A/N: Hello! Hope you have been enjoying this story. Like I said last chapter I have been posting as I write so if you see mistakes I apologize but I am only human. Enjoy!
Disclaimer: I do not own Spider-Man or Marvel this is for fun!
"Peter," Norman welcomed, offering him a hand shake.
Pete took his hand as Norman patted his shoulder with his free hand.
"You look good son," Norman continued, "We saw your Aunt yesterday at the hospital."
"Thank you Mr. Osborn. Yeah, she still works there," Peter told him.
"Now Peter I told you Norman is just fine," Norman reprimanded, "Come now boys let's get going."
The three piled into the back of his limo. Norman gave a small glance into Stark Towers making eye contact with Tony for a split second before smiling and getting into the back of the car.
"So Peter, you work for Tony Stark?" Norman asked as they drove to Oscorp.
"Kind of, I only have an internship currently," Peter explained.
"I see, well it's his loss he hasn't fully hired you yet son," Norman told him.
"That's what I said," Harry added, "If he were smart he would have snatched you up years ago. You've always been super smart Pete."
"Exactly, if he doesn't snatch you up I may have to," Norman told him with a small smile.
"Oh gosh Mr. Os- Norman, I don't know if I could. Mr. Stark has been really great with May and I," Peter told them, "He has even set me up with a room there if I need to work on projects late."
"Well you think about it Peter," Norman told him, "You're like a second son to me Peter. Harry sees you as a brother as well so whatever you need you can come to me anytime."
"Thank you Sir," Peter told him, "Harry has always been a brother in my eyes. Even if we haven't talked in a long while. I mean just seeing you both again feels like no time has passed. Almost like we picked up right where we left off."
Norman gave a chuckle and Harry smiled at the admission.
"Same old Peter," Harry stated as he went to look out the window.
Back at Stark Tower Tony was slightly fuming in the lobby.
"Norman Osborn? You mean to say Peter is with that conniving jerk? That's who he is hanging out with?' Tony spat, "Did you two know?"
"No, I had no idea," Happy answered.
"He never said," Pepper told him.
"That's it I'm calling Peter. He does not need to be hanging out with people like him," Tony pulled out his phone.
"Tony just wait a moment," Pepper encouraged.
"Pepper, you know that man. He is manipulative and always has another agenda," Tony told her.
"I do know, I've had many debates with him," Pepper answered, "But if Harry is Peter's friend then it's not our choice who he gets to hang out with. You may not like it but we are not his parents Tony."
Tony cleared his throat, "Yes, you're right."
"If Osborn does anything to that kid I'll be pressing charges," Tony continued after a moment.
"If that happens then I'll be with you one hundred percent, but for now. You go tinker with your dohickeys Mr. Stark," Pepper told him, giving him a smile.
"I hate when you're right," Tony said, giving her a kiss.
"You both know I am right here right?" Happy told them, throwing his hands up.
"Did you hear something?" Tony asked Pepper.
"No, it must be the wind," Pepper gave Tony another kiss.
"You two are impossible," Happy told them.
Pulling up to Oscorp Peter peered out the window and gave an audible gasp.
"You like it? It's the newest tower for Oscorp Industries," Norman informed him, looking up at the tall glass building. The tinted windows gave off a dark green sheen from the sun.
"It's amazing," Peter told him as they started to walk into the building.
"Dad said that he has a meeting in about 30 minutes so that's why we came early. He wanted to be able to tour the building beforehand," Harry told him while Norman checked them into security.
"Oh that's okay I am just happy to see you again Harry," Pete admitted, "So do you work with your dad now then?"
"Yeah, I started last year. Dad has me learning all the different aspects of the company still," Harry told him.
"That's awesome Harry. I think I started with Mr. Stark around the same time," Pete replied, as Norman came back to them.
"Here boys," Norman said, handing them the security badges, " We don't have as much time to tour the building as I thought so let me show you our main lab and the genetic breakthroughs we have been working on as well as the technology test room."
"Technology test room?" Peter asked.
"You'll see, it's the place where all the technology we create is tested," Harry explained, "You don't have a test room at Stark industries?"
"Not really, we create the item on a virtual plane running the product through system to make sure that the proposed technology would be feasible before the product goes into creation," Peter explained, " That way it's safer for all involved in case the technology isn't pliable."
"I see, that is very interesting, so when it is put into creation the item isn't tested after that at all?" Norman asked.
"Not that I'm aware of. We don't test at the tower at least," Peter started to feel like he was not supposed to speak about this subject.
"Don't worry Peter, we will drop the subject. Let me show you what we do. Maybe that will sway you to work here with Harry," Norman told him confidently.
The tour was very impressive. Each lab they went into the workers stopped to greet Peter like he was a celebrity, even though he felt like he was just a no one here at Oscorp. Some even came up and shook his hand along with Harry's. Norman of course went and looked over a few projects that they had been working on, calling Peter over to look at a few to see what he thought. Peter had pointed out a few flaws in one schematic getting him even more recognition making him feel like he was getting unnecessary praise.
"Very impressive Parker" Norman Praised.
"Maybe you should work here, Parker. You'd fit right in here," Harry commented.
"It was just a small mistake in their math. I'm sure they would have caught it if they relooked over their work," Peter dismissed, turning another shade of pink.
"Either way good job buddy," Harry patted him on the shoulder.
"Unfortunately I won't be able to take you around much more," Norman told them looking at his watch, "My meeting is about to start."
"That's okay dad I'll show Pete my office," Harry suggested.
"Of course. Enjoy the building Peter. I'll meet up with you two after my meeting," Norman told them while taking his leave.
" Have a good meeting dad," Harry called back.
"This place really is impressive Harry. I'm happy for you," Peter told him.
"Thanks dad said he was going to prepare me for when I have to one day take over the company," Harry admitted.
"You'll do amazing Harry," Pete encouraged as they walked down the corridor.
Out of nowhere his spider sense started to go off making him turn behind him. His enhanced hearing kicked in as he heard Norman yell out.
"Hey Pete, what's wrong? Why'd you stop so suddenly?" Harry asked, trying to look where Peter was looking.
"Harry, I think I heard your dad scream just now," Peter said urgently.
"What? Are you sure," Harry asked as they already started towards the direction Pete had heard the yell from.
"I'm positive," Peter told him. Secretly he was hoping he was wrong but he didn't want to risk it, especially with his spider sense going off.
As the two ran back down the corridor more sounds of a struggle could be heard as they approached. One of the labs had started to fill with green gas and Norman could be seen struggling against another man in a lab coat who seemed to have a syringe he was trying to attack Norman with.
"Dad!" Harry screamed, as he started to type in the passcode into the security door as fast as he could.
"We're coming Mr. Osborn!" Peter yelled, waiting as patiently as he could while Harry worked through the security door.
The door finally swung open as the man injected Norman with the syringe.
"Get away from him!" Harry yelled, they came into the lab area but they still had one more door to get to Norman as he was in a contained glass room with his assailant.
"Harry, wait!" Peter yelled, stopping him from opening the last door.
"Peter, that's my dad!" Harry argued.
"I know but we need some sort of mask to keep that gas from getting into our lungs or we may be no help to him," Peter quickly relayed as they both looked around.
Finally Harry spotted some masks on the far wall. He grabbed them and threw one to Peter. They saw that the man who had been in the room with Norman was nowhere to be found now.
Harry quickly typed in the code and opened the last door; they both quickly grabbed Norman and dragged him into the main room. Peter closed the door behind them as Harry tried to wake his father up. They ripped their masks off and started checking over Norman.
"Dad! Dad, can you hear me?" Harry was panicking, trying to shake his dad awake.
"Harry, listen to me, we have to get a doctor. Do you have a facility here?" Peter asked, suddenly feeling dizzy as his spider sense kept going off.
Looking over at Harry noticing he was trying to stay conscious as well.
"Pete," Harry said weakly, "The gas is coming from under the door."
"Shit" Peter thought as Harry slumped over into unconsciousness.
"I don't have much time," Peter thought as he started to drag Harry outside the lab then coming back to get Norman.
"Karen call Mr. Stark," Peter breathed out, closing the door to the lab and hitting the outside alarm and falling to his knees.
"Peter?" Tony answered, "You didn't say you were friends wit-"
"Mr. Stark," Peter was losing his battle with staying awake, "I need help."
"Peter, where are you? What's happening?" Tony was immediately alarmed with the state that Peter sounded.
"Oscorp. Lab. 2nd floor" was all Peter got out before he fell into blackness.
"Pete? Peter!" Tony yelled into the phone.
