waited for an answer, but got none. After several tense moments, Ron turned and walked away without saying anything further.

Both Kim and Rufus watched as Ron left them behind, jumping from rooftop to rooftop, seemingly headed home by himself instead of waiting for the transport. Rufus looked really upset by this, glancing sadly at Kim from her shoulder.

"This is for the best, Rufus." Kim comforted the creature, "He'll come around."

They could no longer see Ron, and after several more moments, they heard the unmistakable sound of the helicopter in the distance. It approached them and lowered to the ground in front of the teenaged girl and the mole rat.

"Come on Rufus, let's go home, Jim and Tim will be happy to see you." Kim said as she opened the hatch door. She went inside the helicopter and it flew them back to Middleton.

Stoppable House

Ron entered in his house by 9:00pm that evening. He closed the door and locking it behind him, putting his keys on a desk near the table with a heavy sigh. Kim had just basically kicked him off the team, saying he was too dangerous, and it really frustrated him. He took off his new mission shirt, revealing a muscled chest. He threw his shirt to the side and went into the kitchen, opening the refrigerator to get some juice. After taking his first sips, he noticed a note sticking to the door with one of several magnets on the fridge. He grabbed it and read to himself:

"Ronnie, we are going away on a cruise to celebrate our second honeymoon in Vegas. Everything you need to know is on the list. We will be gone for around four months. Take care of the plants in the garden for your mother.

P.S. look out for Kim when we are gone.

Ron ripped up the note angrily and threw it on the floor. His parents were always leaving him for some reason or another.

His thoughts were cut short as a sexy girl in a pink robe appeared from down the hallway. She approached him without hesitation, and he felt her shoving him against the wall roughly before she mashed her lips against his.

'Wha...' his head stopped working for a second, the feel of her lips on his knocking all the thoughts out of his head. She was an amazing kisser, but he'd been completely shocked by the suddenness of her approach. After a moment he allowed himself to sink into the kiss.

She wrapped her hands around his neck and pulled him closer to her body, her robe open a little showing a frilly white bra.

She finally ended the kiss as she smiled into a her boyfriend's stunned face.

"Well, looks like someone isn't happy to see me after the text I send to you in class earlier! I was really needing some Ronshine." The brunette cheerleader could feel his hands rise up and rest against her as he wrapped his arms around her waist.

"Hi, Bon-Bon." he greeted tiredly.

"What's wrong, Ronnie?" Bonnie started to kiss his neck when he didn't answer immediately. Ron's hands tightened around his girlfriend's waist.

"It's nothing."

"Did you and Kim have another fight?" Bonnie questioned, pulling away from the kisses she was planting on his neck and looking him in the eyes.

"Let's just forget about KP for now, and focus on getting you some Ronshine." Ron smiled slightly and picked up the cheerleader, who's robe had already fallen to the floor. Her arms wrapped around her boyfriend's shoulders tightly so she wouldn't fall as he carried her. The boy walked up the stairs and opening the door before setting the the brunette down. He closed the door shut behind them.

Moments later, all that could be heard from the room was shouting from Bonnie, "OH RON!"

Author Notes yes I'm rewriting this story over and still copy the few chapters but I had more chapters in my save computer that I didn't use on my last story I made it like Spiderman and you didn't like it and made Ron cheat on Bonnie with Monique but I will not do that and keep Ron and Bonnie, and make my storytelling and not have to much sex stuff.
