Author's Notes: Hi, readers. Here's chapter two of "From Nowhere to Anywhere." I can't believe I got six reviews for chapter one. I didn't think that would happen, but I'm happy it did. I want to thank everyone who reviewed. As for other readers, don't hesitate to review. I'd love to hear your ideas for this fic. Anyway, this chapter features the first Tommy/Kim interaction. It is not pleasant to say the least. The villains are introduced, as are Bulk, Skull, and Ernie. Stay tuned for chapter three.

Chapter 2: Victory Perk/Confrontation/Discuss
At the Lunar Palace, the villains were in the midst of a victory party. Rita, Goldar, Scorpina, Squatt, Baboo, and Finster were gathered around a table in the middle of the throne room. Five glasses filled with oyster and cranberry juice were in front of Goldar, Scorpina, Squatt, Baboo, and Finster. She was pouring it into her glass from a bottle. She laid it down once she was finished. Everyone picked up his or her glasses.
"To the destruction of Megazord!" Goldar said with great joy.
"And total domination of Earth!" Rita added.
All six villains toasted their glasses while sharing an evil laugh. Goldar, Scorpina, Squatt, Baboo, and Finster took sips of their juices. They nodded in approval.
"I love cranberry and oyster juice," Baboo said and whooped loudly.
"Me too!" Squatt squeaked and took another sip. "There is nothing better than that! Nope, nope, nope!"
Finster chuckled. "You really like saying nope, don't you, Squatt?"
"I do," Squatt admitted.
"Now, the end is near!" Rita squealed and sipped some of her juice.
"Yep. After today," Scorpina said with a big smile on her face.
"It was all possible because of our great empress Rita," Goldar growled with much ferocity.
Scorpina giggled. "Yes."
"But my brilliant plan continues," Rita pointed out as she and the others laid their glasses down. "I have decided to give Tommy the Dragon Dagger and access to the Dragonzord."
"Are you sure that is a good idea, Rita?" Baboo wondered in much uncertainty.
"The Dragonzord has been out of commission for ten thousand years," Squatt added, holding up a finger. "It may not work well at all."
Goldar became angry. "Shut up, you fools! If Rita wants Tommy to call forth the Dragonzord, then it shall be done!"
"Thank you, Goldar," Rita responded. "However, I have decided to wait a while to give him the Dragon Dagger. He is reading in his room. I will go tell him about giving him something later on right now. I will ask him to go to the Youth Center for a little bit. He needs to relieve tension."
"That is a good idea, my queen," Scorpina agreed.
Rita held up a finger. "I will be back in a minute. Don't touch any of the food."
Rita walked away while singing nonsense. Squatt and Baboo looked at each other with raised eye ridges.
"She does have a good singing voice," Squatt complimented.
"She sure does," Baboo agreed. He frowned a bit. "Unfortunately, she tried to sing Whitney Houston's I Will Always Love You two months ago. She did a terrible job of it."
Squatt groaned in much annoyance. "No shit, Sherlock. My ears were hurting from that!"
"Mine too," Baboo murmured.
"Don't forget me," Finster chimed and rubbed his ear. "I can still hear her screeching that song."
"Who is Whitney Houston?" Scorpina asked in much confusion.
Goldar held up his hand with a soft growl. "Whitney Houston is a very popular singer on Earth, Scorpina. She is very well known for hitting high notes. Humans call her The Voice."
Scorpina raised her eyebrows. "That's interesting."
"Enough about that singer. Let's talk about what we will do to the people of Earth once Rita has control of it," Goldar suggested and rubbed his hands together.
"Great idea, Goldar!" Squatt yelled happily.
"Yeah!" Baboo commented with a laugh. He and his comrades proceeded to talk about their plans for humanity.

The Youth Center was quiet thirty minutes later. Bulk, Skull, Ernie, and five other people were gathered at the Juice Bar. They were watching the news of the latest monster attack. Bulk and Skull sat in the first and second stools. Ernie had his head propped up by his elbow on the counter. The group saw Rita's face on the TV. It switched over to Goldar's wandering between buildings.
"Look at the size of that guy!" a teen boy said.
"What is he doing?" a young woman asked with much curiosity.
The entire group watched Goldar shoot fire out of his eyes as he moved in a circle. He reduced buildings to rubble and set vehicles on fire. Ernie tensed up, as did the young people. Bulk and Skull clicked their tongues.
"Oh, no!" a young man cried in fear.
Ernie pressed his lips together. Approaching footsteps diverted his attention. He caught sight of Kim coming his way in the corner of his eye. She stopped before him and laid her hands on the counter.
"Hey, Ernie," Kim said softly.
"Can you believe this is happening?" Ernie asked, pointing his finger at the TV. He emitted a loud sigh.
"I know," Kim answered as she gazed at it. She frowned and sighed heavily. "It's absolutely terrible."
"Thank God for the Power Rangers," Ernie said very warmly. "They are always there when we need them."
"Yeah," Kim agreed and turned back to him. "I can't help but admire them for the bravery in fighting the forces of evil."
"Me too," Ernie replied with a small chuckle. "I wish I could say thank you to them for protecting the innocent from harm."
"Hey!" Bulk yelled rudely.
Ernie and Kim cringed and looked at the bullies. He put his arm down and tapped his fingers on the counter.
"You should be thanking us," Bulk insisted.
"Yeah, us!" Skull said as he motioned toward himself and his best friend.
Kim scoffed. "Oh, really?"
"I've got to hear this," Ernie said with a shake of his head.
"We're the ones that helped the Power Rangers scare off the big, ugly gold guy," Bulk said smugly.
"Right," Kim retorted sarcastically.
Skull snorted. "Yeah, right! We're the ones that should be on TV."
"Yeah," Bulk agreed and formed a big smile on his face. He imagined himself and his sidekick being on TV. "We'd look great on TV."
"Oh, dream on, Bulk!" Kim yelled irritatingly. "The only way you two could be on TV is if you went on a show that paid people to make fools of themselves!"
Ernie smirked. "She's right. Celebrities like Michael Keaton, Halle Berry, Samuel L. Jackson, Celine Dion, Peabo Bryson, and countless others are famous because they are talented at their craft. You two don't have any talent that would make you famous."
Bulk stopped smiling and let out a loud huff. He leaned back while scratching his neck. Skull munched on a pretzel as his best friend looked at his milkshake. Ernie and Kim turned back to each other. They raised their eyebrows.
"Ernie, have you seen Tommy?" Kimberly asked and bit her lip.
"The new kid, right?" Ernie asked.
Kim nodded at him. "Yes. I've been looking for him, but I haven't been able to find him."
Ernie gestured over her shoulder. "He's over there."
Kim turned to see Tommy on a peck deck machine. She shifted her attention back to Ernie, who ran his hand over his hair. He turned the volume down on the TV.
"Thanks," Kim said gratefully.
"No problem," Ernie answered, warmth echoing from his voice. "I will do anything for a friend."
Kim yawned. "So will I."
Kim made her way over to Tommy, who didn't notice her. She stopped a short distance from him. He pushed the bar forward. He took three deep breaths and pulled it back.
"Tommy," Kim whispered and pressed her lips together. "Tommy, I know."
Kim moved closer, though Tommy didn't move an inch. She began to feel a little nervous. Her heart started beating a little faster.
"I know you're the Green Ranger," Kim whispered firmly.
"Well, Pink Ranger, you should also know that you and the other Power Rangers will soon be destroyed," Tommy retorted, looking at her.
Kim showed much shock. She hadn't expected the boy to know who she and her friends were. She had no doubt Rita told him about who each Ranger was and what color he or she represented.
"Let us help you," Kim begged. "We can break Rita's spell."
"Rita is my empress. I serve her willingly," Tommy said, getting up. "She will soon rule the world."
She gulped quietly. "Tommy, please let us help you. Please."
He narrowed his eyes at her as green flashed in them. "You have been warned."
Tommy walked past her and out the exit quickly. Kim stared after him while breathing heavily. She looked away while pressing her lips together. Snickering caught her attention. She looked at Bulk and Skull, who were standing a short distance away from her.
"It looks like the new kid doesn't have time for a geek like you," Bulk sneered.
"You need to keep your nose out of other people's business," Kim retorted bluntly.
"No way," Bulk said, shaking his head rapidly.
"Yeah! By the way, how about you and I catch a movie tomorrow afternoon?" Skull asked and wiggled his eyebrows. "We have Friday off from school due to in-service. The same goes for Monday because of parent-teacher conferences."
"I'd rather kiss a frog than go on a date with you, butthead," Kim responded and made a disgusted face.
"Who are you calling a butthead, butthead?" Skull said and laughed raucously.
"Shut up," Bulk whispered in annoyance.
"You should also shut up, Bulk," Kim commented truthfully. "Your mouth is so big that a truck can fit through it. The same can said for Skull's mouth."
Kim walked past the bullies and out of the main room. She headed for the front door. She stopped in the parking lot and scratched her neck. She stretched her arms above her head before letting out a long yawn. She knew she would be sleeping well tonight. She felt lucky her parents, Daryl and Caroline, were in Los Angeles for a two-week vacation that started just yesterday. She had all the privacy in the world.
Unbeknownst to Kim, Tommy peered out from behind the tree that was next to the entrance. He watched her closely. He felt his heartrate speed up quite a bit. He had a bit of desire for her. In fact, he developed it the second he met her. Despite being under a spell, he had fantasized about being sexually intimate with her.
Tommy observed Kim going toward the sidewalk. He wanted to claim her, but he needed to find out where she lived first. He decided he would use the Repulsascope to find the location of her house. He was already heading to the Lunar Palace because Rita told him she wanted to give him something before he left. He wondered what it was. He wasn't about to annoy her with a bunch of questions. He wanted to spend time with Goldar and Scorpina first.
Tommy shook his thoughts out of his head and cleared his throat. He needed to get to the palace before Rita summoned him out of impatience. He headed to the back of the Youth Center. He looked both ways. He was glad the coast was clear. He looked ahead and teleported to the Lunar Palace in a flash of green-and-yellow fire.

A northern mockingbird sat on the Cranston residence's roof twenty-five minutes later. It ran its beak through its chest feathers before shaking its head. It spread its wings and flew downward. It headed for the tree closest to the garage. It landed on a branch close to the bottom. It watched Jason and Billy, who were waiting for the others to inform them if they found Tommy.
"I hope the others had better luck than we did," Jason muttered with a frown.
"Me too," Billy agreed and slipped his hands into his pockets. "Alpha could help us locate Tommy if he weren't busy trying to find Zordon."
"I pray to God that he finds him and brings him home soon," Jason whispered in a little uncertainty. "It's been hell without him."
"I wish Zordon had told us about the Green Power Coin. We've would've been able to prepare for the Green Ranger's arrival if he had," Billy commented truthfully.
"I don't understand why he never told us," Jason muttered, shaking his head in disbelief. "He's always been open with us regarding his past."
"Perhaps he didn't want us to face the possibility of facing an evil Power Ranger," Billy suggested.
"Maybe," Jason agreed. "Still, he should've been honest with us. It would've saved us so much trouble."
Approaching footsteps caught the duo's attention. They turned to see Zack and Trini coming their way. Zack and Trini stopped before them. They inhaled deeply and exhaled slowly.
"Did you two have any luck in finding Tommy?" Billy suggested.
"Nope," Zack answered with a heavy sigh.
Trini groaned annoyingly as she went to Jason's side. "We looked all over the park and talked to a bunch of people. No one has seen him at all."
"I'm sorry about that," Jason responded sympathetically and put his arm around her. He gave her a small hug.
"What about you two?" Zack wondered uncertainly. "I hope you had better luck than we did."
Jason shook his head. "Nope."
"We checked quite a bit of the school. There was absolutely no sign of Tommy," Billy added in much disappointment.
"Damn it," Zack yelled and kicked the pavement in frustration. "I wish we could go to Rita's palace and force her to tell us where that guy is."
Billy showed sympathy. "You're not the only one who feels that way, Zack."
"I hope Kim was able to find him," Jason commented and cleared his throat.
"I definitely found him, Jase," a female voice announced.
Jason, Trini, Zack, and Billy looked ahead, seeing Kim come toward them. She stopped close to them. She dug the heel of her pink sneaker into the pavement. She pressed her lips together.
"It's good to know you found Tommy, Kim," Jason said, his voice showing much relief.
"It was all thanks to Ernie," Kim commented and furrowed her brow.
Zack emitted a soft snort. "It's times like this we are very fortunate to have Ernie as a friend."
"You got that right, Zack," Trini agreed.
"You may think I am crazy, but Tommy's eyes were glowing green," Kim pointed out and waved her hand in front of her. "It was really scary."
Billy expressed amazement. "Wow!"
"Man," Zack said, shuddering in some fear.
"He has known all along who we are," Kim pointed out matter-of-factly.
"That we're the Power Rangers?" Billy wondered with raised eyebrows.
"Mm-hmm," Kim answered with a nod. She dug the toe of her sneaker into the pavement. "He is definitely out to get us."
"It is obvious he is under one of Rita's spells," Jason added and swallowed hard. "Why else would his eyes glow green?"
Kim ran her tongue all over the inside of her mouth. "The spell would explain why he's been acting so weird."
"It is why the Putties didn't attack him," Zack responded and snapped his fingers. He pointed one at her.
"It is why he lied to us when Jason went missing," Trini added.
"This is finally all starting to make sense," Billy said and let out a relieved sigh. "Then again, who would've thought Rita would choose a teen to be her Green Ranger? You would think she'd choose someone a bit older."
Jason suppressed a yawn. "She saw an excellent fighter in Tommy and decided he would be the perfect soldier. Because he was new in town, he was easy pickings for her."
The others voiced their agreement. Kim slipped her hands inside her pockets and tapped her foot three times.
"This would be the perfect time for Rita to launch an attack on Angel Grove," Trini muttered fearfully. "I mean, our zords are trapped."
"I bet she will gloat in her little victory for a time before she decides to attack again," Zack suggested.
"I do hope Alpha brings Zordon back fast," Kim said, her body trembling some. "It's been hard dealing with this on our own, even with him guiding us."
"If there is one thing this situation has taught us, it's that our mentor won't always be here to help us. Sometimes, we have to handle things without him," Jason said honestly.
"Just like with our parents. They aren't always around to help us solve difficult problems," Billy pointed out.
"Some kids expect their parents to solve every problem they have," Trini grumbled in disbelief. "They are in for a rude awakening when their parents aren't there to help them at all."
"If you have your parents catering to your every need, then you won't get far in life at all," Zack said with an annoyed scoff. "Those kids who act like that are spoiled little brats."
"Veronica is the perfect example of a spoiled brat. Her parents cater to her every need. She never thanks them for it," Kim said in much disgust. "She makes me want to throw up on her every time she brags about how rich she is." She made a retching sound. "She could use a ruined blouse for once."
"You are definitely right about that, Kim," Trini agreed and blew a raspberry.
"Yeah," Jason agreed. "Anyway, let's continue keeping an eye out for trouble. We have no idea when and where Rita will attack."
"Right," the others responded firmly.
"Good," Jason commented. "Moreover, let's use this weekend to relax. We really need it. The best part is it lasts for four days."
The others voiced their agreement. Jason, Trini, Zack, and Kim walked away. Billy watched after them until they were gone. He headed into the garage while snapping his fingers.
