A glamorous young woman with golden eyes and hair styled like Sailor Moon's sat in the office of her unique shop. Her name was Xiaoying, and she was the proprietor of this remarkable enterprise. Her building was a cross between a restaurant and a fashion boutique, for Xiaoying was a master of cuisine and fashion design. Therefore, she'd combined her two greatest passions into one.

Several local teenagers assisted at Xiaoying's Fashion Cafe. Her goddaughter Akiko and her best friend Katara occasionally helped out. Her goddaughter and her best friend split their workdays between the shop and working at a daycare center. Xiaoying knew both girls put both paychecks into their savings accounts.

After all, it's better to save money then spend it needlessly. So take care of your necessities before your desires. However, she did make sure to pay all her employees more then minimum wage. There was a knock on the door, and she looked up into her goddaughter's jade green eyes. "Yes, Akiko?" Xiaoying asked politely.

"Everyone else has gone home for the day. It's only me and Katara left. I wanted to confirm you're taking us home. If not, I can contact Zuko's grandmother Kimana to come to pick us up. Since she'll take Zuko and his friends home from his grandpa Iroh's tea shop."

"Don't you two worry. I only require twenty more minutes to finalize updating the books. Then I'll take you two home. How is my godson anyway? I've been too busy lately to check in on him."

"Zuky is doing just fine, Xiaoying. I know he's depleted from pulling extra shifts at the Jasmine Dragon because his father, Lu Ten, just got out of the hospital for a lung abscess."

"Thank Agni. Lu Ten is alright. Everyone was praying nonstop for him," Xiaoying replied. Her goddaughter nodded in agreement. "I know, it would have been terrible if my darling Zuko lost his father. So anyway, I also wanted to confirm the shop will be closed for the following week?"

"Yes, I'm taking a week-long vacation. I've worked myself to the bone and need a week off."

"Okay, I'll tell Katara we'll leave in twenty minutes. We'll enjoy some smoothies while waiting."

"Sounds lovely. Don't fret, Akiko. I'll be out soon." to which her sixteen-year-old goddaughter nodded. Xiaoying quickly completed updating the books before locking up her office. She retrieved the girls before taking them home. When she returned to her mansion, she found her husband Piandao waiting for her.

They kissed each other passionately before he helped her out of her coat. "Long day, sweetheart?" he asked as she smiled wearily at him. "Terribly long, I'm afraid.

I'm looking forward to my week off. How is Xiang doing?" referring to their young daughter.

"Last I checked, she was busy doing her mathematics homework. She's got a big test on Friday."

"She's currently studying multiplying and division, correct?" Her husband nodded. "Well, I hope you go over her homework with her. Right now, I need to soak in the Jacuzzi. I'm way overdue for some downtime."

"I already have the Jacuzzi set up for you. Plus, I've already made dinner for you. So go take your hot bath, and I'll check up on our daughter, okay?"

"Thanks, Piandao, you're the best," as they kissed. Then she headed straight to the bathroom to unwind. As her husband promised, it was all ready. He'd even had Alexa play the soothing sounds of nature to ensure she was relaxed. She quickly settled into the tub and breathed a sigh of ecstasy as she began to unwind.

Her husband also did a marvelous job with the meal he'd prepared for her. She once again thanked Agni for blessing her with this remarkable man. Moreover, their adorable little girl.

The following morning her daughter had prepared her breakfast in bed. After she finished the delightful meal, she gathered a few things. Then, she informed her husband she was going to the park.

He told her to enjoy herself. He promised the house to be immaculate by the time she returned. She kissed and hugged both of them before heading to the regional park. It was a gorgeous day—clear skies, a nice breeze, and not overly hot. Locating a nice bench under a shady tree, the woman began listening to an audiobook.

The audiobook concluded an hour before lunch. Fishing for her phone, she called her best friends Ursa and Sakiko if they wanted to meet up for lunch. They agreed and said they see her at the lovely outdoor restaurant area in the northern section of the park. Again, it had excellent food and a gorgeous view of everything. Fortunately, her best friends were already waiting by the time she arrived.

They spent an hour and a half together having girl time. Chitchatting about everyday things and made plans to see a movie together that Saturday. Eventually, they parted ways. When Xiaoying did return home, she found her house was indeed squeaky-clean. She didn't even need to wonder if the rest of her week off be as perfect as today. Because without a doubt it would be!
