Tony strode towards the door and wrenched it open. Outside, people were screaming and running from something. The road was jammed and the drivers were frantically honking. Tony looked around and started towards where they were running from. A woman falls in front of Tony, who helps her up. Luke, Rey and Finn would've stopped to look at the sites but there were more pressing matters at hand.
"FRIDAY, what am I looking at?" Tony asked his AI, quickly putting on his glasses.
"Not sure, working on it!" FRIDAY responded.
"They've already found us!" Luke shouted over all the screaming. Tony turned to Strange.
"You might wanna put that Time Stone in your back pocket, doc!" Tony said before turning to Rey, "You too kid!"
"We might need them just in case!" Rey responded. They all walked further to see a large ring-shaped spaceship looming over the city.
"Oh, man." Finn said.
…
For once in his life, Peter Parker's day was actually going well. He had arrived to school on time for the first time in a while, there was not a single crime in sight and he was able to happily able to go on a school field trip with his best friend, Ned Leeds.
What could possibly go wrong?
The bus was just starting to pass over the Queensboro Bridge when his spider-sense went off. His arm hair stood straight on end as the sensation rippled through his entire body. Peter jerked his head up to look at it before it swiveled around reflexively to look behind him and out the window.
There - in the sky - was a circular-shaped aircraft that was hovering dauntingly right over the skyscrapers of Manhattan.
The blood drained from Peter's face as he stared at it for a split second. Was that- it couldn't be, but- was that a spaceship?
He couldn't tear his eyes away as he blindly reached for Ned in the other seat, intending on tapping him on the shoulder but he instead ended up patting him on the head.
"Ned, hey. I need you to cause a distraction." Ned turned in his seat to look back at him, and Peter could see the exact moment that Ned saw the danger from the obvious widening of his eyes.
"Holy shit! We're all going to die!" Ned exclaimed as he got up from his seat, standing up in the bus aisle and making his way toward the back window. "There's a spaceship!"
Exclamations from their classmates broke out around them as they followed Ned's example - turning and gawking out the windows in utter disbelief that this was happening... again.
Peter was certain of what he knew was on all of their minds - would New York survive another alien attack? He wasn't sure... but Peter would do his damn hardest in making sure to fight back whatever came through that ship.
With everyone distracted - courtesy of Ned Leeds - Peter scrambled for his web-shooters in his backpack, attached them to his wrists, and shot a web at the emergency exit window. He prayed that no one noticed his retreat from the bus as he crawled through the tiny opening.
He could hear the nervous chatter from his classmates as he clung to the side of the bus, donning his spider-mask before he reached in to grab his backpack that he had left behind on the seat.
Then, he launched himself off of the bus, over the ledge of the bridge so that he was free-falling toward the dark waters of the river below. He immediately shot a web, not wanting to spare a moment to the thrills of submitting his will to gravity. His web clung to the bottom of the bridge, and Peter launched himself forward into a flip that helped with his momentum.
His full attention was hyper-focused on that spaceship...
...
Meanwhile, Luke, Rey, Tony, Strange, Wong, Finn and Bruce were walking towards the area below where the ship was hovering. Dust was everywhere.
"Friday, evac anyone south of 43rd Street. Notify first responders!" Tony ordered.
"Will do!" Friday replied.
Strange made a few more hand motions and thrust his arms forward. An orange wall flew down the street and the dust blew away from them upwards, revealing abandoned cars littering the street. Stephen winked at Tony and Luke. Luke and Tony smirked before turning back to the ship.
A beam from the ship opened up and descended to the ground. Out of the beam, two figures stepped out: Ebony Maw and Cull Obsidian.
Tony studied them as the seven heroes stepped closer. Maw began to speak.
"Hear me, and rejoice! You are about to die at the hands of the Children of Thanos. Be thankful, that your meaningless lives are now contributing to-"
"I'm sorry Earth is closed today!" Tony interrupted. "You better pack it up and get out of here."
Maw turned to both Stephen and Rey, "Stonekeepers, does this chattering animal speak for you?"
"Absolutely not, we speak for ourselves." Stephen lifted his hands and made some more gestures, summoning up two orange shields. He readied himself to fight. Wong did the same, another two shields materializing in his hands. Luke activated his Lightsaber with a green blade forming along with Rey doing the same with her blade blue. Finn simply readied his blaster. "You're trespassing in this city and on this planet," Stephen said.
"The stones aren't going anywhere with the likes of you!" Luke declared
"It means get lost, Squidward." Tony added.
"Both of you!" Rey specified.
Maw scowled. "He exhausts me. Bring me the stone," he commanded. Cull Obsidian snarled and walked slowly towards them.
"Hey, do you want a piece?" Tony asked Bruce.
"No, not really. But when do I ever get what I want?" Bruce tugged on his clothes nervously. He closed his eyes and tried to turn into the Hulk. Keyword, tried.
"That's right. Been a while," Tony said. "Good to have you, buddy."
"Wait, what exactly is he doing?" Finn asked seeing Bruce's skin turn green in front of him.
"He's about to get angry." Tony with the upmost confidence.
Bruce's neck was turning green but he didn't change. "I just, I need to concentrate for a second." Bruce mumbled. He grunted as he strained to bring out the Hulk. His face scrunched in concentration, but nothing more than his neck turning green happened. "Come on come on," he muttered.
Cull Obsidian walked closer, slamming his hammer into a car.
Strange took a small step back and looked at Bruce, still in a fighting stance.
Tony turned to look at him. "Where's your guy?" he asked.
Bruce crouched bent over in the effort to bring the Hulk out. He took a few breaths and righted himself, the green in his neck vanishing, saying "I don't know, we've sorta been having a thing."
"Well please end that thing right now. That big guy is about to come right at us!" Luke said.
Cull Obsidian snarls as he plods closer.
Bruce tries again to summon the Hulk. He cried out in pain and leaned over to catch his breath.
Rey, Finn, Stephen and Wong stare at him, confused.
Tony looked at Strange staring at them, then turned to Bruce. "Dude, you're embarrassing me in front of the wizards and Luke Skywalker." he said.
"I-I can't...He won't..." Bruce panted.
"It's okay, stand down." Tony said. He turned to Wong and Finn and asked him "Can I leave you with him?"
"Don't worry, we got him." Finn assured.
Cull Obsidian roared and ran forward to attack.
Tony pulled on strings on his jacket and it tightened. He tapped the arc reactor on his chest twice and began walking casually towards the aliens. He pulled off his glasses as the iron man suit in his arc reactor started to climb his chest to the rest of his body. Once fully formed, Cull raised his hammer to bring it down on Tony. A shield formed in Tony's fist, and he raised it up, blocking the hammer.
Four semicircles detached from the suit's back. Tony thrusted his fists forwards, and both his fists and the semicircles shot repulsor beams at the large alien, knocking him backwards. Maw waved him aside into a pile of trucks. The semicircles folded back up and reattached to Tony's suit.
Rey, Luke and Finn were speechless and in complete awe of what they just witnessed.
"Where'd that come from?" Bruce asked in amazement.
"It's nanotech, you like it?" Tony turned back to Bruce. He was interrupted as Maw raised his hand and Tony was launched into the sky with a shout.
Maw lifted up two trees and flung them towards the sorcerers, Finn and Bruce. Wong quickly made a shield to block the tree.
Stephen then turned to Bruce and the former Stormtrooper. "Finn look after Dr. Banner, since your green friend will not be joining us..." He created a portal sending Bruce and Finn into a park. A small car fell through not too far from Bruce. He gasped and rolled out of the way.
"Never gonna get used to that." Finn grumbled.
Meanwhile, Stephen performed a spell as Maw threw a car at them, but Tony came in flying past him and shot the car back. Maw raised a hand and the car split, both halves hurtling on both sides of the alien.
"You guys gotta get those stones outta here, now," Tony said to Stephen and Rey.
"It stays with us." Stephen snapped.
"And we're not running." Rey added.
"Exactly. Bye!" Tony said. He takes off towards Maw, who throws a bunch of long spears constructed by junk. Tony easily dodges them but Cull throws something that knocks Tony away. He sailed through a wall and hit a tree, winding up in the same park Bruce was dropped in.
"Tony! You ok?" Bruce runs up and kneeled over his friend. "How we doing? Good man?"
"Really really good, really good. You planning on helping out?"
"I'm trying, he won't come out!" Bruce said worried.
"We'll try harder!" Finn barked.
Just then, Cull bursted through the nearby building and threw a punch at Rey, who quickly averted it with a Force Jump. She slashed at him with her Lightsaber but he threw his hammer at her, quickly averting it.
"Hammer!" Tony pushed Bruce and Finn out of the way and charged at Cull, shooting beams at him. Cull blocked them, but the beams sliced through a tree, which fell on Bruce. Suddenly gaining an idea, he turned to Finn.
"Listen, I need you to slap me!" Bruce pleaded.
"What!? Why!?" Finn asked, clearly confused.
"So I can get angry and draw Hulk out! Now slap me!"
"Uh okay!" Finn started repeatedly slapping Bruce as hard as he could, but nothing would work.
"Come on, Hulk. What are you doing to me? Come out! Come out!" Bruce yelled.
Suddenly, Bruce's face was split into half Bruce and half Hulk.
"NOOOOO!" The Hulk side roared causing Finn to stumble back. Bruce's face turned back to normal, Bruce stumbling a bit. "What do you mean no!?" he yelled.

Peter had arrived in Central Park just in time. Though that was just his opinion of course. There was alien chasing Mr. Stark in what looked to be a brand new Iron Man suit, and Peter was glad to see him - already on the case.
It seemed he wasn't alone though as fighting alongside Mr. Stark was a beautiful girl dressed in strange clothing. But what really shocked Peter about her was that she was holding...a Lightsaber!?
He had seen replicas of a Lightsaber before. But the saber that the girl was wielding looked to be the real deal. Who was She?
That was impossible. Was Star Wars actually real? Were the prequels, the Original Trilogy and the Clone Wars real? He thought it only existed in the movies and TV Shows.
But Peter didn't dwell on that for long as he watched from his distant vantage point in the sky as the alien knocked Mr. Stark out of the air with a swing of his large hammer. Mr. Stark was sent crashing into the girl as they both slammed to the ground and bounced off of the grass from the impact. Peter pushed himself harder - needing to get there in time.
Mr. Stark hadn't even turned on the ground yet to face the attack as the alien towering over him swung his hammer back in what looked to be a death blow and- Peter jumped in front of the hammer, using all his strength to be the barrier between it and Mr. Stark as he stopped the momentum of the swing with his arms.
His efforts were effective. A beam of pride burst out of him and he could hear it in his voice as he spoke. "Hey, man. What's up, Mr. Stark? Hi Miss!"
Rey looked up the young man in the red and blue suit. "Who are you?"
"Why I'm your friendly neighborhood Spider-Man, of course!"
Rey was very confused. Judging from his voice, he was most likely her age.
Mr. Stark fully turned onto his back, his voice sounded surprised at seeing him there as Peter still held his own against the increasing pressure that the alien was putting on the hammer pushing against Peter's hold. "Kid, where'd you come from?"
"Field trip-" Cull grabbed him and tossed him towards a fountain. "-to MOMA!"
While Cull was distracted, Tony fired another beam at the alien's tough armor.
"What's this guy's problem Mr. Stark?" Peter shot some webs at Cull to pull himself back over.
"Uh, he's from space, he came to steal a two Stones from a wizard and Luke Skywalker!" Tony said very matter-of-factly.
"Oh, Really?" Peter said while jumpingat Obsidian, who caught him in his weapon and swung him around before tossing him away. Rey swung her saber striking Obsidian's knee and Force Pushed him while Tony flew in, firing at him, who grabbed a car and tossed it at him, who dodged. Peter webbed the airborne car back at Cull. It hit him and smashed him to the ground.
"Wait a second! LUKE SKYWALKER IS ACTUALLY HERE!?"

Maw lifted several bricks and, turning them into sharp points, fired at Strange and Wong. They opened portals to defend themselves and sent them back to him. Maw defended himself with a car, but his face was still hit by one.
Luke, using the Force, lifted a car and threw it at Maw but he redirected towards him. Luke swung his saber tearing the car in half. Maw lifted another car. So did Luke. It seemed to be a tug of war between them but Luke proved to be the strongest as the car ended up destroying itself.
Angrily, Maw used a broken fire hydrant's stream to throw Wong and Luke back, knocking him out and leaving Luke temporarily dazed.
Strange restrained Maw with a whip, but Maw flew at him and pinned Strange to a building, trapping him with bricks.
"Your powers are quaint. You must be popular with children." Maw said as he reached for the Eye of Agamotto. His hand wraps around it but the necklace glows and his hand burns and he screams, pulling back. A burn stood out against his gray skin.
"It's a simple spell but quite unbreakable." Stephen said.
"Then I'll take it off your corpse." Maw snarled. He grabbed Stephen by the front of his clothes and they tumbled to the ground. After a brief struggle, Maw bound a tight wire around Stephen, immobilizing him.
"You'll find. Removing a dead man's spell...troublesome." Stephen gasped for breath.
"You'll only wish you were dead." Maw sneered as he curled his hand into a fist and the wires wrapped tighter around Stephen, who passed out.
Stephen fell over, bouncing off a car. Maw lifts the piece of pavement around Stephen to get him to follow him. The Cloak wiggled to life and freed her master and whisked him away.
"No!" Ebony screamed.
Luke, who just recovered, saw the Cloak make its daring escape with Strange so he lifted the pavement he was standing and went after him.
The Cloak flew by Peter as he, Rey and Tony continued to fight Obsidian. Peter turned to look at them.
"Guys, that's the wizard, get on it!" Tony ordered as he lifted his shield to prevent another of Cull's attacks.
"How?
"Got it!" Peter said running to Rey. "Hey, uh, this might sound weird but you might wanna hang onto me."
"What? Why?" Rey asked still a little bewildered this 'Spider-Man'. Peter grabbed her by the waist and held up his arm in the air.
"Because of this!" Peter said before jumping into the air and swinging into the air after Strange, much to Rey's slight dismay.
Rey screamed and closed her eyes. Yes, even though she was no damsel in distress, she was woman enough to admit it. Her heart dropped down to her stomach. The air whooshed out of her lungs.
"Really sorry about this!" Peter said. He hadn't meant give her quite a scare like that.
"No, no it's okay!" Rey shouted over the air flowing through them. "I'm not afraid of heights. Besides this is...actually quite nice. I actually like this."
The world wasn't spinning as much as it was with her eyes closed. Rey was less disoriented now that she was aware of which way was up and which way was down. The ride itself - if she could even call it that - was less jilted and smoother. She could tell that he was making an extra effort not to jostle her more than necessary and she appreciated it.
Maw made a Billboard fly behind him targeting both Rey and Peter along with Luke who was unknowingly behind them.
"Watch out!" Rey shouted as Peter barely dodged the incoming Billboard.
"Thanks!"
"No problem!"
"Hey you, uh, never told me your name!"
"Oh, um, I'm Rey!"
"Oh well nice to meet you Rey!"
"You too!"
Trailing behind them, Luke saw the Billboard and sliced it in half using his saber.
Maw used his power to make all the streetlights bend, snagging the Cloak and Strange fell.
"Gotcha!"Peter crowed as he webbed Stephen only a foot from the ground.
"HEY!" The beam from the spaceship had caught Stephen and was taking him up to the ship. The Cloak darted around him, trying to get him out but being careful not to be sucked in. Peter, web still attached to Stephen, was also lifted upwards. He grabbed a street pole, straining to bring Stephen back down to the ground. Rey yelped still clutching onto Spider-Man. She tried to see if she could use her Force powers to pull them back down but it was no good.
Maw uprooted the pole, pulling it from the ground and Strange, Peter, Rey and the pole was dragged up to the ship.
"Uh, Mr. Stark! Rey and I are being beamed up!" Peter let go of the pole and used both hands to hold onto the web.
"We could really use some help right now!" Rey added.
"Hang on guys!" Tony was still fighting Cull. Cull grabbed him and threw him on the ground. As he struggled to get out of a metal band that trapped him, Cull had drawn a knife and ran towards him.
Suddenly, a portal opened above Tony. Cull fell in and landed in a barren snowy wasteland. He looked up and jumped towards the portal, where Wong and Bruce were standing, Wong with his sling ring out. Before Cull could get them, Wong closed the portal and his severed hand fell to the ground. Bruce yelped, jumping away from it. He let out a groan of disgust and kicked it away.
"Disgusting!" Finn said clearly agreeing with Bruce's actions.
"Wong, Finn you're both invited to my wedding!" Tony burst through the restraints and flew upwards.
On the ship, which was speeding up towards the atmosphere, Peter was hanging onto the side. Rey had jumped inside the ship, meaning she was safe and sound aboard. But a someone so fast jumped aboard behind her. He didn't see who it was.
"Give me a little juice, Friday!" Tony said. A larger thruster appeared around his legs, and he shot towards the ship.
Maw was walking inside the ship to the control room, Strange floating behind him.
"Unlock 17-A," Tony ordered, and far away, a small craft flew out towards the ship.
"Kid, you gotta let go. I'm gonna catch you." Tony said to Peter.
"But you said save the wizard!" Peter shouted as he continued to climb up. "I can't breathe!" He pulled off his mask, gasping for breath.
"You're too high up, you're running out of air." Tony said, sounding worried.
"Yeah," Peter nods, slightly delirious. "That makes sense." His eyes roll up and faints, falling off.
The small craft, 17-A opens and latches onto Peter, forming the Iron Spider suit. Peter bounced off the ship but woke up just in time to catch himself. "Mr. Stark, it smells like a new car in here!" He shouted excitedly as he stood up heroically.
"Happy trails, kid! Friday, send him home," Tony said as he flies by Peter.
"Aww, c'mon!" Peter shouted as a parachute opened in the back of Peter's suit, catching the wind and pulling Peter away.
Tony flew to the side of the ship and stuck to it with his fist. A laser activated in the other, and he cut a hole and climbed inside.
"Boss, incoming call from Miss Potts." Friday says, and turns on the phone.
"Tony? Oh, my God. Are you alright? What's going on?" Pepper asked fearfully.
"Yeah, I'm fine. I just think we might have to push our 8:30 res." Tony said as he looked around.
"Why?" Pepper asked.
"Just 'cause I'll probably not make it back home for awhile." replied Tony. He watched the inside of the ship working and his helmet retracted.
"Tell me you're not on that ship." Pepper begged. But Tony stayed silent for a moment before saying. "Yeah."
"Honey, I'm sorry. I'm sorry. I don't know how to say this. Pep…" Tony tried to talk over her.
"Come back here, Tony. I swear to God...Come back here right now! Come back!" She begged.
"Boss, we're losing her." Friday said. All Tony hears is static before the call completely ends, leaving him looking miserable.
Outside of the ship, Peter was clinging to a strand of web attached to the side of the ship.
He pulled himself up and latched one hand onto the ship, accidentally turning around and seeing how high up he was. "Oh my God." He turned back to place the other hand on the craft. An opening started to close and Peter crawled inside. "I should have stayed on the bus," He muttered as the door closed.
Maw pushed the hand controls forward, smirking, and the spaceship went into lightspeed and shot away.
Meanwhile, Bruce picked up Tony's flip phone, which he had dropped in the rubble. He blew on it before looking at Finn, then Wong, who had opened another portal back to the sanctum.
"Where are you going?" Finn shouted.
"The Time Stone's been taken," Wong walked through the portal, still open. "The Sanctum remains unguarded. What will you do?"
"I'm gonna make a call." Bruce replied, lifting the phone.
Wong stared at him and Finn for a second, then closed it behind him.
Bruce opened it, blowing on it again. He pressed on Steve's name and then pressed call, looking stressed, and lifted it to his ear.
Finn looked up in the sky. As much he wanted to somehow find a way back to Rey, there was nothing he could do now.
"Who are you calling?" Finn asked turning to Bruce.
"The rest of the Avengers." Bruce said firmly.
