Dear Harry,
Congratulations on your new home and getting ownership of InGen. I know my father is much happier having the workload taken off of him, and we've been spending a lot of time together at the Lockwood Manor in California. While I haven't spoken to Dr. Hammond much since the transfer, I believe he's taken the change well all things considered, though I do believe having his entire life's work given to a sixteen-year-old hurt his pride and ego.
While I appreciated the offer of a job and promotion to the head offices in Palo Alto as a junior Lead Geneticist, I'm going to have to decline. My father is insisting I finish my education, and I'm inclined to agree with him. While the idea of working at the headquarters or the park seems fun, I don't believe I would be nearly as useful as I could be with a degree in my field. But again, thank you.
It's been a while since we talked in person, and I miss seeing you. It would be great if we could hang out sometime. Perhaps you could come to visit the manor or I could visit your new estate. It gets a bit lonely in the manor despite how much I love my father and Iris. But it is how it is. I hope you're doing well.
Love, Charlotte
Harry Potter was an emancipated adult in charge of taking care of himself. So he did what any adult would do if they carried a massive fortune and a bit too much ambition. He bought eighteen hundred square miles worth of land in northern Scottland. A week after his acquiring InGen and the Hammond Foundation, Harry found an isolated region of Scotland and tracked down the location he believed Hogwarts would be. He then used his omnifabricator to create a pinch fusion reactor capable of amplifying entry to tenfold its original output. The device was then strapped to Harry's chest as he used his now-amplified magic to recreate Hogwarts. But it wouldn't be a school, and so he needed to redesign it completely to make it a livable home where he would be comfortable. And so he created a quantum replicator, a handheld device capable of creating massive structures from subatomic particles.
Using the device, Harry was able to redesign the entirety of Hogwarts, turning it from an educational castle to a living castle. The entire west side of the grounds; the Great Hall, Entrance Hall, The Quad, The Grand Staircase, and the Clock Tower were all rebuilt into one massive castle that would act as his permanent home. He would eat, sleep, and live there. On the east side of the grounds on the other side of the valley; the Middle Courtyard, the East Wing, the Greenhouses, and the classrooms were all rebuilt into a network of labs where his work would be done. The two wings - East and West - were connected by the still intact Viaduct, stone bridge, and his favorite suspension bridge.
The covered bridge to the north of the clock tower connected to a cliffside not too far away, acting as a possible entrance for people. But it was blocked off, intended to only be used by special visitors or in emergencies. He didn't recreate the Whomping Willow, Quidditch Pitch, or the Owlery given their uselessness to him now. But he did recreate the Great Lake, using the quantum fabricator to create a miniature terraformer. Loving the use of fabricator technology, Harry used the terraformer to replace the fields to the west of the castle with a giant lake. He then used the fabricator to create life capable of residing in the lake; algae, fish, the merpeople, as well as the famous Giant Squid he had grown to love during his time at Hogwarts.
Taking things a bit further, he used the terraformer to replace the fields to the north with a massive forest filled with sentient magical creatures that were created to reside inside the new Forbidden Forest. Centaurs, unicorns, acromantulas, dragons, thestrals, thunderbirds, hippogriffs, and more magical and non-magical creatures. The boathouse was completely redesigned to allow massive boat entry in case he needed equipment brought in by boat. This reminded him to add an outlet from Loch Linnhe to the Great Lake. Once that was complete, he constructed a hyperloop station where the Hogsmeade station would have been.
The grounds now resembling Hogwarts with the Great Lake, Valley, Forbidden Forest, and the new Hyperloop station, Harry felt more at home than ever. His castle was quite large, having roughly seven stories. The top floor was outfitted with a massive bedroom filled with ancient artifacts he had collected in the Dawn of Time. The most important artifacts were kept in his trophy room across the hall, with the two rooms making up most of the seventh floor. The sixth floor contained his personal kitchen and dining room, a movie theater, a pool, a gym, a bowling alley, and a bathroom. The fifth floor was split into two massive rooms, both acting as rooms of requirement. One was his War Room, where he would train using weapons against enemies. The other room served as a normal Room of Requirement, giving him anything magical he would need, such as potions, ingredients, or acting as a place to hold things.
The fourth floor held a massive personal library that held a small portion of the books he had collected in the War in Time, a personal living area where he could relax and read by the fire, a few personal offices where business could be held, as well as a couple of bathrooms. The third floor held the guest gym, pool, movie theater, and bowling alley were located. There was also a game room, where guests could play games and have fun. The second floor was where the guest bedrooms, bathrooms, the guest living room, and the library were located. And the first floor contained the Entrance Foyer, Main Living Area, Dining Room, Public Trophy Room, and guest restrooms.
North of the castle was a massive garden containing non-magical and magical plants, sectioned off in accordance to use. In the center was a massive fountain with several benches situated around it for sitting. The entire castle in itself was magical, even if it didn't resemble Hogwarts in the slightest. This castle wasn't made of just magical brick as the old castle had been. It was now made of carphene charmed to look like brick. The castle's power came directly from the sub-basement, which held a matter-antimatter annihilator as well as binary cycle geothermal power. The castle would be the first of its kind to run on completely environmentally friendly power.
But it wasn't until he was finished with the entire castle three weeks later and he began to take the tour that he began to appreciate the entire thing more. Upon entering the foyer, Harry was met with the color scheme of the entire castle. Red and gold. The colors of Gryffindor House. A grand staircase lead up to the second floor while two massive wooden doors sat to his left and his right. The foyer itself was covered in old paintings he'd bought that he thought brightened the place up. Two suites of armor sat on either side of each set of doors, something that reminded him of the halls of Hogwarts. There were benches and small tables on either wall as well as a massive chandelier that hung from the ceiling, illuminating the room in golden light.
Moving through the left set of doors, Harry found himself inside the Dining Room. It was a massive dining room capable of holding up to over a hundred people. But the table in the center of the room was only large enough to hold eight people. The table would grow and shrink when the occasion was necessary. Several chandeliers were lighting the room, with more paintings and benches occupying the war. One corner of the room held a fireplace, a couch, and a few chairs for lounging. Another corner held a massive bar filled to the brim with different forms of alcohol and beverages. There was no kitchen attached. That was beneath them, where Harry's house elves - created thanks to his omnifabricator - would magic the food up directly to the table during the meals.
On the other side of the kitchen was another set of doors leading into the large trophy hall. There, people would see some of his more prized possessions on display as they moved through the first floor. Down the hall were two more sets of doors. The one leading forward would go outside to the garden while the ones leading right would lead to the second set of stairs and the living area. The living area was massive, holding enough room to make up four or five different living areas. There were several fireplaces and flatscreen televisions situated around the room, with couches and tables surrounding each fireplace. And in the center of the room was a large table with a dance floor beneath. More chandeliers lit the room while portraits of famous inventors, scientists, and mathematicians were hung along the walls.
Exiting through the doors that had been on the right side of the foyer, Harry turned right and moved up the grand staircase. He took a left, moving down the hallway to find several guest bedrooms filled with beds, desks, closets, and attached bathrooms. He took a right and continued down a similar-looking hallway. Eventually, he reached an elevator. He took it up to the third floor, where he was met with a long hallway stretching towards another elevator. In the center between the two was a large intersection that split to the left and right towards staircases leading down. The intersection held a small fountain as well as a magical skylight that showed the sky above through the top four floors. Slowly moving down the hall, Harry was met with several large doors with signs labeling what they led to. 'Pool', 'Gym', 'Movies', he stepped around the fountain and continued. 'Games' and 'Bowling' were last.
Stepping into the elevator, he entered his passcode, which revealed a hidden panel above the buttons labeled '1', '2', and '3'. The new panel held four buttons; '4', '5', '6', and '7'. He clicked on '7', having already seen his private floors as they were finished. But he had not yet seen the completed seventh floor, having left the best for last. The door closed and rose upwards to the last floor of the castle. When he arrived, Harry was met with a large trophy room that made up half of the seventh floor. It was filled to the brim with mannequins, display cases, and portraits all hung up on the wall. He recognized every one of the items in the room, as well as some of the portraits on the wall. James and Lily were there. Sirius and Remus too. He could also see Headmaster Dumbledore and Professor McGonagall in the distance.
Moving through the trophy room, Harry eventually entered his bedroom, which was spacious enough to hold everything he needed. His desk held a holographic display capable of being interacted with. His bed was large, offering enough room for him to toss and turn in the night. His closet was nothing but a panel on the floor. When he stepped on it, the brain-computer interface in his brain would allow him to think of the clothes he wanted to wear. Nanites would then rise from the panel and form into clothes that he could change at will. There was a small fireplace in the corner of the room surrounded by a few chairs and a coffee table for reading. And besides his desk sat a replicator within the wall, capable of creating anything smaller than a medium-sized box.
The wall across from the door and left to the bed held two massive retractable curtains that led out to his balcony. His roof was made of gorilla glass, acting as a large skylight for him to look out of. The wall closest to the door was where his more important artifacts would be kept, such as his Ring of Animal Influence and his Living Gloves of Kathorn. The closet, holodesk, curtains, skylight, replicator, and fireplace were all connected directly to Harry's brain, allowing him to manipulate them with simple thoughts or a gesture. It would come in handy when he was particularly exhausted and didn't want to think about manually starting the fire.
Taking a seat at his desk, he signed in using his handprint and immediately accessed the secured files he had created within the InGen system. He started by examining the Jurassic World schematics. The park would span three-fourths of the entirety of Isla Nublar, featuring over three dozen dinosaurs as well as several theme park rides, restaurants, hotels, and a lot more. The other fourth of the island was reserved for the Control Center, the paleo hospital, the security headquarters, as well as any other facilities needed to help operate the park. The docks were located at the southern tip of the island, allowing both boat and hyperloop access. The docks were connected to the Visitor Center by Monorail, allowing for easy travel around the entire park.
Harry turned towards the other two parks. Jurassic World: Nova Scotia and Jurassic World: Europe, which would be based in Italy. The Nova Scotian park would feature over a dozen dinosaurs, with most of the park featuring theme park rides, hotels, restaurants, as well as history centers discussing how Jurassic World came to be. Jurassic World: Europe would be larger than the Nova Scotian park, featuring less than two dozen dinosaurs while going heavily in the direction of theme park attractions. All three would be completed by 2000.
Moving past that, Harry began to look over the roster for the new employees of Jurassic World. He needed engineers, researchers, analysts, business managers, lawyers, paleontologists, paleo-veterinarians, security officers, etc. But most importantly, he needed a manager for the park. After all, he didn't want to have to stay there and manage the thing forever. And so he decided to tackle them all in order, starting with engineers. He didn't bother looking at their prices, instead choosing to focus on their experience and attitude. The interviews had already been held while Harry constructed his home, and because they were recorded, all he had to do was look over the footage as well as their profiles and make his decision. It would be a long month.
Christmas came early for Harry Potter in the form of a massive get-together with everyone he knew in this universe. He invited the Hammonds, the Lockwoods, Dr. Wu, as well as several of his employees. They all had accepted the invitation, with the Hammonds being the first to arrive on December 20th. They would all stay until after the New Year, filling their time with parties, feasts, and relaxation in what was now dubbed the 'Potter Resort'. On the evening of the 20th, Harry woke up and immediately replicated a nice, warm cup of coffee. While he comfortably drank, he stepped onto his closet panel and allowed the nanites to surround him in a black, three-piece suit. It was a bit much, but he wanted to look nice while greeting his first guests.
He stepped out of his bedroom, moving through his trophy room and into his elevator. He pressed the button labeled '1', readjusting his tie as the elevator deposited him on the first floor. With the turn of his heel, Harry appeared just outside of the entrance to the Hyperloop station, which was connected to several identical stations across the world. Most notably the London stations, Halifax stations, and New York City stations. The Hammonds lived in southern California, so all they had to do was take the new Los Angeles Hyperloop Station to the New York station and then take that directly to the Potter estate by using a special code input. And it seemed they didn't have trouble making the trip given that the doors to the station slid open.
The hyperloop ride had taken only seven and a half hours. Tim Murphy - an eight-year-old dinosaur enthusiast - was most excited about visiting the Potter Estate. After all, Harry Potter was the richest person on the entire planet, as well as the person in charge of developing Jurassic World. And it also helped that Harry Potter was the only person in the world to know more about dinosaurs than his grandfather, Dr. Henry Wu, as well as the famous Dr. Alan Grant. Tim was looking forward to speaking to him. Maybe he could finally get the answers to his questions.
The train slowed to a stop inside the Hyperloop Tunnel, coming to an eventual stop before opening to reveal a large station waiting for them. It wasn't like the one they had been in to get here. While those had still been under construction and the only functional parts were the tunnels themselves and the security, this station was fully operational. The entire floor was covered in red and gold carpet, golden chandeliers hung from the ceiling along with a skylight for a ceiling, and the station came with an operational Starbucks, Guest Center, Convenience Store, and bathrooms. It was as if it was going to be a place people could visit all of the time.
"This place is amazing," said Tim's younger sister Lex, who was only six.
Their grandfather, John Hammond, spoke. "Yes. Very impressive,"
Tim's parents, Martha and David Murphy voiced their impressed thoughts, which were put to an end when a faint pop filled their ears. Tim looked up and there he was, Harry Potter, standing before them as if he had been the entire time. He addressed them all with a smile and a small bow. "Dr. Hammond. It's good to see you again,"
"Please, Harry. Call me John,"
"Very well, John. It's a pleasure to see you again," Mr. Potter replied, shaking the older man's hand. Harry turned to Tim's mother, Martha, reaching out to grab her hand. When she grabbed it Mr. Potter bent down and kissed her knuckles, producing a chuckle from their father, David, who moved forward to shake Mr. Potter's hands. The two exchanged a friendly handshake before Mr. Potter turned to Timothy himself. "You must be Timothy and Alexis. Your grandfather has told me a lot about the two of you,"
"Really?" asked Lex.
"Really. He's quite fond of the both of you," Mr. Potter answered with a smile. He turned back to the adults. "I hope the hyperloop ride was satisfactory?"
"Satisfactory? Ha! We went from Los Angeles to Scotland in seven hours. That's an almost twelve-hour flight, son. The fact that you nearly halved it is more than satisfactory. It's fantastic!" exclaimed his dad as they all exited the station. Mr. Potter's smile never wavered, though Tim thought he caught a wince pass over his face when his dad called him 'son'. Filing that away for later, Tim couldn't help but stop in shock at the sight of the estate in front of him. The ground in front of them was filled with obstacles like trees and hillsides, giving them nothing to see but a massive lake and a large path leading to the right. But it was a beautiful lake, spanning for what seemed like miles. It was only made better when what appeared to be a giant squid shot out of the water, spinning in mid-air before crashing back into the water.
"What the hell was that?" asked his mother as she stepped forward to catch a glimpse of it.
Mr. Potter was unusually calm for having seen it. "That was the Giant Squid. I'm a magical ma'am, and thus my home is the home of many magical creatures. The lake is filled with magical flora and fauna, as well as sentient merpeople. Not mermaids, but merpeople. They speak their own language and have their own little society at the bottom of the lake. Very fun to talk to when sitting on the beach,"
"Are they...friendly?"
"Of course. Well, if you go too deep they'll attack you, but they don't come up to the surface unless you call for them in their language, and I'm the only one that knows it. So feel free to take a casual swim if you'd like,"
"And the squid? Will it attack us?" asked their grandfather.
"No. The squid resides in the deepest part of the lake to the north. It doesn't move south unless its habitat is infested with something and that never happens. The most that'll happen is you might get splashed by it jumping as it did before," Mr. Potter explained. "All of the magical creatures in my estate are completely docile. I made them that way. The Forbidden Forest over there," He motioned to the massive forest off to the north. "Is filled with magical creatures. Giant spiders, centaurs, unicorns, dragons, thunderbirds, anything you can think of is probably in there,"
"Dragons and unicorns are real?" His dad questioned.
"Well, not really. I kind of invented them...genetically," Mr. Potter replied.
"How do you even do that? Dad had the genome sequences from the amber mines, but what exactly do you use to create dragons?" asked his mother.
"It's a long story, but I kind of just stumbled upon their genomes. It took me quite a long time of tinkering and manipulating, but with Dr. Wu's help, I was eventually able to create them. As the only magical individual in the world, I wanted to reflect that with my home. So I created all of the magical creatures I could think of and had them brought here. And it is quite fun, I assure you. Especially the Hippogriffs. Perhaps if you'd like, Timothy and Alexis could ride them,"
"Hippogriffs,"
"Flying birds. Like a pegasus, only much cuter and more fun to ride,"
"Something could be arranged," said Grandpa.
"Great. Now, if you step onto the docks, we'll board the boats and make our way to the castle," explained Mr. Potter, who climbed onto a large rowboat without any rows. With the help of his parents, Grandpa joined Mr. Potter. Everyone else climbed on, with Mr. Potter and Grandpa at the front, Tim's parents in the back, and Tim and Lex in the middle. With everyone on board, the boat lurched forward without warning, moving through the water at a relatively normal pace. Tim smiled. It was magic pulling them through the water.
"So cool," Tim breathed, peering down into the water to see if he could see anything. Nothing but some fish. The boat slowly drifted to the right. Peering back towards Lex, he frowned at her expression. She was staring forward in silence, stunned by something. Peering back, he saw the same expressions from his parents. So he joined them looking forward and he too was blown away by what he saw. At the other end of the lake - once hidden by a cliffside and a bunch of trees - was the Potter Estate, a massive castle looming over the lake. It was the most beautiful building Tim had ever seen. It was huge, and the infrastructure was amazing. It was a masterpiece.
"And I thought my manor was ambitious," said Grandpa, drawing a laugh from Mr. Potter.
"It's...wow," said Tim's father.
"It took a bit of work, but I was able to make it as perfect as it can be. And that isn't even all of it," Mr. Potter said, drawing the attention back to him at that statement. "That is just the west castle. The east side is where all of my offices are located, and where all of my work will be done. It's still under construction right now given that I'm working on other projects, but it's going to be spectacular when it's complete,"
"It's already spectacular," said Tim's mother.
"Thank you. I've put a lot of work into ensuring it's the best home anyone could ask for," Mr. Potter replied as the boat passed below the castle and into a small alcove. They all departed and moved towards a large set of golden doors leading into the castle. Mr. Potter opened them with the wave of his hand, leading them inside. They walked up a large set of steps before eventually reaching a large courtyard. It was large enough to house over a hundred people, with a massive fountain sitting in the middle. The fountain was home to a statue of a man Tim didn't recognize. He had a very long beard and odd-looking glasses that seemed to shine. "That's Albus Dumbledore, my mentor, and teacher. He died many years ago, but he was a great man," Mr. Potter supplied as they passed the fountain.
They reached the front doors of the castle, which once again opened at the wave of Mr. Potter's hand. They stepped inside and saw the magnificent red and gold foyer filled to the brim with portraits, paintings, suits of armor, and a grand staircase moving up to the second floor. "The first three floors are public to guests, but the top for are reserved for myself and my family. The first floor here contains the living area, dining room, trophy area, and a path to the gardens in the back. The second floor is where all of the guest bedrooms are located, all with their own attached bathrooms. The third floor is the recreational area. The library, gym, swimming pool, movie theater, game room, and bowling alley are all up there,"
"Gym?", "Game Room?", "Movie Theater?", "Pool?" were all chorused as Mr. Potter finished, with Tim's attention solely on the game room. If they had computers in there, that would be amazing.
Mr. Potter let out a chuckle. "Yes. All of that is on the third floor. The pool is mainly for those uncomfortable with swimming in the lake. If you want to swim there instead that's entirely your prerogative," He explained as he led them into the living area to the right. It was the largest living room Tim had ever seen. It had enough space to fill four entire living rooms and was filled with portraits, paintings, benches, couches, chairs, four fireplaces, and a massive table in the center for what looked like meetings. There were also large and flat computer screens on the walls, something Tim had never seen before. Mr. Potter must have followed Tim's gaze. "Those are televisions,"
"But they're flat," said Lex.
"Yep,"
"How?" asked their father.
"Well, I took the main components of a normal box television and just shrunk the components while adding a lot more. While the old television used antennas, antenna circuits, separate audio signals, electron gun circuits, electromagnets, and a screen to function, the flatscreen is more complicated. It uses led strips, diffuser and prism films, vertical and horizontal polarizers, rear and front electrodes, liquid crystals, and RGB masks to function. It would take all night to explain how they work completely, but the point is that they're the new and improved television,"
"Can we get one?" asked Lex before she could be hushed by their mother.
"Of course. But that's up to your parents," Mr. Potter replied with a smile. He turned to Tim and Lex. "Why don't the two of you go explore? I need to talk to your grandfather about secret stuff," Tim frowned. At least he wasn't trying to act like they were dumb children incapable of thinking for themselves like most adults seemed to think. So Tim gave him a nod, grabbing Lex's hand before dragging her out of the living room so they could explore the second and third floors.
"Great kids," Harry said as he watched Timothy drag Alexis out of the living area. He turned back to John, who was politely asking his daughter and son-in-law to give them a moment. He took a moment to take in their appearances and take their faces into memory. David - the father - was a well-built man in his late thirties with dark brown hair shaved down significantly. He was wearing a normal black t-shirt and jeans with a dark and expensive watch on his left wrist. And Martha - the mother - was an attractive woman with bright blonde hair and brown eyes. She was wearing a white blouse and a dark skirt, exposing her legs and heels. The two parents smiled, nodding as they moved into the trophy hallway that led to the garden and the dining room. With the room belonging to just the two of them, Harry charmed it to prevent any eavesdropping as he and John took a seat at the table in the center. With a quick handprint, the wood on the table peeled away to reveal a touch-screen display that startled John. "This is a touch-screen table. Handy for going over data,"
"Yes, it certainly looks useful," John agreed.
"It is. Now, I wanted to talk to you about my decisions," Harry pulled up a file named 'Hires', opening it to reveal hundreds of profiles for people he had hired for different jobs at InGen. He pulled up one profile. "For Park Manager, I decided to go with Ida Barlow. She's got a background running several zoos across the west coast and has veterinarian experience. The Head of Security would be Mason Huber. He served three tours with the Army during the Vietnam War and is serving another two tours with the Air Force as we speak in Libya. These are just my first picks. I've got roughly six or seven other choices that you can look over if you don't think these are the best choices,"
"You want me to look these over?"
"Of course! While I took over your responsibilities with both InGen and the Hammond Foundation, Jurassic Park was your idea. I want you to be a part of it. The development, construction, and running of the park. Your name will be stamped all over it, as well as Sir Lockwood's. The two of you may not be the CEOs anymore, but you're still very much a part of the company,"
Hammond seemed touched by that, his gaze steady on Harry before he turned towards the profiles. While John examined the profiles of the potential employees, Harry got to his feet, adjusting his tie as he stepped out of the living area. There, he was met with the Murphy's. Timothy and Alexis were talking excitedly about their bedrooms. Timothy was the most fascinated. "The bed is huge. And there's are desk that you can touch with your fingers to do things. And the closet. It made this weird light that went over me and then it just made whatever I wanted. When I asked for this shirt, I just got a shirt. And the skylight! They're on the second floor and yet it looks just like the sky!"
"That's because it is," Harry spoke. The Murphys spun to face him, smiles passing over their faces. Timothy's eyes boar into him, desperate to know more. "The skylights are charmed with magic to see through the upper floors. The same skylights are all over the castle,"
"How much magic is used in this castle? How much of it is just normal technology?" asked David Murphy.
"Well, that's difficult. A lot of the technology here is magitek. Technology that's embued with magical traits. The desks in your rooms are touch-screen desks capable of being interacted with your fingertips. The closet was a challenge. It scans your entire body and gets your measurements based on your height and weight. It then uses replicator technology to create clothing based on your descriptions. That's why it doesn't kick on until you step on the panel. For the weight,"
"That's...amazing," said Martha. "You created all of this yourself?"
"Well, most of it, yes," Harry wasn't going to give the credit to the now deceased God of Creation Zoruk. To everyone in this universe except those who knew of his omnnifabricator - which had been reduced to only John, Sir Lockwood, Dr. Wu, and Charlotte thanks to memory modification -, he was a scientific and technological genius. And he was becoming one with all of the research he was doing on the technologies he was creating and designing. "The closet, televisions, and desks were all my idea. But I will admit that I shamelessly stole the replicators from Star Trek," Martha giggled at the joke, drawing a look from David. Harry didn't address it, instead choosing to turn to Timothy and Alexis. "Do you two want to take a tour of the upper four levels?"
"Yes!" Timothy exclaimed, turning to his parents. "Can we go? Please?"
"Go ahead, dear. Just be sure not to grill Mr. Potter to death with too many questions," Martha replied. Timothy ran forward to pull his mother into a hug, one that she happily returned before he let go.
"What's on the upper floors?" asked Alexis, who reached up to grab Harry's hand as they moved up the stairs to the second floor. He didn't reject her hand, merely smiled as they stepped towards the elevators.
"The upper floors are my private levels. The fourth and sixth floors are pretty boring, so I'll show you the fifth and seventh floors," Harry replied as they all stepped into the elevators. Inputting his passcode into the keypad, Harry pressed '5' on the new panel, sending the elevator smoothly up to the fifth floor. They exited and moved into the hallway. To their left was a room labeled 'War Room' and to their right a door named 'Room of Requirement. When Timothy reached for the door to the War Room, Harry shook his head. "The War Room is designed to act as my personal gym. I fight and train there, so it's off-limits to children. But the Room of Requirement is harmless,"
They went through the door to the Room of Requirement, entering to find it in its base form. A small, grey, empty cube that was lifeless. Timothy and Alexis both looked around, clearly confused. "Where is everything?" asked Timothy.
"In here," Harry pointed to their foreheads, drawing blank expressions. He clarified. "The Room of Requirement is charmed to react to your inner thoughts. Your needs. All you have to do is ask for something and it will appear. Just like the closet,"
Timothy frowned. "So if I want a massive castle just for myself, it'll appear?" And as quickly as he said those words, they found themselves in the middle of a beautiful meadow. The sky above them was as blue as the real thing, they were surrounded by the smell of fresh air, and they were knee-deep in tall grass that felt identical to the tall grass in Harry's own fields. And not far from them was a massive castle the size of the Potter Estate, only it was bright white with hints of gold instead of Harry's very generic brown and black brick coloring. It was a great sight. "Is that...real?"
"As real as you and me," Harry answered with a grin.
"Can I make something?" Alexis asked, her grip on Harry's hand tightening in anxiety.
"Sure. Just think of something you want or need, and it'll happen," Alexis didn't voice what she wanted or needed. Instead, it merely happened. They still stood in the meadow, but something new sat between them and the meadow. A baseball field. Alexis took in a deep breath as she examined it. Letting go of Harry's hand, she charged forward and passed Timothy, sprinting towards the new field. Harry smiled, watching as she ran around the bases with a gleeful expression etched over her young face. He filed the memory away in his mind, intending to share it with her parents as well as John.
"Sports," muttered Timothy. "Always sports,"
"People have their interests," Harry spoke, drawing Timothy's attention as he rested his hand on the boy's shoulder. "I was very interested in a sport we used to play at school. So much so that I let it affect my studies. Perhaps you could nurture some sort of educational approach to sports. Get her to be interested in learning more about them. And then use that fuel for knowledge to get her interest in other things. Help her expand her horizons instead of judging her for her interests?"
"How old are you?" Timothy asked. Harry laughed, but he didn't answer. He instead continued to watch Alexis as she practiced her swinging with an automated pitcher. Perhaps he had stood there for too long. His watch went off with a notification, alerting him to the Lockwoods' arrival. He frowned. Had it already been an hour? He supposed it had been. After all, he had done a lot of explaining and had already lost track of time in the Room of Requirement. Asking for the exit, Harry's hand left Timothy's shoulder as he moved for the exit. "Where are you going?" Timothy asked.
