"I still can't believe it," Roman laughed happily. "It's a fucking miracle."

Seth spun around in his living room and did a few dance moves that had Roman laugh even louder. After Duvessa had left yesterday, Seth had walked straight out to the nurses. Everyone had stared in wonder. He had been checked over and everything had healed magically. He was sent home this morning, and his first phone call went to Roman who was now visiting him.

"How the hell is that even possible?" Roman asked.
"You wouldn't believe me if I told you," Seth said.
"Try me," Roman said.
"Let's just say a fairy came into my room and poured magic dust over me," Seth said.

Roman started laughing again. The idea of Tinkerbell flying over Seth's head to drop some fairy dust on him was a fun image to have. Still, Roman wasn't stupid. He was well aware this wasn't normal. Something had happened. Something out of this world.

"Did an angel stop by?" Roman asked.
"More in the other direction, I think," Seth said.

"Seth," Roman suddenly looked scared. "Did you make a deal with the devil?"
"I don't think there's such a thing as angels and demons. The devil doesn't exist. She called herself wishmaster," Seth said.
"Wishmaster?" Roman asked.
"She said her name was Duvessa. I tried googling but I can't find anything about her. All I know is that she wasn't human and she healed by back just by looking at me. It was a crazy experience but look at me, Roman. Fucking look at me. I'm myself again. I'm so happy," Seth said.
"I'm happy too," Roman said.

Roman pulled Seth into his arms and gave him a brotherly hug.

"If she just healed you out of her good heart, I'm gonna pretend she was an angel. You might not believe in them but I do," Roman said.

Seth just smiled and nodded. He didn't want to tell Roman that he owed some sort of payment to the wishmaster who stopped by. Roman would lose his mind over it. It was best not to worry his older brother with it. Unfortunately Seth had no poker face when it came to Roman. Roman's smile dropped and he looked worried.

"What is it?" Roman asked.
"Nothing," Seth lied.
"Tell me!" Roman demanded.
"I have to pay her later," Seth said.
"Pay her what?" Roman asked.
"I don't know," Seth answered.

Seth sighed and walked over to look out of the window.

"Seth," Roman said.
"I don't know, Roman. A part of me is scared and another part is like, fuck it. I'm walking. Whatever she wants, she can have. I doubt she'll collect any body parts from me," Seth said.
"That's not fucking funny!" Roman raised his voice.
"I know!" Seth's raised his voice too.

Seth turned around and looked at Roman. He understood Roman's worries. He had the same worries. He just couldn't let it tear him apart inside. One day Duvessa would be back, and he would pay whatever she wanted.

"So you did make a deal with the devil," Roman said.
"She's not a fucking devil," Seth said. "She's a..."
"Wishmaster?" Roman raised his eyebrows. "Whatever she is, she's nothing good if she wants some sort of payment for healing you."
"Maybe she wants me to pay it forward one day. Like donate a kidney to someone or something like that," Seth said.
"I sure hope so," Roman said.

Roman walked over to Seth and placed his hands on his little brother's shoulders.

"So donate a fucking kidney or some blood or whatever she needs to heal someone else. If that's the case, then she's an angel," Roman said. "If not..."

Roman left the sentence hanging over and Seth nodded. There was no need to say it out loud. They both knew what it meant.

"Did you sign a paper with your blood?" Roman asked.
"I didn't sign anything with blood or a pen," Seth said.
"Good," Roman blew out his breath. "Not the devil then. The devil always makes you sign a deal with your blood."
"What is she then?" Seth asked.
"How the hell should I know? You're the one who met her," Roman smirked. "Was she hot?"
"So hot," Seth smirked too.

They both started laughing again. Whoever or whatever this Duvessa was, she had healed Seth and given him another chance of living his life the way he wanted to. For that, they were both grateful.
