A/N: Hey all, I will try to post when I can this week as I work Monday-Friday, but I hope you enjoy!

Disclaimer: I do not own Marvel or Spider-Man. This is for fun!

The next morning, Peter awoke to the sun shining in his bedroom window. He had forgotten to close the curtains the night before due to all that had happened. Outside the room he could hear the clink of May in the kitchen and the murmured voice of the television.

Deciding he wasn't about to get anymore sleep, Peter got up and went to the bathroom. He felt much better as his ankle was no longer hurting. The only thing was the cut on his bicep was still healing but it wasn't as bad as the night before.

Walking into the living room May perked up and smiled at him.

"There's my little hero," May greeted, as she was flipping some bacon.

"Hero? No, not me? What do you mean?" Peter stammered, fearing she had found out his secret.

"I saw it on the news last night. They're running a story that you saved Norman and Harry Osborn's life," May told him, pointing at the television.

"Oh, that. Yeah I guess so. I didn't do much," Peter downplayed.

"Your Uncle Ben would be so proud," May told him, walking over to give him a kiss.

"Thanks May," Peter said, "Hey, I just remembered I invited Harry and Mr. Osborn over for dinner tonight."

"Oh Perfect, I'll make some Italian dishes," May told him, "I have been wanting to use that cookbook you got me."

"That sounds great," Peter smiled.

"Are you going to work at Stark Tower today?" May asked.

"I'm not sure," Peter told her, "I do have some stuff I need to work on."

"But?" May prompt.

"But, he and I got into a bit of a disagreement," Peter told her.

"Can I ask what about?" May pushed.

"About the Osbournes actually. He and Mr. Osborn are rivals and he doesn't really like Mr. Osborn," Peter told her as she set a plate in front of him.

"I wouldn't take it to heart Peter," May advised, "Not everyone you know will like each other and that's just a fact of life."

"Thanks May," Peter told her, digesting what she had just said, as the television was running another story about the damage the Goblin caused last night.

"Many witnesses claimed they heard explosions," The news anchor stated.

"Yeah I took one of those explosions to the face," Peter thought.

"Peter at least call Happy and see about going in. It'll do you good to clear the air," May told him as she grabbed her keys.

"I will May," Peter agreed, "What time should I be back to help make dinner?"

"How about," She paused at the door for a moment, "4PM?"

"I'll be here," Peter told her.

"Have a good day Peter," May called back as she left their apartment.

Peter finished his eggs and bacon May had set in front of him, battling if he should in fact call Happy. After a moment of debating he picked up his phone and dialed his number.

"Hey Pete," Happy's voice answered.

"Hi Happy, I was wondering if you could pick me up?" Peter asked, "I mean if you are free. I mean I have to be back here to help May with dinner at 4pm. Actually that's a lot I should-"

"Peter, you're rambling," Happy interrupted with a small chuckle, "I'll be there soon."

"Thank you, Happy," Peter told him.

"Anytime kid," Happy told him, disconnecting the call.

It felt like an eternity before Happy arrived. Peter had put on a long sleeve dress shirt and rolled them up to quarter sleeves to help cover his bandaged arm. He was still feeling slight exhaustion as he had nightmares last night that didn't let him get the best rest. The Goblin's yellow eyes kept popping up in his sleep.

A knock on the door told him that Happy had arrived.

"Hey Kid," Happy greeted.

"Hey Happy," Peter returned, getting in the car as Happy held the door for him.

After a few minutes of awkward silence and Happy glance at Peter in the rearview mirror Happy cleared his throat.

"So, you and Tony got into a fight?" Happy asked.

"I wouldn't call it a fight," Peter said vaguely, as he looked out the window.

"What would you call it?" Happy tried pushing.

"A disagreement of sorts," Peter said after a moment, "It'll be fine."

"I'm sure it will," Happy agreed. Happy felt bad for the kid, Tony was often hard headed and said things without thinking about others. Tony was also not good at apologizing.

"Wow, what happened here?" Happy asked as they drove around the blocked off area where Peter had fought the Goblin.

Peter had tried to stay quiet but Happy took the hint after seeing his nervous shuffle.

"Peter? You know something about this?" Happy half questioned.

"I may have stumbled upon it," Peter told him.

"Peter," Happy warned, seeing the more damage as they drove. Happy began to be surprised that Peter wasn't hurt.

"Are you hurt?" Happy asked, whipping around, worry dripping out of him now.

"I'm okay," Peter told him in a small voice.

"Good, " Happy said obviously in thought. By the look on his face, Peter could tell that Happy was trying to put together what had happened on his own.

"You're sure you aren't hurt?" Happy asked again suddenly.

"I promise I'm okay," Peter affirmed.

Peter was regretting the decision to go to Stark tower now. He thought today was going to be better than yesterday but it was starting to feel like he was wrong.

Pulling up to the building Peter let out a sigh, catching Happy's attention.

"Don't worry kid, he's not here right now," Happy informed him.

"Tony's gone?" Peter asked.

"Yep. He's been in a press conference since this morning then he was going to the Avengers campus," Happy told him as they walked in.

A small pinch of jealousy wormed its way into Peter's chest.

"Oh, when is he supposed to be back?" Peter asked.

"Well he probably won't be back till this evening is my guess," Happy said.

"Is Ms. Potts here?" Peter added to his question.

"No, she's also at the press conference and then going with Tony to the Campus," Happy told him as they stopped outside the elevators.

"Great still left out," Peter thought, sadly.

"Thanks Happy," Peter said, then getting to take the elevator up to his work bench.

It was strange coming up and finding the tower almost completely empty. Each time Peter had been here at least Pepper or Bruce were nearby.

Peter grabbed out his web fluid and started working. A few hours went by only known to him by how his stomach growled. He picked his phone out of his pocket and found a message from Harry.

"Hey Pete! Can't wait for dinner tonight. Did you have something you wanted us to bring?" Harry's message read.

"Hey Harry, sorry I just saw this. May is going to make some Italian dishes if you want to bring some bread or salad?" Peter messaged back

"Will do! What are you up to today?" Harry replied, making Peter sigh. Pete wasn't sure if he wanted to be here currently. He was feeling left out and down on himself after he got his butt kicked by the Goblin and Tony and literally everyone else being busy.

"I just finished up a project at Stark Industries." Peter wrote back hoping Harry was wanting to hang out.

"Wow, you get attacked and Tony Stark wants you to come into work?" Harry wrote back.

"Do you want us to come rescue you?" Harry wrote back, making Peter smile.

"Sure!" Peter sent back.

"I mean only if you guys are okay with that," Peter added as well.

"On our way! See you in 15 minutes," Harry wrote back.

"Thanks Harry," Peter sent.

Peter grabbed his now finished web fluid and put it in his backpack. Putting the rest of his equipment away he had completely forgotten about grabbing some lunch and decided he would go down and meet Harry.

It wasn't till he got into the elevator did he feel bad for wanting to leave. He knew Happy would understand but he still felt bad. After getting off the elevator he saw Happy look up from the security camera area.

"Hey Kid, what's wrong?" Happy asked, looking at his watch.

"Hey Happy. Nothing's wrong I just finished my wed fluid and I think I'm going to head out," Peter got quiet as he said the last part.

"Oh, that's no problem. I'll go get the car," Happy said standing up.

"That's okay, I have a ride," Peter told him, hoping he wouldn't ask with whom.

"You have a ride?" Happy asked, " With who?"

As soon as he asked Harry came strutting in smiling.

"Hey Pete!" He yelled approaching the pair.

"Oh hello um-" Harry paused trying to remember his name.

"Happy," Replied Happy, cutting off Harry.

"That's right," Harry said, "You're the driver right?"

"Head of security," Happy told him, sounding defensive.

"Ah, yes," Harry commented, completely ignoring how annoyed Happy sounded.

Happy glanced at Peter who looked guilty and was avoiding his eyes. Peter just felt awkward he was stuck between the two.

"So Pete," Harry cut the tension, " Dad and I were just heading to lunch. Have you eaten?"

Peter's stomach rumbled, answering Harry's question for them.

"Well please let us treat you for lunch," Harry laughed, "It's the least we can do after yesterday. Plus we need to grab something to bring for dinner with May."

"Harry-"

"No buts! Let's go Parker," Harry grabbed Peter by the arm and started to drag him out the front.

"I'll talk to you later, Happy!" Peter yelled before exiting.

"Tony is going to kill Norman," Happy whispered to himself.

Right before their car had left, Tony's car pulled up behind them.

"Oh crap," Happy said as The Oscorp car pulled away and Tony walked in followed by Pepper.

"Happy!" Tony roared.

A/N:Tony is not going to be happy about that! Will Harry convince Peter to leave Stark Industries? Will Tony get the hint before it's too late?
